Decided 3 hrs before show time, to call the box office and see if we could still get 6 tickets to see RALPH and Scott Helman. We were not disappointed. The show was amazing, not our first time seeing Scott.H. with the kids, but RALPH stole out little girls heart. The staff was helpful, venue was clean and comfortable. Can't wait to go again and see what we can share with the kids.

The performances are fine, I'm short, but round, so I'm always squished. My Aunt is tall so her knees are jammed into the seat in front of her. It's never comfortable to sit for too long.

I visited this venue so that I might meet Christopher Hadfield, Canadian everyman and astronaut extraordinaire. My dad and I had VIP tickets and thus cozied up with a small group of locals and had a quiet talk with a very humble yet powerful man. This talk was fascinating, short, and sweet. The actual main show itself was surprising, and a little disappointing to me as it was highly patriotic--but nevermind all that. It's Christopher Hadfield, and he appeared on the stage at this venue as if he were born for it. The stage and accommodations at this facility have a dark and sombre feeling about them; nevertheless, it was comfortable and the audio was bright. My only gripe is the location of the bathrooms, presumably secure so as to prevent the ingress of vagrants in the downtown area. Making your way to the commode is an exercise in tedium, with much ado about locked doors, descending staircases and left hand turns. It's less than ideal. My advice is don't drink beer while you're here. I ordered a Stack LaCloche here, and, while tasty, had me soon joining a fellowship of travellers in search of the depths for facilities. That aside, I enjoyed the low lighting, and got to get my book signed by the Hadfield himself. A good evening at a good venue.

There's always something happening at the Capitol Centre. We've attended on many occasions for their many events. Between concert going, children's festivals, and free movies, the Capitol Centre has what you need for live performances and a night out. The staff and members are constantly looking for the next big event. Keeping events relevant and interesting. Free movie events are wonderful for the younger children. Concession treats and drinks are available at a small cost. Over the years, my family has attended many events including, concerts, kids plays/shows, reptile show, movies, event festivals, etc. We always thoroughly enjoy ourselves.

Always a great place for concerts, gala events and entertaining friends. The staff is always friendly and the Capital Centre brings in great entertainment. I love the idea that you can rent the stage, Galaxy Room or the Gallery for private functions like weddings or corporate luncheons/dinners. One of the premier locations for an event big or small.

Capitol Centre does not get popular acts very often and when they do get a decent act, the tickets are too expensive. There is a high turnover of staff, and they do not appreciate their volunteers.

Tge Capitol is a great historic theatre steeped in history of North. It is one of the pillars of North Bay bringing in great entertainment. The Sunday night movie is a great deal at $6. Their website is very easy to navigate and filled with up to date information. Check it out!

The Capitol Center is an amazing place. Always have a good list of concerts to go to and I have been going for concerts for a couple years now and I have gotten to attend VIP receptions upstairs in their gallery room. I have met many celebrities like Randy Bachman, Howie Mandel, Sheena Easton, Dan Hill, Larry Gowan, Lighthouse, Les Stroud the Survivorman, Bobby Bruce impersonator/tribute to Neil diamond, the Canadian Idol top 3 tour idols, Jon Anderson from the band YES, the drummer who plays with performer Lights, Marshall Button did the comedy show Helter Smelter, The Stampeders, Paul O'Sullivan from the play Stephen Harper Musical, the drummer group BAM, the Platters, Natalie Choquette the La Diva, the hip hope group Supernaturalz, Sheesham and Lotus who played music from the 1900, The Four Bitchin Babes Band, Jesse Peters a Jazz Pianist, A tribute band to Frankie Valli and the Fourt Seasons!

I went to see a show called ‘Cirque Éloize:Saloon’ and I was very impressed with both the capital center experience and the show. The customer service was exceptional in explaining where everything was and getting our tickets quickly. I believe Rebecca was the one whole helped us a lot of the questions we had. The snacks were very reasonably priced and there was plenty of parking nearby. The show was wonderful, I was pleasantly surprised they were able to performance all those acrobatics on stage. Can’t wait to go see another show.

Bathrooms are a little ways which makes it inconvenient and there are alot of stairs so left standing in line on the steps. Not many stalls for the amount of people so during the intermission lines are long but as far as sound goes and quality of some of the entertainment that plays its great! staff are very nice as well
