HORRIBLE restaurant service. They ignore you then are not friendly as well as brought us the wrong order and argued it. Should hire new staff. The arcade games are few and BORING. All Vegas style chance games nothing fun to play except for maybe 2. Extremely over priced. We had NO fun and spent a lot of money. Wanted to leave early the entire experience. Would never bother coming back here again and DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Bowling is ok nothing great and the people next to us were annoying had 10 balls coming out but kept taking the 2 light balls I had for my young kids. Not the arcades fault but added to the un fun experience. Maybe the staff should limit a ball per person and ask to stick to own balls. 4 thumbs down.

Bad service. Not enough people working. Booked lanes for a birthday party at 2-3. Didn't get them until 2:15. Unable to get food as only one person was working and the lines were super long. Same thing at the arcade. The employee didn't have control of the long line and the not serving customers in order.

An amazing place for birthdays and just to come hang out and have fun with friends. I'm an adult guy, but still this place was awesome, it's not just for kids. The laser tag was pretty nicely sized. Good for a group of 8-10 people for sure. All the equipment seemed new and clean. The bowling alleys were bountiful and we had no wait to play. The arcade games seemed super cool too. Plus there is a bar for all you parents who want to relax while your kid runs around.

This is quite a nice entertainment complex for kids and adults. Large arcade section, bar and restaurant, bowling alley and Lazer tag. Nice large food platters available for groups. Very spacious and clean. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Nice place to spend an afternoon.

We visited this place for my daughter's birthday. There are bowling and laser tag as active. This is a great environment for family, but when we decided to order something that we realized something. There aren't enough people to serve you. Another problem is related with the parking lot, there aren't enough lots available.

This is a place where customers are getting charged more for not a quality service. At least they could invest a little money to bring better balls, they are either with too big wholes or too small that your fingers are not getting into it. We went the counter asking for proper balls that we could play with and the counter is like not important at all telling us that's all we have. I'm sure it doesn't cost much to improve the quality of the service by updating the years old balls. So, I really don't recommend to pay your money here while not enjoying the game.

Staffs need more training on how to serve customer. I walk in with a drink from outside and one of the staff point her finger at me and said "Hey, no outside food or drinks" and she look away. If the manager read this review, please teach them to say the following: I am sorry Sir, outside food or drink is not allow here. Will you be able to leave it in the car or finish it before you come in. That is very different and I will be more than happy to follow the rules.

I love this place, it's great for kids and adults. Great space with good beer, decent food and other activities like an arcade. It's just so expensive we paid over 150 for one lane (6 players max) for two hours and 6 pairs of shoes. I am sad we don't have more of the old school bowling alleys in the GTA.

I bring my nephews and niece here all the time - it's amazing, especially since the huge renovation. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is really good and all the facilities are top notch. Also must mention the amazing arcade (I'm the current high score in hungry hippo).

We bowled about 2.5 games using the 1 hour lane rental. So the cost per game was pretty good between us. Very nice atmosphere. Out of the places I have been to, this is one of the best and their customer service supports the nice atmosphere.

Lots of convenient parking. There's laser tag, a small arcade area, a decent size dining area and quite a bit of bowling lanes. I would recommend calling and reserving your lanes because it does get pretty busy. We ended up having to wait over 45 minutes for a lane and was only able to get it for an hour because they were very busy. They had good customer service, overall everyone was very polite and accommodating as best as they could be.

It was my first visit to the bowling place in the GTA area, surprisingly this place was more than just bowling. You can have many video games, board games and laser tag too. The staff is also super friendly. A lot of parking area. Clean washroom. Drinks and foods are also available. The only thing I find uncomfortable is bowls of bowling. Some of them are too heavy with large holes and some are good in weight but holes are too small for a medium guy thump.

Although the place was kept really well, the aisle I played in had frequent technical glitches (fourth from the right). The scoring software is ancient..they're still using animations created back in 1999.The music genre could have been a bit more generic. But on the whole I had fun!

0 out of 10 would not recommend. My friend had a party in the bowling section of the building and when we got there, Playtime had given away the PREBOOKED lanes. When they realized their mistake, instead of giving us the lane that my friend's dad had paid for, they made us wait 20 minutes to get a different lane that was broken and kept breaking throughout the whole game. The final thing was when we were getting shoes, they didn't have our sizes so we had to wear over sized shoes that kept falling off. I won't return to this place ever again and I highly suggest that you take your business somewhere else. The hassle isn't worth it.

We had a corporate event here and everyone had a really REALLY good time, people can not stop raving about it. Malisa was a great help to organize the event and all the staff were so nice when we arrived. It was clean, organized and food was great. The new laser tag area is a must, doesn't matter how old you are just make sure to wear comfortable clothing. Highly recommend for corporate events, birthday parties, etc. Thank you Playtime!!!

Went here to celebrate the 30th birthday of a family member. Had a blast. We made reservations beforehand and paid for shoe rental got there. Everything was sanitized before we got there and after we left. I thought you employees spray and clean our area once we were ready to leave in preparation for the next group. We were also able to play at the arcade and enjoyed all the games. Nice place for a family friendly celebration.

Came to celebrate my wife and my birthday. Was fairly quiet, and the staff were friendly. Needed some lighter balls, as most of them were 10+, as well as ones with larger thumb holes. Overall a good experience.

This place doesn't meet expectations. It looked fancy on pictures. Unwelcoming counter service. Not professional. I think it's an old place. Takes some time to get used the smell. Old technology too. Costs 25$ CAD per hour for a single lane. Shoe rental is 3.99 per person. I guess its reasonable I am not sure. (I don't know competitor prices)

We always have a great time when we come to Playtime Bowl. It has bowling, laser tag and an arcade. Great place to spend half a day. One not so good point is the arcade play card though. It is too easy for kids to swipe the card at a machine a few times because they are impatient... the arcade is not a place you can just hand the card to the kid and let them be. They will run through the card in a very short time if they keep swiping at a single machine, thinking the swipes did not go through. But all in all... a great place for adults and kids.

After he served everyone that came to bar AFTER me and my boyfriend and pretending to look busy when nobody was there we just got water from the side stand. One of the few bowing alleys in the city that are not in the basement of a strip mall. Has an arcade but it's a total rip off. The bowling is pretty expensive. With that said for a 10 pin bowling alley in the city it's probably one of the better ones.

Work has the family Christmas party here. If it wasn't for the bouncy castle they set up for our work event, there's really not much a 3 year old girl could be able to do here aside from pressing buttons. I give my daughter credit though, she earned 125 tickets on a perfect shot with a ball drop. My wife and I were confused as to where the ball went, but it appears she released the ball just and it dropped into the hole without bouncing. The best part is that tickets and tokens are all digital. You don't need to carry anything aside from a card.

Was a good experience overall. They were fair with playtime as we started a bit late so they let us stay back a little. Shoe rental is easy enough. They don't have lockers or anything so dont bring anything you cant keep with you. Bar was poorly managed as drinks took forever and some platters are way too overpriced for what they are. The nachos were served barely lukewarm.

It's fun bowling with your friends. But the way they take care of reservations is unbelievably stupid . Instead of making things easier to plan, they make it difficult. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advanced. When I need an extra lane (which you can only boom online), they weren't able to input an additional lane manually. I was the person who made a reservation and when I told them it was going to be a surprise birthday party, they made one of my guests pay for 20 bowling shoes. I was pretty pissed off. All I got was "how was I supposed to know?! " from the old lady there. We had fun but the way you handle business is rude. Maybe you need to reevaluate your attitude. Never planning anything here again.

This is the best place to hang around and pass time. You can try everything they have my suggestion start with bowling after bowling try all the other games. They have a restaurant so you cant take a break go out to eat just order food and eat in there. Check out laser tag definately try all the other games on the floor. I came very close to breaking the basketball record. This is one place you should really add to your play list you'll have fun to the fullest.

Had a horrible experience at the bar, there were barely any of the drinks we ordered, we ordered food as well at around 8:45, and at the time me and my group were the only ones there, we went bowling at 9:15 and didn't get any food by the time we finished at 10:30 and they claimed my order was next in line when I left!! I went around 9:30pm on a Saturday and they had the music blasting and blacklights on. A lot of flashing lights and sports screens on. The bowling systems worked well, very fun. However, despite the entrance being wheelchair accessible, the “accessibility” restroom did not have a door button. This is a ridiculous oversight and needs to be remedied.

Perfect place for a date. The arcade addition is nice. My only complaint is the food. The pizza used to be incredible, and the wings were cheaper. Please enhance the quality of your food. Other than that, I can’t complain.

I have been here many times with friends and family as it is the local bowling alley. It has gone through a major renovation and is a pretty busy place. Friday and Saturdays are very busy so you may want to book in advance and pay the extra fee. The lanes are great the seating is ample and there is a bar and grill that serves decent food. Lots of parking, great location with several restaurants options in the area.

This place was awesome! We originally planned to go to a place close to home in Richmond Hill (World Bowl) but the wait time there was ridiculous (45 min). Then we decided to go to the west end and found this spot, it was my first time there. I would suggest to go after 9 pm ish if you have a group less than 5, although it was a Saturday night we luckily got a lane in 30 min. They also have an arcade area, laser tag and food. For just a bowling night out, this place was great in terms of the vibes, wait and MUSIC! They played Hip-Hop, R&B, Top 40 while the giant screens at the end of the lanes play shark tank (my fv show haha)

The manager was just horrible (large Hispanic looking woman). From the moment we came in, it was obvious she hated her job. She had a very difficult time understanding her most basic duties as a manager, like being kind the paying guests. She was overly rude and unprofessional. Not to mention the bowling ally closed early due to electrical issues and she denied us a refund because she ‘doesn’t take attitude’. Clearly she is unstable and not best suited for a management position. The venue in general is decent, but unfortunately we will not be returning. Fingers crossed for new management.

This place has little or no care for their customer's security. They had their own staff's car burgled into a month before mine and they never cared to fix their cameras. Please be careful parking out on their lot as 2 cars were burgled and the staffs there were so nonchalant which almost makes you think they have something to do with it. I don't see myself going there to bowl or hang anymore.

Excellent venue for all age groups : kids , teens, young adults, adults, seniors, couples, friends , famiies etc . I wish they had pool tables and ping pong table also. Overall its might be bit pricey for frequent visits but the bowling alley was excellent. Nonetheless, I haven't tried the food yet .

This spot seems popular with younger adults, and for work social functions. I went with a few friends and it was fun, but I'm not sure I'd be compelled to come back. The bowling is like any other bowling alley at night, with the exception of the arcade and laser tag at the front. The latter amenities attracts a young crowd (from teens to mid twenties), and there are some families and children who bowl. The food was okay and the overall experience was fine. I would say this is like a mini Dave and Buster's, but with bowling and laser tag. My guess is the ideal demographic is for kids up to the low twenties, and families. If you're in the late 20s to mid 30s age with no kids, this may not be the spot for you.

Organized a corporate event at Playtime Bowl last night and it went off without a hitch. Everyone had a great time. The staff are incredible helpful and happy to accommodate all your needs. They even added a couple items to our menu without full charge. I hope to return soon to better my game!

It's a decent place to bowl but the set up near the lanes isn't that great for people move around. Do away with the centre table near the bowling alley sitting area or put some small tables so that people have space to move around. Good vibes and chilled out place but just need to improve the space management a bit.

I had a wonderful time going bowling with my friends and family. They had a little section that's closed of to the other lanes with 4 lanes in it in, in back that even though u have to pay a bit extra it is worth it. You get your own space and you aren't crowded by a bunch of strangers.

Visited on a Saturday night and had a blast with my group. Bowling is 45 bucks per hour which is a little pricey but the atmosphere was great with a live DJ, great music and cosmic bowling. They don't take reservations on the weekend.

Still needs some issues to fix. I can't complain about the price, average prices for bowling in the area. What they need to fix is the bowling CPU because it keeps lagging and freezing and I wasted like 1/4 of our time. The advertisement on the screen also freeze and waste time. It's just a headache. The food is okay I guess, but it's so fancy the bar and they serve you plastic utensils. Kind of a turn off also when your nestea taste like water and powder put together. I like the environment and the renovations they done, but maybe try and focus on what's really bothering the customers.

Try it and you will not regret it and you're gonna have a great family time.

I went out with my friends and spent so much more time there than i thought. Staff is friendly and theres so much to do. If youre there solely for bowling, and you know you suck like me, ask for bowling railings since its easy for the ball to get guttered!

Great place to bring your kids. Very courteous and friendly staff greeted us when we arrived. They were all helpful in times we needed assistance on anything.Their arcade gaming machines are kept well sanitized by an assigned crew very often throughout the day to maintain the safetyness of each person who would be using them. Lots of different activities for the family. They also have lasertag which i didnt really expected. Snacks and drinks are also available in this place. Prices are competetive. Definitely, the kids loved the place and wants to come back often.

Most of the place is bowling and a bar. Some decent area is dedicated for laser tag and a children's arcade (about 1/4 of something at a chuck e cheese) Laser tag is quite decent. My first time doing laser tag.

A Great Family Environment. Playtime offers variety Bowling - Leagues, Groups, Individuals, Adults & Children Birthday Parties. Playtime children's parties have a large convenient area that offers a variety of Arcade games & Lazer tag. Great place with lots to do. They have bowling, Lazer tag and an arcade. We did not go bowling but enjoyed the other two. The Lazer tag room is very well done and we had a blast. Was about 10 $ a person for Lazer tag.

I had my birthday party here. My guests and I had a great time. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I reserved/prepaid for 3 lanes for 3 hours and the only thing I wasn't a fan of was that I had to also prepay for the shoe rentals as well, so my guests couldn't rent and pay for their own by themselves. Which was a bit of pain because I had to keep track of the tickets and hand them out, and also because it seemed like and unnessary expense for me. Otherwise, I was very happy with everything.

We had a terrible experience. Made a reservation online at 9:00pm and was given the lanes until 9:40pm. The staff or management didn’t even apologize for not been organized. We also wanted extra shoes and they didn’t want to accommodate our needs after making us wait for 40 minutes without any explanation. This location is really disorganized. If you plan to go with a large party you are not going to have a good time. The staff is not friendly at all and doesn’t know how to manage large parties.

My experience at this establishment was very bad to say the least. We can in and booked 2 lanes for bowling. They notified us that is will be around 30 minute wait. After waiting 45 minutes, u ask them how long the wait will be they said that they gave our lanes to someone else and our wait will now be 1 hr with no sort of discount or any type of thing to say there are sorry. Very bad service and people that work there. Not professional at all. Do not go there.

So I played a lot of arcade machines and collected lot of points to get prizes. There was a man looking for it but he go when we choose what to get and he never come back until we told the bowling person to call him we waited there for 30 minutes and while my friend showed the thing that she wants the man go again and he came after 10 minutes then we were first in line but he get someone else instead of us and after him he take too long for a woman to buy credits. I was so disappointed because last time I come there there was another person and he did things quickly and never go away like the new one

Amazing place to come for a fun night!!! Sooo many great arcade games... huge/fun/crazy/futuristic .. there is a 2 player game of Virtual reality motorbike racing which was incredible..!!! The bike moves up and down and around while you are wearing your headgear and the game looks so real... we felt a little motion sickness after playing it... a very fun and intense game to play with someone.. or by yourself ! We played bowling and had some flatbread and fries and drinks.. it was a great last night in Toronto with friends.

Service people are super ignorant. By the time we got our food it was cold. My son dropped a fully loaded playing card for the arcades in one of the cracks of a machine. I nicely asked a worker and he said sorry we can’t open the machines. I said but you just sold it to me and we got to play 1 game he said sorry nothing I can do and walked away . At this point we were so stressed out have 2 young kids crying for games we just left! Super expensive !!! Super slow service!!!! Super bad service!!! Super rude employees!! If I could put 0 I would !!! Wasn’t there a shooting inside ??? Would you feel safe I wouldn’t!! Shut it down !

I get there at 9pm to find out that that rate is offered starting on January 6...I planned my night around this to be mislead. Train your staff properly so they don’t give false information!

With a large group, the staff said it'd be better to pay for VIP section so that you can get served by your personal server. The server maybe came twice, and we ended up walking back and forth from our lanes to the bar. This place looks cool, but is overpriced and bad service. Was expecting more from these guys.

This place was great, I really enjoyed that they had couches there instead of those ugly plastic chairs at the bowling lanes ????. The arcade had great games and enjoyed that as well. The only thing I wasn’t happy with is that they didn’t have servers and their food wasn’t that great. I didn’t get to check out the laser tag but I guess I will leave that for next time as I will be going back.

Overall experience was great! Came with a groupon. Ordered some drinks and chicken wings and French fries and nachos. All the food was generally fresh and made to order. Had a lot of fun bowling. No major issues - beer was a big warm off the tap for some reason but that was it! Would come again if in the area for sure.

Your experience can be greatly different depending on the staff you encounter on your visit. I've been here a few times with my friends. We were a large group of about 10 people and according to the rules we'd need two lanes. So me and my friend went to the counter to book 2 lanes but the staff refused to do so by saying that not all people in our group were there and they won't reserve lanes without all of us there. It was peak time so we wanted to reserve the lanes which were side by side so we could enjoy together as a group. It was a very weird situation and frustrating to be in. This had never happened on my previous visits. Still an amazing place to hang out with friends and they have a nachos platter which is nice!

Good place for bowling. There are some other arcade games there. Good place for family outing. You might have to wait for an hour and a two before having a line at the bowling court. Get an appointment for the bowling line as soon as you reach the place if you want to play. I am not sure if they have any phone reservation.

The prices on the menu don't match what you get. Quality of food needs improvement. The staff lack professionalism and are disorganized. Unwilling to listen and speak over costumers or passively call them a liar by saying "no ma'am, you're wrong" but don't follow up with the correction. Took my family here a couple of times during the weekday. Kids love it. All lanes have bumpers. Too bad they're doing major renovations in the middle of summer, but they're putting in Laser Tag and some more stuff. Can't wait to see what it would look like. The Food area looks really nice but is not available as yet. Can't wait to try that out as well. Bowling was fun. Place was clean and there is always helpful staff around. Will go back here often. Signed up for Kids bowl free program and paid under $30 for 4 Adults to have 2 free games every day for the whole summer, we just had to pay for shoe rentals.

We held out daughters 8th birthday party a few days ago at Playtime bowl and it was amazing. The girls dressed in white so that they glowed while bowling, and we decorated with white balloons. Playtime provided the food: pizza, chips with guacamole, a candy station and a wonderful fruit platter that the kids really loved! The venue was clean, organized and the staff were very helpful. Thank you Playtime for a great time. My daughter was thrilled!!

Me and my friends visited this Bowling place for the first time on Monday sept 14th. Honestly the reviews weren't bad so we decided to try it out. Staff was very rude to us. Especially the guy who works at the bar. But for some reason he was the one who started arguing with us about the " mask law " at this location. So basically he was saying that while we play bowling we MUST wear a mask. But if we are buying food or drinks from them we can take it off. He was showing his attitude and wasn't nice at all. Like what?.. The computer with the points wasn't working properly for most of time. Lady tried to fix it but it didn't help. So the points were all messed up and going to the wrong person's. Definitely not coming back to this place.

Nice place and helpful staff, the machines are a little bit old, and sometimes (regularly on weekends and holidays) the staff get a little bit overrun at times and it can be hard to get help (not their fault though). Overall it's a nice place to go bowling and I will likely be coming here again in the future. Though maybe they could do something to adjust the layout around where you get the shoes?

You can get here by bus on Dufferin or drive there, there is lots of parking so don't worry. One thing I don't like is the price. This place is wonderful to enjoy a few hours of entertainment. It offers a nice variety of activities for the entire family: bowling, laser quest, arcade, sports bar with comfort foods, and birthday rooms. I went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday in the laser quest area. This was my third experience in a laser quest establishment, without a doubt, he most enjoyable one. Children were having fun during the whole time and prices were affordable for the group incluiding drinks, pizza, room, 3 laser quest adventures, and arcade cards. For next time, I am considering the VIP bowling, drinks and foods, for adults.

I had came here on a Saturday around 8 p.m. The arcade and bowling was extremely fun. Highly appreciate the security guards doing their job effectively, made me feel very comfortable and safe while I was out with friends for the night. Staff, service, and security guard were welcoming and nice. I had no worry knowing that there were guards there to keep everything safe and under control. The food was amazing and fast. Background music and lights, TV screens, couches made the whole vibe very enjoyable. Highly recommend coming here, very safe and welcoming environment.

I went there with a group of people with special needs. The community usually gives our non-profit a discount. They managed 50% off shoes. The place was nice inside. But establishment was not very accomodating. There was a bowling league there and they charged one of our participants with wanting to steal their bowling balls...???? it didnt happen and wouldn't have. There was a participant of ours that was doing a bit of meandering perambulation????. Most ppl r cool with it. The establishment came down on us for it which usually is not the case with most other places we frequent. Other patrons were warm and accommodating as we r used to. ????????❤ Bowling alleys were decent and the midway was nice, empty, and inviting. Parking was kinda tight but they provided us with handicapped parking which was awesome.

Great venue with good vibes. Clean. Went for a birthday bowling party and even though I do not bowl, I found the experience very enjoyable. The lane attendant on shift was delightful and accommodating - I thought we had a VIP lane (we did not) with her attentiveness and punctuality. Beers were a little pricey but that's Toronto for you. Had trouble finding sub-12lb balls, which reduced participation, but to be expected on a busy night I guess.

Just went to the arcade with my daughter and while they have a lot of newer games, some of the games are rigged. The most obvious, the claw game with point cards as a prizes: the claw lowers to the bottom of the machine, then lifts a half inch before closing. Yes, that means the machine has been set up so that it never pays out.

Amazing food; bowling tracks behaved a bit faulty at times, the laser tag was the BEST part. Their laser tags were fine and working, never missed a shot. The only minus with it was you need to use BOTH the hands to hold it, can't shoot with one hand.

An extremely rude middle aged Asian lady that was taking reservations at the front desk ruined our night out. She let a guy cut in front of us and didn’t bother saying anything. When we asked her for the wait time she couldn’t even bothered looking at us and tried to dismiss us rudely as if we were bothering her by asking questions. Went here for a good deal from Groupon. However, the workers were not attentive and were not welcoming. They were really rude. Not really spacious seats for groups of 6 for the bowling area. The pins kept jamming up at the back so the time it took to fix the problem also took time off our purchased time. We told one of the workers and asked if we could have an extra 5-10 minutes, he instead replied with hostility and asked "Are you playing by the hour? You're playing with discount so it's not a problem". This place should have better training on customer service.

A 3yo that was part of my party had a little accident on her way to the bathroom because she was having so much fun she didn't want to go to the bathroom. Fortunately it was just in the inside of the door of the family bathroom but I was so impressed with how kindly and quickly they took care of it. Recently visited this place with a few friends & we spent our time bowling & playing laser tag. They have an open space here for many different things. Arcade games, family interactive games, a bar. All around very well put together. I highly recommend playing the laser tag as it is not only good exercise but very fun. $10 for one game (20-30 mins) or $15 for two games with VARIOUS game modes just ask the person running the room.

Food price is fair and tastes not bad, a double stacked burger and fries costs me only $15 which is pretty reasonable. Cons: all the service staff I encountered have a disappointing service attitude, especially the bartender man is considered rude and impolite to customers, it strongly worsen our customer experience here. The total price for 2-hour bowling includes shoes rental (6 ppl) is around $200 which is not cheap but kinda acceptable. Other: laser tag is just ok/average overall in terms of price and experience. Arcade machines are pretty up-to-date. Recommended. Repeat: Maybe, only if the service improves.

I have been here many times with friends and family as it is the local bowling alley. It has gone through a major renovation and is a pretty busy place. Friday and Saturdays are very busy so you may want to book in advance and pay the extra fee. The lanes are great the seating is ample and there is a bar and grill that serves decent food. We went bowling at this spot a few days ago. It was a nice and friendly environment. We enjoyed bowling there but the balls were exceptionally greasy and had different weights associated to them, as a novice player this is not something I was prepared for so if you’re like me, pick a weight you’re comfortable with and stick to it the entire time. The arcade was fun as well but it was small and some of the equipments didnt work. Their staff were moody and unfriendly.

We were a group of 10 people looking to get two bowling lines and they made us wait for legit 2 hours. If it wasn't because we had weed we would have been far gone. One of the lines would always get stuck at the same part, and would not count some of the points of that player. The bartenders were messy and not really attentive, had to wait 10min for one of them to take my order of mojito to tell me they ran out of "mojito mix" on a Saturday night! There's not much of a variety of drinks either. Had some munchies and beers. I had a good time but only because I wanted to, and my friends made my birthday special, staff didn't.

It is great to have a place to enjoy bowling, play arcade and have a beer, even if you have to pay the premium. What is not acceptable is the lack of maintenance on the machines and the poor customer service. If management ever read this, please update the faulty bowling screens and please talk to the servers at the restaurant so they apply common sense. I spend over $200 in a day with my family there only to be treated with a “that’s an extra dollar” when I asked for another sauce for my 2lb wings (they brought only one cup half way, I never asked the sauce to be on the side), which he never brought anyways. You can do better, until then I’ll bring my family somewhere else.

Pretty good service. The bowling facilities are good. Hey we are bowling people but with the guards my kids at won't put the ball to the ditch and have fun. Laser tag is there and the price is $15 for 2 games, but forgot how long it is. Don't worry long enough to make you sweat (which already make me exhausted and sweat), and which is much cheaper than laser quest but with 1 level only which is about half size of a laser quest but still quite fun with the size with around 6 to 8 ppl. I guess 12 will be max which it is quite crowded. Equipment and facilities are quite new. There are some new arcades but not a lot of games. Well, still made you play for an hour and have lots of fun.

Unfortunately, the individual we planned our son's birthday party with did not inform us of how much food was included so we ended up ordering pizza not realizing that 2 pizzas were included as part of the package . We also ordered extra drinks because we were not informed that the drinks were unlimited...the cards provided to the kids to play the games were only loaded with $5.00 worth which allowed basically 2 games each child...again, another detail we were not informed of...on a plus side, the employee by the name of Salma was fantastic! If we ever do decide to return, it would be because of her!

We were told we could bowl until 11pm when they close. Promptly at 11:00pm all lanes and lights were shut off as we were on the 10th frame. Instead of allowing us to finish and enjoy out stay they would not allow us to throw our last 6 balls. We went from having a great time to being incredibly annoyed and feeling like an inconvenience to staff. I hope this 1 star review was worth shaving those 5 minutes off your staff labour.

This place sucks! Don't go as a big group! They will cut off whole group if you go up to the bar to often. I was told they won't serve whole group cause to many ppl came up. And as a bowling alley they suck. Few lanes available so you have no choice but to wait for a lane to come up. And the food served was sub par. Went there on a Wednesday evening with my friends. The food was ok and the portion was enough. However, we went there for bowling but our lane kept having problems that we needed to restart 2 times. Like the pins wouldn’t get updated for the next person that it took the fun out of our experience. In addition the bowling balls seemed not standard, the holes on some of them were too small and not comfortable.

Playtime Puts Profit Over People. First time client and visiting with family from out of town. Placed an order for a platter of 12 “Nashville sliders” about halfway through the hour. By the time the order came, we were famished. We each had a slider and realized quickly that they were much too hot. We left the remaining burgers on the platter and spoke to front desk who said that “Nashville” was indicative of “spicy” and apologized for the inconvenience but said we needed to speak to the cook. We explained to front desk and the cook that we couldn’t really eat the sliders as they were and that someone in our family was medically unable to eat spicy food. We asked whether we could be provided with just 2 complimentary non-spicy sliders for this individual and suggested, for the welfare of future customers, that the menu be modified to explicitly mention that “Nashville” sliders are spicy as some folks may not make this association. The front desk and cook were sympathetic, but ultimately said they had to speak to the manager. The feedback from the manager was essentially, no, you cannot get 2 complimentary sliders, and no, since our alternate platter of non-spicy chicken sliders come as a set of 12 for $50, we cannot make a half-order for you. Nashville means spicy and even if you were unaware of this, you should have only eaten 1 slider before realizing they were too spicy.” So we should have split a 3” slider 6 ways? I understand that this is a place of business, and perhaps the line was grey, but I mean come on. When all was said and done, some of us reluctantly ate a couple more sliders before throwing out the rest and some of us left hungry. What we all had in common was leaving with the feeling of being cheated by a penny-pinching manager who wasn’t willing to compromise. Take your business elsewhere.

The experience at Playtime Bowl was exquisite, the games really added casual ambience to our afternoon. We had a special request of vegetarian food and we were greatly satisfied by their Chef Clency who prepared our dishes with passion and heart. Our family who were visiting us from far away were very pleased by the service. In all, Playtime Bowl Entertainment is a great place to have quality family time, we will definitely be visiting again.

Do NOT book a party/event at this place! I just finished an event where the co-ordinator emphasized the VIP room. We were put into the VIP lanes (lanes separated by a wall) from the other bowlers but did not have enough people (or paid enough) to get the entire room. This was not explained over the phone or via email until we got to the venue and found out that we only paid for 4 lanes. Events are charged a fee of 15% on top of EVERYTHING for a host (who could not take additional orders). Pizzas cost over $30 each where you could get one at Pizza Pizza for $9. You can save 30-35% if you book the regular lanes and buy the food from the concession stand. All in all, a good time was had by all but I would definitely NOT book another event at this location.

Lots of fun playing laser tag (two games for 17$). Went as a group of 16. We all ordered food/drinks. Service was ridiculously slow for a Wed evening (8pm) - we gave them a heads up of our arrival. Food was good (nice salads, good fries - not great fries). My Philly steak was ok. Happy that they allowed us to bring our own cake which they supplied the paper plates and forks. Service was good. Parking was very tight. Location was very clean including the ladies bathroom.

Playtime Bowl is a great place to go with your friends or family, they have bowling, laser tag and a multitude of arcade games. We made a reservation online for bowling however, the system didn’t allow us to book any regular lanes for whatever reason and so we had to book a VIP lane instead. I’m glad it did as the VIP lanes are secluded behind a divider, separate from the regular lanes. The bowling alley also gets incredibly busy so it was nice to have some privacy and more room to ourselves. Although you can always choose to walk-in, with a booking you don’t have to wait for a lane to free up. While there is a $5 administration fee to book online, it’s worth the peace of mind on a busy weekend. Our entire experience went smoothly and was very enjoyable. Shoe rental is mandatory and is $5 each. One of the employees, Jay was very kind and humble and showed us to our lane. We also opted for a Nachos Family Platter, which comes with onion rings and fries. Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful. The platter is huge and is large enough to feed more than 10 people. The fries and onions rings were perfectly crispy and the nachos were delicious. I’d definitely recommend buying the platter if you’re visiting as a group, at the price of $30 you really get the best bang for your buck. Overall, Playtime is one of the more premium bowling alleys but they really do deliver on all levels.

Horrible service. Very slow service, 1 server who worked the entire place.. I was there on a Wednesday night but how does management hire 1 server to work the VIP Of bowling section, the bars, the food section and the rest of this place. It was so busy in there. After the 8 of us played the the VIP bowling, we sat in the restaurant section more then 30 minutes waiting for a server, empty bars looking for a bartender for drinks asking the bowling shoes Department for a server numerous times. No sight of any servers over 30 minutes, we could had just served ourselves at the bar. And the best part is how the management comes out yells at the customers, when there is complaints of slow service. Knowing the place was very busy why didn’t the manager come help out and help this one poor server working. The whole 30 minutes I sat there as my children was playing at the arcades I saw people come in sit at the tables, waiting for a drink at the bar with no bartender and leave because there was no one attending. That was my first time and last time there.

Great bowling alley in Toronto especially their all-you-can bowl special from 9PM to 12. They recently went through renovation so their lanes are nice and tidy. Get your shoes at the front desk, find the right size bowling ball and go to town. Definitely my go-to place if you want to spend a few hours with your friends, aiming for strikes and avoiding gutter balls.

This goes back to a year ago: Never had much issue with playtime bowl until the machine scratched up my ball. The staff there was very helpful, saying that they will help me get it repaired, but usually, their policy is that it's up to my discretion. Unfortunately, their proshop they usually deal with is Rodney's Pro Shop, which was way too far for me so I had to go back to the Pro Shop I usually deal with. With that said, I had noted to them to keep their machines well maintained. I might return back to bowl there, but I don't know what sorta condition the machine and lanes are in.

Came here for a work related fun day with our team. Private bowling in the back where we were with black lights, fun time. Food was on par with what you would expect from a bowling/arcade place, nothing too special but still hit the spot. Overall a fun place to go with friends, family, or even a little work related get together like us.

My husband coaches a soccer team. He decided to take the team out because they deserved it. We visited on Saturday September 26. The place is like a mini dave and busters. It is a little pricey! Social distancing is alright; could have been a little stricter given that there was so many people in the building and the number on covid cases are high. Front desk is a very congested spot. No social distancing. We were disappointed that there wasn’t a whole pizza option on the menu and we had to serve 8 hungry teenage boys. Our server Daisy gave us a couple of platter options. She recommended the big mac platter and meatlover flatbread. It was delicious, again pricey!!! But it wasn’t enough for our group. We decided to order more food; the nugget platter and a couple of the flatbreads. Those hit the spot! Cons: The service is a little slow but it was because there was only one server working in the lanes. I think the owner needs to hire more staff because the poor girl is running the food, cleaning the table and taking orders. -Their food options are good for small groups but not for a bigger group -The lanes were faulty and the scores were messed up. I hope they invest on getting these fixed because it was annoying Overall, the place is ok, the staffs were pleasant. We will definitely come back and try laser tag when things get better with COVID cases.

Update to their reply In my opinion, making prior reservations on food items on the menu is not sensible. There are many empty seats, however customers are not served. This means that we, and many others, needed to walk around to find staff so that we could ask them for assistance. The cashiers (who are also bar attendants) also served whoever could get their attention, rather than forming a queue. This meant that many people waited for +10 minutes and eventually had to wave their hands or call out to have their orders placed. Moreover, our three food items each came 30 minutes apart and this didn't make sense as the orders were regular fries, a nacho plate, and tacos. There are no complaints on the food quality or portions. Next time, we will consider reserving bowling lanes online as the timer started on purchase rather than when we got to our lane. We had lost time waiting to change shoes, finding our lane (as they're not labelled other than clicking into the machine) and setting up. Thank you for the reply. -Initial comment, "poor management, expect 1hr lines per event, and $20 per person for bowling" -Their reply, "Hi Alena - Thanks for your review. Saturday evenings in the winter are the busiest time of the week for us. In order to avoid any waiting time an option is to make an advance reservation through our website. We go there at least once a month, had no problems... however back in November we went for laser tag and purchased 2 games. For each game they give you a different card (we’re a group of 6) so we each had 2 cards. We were tired to play 2 games so we only played one. We asked the worker if we could use the card at another time and she said there was no expiration date so we could come back anytime. Today... February 2018 we all came to play laser tag... and one of us presented the laser tag card to one of the workers there laughed at us and took the card from our hands (She was EXTREMELY disrespectful...where’s the customer first policy????) they called the manager. He was not understanding. We explained the story and the problem and he insinuated that we were lying...(Again! Customer first policy????) And he said that you can’t use the card at another time (staff not well trained).. at the end He decided that we could use our laser tag game... (as if he was being nice with us... We paid for this...) Hopefully the owner will review its staff and management. Out of ALL Learn how to put CUSTOMERS FIRST!!!!!!!!!

I was in the Glow in the dark section and they played some killer rap the majority of it being new. That combined with my strikes made it a fantastic evening. Sunday - Wednesday after 10 you can play for as long as you want for like $10 per lane. That's a sweet deal, as it was near $60 bucks to play per hour. If it's just two people playing an hour should be more than enough to get your muscles sore for the next couple days. Good times.

We had great time at Playtime Bowl & Entertainment. The staff was courteous, polite and friendly. This place offers bowling, laser tag and arcade games. Apart from the games, they have a lot of options for food. Give it a try and I can assure that you will love it!

Celebrated company Christmas Event and it went awesome! Cassandra was very helpful and offered us the best option ever. We got our private room with 8 lanes, couches, nice background music, lights, TV screens. She was very responsive and immediately answered all the questions I had. $45 + shoe rental for 1 hour bowling is steep but pretty fun. Arcade was a complete rip off. We had 375 tickets from the games, and we wanted to two prizes totaling 380 and they refused to give it to us. After checking out, they also don't let you trade in your prize even if you spend more money and get additional tickets. Decent place. Not worth coming back more than twice.

Nice bowling alley located in an Industrial area of the city, close to Yorkdale Mall. Clean and modern, with arcade games at the front and laser tag as well. It's licensed and serves food. The workers, though helpful, were a little unfriendly, but that didn't really spoil anything. Was very busy when we went. Best to reserve a lane ahead of time.

Over priced, crowded and terrible service. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation (which I pre-paid online, DO NOT DO THIS). There was about 6 people behind the bowling area desk. None of the people seemed to be able to use there own computers to view my reservation (they were arguing and extremely confused). They ended up moving my group three different times to different bowling lanes. This all happened in a very loud and crowded area and took about 30 minutes before we were seated and ready to play. Each blowing lane has a single row of seats, the walking area is too narrow for people to sit and people to walk past them, so you have to awkwardly step over people legs. If a group is in the lane beside you, they will be constantly in your space. I pre-paid almost $200 for three hours and left after 30 minutes of bowling. Non- of my money was refunded to me. This was by far the worst bowling experience I have ever had. Brutal.

Date of visit: January 25th, 2020 A nice facility. Faulty lane. Service needs improvement. A little pricey. We reserved our VIP lanes in advance, showed up early as suggested. The lanes were available but they didn't drop the pins until 20 minutes after start time. We also asked if we could purchase a additional Lane and were told that all VIP lanes were booked. There were at least 2 lanes beside us that were not in use the entire time we were there. I also ordered a family nacho platter when we arrived and a couple of pitchers of water. Our food only showed up in the last 10 minutes of our game. We never received our pitchers of water. There was a few times where the game skipped players turns. This has one of my son in tears, as it kept happening on his turn. The line for the desk is a very congested spot, with limited room to get around. It was hard to decipher which area to line up for guest services. I tried a few times to talk to management but they were overwhelmed. There were at least 4 people in front of me with similar complaints. Since I am visiting family in Toronto from out of town, I gave up trying to address the issues we experienced at PlayTime Bowl & Entertainment. I should however mention that most staff there were pleasant and professional. It was very busy when we were there. I just felt the price I paid didn't warrant the service we received. I'm not sure I will come back. This may be a once in a lifetime experience.

I took my kids there today, March 15 between 12-2:30. I spent almost 60 dollars for food and bowling, which my kids enjoyed very much. Then afterwards they wanted to try out the arcade, so I purchased 2 $10 cards. Well, one of the machines wasn't working, so I mentioned it to the girl (Audrey) who works there. She scanned my son's card to double check the game. So now my son was down 8 credits. Then she repeatedly mentioned how her manager was in a meeting and how she was the only one to reimburse the 8 credits. Audrey mentioned it to the other girls behind the cash but all of them said there was nothing they could do. As I told them I wasn't going anywhere, they finally got a lady from the bowling section who then went to get the manager. After waiting for at least 10min, if not longer, the manager came out without even apologizing for the inconvenience, as though it was my fault. She put in her code and then leaves again with no acknowledgement. So we continue playing the games and my daughter who had 1 credit left and my son who had 3, could not combine their credits to play one game together. When I went to ask Audrey, she said I'd have to wait for her manager again. Are you kidding me???? The problem here isn't really with these 3 girls (although reading a book and putting cream on seems unprofessional) but with their manager Melissa who has not given them any direction as to what to do in this type of situation. So a customer is suppose to waste their time and money because there's no one around who knows what to do. This is truly unacceptable!!! I didn't even bother waiting around and just left my 2 cards with 4 credits there. Very annoyed, Cathy

I have not been here in a long time and was very pleased with the change. Staff was helpful. Arcade is not super huge but enough for kids and adults alike. I love that the bat ares is close enough and far enough from arcade n bowling areas! Great spot for a nice fun date or just an outing with the kids .

January 6 2018 I went to bowl and enjoy a good night with my friends. Waited over an hour for a lane, was called only to find out my lane wasn't ready and had to continue waiting for another 37 minutes. We ordered nachos and the specialty drinks. The nachos were pretty much chip crumbs with barely any cheese. My drink was long island ice tea. First it was made with coca cola not ice tea so therefore tasting like rum and coke. Overall my experience was garbage and I don't know if I'll return anytime soon.

This was a surprisingly fun time for me. I haven't gone bowling since my early teens for friend's birthday parties, and playtime bowl made my first time back incredible. The place is completely renovated and looks fantastic. The arcade is a great bit of fun while you wait for your lanes, and serving iced tea by the pitcher is incredible. I highly recommend this place.

Going here is fun competing with your friends. They do have a VIP Place where you could have two lanes of bowling alley. Im front they have arcades and when you would like to get a drink, you need to ask the security for a tag so that you could buy a liqour. The price is not very cheap but if you have a large group then it will be cheaper.

Had to tell adults on the next lane to keep off our boards, so maybe a notice of etiquette would be good, so only the people whose turn it is, is on the lane, while everyone else stays where the seats and score panel are.

Bowling is not something I do on the regular and find it boring sometimes but checking out this new spot Playtime bowl was great! I hardly new how to knock down all my pins at first but a friendly staff member took the time out to show me some good tricks on how to score which I thought was fun, and the atmosphere was full of so much vibes, friendly people all around and the food was so yummy! to me it was money and time well spent next Friday my girls and I will be there again :) it was Turnt-up!!

Went there last Sunday to celebrate our sons bday. Booked lanes online in advanced. They mentioned to arrive early to register and get shoes. Went early but the front was unorganized and asked us to comeback. The place was busy, we understood. When they brought us to our lanes. There were no chairs to seat. we were more than 12 people, most kids. The manager gave us seats for 6 on one lane only. so we had to get our own seats from the lane beside us which was setup for a large party our size. You would think booking in advance would help them plan it out better. Kids had fun. Oh yeah and no table service and the bar service, none. Took 30mins of waiting to order pitchers.

I hosted a company function at Playtime Bowl over a period of 5 days for 250 people. We rented the VIP lanes and had a fantastic time. The venue was amazing! The food that our team ordered was spectacular. I hadn't been here since the renovation and can honestly say the space looks and feels great. It is spacious, modern and really clean. I had the pleasure of working with Malisa who was such a tremendous help and so accommodating with our ever changing needs. Highly recommend bowling to anyone looking for a fun team event! We had a blast.

PLAYTIME just wants PROFIT! I don't even feel like giving 1 star!!!. Specially to the food bar.!! It is so expensive and on the top of that they will rip you will such less portions and it's tasteless!! Horrible and disgusting. I felt like I just poured my $$ to water ... Never eat anything there! And they don't even let you bring outside food and drink! And... When it comes to bowling, they will show you the deals for unlimited bowling but in reality, it's not unlimited.they keep taking people on the regular ticket price and will put you in wait list and then keep stretching the wait time forever. Very cheap! So customers please beware....!!!!!!

Our law firm used Playtime Bowl to host a corporate event with one of our clients and was pleasantly surprised at just how much fun everyone had. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. They were very prompt at cleaning up the VIP lanes from the other group that had reserved the space before us and was able to answer any questions that we had. There was a slight technical issue with the bowling lanes, but things were quickly solved by staff. There was also a lack of wine available at the bar when we arrived (open bar for the event) but the manager quickly resolved the issue and went and got some more. Everything went very smoothly and I am incredibly impressed with how great everyone was at making our event such a success. The facility was newly renovated and very modern. We will definitely be returning.

We had our Holiday Party at Playtime bowl this past Friday and had a wonderful time. We booked in advance and had 20 people. We ordered platters ahead of time and played for 3 hours, it was one of the best parties we have had in the last 20 years. The staff has such a great time, the services was great, the place is clean and very upscale. We had our own little place in the back so it was private and food was served as we bowled. Would recommend this place for any party and we will be back! The music that was playing was fun and funky, the hostess Nina got us organized very quickly, and the service was impeccable. Everyone had fun talking, playing, laughing and having a good time. When our bowling time was done, they didn't rush us out, we took our time and were able to leave when we wanted to. There is a bar at the front that you can hang out at after bowling if you don't to leave right away. It was such a fun venue for good time, good food and good laughs, the laughs were due to the lack of skills we had in bowling...:) Thank you Malisa for helping set up our party, we look forward to coming back!

We had a company function - such a great time. Food was great, atmosphere was great and service was excellent. I would definitely book another function and refer anyone else considering to here!.

The owner has squeezed in too many lanes in the available amount of space because of which the seating area for the players is highly inadequate. Plus the bowling software is way back from 1999. Our scoring went haywire in the middle of our 5th game because of software malfunction. We pressed the service button on the console but there was noone to assist us. All in all a mixed experience. I have had better bowling experiences.

The hostesses at bowling alley weren't really helpful when it came to resolving issues regarding the lane/system errors. You had to repeat what you said to them a few times before they actually did something. The scoring system also had malfunctioned throughout the time we were there and scores weren't registered correctly. The venue is nice with the bowling alley and the games though.
