Had a good time with friends and family. They weren't terribly busy when we were there, so they catered to us a little more than usual. Expect cafeteria quality food. Coffee absolutely sucked. But you go here to bowl, not buy coffee, so my mistake. ;-)

I had a very good experience with Leisure Lanes and will definitely recommend them in the future for not only parties but a fun day out. I had booked a birthday party for my 5 year old daughter and the staff were helpful from the time I placed my first call to inquire about a booking through to the end of the party. Prices are very affordable and will keep my coming back. I think it helps that it's a family run business as the staff take pride in their work. Thank you Leisure Lanes for making my little girls party a successful one. Looking forward to coming back for a game or two.

Had my 8th year olds birthday party at Leisure Lanes over the weekend and all I can say is: IT WAS GREAT! LL took care of everything! All I had to do was bring the cake and watch over the group of 12 kids ????????. The age group was between 4 and 14 years old and ALL of them had a blast! Definitely hitting up LL again! Not just for bday parties but regular family bowling as well!!

Super weird they don't accept debit or credit for purchasing. The people behind the counter, for lack of better words, stated "ya so?.. Go spend another 3.50 at our atm". Luckily the bowling was fun and the bartender was attentive.

Classic bowling alley, lots of lanes, modern touch screen interface for entering info and getting stats on consecutive games. Any issues with the equipment were quickly dealt with by staff. Good selection at the food bar, and good prices., Afternoon pricing for bowling and shoes very affordable.

Rock and bowl is a lot of fun - lights go down, blacklight comes on, music starts pumpin, it's a great time. Can't say the same about my bowling ???? highly recommended although you may have an issue with pins getting caught or something else but they are very quick to help

Decent location right off the highway, but the old lady at the cashier booth is too rigid in her policies and not that friendly. Bowling facility is clean and bright, but is dated in styling decor. Also the young staff watch you as you bowl which I found to be annoying. Was a group of two adults and 4 kids.

Ryan the manager is so rude and was doing discrimination with 12 of us. The nest lane was without mask and they were taking the balls from other lanes and still nothing was told to them. But even if our lane was stopped cause of technical problems still he didn't add time to our game. And shouting on us. Needs to learn humanity and manners.

Make sure to bring cash, as their ATM will not be in order sometimes. I always have a great time here! The staff is very nice and help you whenever you need them to. The place and the lanes is well kept. Their food selection is really small but there are nearby restaurants that you can go as bowling is this place's specialty. They have a few arcade machines that you can play on if you are waiting for a lane.

I bowl here on a regular basis in a league. I love coming here because it's such a great atmosphere and the staff are always helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Leisure lanes to anybody. It really is a community stitch in the fabric that is Oshawa/Whitby.

The atmosphere at Leisure Lanes was great. There are lots of lanes. Thursday night bowling starting at 9pm is $5.00. I had the fries and gravy which was good, the menu had a great variety of fast food options. There is a sports bar in the complex. Technology is great here, take a selfie and communicate through text on your score board tablet with other lanes, hook up to your fb to share your score with your friends.

Inexpensive, ‘Deal Nights’, many lanes, food and drink, pool table, Fuse Ball, ++, Electronic machine for score keeping, good tunes, lots of parking (side and back of building ). Went to Leisure Lanes for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend and his family. Very fun and active place. Lots of bowling lanes, a bar, and a few fun little games like a crane machine and foosball table. Wish we had gone on Thursdays because of their deal, but still very fun. Just be prepared for a wait. We waited about 30-40 minutes for a lane to be ready for us. We also had a bit of troubles with the lane not working, however the staff came to help and made sure it wouldn't happen again

This was the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. If I could, I would'nt have even given this a star. The agents were extremely rude and needs to learn how to deal with the public. They were dismissive as if we were not paying $200. One agent walked off when my friend was speaking to her; the older lady employee dismissed her by saying, "whatever" while my friend was still talking. Another agent who was standing behind her like a big bull started raising her voice and had the nerve to use a foul language, using the word Bit** , at my friend. This is the worst place to go. I give this a ( -0 out of 10). They burnt the pizza, the cheese was dried out and they left it out in the open without even calling us over to eat. They had my child's birthday cake and never gave it back. They really messed up my kids birthday! This was a big birthday cake that my child did not get to see, taste or sing happy birthday and blow out the candles too. Totally disgusted!

My dad used to bowl league here been coming since I was 10 years old. Staff are incredibly rude. 14 year old kids with flash lights in the parking lot watching who comes and goes. Spend your money elsewhere and drive the 20mins to Toronto.

We came here with Friends for bowling and had a great time. Special mention the staff was very friendly and welcoming. All our vaccine proofs were throughly checked and all equipment were sanitized with detail. Very impressed to see the team following these meticulously. Felt safe. Horrible customer service. Employees love to argue with paying customers, over shoes, bumpers, you name it. If you're not happy working there, then get another job and stop harassing customers who intend to have a good time with their kids. I will never return to this place. One male employee chose to argue about everything, after apparently disrupting his texting time. What is the owner thinking leaving a manager to train a person who has no respect for their customers. It's a nice bowling alley however I went with some co-workers and they just about grabbed the money from me when we went to the front desk, rushing our group to give them their sizes even though we were the only ones in line. They also got upset when one of us didn't fit into the shoes and asked for a different size. Our group were mostly 20+ aged however we had two 18 year olds who were not drinking obviously, we were ID'd by a bartender or manager, she wrote Ts on our hands and went away. We then had a security guard stand by our table and watch us for the entire night to make sure those two people didn't drink. Then about 5 ins after we had a blonde security guard come up to us and and ask for our IDs again, even though we had the letters from the other person on our hands. And then she watched us for some time. They seem to have an issue with their staff, they are very un-organized and rude. A few of the other customers were harassing the girls we were with and the security who was watching us didn't seem to care. One guy even said he didn't take no for an answer and pursued more. I would recommend coming here during the day when families are there, not during the night when they are un-organized and the other customers and creepy.

This place is great. Take your kids or have a night out with friends. The snack bar girls are great and drinks are reasonably prices! Never had an issue. It is a family establishment though so don't be surprised if you try to buy drinks for other people and the bartenders ask to see everyone's id. They are just doing their job. All in all a great place to spend some time with friends!

this is a very good bowling arena and it is also very large they have almost I think about 48 Lanes. The wait time is not that long also it is very suitable for to go with family and friends last time I went there was with my family and three year old niece. customer service is also good specially one of the guys at the reception was very helpful in terms of accommodating my three-year-old niece with her shoes bowling ball requirements.

I live in Scarborough and travels here to just play bowl.Really friendly environment, safe and follows Covid Protocol. I salute all the workers who’s been really amazing keeping the bowling place clean and never fails to check for proof of vaccination for everyones safety.

Terrible customer service. Absolutely terrible. Waited at the bar with 10 of my coworkers, cash in hand for 15 minutes before leaving. Didn't even go bowling it was so atrocious. Tried to tell men at front desk...didn't care. One sarcastic 'sorry' in reply. Our entire establishment will no longer go there. That's 50+ people in our workforce lost from terrible customer service. And probably more from telling our friends and family.

My boyfriend and I have been going to Leisure Lanes since 2016 and it’s by far our favourite bowling alley to go to. Ryan, Mark & Steve are just simply attentive, friendly and amazing - so is the rest of the staff!! They always give the best customer service and makes sure you’re having a great time. Amazing prices and great weekly specials! We had to stop going for a little while when Covid-19 hit but once they reopened, we made a visit right away. Now that there are restrictions and protocols, Leisure Lanes really makes sure to put their customers safety first. From vaccine screening, consistent cleaning of common areas or social distancing between the lanes, we felt so safe here that we’ve brought more family members to bowl with us every week! The kids love going here not just for bowling but for the little arcade games they have. This place is kid-friendly and just overall great no matter how old you are! 10/10 recommend this bowling alley. It’s a great atmosphere regardless if it’s date night or family night. It’s always a great time at Leisure Lanes!

But this place needs to train their staff proper customer service... The bartender seriously needs to practice how to smile, have a better attitude... And put PAYING customers first than to take her solemnly time ! Ugh! She made me and my colleagues feel so uncomfortable... And it was their first time!

Went there with my friends. Had great fun. Really good place to spend quality time with friends and family but a bit disappointed with staff. I do understand covid regulations need you to have mask all the time and I have no problem with them asking us to watch out again and again for our kids to out the mask on. What I didn't understand was why was it different for us when the other group on our adjacent lanes had young adults and probably their dad who didn't have a mask on. They never told them. Singling us out again and again was what I didn't like.

We were there yesterday and this happened to a friend of mine. ``````````````````````````` "The worst service ever. I would not recommend this place at all. I walked in with a bottle of water to be told I can not have it, I explained I just had surgery and I need to drink, the bottle was taken away from me and I was told I can get it back when I leave, and that is from the manager. Wow. I will never set foot in that place again. When I mentioned the poor service to the manager he said "don't come back". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Haven’t been there in a couple of years as the ‘woman’ on the counter lost it when I went to the counter to try to get a lane. Apparently there were a number of groups waiting but I wasn’t aware that there was any wait as the other groups were told to stand elsewhere. I simply went to the counter to inquire. She responded as if I was jumping the queue or trying to steal someone’s spot. This was one of the rudest persons I’ve ever had to deal with. If you want to go bowling and feel like you are in prison, this is the place. I attended my son's school trip for grade 5, 10am, didn't get 2 feet in the door when not 1, but 2 employees stopped me, I had a Tim Hortons tea. No outside food or drink, can't bring it in, leave it in the car. Their restaurant wasn't open, can't buy one from them, I don't drink coffee, and I'm not drinking beer! I can see how this should be enforced maybe at night, or on weekends, when I'm taking the $1.20 out of their pockets, but this is ridiculous.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!! My GodSon was celebrating his 8th birthday with his friends but that got interrupted by the mean service and attitudes from staff. They had no regard for the children being around by using profanity and at the main desk for everyone to hear and see. I asked to speak with management to which i was told there was not one on duty. Due to my persistence... one magically appeared. When speaking with this elderly woman i then began to realise that her staff mimics her behavior as she too were very dismissive and rude. While giving my concerns about food being left out for the children to eat in an open area by the main door without our knowledge or their staff supervision, she told me "whatever, you should have been there already" what kind of response is that to give a paying customer (which were my words to the "manager") a 2nd lady decided to chime in by using profanity and telling us to pay and get out. So after exchanging some very much needed words for her that is what we did and left. In short... DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!! They care nothing about their customers and dont deserve to be in business or managing a business. There are only so many bowling establishments left and this one should not be employed by this staff. I communicated with FIVE STAFF STAFF MEMBERS!!!! and everyone was just as rude, dismissive and worthless as the last. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! They can keep the 1 star because they had bowling lanes and balls... Thats about it!

Regular bowling alley. Went on a Friday when there was no "cosmic bowl" therefore less of a younger crowd. We had fun. We payed for 2 games and two lanes which was about $12 per person (there were 6 of us). They do not take debit or credit but do have an ATM on site. They also do not take reservations for lanes..it's first come first serve

Leisure Lanes has a great family atmosphere. Most of the staff was fairly young but they exceeded my expectations. The place was crazy busy but the young men on the counter were very helpful with deals and shoes. Let me tell you though, the young ladies at the snack bar were the highlight of my night! Very friendly, always laughing and quick to help. I actually stood and talked to them because they were just so sweet. You can tell they really enjoy their job and being at work. Thats so rare to see from young people now a days. I'll definitely be coming back!

I visited this place with my son. He is new to bowling and it was his first time. To be honest, I was nervous because not many places are child friendly. But from the time we entered the place till we left, it was a pure pleasure. The gentleman at the front desk was amazingly friendly and explained good tips for kids. He would check on us to make sure we don’t have any issues. I would give this place 7 starts if possible. I highly recommending this place for families with young kids. We will visit again with hubby and our daughter!!

Great place! Most modern scoring system in North America including games that you can play, chatting with other lanes, and even posting your experience to facebook. The new seating arrangement is much more sociable and the renovation with 47" high def screens looks great. Nice to be able to watch your favorite sport while you bowl. The prices are great at every department and still less than many other centres (none of which have such a system). The drinks are cheap, the food is too especially considering that it's good and you get a lot of it and the staff are awesome!!!!

The strangest bowling place ever visited! If you are falling under petite category, DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE! They won’t provide you the right size balls if you are not comfortable with the ones they provided. Just because they don’t want to bother providing different sizes, even though you being a customer you will have to manage to have fun with the balls they provide!! Such a great way to have some ‘LEISURE’! You can’t lift a large ball? They will boast of about their 3 years old children using large balls to make you uncomfortable. We spent 45min to get the lane and leave the place just within 5 min of getting it, only because they were not accommodating at all!

The alleys are top notch and there's a decent little bar with some pool tables in it. New computer systems are nice with touch screen monitors and the place has some really nice hdtvs on every lane which not only show your score but also have cable so you can watch hockey or whatever sport is on at the moment. New floors look good. The place is undergoing several renovations. The manager was disrespectful to me but the rest of the staff is good. I had given this place two stars in the past but it has improved a lot recently. I would give this place 5 stars if it weren't for my run in with the manager along with the other complaints that I've heard about her.

Put some words down when I first wrote this review but they seem to have disappeared. My first time here we ordered food and some mixed drinks. After asking for a CUP of water I was directed to a vending machine, and told I could purchase a bottle. This is disgusting and illegal. I walked into this place and was (barely) greeted by the cashier. He acted like he didn't want to be there and gave poor customer service from start to finish. I said I wanted a game of 5 pin to start and i got "We only have real bowling here" as a response, in his continuous snotty and rude tone.... At this point I just wanted to speak to a manager, and when I privately spoke with him, he seemed to think I was fixated on the cashiers comments on 5 pin bowling (as if i was some kind of 5-pin fanboy and THAT was the problem here... yeah right buddy...) I came to this place as a new customer looking to have a good time, and instead I was greeted by rudeness and, (never though i'd use this term), bowling elitism.... I never said anything mean or sarcastic about the cashier or owner... and believe me, there was a lot of material to work with.

I never used to mind Leisure Lanes.. that was until I went to Nebs.. the difference is night and day. The biggest down side about Leisure lanes is they are sooooo up tight and the bar tenders have no personality. Not to mention I dont think they realise it is against the law for them to turn down a glass of water... We had 4 people with us; 3 drinking beer and one DD; she asked for a glass of water and the bar tenders response was "In the vending machine" You do not need to provide filtered or bottled water however if you serve alcohol it is a MUST you provide drinking water of some sort. Not to mention, the balls are crazy greasy; i dont think they have ever wiped them down. Only good thing is you dont really have to worry about kids as they only have ten pin and nothing to help assist kids so you typically dont see any kids running around. Nebs all day; Pitches, good staff and open concept. What more can you ask for! Enjoy

Absolutely awful experience. Employess lurking like soviet gulag guards watching as you play. The one dude gave us a covid breifing as if we were getting ready for a space shuttle launch. Continually harassed our group for our mask placement. I understand the circumstances but when the next group closest to you is 30ft away and you can go to a Jay's game maskless the enforcement seemed a tad extreme. Bartender was standoffish and unfriendly as well.

Rock-And-Bowl is fun, but holy, the staff were rude from beginning to end. Difficulties getting our shoes, super long wait times for food and drinks, closing the bar while in the middle of taking orders because she "felt tired and annoyed", snide comments throughout the entire night not just to our group, but to or about other groups around us. My first experience at leisure lanes bowling was the worst time ever! The service was extremely slow followed with the staff who are beyond disrespectful and remove balls from lanes due to age restrictions. This should not be a reason for balls being taken away due to the fact that some people may have medical conditions or trouble holding the very heavy balls. They should not assume that every person above 5 can hold a 10 pound Ball.
