It was ok. I was a bit disappointed with the birthday party set up vs the cost. But the game it self was fun for the whole family. Aged 7-40

Kelvin Fong

This was super fun for the kids. I felt this place was a bit understaffed for the amount of people here.

Shahram Shahpouri

Google said it is open, Official web site said it is open, Called them, the answering machine said there is no reservation needed and we are open every day 10 to 10. We went there as a group of 7 (July 23rd) and the location was under construction!!! Wasted a huge amount of time finding their location and coordinating with friends!. Sorry, I expect major closures to be well communicated either through your web site or google. at least you should update your answering machine to inform callers properly and not distributing false information. Looking forward to having a clear explanation from the owners here.

The game was amazing and fun but the staffs are so rude and have a nasty attitude

i had recently left a good review as I love laser tag and we do it for work events and have a great time. However we just left, and they turned off the Internet because they are moving. We waited 30minutes and scrounged up cash to pay, only to be told we would have to wait another 30 minutes. Because some people had to go home for dinner, all 10 of us had to leave without playing and forgo our after work event. We weren't even offered a free game for the new location. Pretty crappy customer service. I appreciate the worker was busy with hand written visas, but you would think given they shut the internet off causing them to have to take visas by hand, they would just have let us play a game so we didn't come for nothing.

Took my coworkers here for a team building exercise. Prices were fair and the venue itself is very impressive! Worked up a good sweat in the arena. We were joined by another group and got along very well I would like for the party rooms to be more secure - perhaps have locks on them to keep our stuff safe while we're in the arena. I feel like the management need to work on handling payments by being able to provide invoices though. Would love to use this place as a regular for our New West company but this is something that should definitely be addressed. Overall a wonderful experience, great venue, helpful staff and s night of good fun!

This place is Horribly operated. I went here with a group of friends. The guy at the till couldn't handle it. It turned out it was his 3rd shift and he was running the place with another guy who had been there less time than he. My friend was accused of not paying, though she had, in cash, and he was forced to pay again in order to play. When it was finally time to play my name was not on the screen. I had to go back out to the desk to figure it out and the game went on without me. I was offered a free game but I asked for a refund as I will not be returning. I was told they do not do refunds. The manager was called and gave the same answer of no refunds. I was then told to come in again the following Tuesday to talk to someone who would be able to help me more. I drove back on Tuesday and I was again told they do not do refunds. I was given the name of the manager and an email to contact. I have emailed twice and have received no reply. The manager's name is Mike Marti. The building is disgusting, the bathrooms are broken and their video games do not work. Don't give them a cent of your money. Go Go-Karting instead.

Rude and unprofessional. I've been going to the braid location for quite some time and went there today with my buddy just for 1 game. During the game, both my buddy and I could not participate as our guns were not registering anything. My friend went out first and got his gun fixed, and I went out shortly afterwards when I realized mine was malfunctioning. The male employee working there (early 30's wearing glasses with receding hair line) was dismissive when I told him the gun wasn't working and extremely reluctant to help me out. After pleading my case with him that my gear clearing wasn't working, he finally recalibrated my gun. This took 10 minutes. I went back inside and tried again to continue in the game, but my gun was still not registering anything. I went to an opposing player and got them to help me test it so I pointed my gun point blank at their chest and fired, only to prove that my gun was clearly not working. I went out AGAIN for the second time (more than half the game time was over now) and the employee was idling on his phone at the front desk. I asked him politely if he could help me and he IGNORED me. I asked politely a second time and he looked up at me and said "I heard you the first time". At this point, I'm beginning to lose my patience. Not only did I barely get to participate for the ONE game that I paid for, but this employee was giving me the worst customer service I've ever experienced at planet lazer as every other employee that I've dealt with has been friendly and helpful. At this point I ask for a different vest and he responds by saying "That won't do anything". I explain to him the situation that I confirmed with a player on an opposing team that my gun was not working and finally convinced him to get me another vest. At this point, he finally gives up being an intolerable prick and gives me another vest only to say to my face "I wish my boss would believe me if I told him this" in the most dismissive way possible. I finished the game and enjoyed the 5 or so minutes with my functional vest and gun. If you guys ever run into this employee when you're there ( caucasian male, early 30's wearing glasses with receding hair line and beard) watch out. I took the high road this time, but if I ever encounter him again and have an issue with my vest, I won't hold back and will be speaking with the owner directly. This guy should lose his job.

I have always enjoyed coming to Planet Lazer. It is usually with a birthday Party or My Scouts and everyone has a great time. The place is huge so you don't feel cramped in the play area.

Tony Cima

Understaffed, the equipment often doesn't work properly and good luck getting compensation when you're unable to play due to these issues. Score printouts are no longer available, nor is background music during the game. Not worth the price for this sub-par experience.

Ruby Tuesday

Called on the phone and the person said that we could come in at whatever time and they would have us in at the next game. We arrive to find him hiding behind the desk, ignoring us as we tried to get his attention. When he finally decided to acknowledge us, he told us that we couldn't get in until the game after the next one. That would've been ok if we didn't have other plans afterwards. The actual game is nice, worker not so much...

Haider Abbasi

The experience was really fun. It is a great weekend activity to plan with your friends. But our experience was totally ruined by a rude employee (who says his name was "Ben") working today (Oct 31) during the evening (5pm to 7pm). The guy displayed an absolutely terrible and psychotic behaviour. He yelled twice for simply asking questions, and yelled at my friend so bad that she starting crying. This person ruined the night for everyone in our group. The guy did not even have sense of not yelling and being psychotic (banging tables and walls) in front of little kids, like legit 5 year old kids.

Jaime Callica

Hey Planet Lazer: your customer service is THE WORST. Your staff Kenny, unbeknown to the customers, shortened the game clock because he was "running behind." That's fraud. We paid for 20 minutes NOT 15. Instead of simply accepting that, my group and I didnt play and asked for a refund... Was told "no refunds." No refunds? We didn't play. We didn't even touch the vests. That's called stealing. Twice in fact. You shortened a game without the knowledge of most of the other players that had already gone in where we happened to be the last of the group and saw that the clock read 15 minutes vs the 20 minute game it should have been. Which makes me wonder how often you guys do such shoddy, fraudulent activity.

DAVID GUALDRON

Awesome experience. Had a lot of fun with my friends, staff is very helpful and suggested what was best for us. For first timers I think 1.5 hours is enough.. but 2 hours would be fine if you are super active.

Johnathon Parker

It was Amazing! staff was great and friendly, was given powerups and team games with my friends. Price is not bad too, I do recommend you come on Sunday after 6 because they lower the price to around $5 for 20 minutes a game. I highly recommend it!

Willy Sin

Don't wear white as you're shooting laser guns in a dark, florescent 2 story area. It's combined with the SkyZone trampoline park so it's very noisy from kids screaming -1 stars for: There's also a strong plastic-y chemical smell as the building is new

Aaron T

I have been here probably over 10 times (birthdays, outings, craving laser tag etc.), and each time was quite a fun and rewarding experience. Despite being on the bottom of the totem pole versus paintball and airsoft, Planet Laser still provides a seriously fun way to interact with others in a team based environment (or pretend to do milsim since you can't afford airsoft equipment) Recently my youth group organized an outing to Planet Laser for a fun friday out. The group rates were extremely competitive, they accommodated for our whole party, and everyone agreed this should become tradition because of how fun it was. Compared to the old location, the arena is spectacular. Incredibly cool sci-fi/tron-ish obstacles dot the landscape with barriers and shooting holes dotting the map. Two stories and a maze of bridges make the arena always refreshingly new to play in, despite already being 3 games in. My advice: Try it at least once, and go with a group to make it cheaper. After that try not to go broke from being addicted to laser tag.

James Koop

We had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful and the laser tag arena was built wonderfully. We left with huge grins on our faces. We'll definitely be back!

Rachael G

Would be fun if their goddamn guns and vests worked, but they don't. I've always cut them slack because it's an old place with old equipment - this planet Lazer was a huge source of childhood fun and the equipment had never changed, so though it was always glitchy I tended to go back anyway. But then they dropped who knows how much on a new location and still haven't fixed the vests? Played 3 games with a party of 6 and 3 of us had a gun that didn't work some of the time in 1 game and 2 of us had guns that didn't work in 2 games. The one guy we saw working that day was always dismissive when we brought up the issues and they only even took note that our guns weren't working two of the times we pointed it out because he did not care. The new arena is nice though, which is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1. My 1 game with a working gun was pretty fun.

hema priya a.g

We had a great time over der. All age groups can have fun. But we bought a whole day tickets, it's waste of our money. We really can't spent that much time, after an hour itself we felt tired and little bit dizzy. So chose ur tickets wisely.

Areeb Iqbal

The game was okay, but the service was unbelievably terrible. I have never met such a rude employee than the man working at the Planet Laser desk tonight. Gave our group attitude throughout the night, snapped back when we asked simply questions, and was aggressively banging on the wall several times to get our attention and screamed the instructions at us. I get it, people have bad days, but this was by far one of the worst experiences I have had in a public setting with an employee.

janis bednarska

If you have kids or teens then after them up and BRING THEM!. Cool vests, music and two floors of glowing fun. Lots of spaces to hide and shoot other parties. Lockers also available for small fee. Extreme Air Park also located in the same building. Sadly, there where no other parties to play against, so we played against each other! I recommend phoning in advance to find out, depending on many are in your group.

Julie Carlsten

ok, where to begin, no enough staff and service pretty poor. We ordered a party for 9 guests and we paid the deposit cash 5 days prior to the event. One person was working at the desk, took a while to get help. he took the money and then said that he needed to check with his manager about cash deposits? then the day of the party, only one person working still (Sunday PM with hundreds of people) we had a guest that cancelled last minute but they would not budge and charged us for 9 anyways. Then they took out food for only 8 people, we had to tell them that we paid for 9 and expected food for 9. We were told they would wrote the name of the birthday boy on cake, it was just a piece of paper stuck on it. The parking lot is a disaster, 3 cars can park, the overflow is about 500 meters in the dark with no side walks for kids to walk on. The signage is poor as the place is on top pf a hill, hidden. We will not go back.

Logan

The place was a piece of junk, some guns are more accurate and usually hit more than others, my gun could never hit anyone else it took it a few shots to register on a guy standing still, and I’m not a bad shot. To prove it me and my friend who had an amazing gun switched vests and he couldn’t hit me, I could aim anywhere on him and it would pretty much hit. There Stone Age tech is not worth the price

CAROL vuong

They claim to covid regulations (encourage hand sani, temperature checks) but they did not. No passport checks here I think because they're an arcade so don't need to. I was very uncomfortable there and should've left. Many people running around without masks on. Our first game was great, just our team and couple others so the laser tag room wasnt crammed pack with ppl. But they didn't sanitize their vests btwn games (we did consequetive games) and the 2nd game was FULL so the laser tag room was crammed full with people. But the actual laser tag room was great very spacious and blasted AC and it was fun. I would come back if covid was eradicated and everything back to normal.

Dustin S

Great place for a birthday party! At any age! It's fun to run around and shoot your friends. Pretend you're the terminator or a cowboy. Biggest disappointment was that we didn't get to choose to be on a team together as friends.

Barb Wilkins

DO NOT waste your money on a birthday party here. The New West location got behind last weekend and my son’s party was delayed 45 minutes. However, it appears I’m still paying for my 2 hour time slot. Imagine 18 boys, aged 7-10 with nothing to do in an open space. I would’ve reversed the order and just used the party room first as we waited, but they don’t grant you access until the last minute. Kids crying, fighting, saying they wanted to leave (birthday boy included). Once I did get the party room, they: didn’t bring enough plates, had the wrong pizza, brought one cake instead of 2, didn’t give us a knife to cut the cake and then short spoons. Each one of these things I had to go back up to the counter to get, with staff looking annoyed. At one point, I was followed back in to “count” plates because people must badly want 2 more styrofoam plates. I sent an email Monday, as directed by staff and surprise surprise, radio silence!

Joe Kan

It's a pretty neat place to bring kids for lazer, trampoline, or birthday ???????? parties ????!

solozw

The staff work as hard as they can here, even under pressure; they deserve more credit for their dedication. Visited this location a few times, each with a group of friends, games are great and the arena is spacious with a great layout.

Kevin D

I love destroying seven year olds on Wednesdays, when I can get two games for the price of one. The equipment all smells terrible, and poor ventilation makes it grossly sweaty inside. Don't wear light colours!

Samantha May

Had my son's birthday party here. In the words of one child guest, "this is the most chaotic birthday I've ever been to", but it was us, not the place. A little pricey, but I went for it because everything (2 games, icecream cake, pizza, 1 drink per kid and party room, clean up) was included, so you don't even have to shop except for goody bags. You could even do this party with no car as it is very close to Braid Station. Location is difficult to find - you have to go into the industrial complex gate and way up to the left. Watch for signs.

Piyush Khurana

Great arena to enjoy for all ages. Must go place to have fun activities.

Ryan Konesky

This laser tag location is pretty fun but unfortunately has a few flaws. One, the sensors on the vests commonly have trouble working and the vests batteries cut out in the middle of the games which ruins the experience. The lasers commonly do not catch most sensors which can be quite frustrating. Please upgrade to better equipment overall. Many users would really appreciate this. Also, the system seems slightly inconsistent and a modern upgrade would be much appreciated. An upgrade to the building, the main lobby and the entire laser tag experience itself seems quite necessary. Inside the laser tag portion of the building is really well done but would be heavily enhanced with these upgrades listed above. And one more thing, it's really hard to find the entrance to this building.

Jennifer Kopp

A fun place to bring a group of friends for a high energy game. I bring a lot of student groups to this place. The staff can sometimes be a bit tricky to get a hold of and reservations sometimes are a pain but my students always have a lot of fun!

John Mavrick

I went with a group and did the $12 for 2 games promo. It's cool how there's different powerups and sound effects for when you tag someone, and the arena was quite spatious. Only downsides were no player cards and how sweaty you become by the end of the game ????

Paul Lawbaugh

Great layout, I love a good multi-level laser field. One upgrade request: add in bases so you can get bonus points for invading and taking over the other color home bases.

PARVESH JAI

Great place, kids love going there every time!

Trella “Trellasaur” C.

The front door is around back, you can walk to this place from Braid skytrain station. I come here with my friends, we rent the place out or take advantage of the $5 games on Sundays. It's a ton of fun. The inside is multi-storied, the bottom floor is like a maze, the top floor has places to sniper and camp. The inside waiting area, before you go in to play, has an arcade, a small number of lockers, tables and chairs, vending machines, and washrooms. If you don't get a locker you can hang your stuff on the bracket where your laser tag vest is, it's in another room that they rope off to non-players.

Rob Aleong

Visted with a pre-teen on a weekend for drop-in laser tag. It's decent value at 2 games for $20 a person, definitely a kid friendly activity but since it's ajoined to an airpark it was ridiculously loud in between games.

Madison Varga

Absolute WORST service ever. Put 15 minutes on the game clock instead of the 20 that it was supposed to be and when we asked why, Kenny, the staff on said “I need to make it a shorter game because I’m behind.” That’s not the customers fault. So we asked for our money back and didn’t play and he DIDN'T GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!! That’s robbery and I hope he gets fired for such horrible “service”. Never going back. And I want my money back.

Natasha Korchanova

This place always advertises coupons so they get people in the door, but never actually honours them. Contacted head office, they asked for more information and then never got back to me. Sucks because it was a fun place to go to...

Had my daughters 7th birthday party here April 22nd. The kids had a good time. Ages between 7&9. Small and tall. Party of 6. (You pay for 8) For the cost of $226. In my opinion it wasn't worth it. Had 2 staff on and 3 groups. Small kids playing with adults that they don't know. Our "party" room was dark with mirrored walls and a black a yellow wall. Not inviting for a 7 year olds party. The place is old. They brought us pizza with napkins, no plates. No one helped us and its one drink per person. We dished out the pizza Then came cake with plates and we light the candle and dished out the cake. I know easy..but when you have 6 screaming kids I was expecting staff to be there to assist. Its no crash crawleys..(best in value for a kids birthday party in my opinion) this was budget services for a high price. Yes they have a new building opening sometime in April..great. Make sure the service for parties is better than what you have right now.

shma man

Place was fun and fine. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was under staffed. For a simple request they asked you to stand in line and wait. Took 10 minuets just to ask for spoons which never came. If they can sort out staff issues, would score better.

Google Guide

Great place to blow off some energy whether with a group from the office, birthday party, or with a few friends. Very large facility. Access is through the security booth outside of the Amazon fulfillment centre; follow signs. They also have a separate trampoline park venue. Free surface parking. #letsguide

Doodle

I've been to the Richmond location many times in years passed, this location seems to be a fair bit larger and with more of an open floor plan. That being said it is still well designed with plenty of cover.

Dipesh Sontakke

Okay place. The laser play is overcrowded. They take more than 40 people in one batch. The games are boring and have no engagement. The staff was very intimidating and not friendly.

Ollie Lindsay

Super fun... not very busy during covid so that’s good. Great place.

Brandon Wong

I've gone multiple times and the games have been fun every time! Lots of cool places to hide and snipe as well as a pretty nice setup for sneaking around and tagging people.

Illuisionz

Great place for the whole family! 15 minute games with 2 levels of places too hide and snipe out all your friends and family.. well worth the prices

A Walsh

Such a nice venue! The staff are very helpful and friendly! Would recommend if you are just wanna feel like a kid again. So much fun!

Nasser Youssefi

I haven't been there for some years, they have moved to new location the other side of Braid street, took a bit time to find them, other than that, we had lots of fun there.

Taylor Bettesworth

Good place for family fun, girlfriend and her son had a blast here and so did I. Nothing beats a rainy day like mowing down kids in laser tag. Price is ok, some of the laser packs/guns not in full working order and staff seems like they are dead inside. Other than that no complaints.

Tom Washingmashine

A zero star rating is not accepted so they get 1. When informed that we are here for a birthday party, the winner behind the counter replied simply “that’s not my job”. The business website shows the business at the wrong address. It’s confusing how to get to planet laser once you get in the door - the place is mostly a trampoline place, with planet laser back around the corner.

Kel Zamora

Me, my son and friends had so much fun! Ryan provided great customer service and was super helpful! We will be back!!

Caljerome

Pretty good laser tag, you have to be super accurate with the laser. Very spacious.

Sean Jackson

They do a deal on Sundays for games. The games are long enough that you have fun but short enough that you can take a break between the matches. Great place to bond with friends or coworkers.

Drift Patriot

Had my sons 8th Birthday here and $300 for a birthday package with ONE person working the till and games with crap service. Dont waste Ur time going here. yes, the laser tag games over all for the kids were fun however, usually when you pay this much for a big party youd think it would come with a party host? Nope. You arrive 30 mins early to register all kids at a computer. Keep in mind. most parents drop and run so how on earth am I supposed to know every detail like all kids' age, address. Ph number and birthday? Its misery just to register these kids. After the first game the poor kids came out hot and sweaty and asked for drinks. With the amount of money we paid you would think the least they can do is have jugs of water out and when I asked? No sorry one can of pop per kid served at lunch. Hmmm. The final straw for me was the ice cream cake they served. We had a serving spatula and NO knife to cut the cake. when I asked for a knife the response was, "sorry we can't supply sharp objects". So we were expected to serve cake and cut it with the only tool they supplied. How embarrassing!! There was literally one worker there the whole time. The kids still had fun which is all that matters but for this price?? Forget it! Not worth it!!

Natasha Karan

Cant say I was a fan of the customer service at the front desk. We got there around 930 on a Friday night and were hoping to get two rounds of games in since the website says that they are open till 1030. When we asked for just that, the employee stated that he would only allow one round because it was a Friday, he was tired, and he wanted to close early to go home. :-/ He even mentioned that if we each threw an extra 20 at him he would consider staying (??) For the hours he was suppose to be there anyway? - Crazy. Overlooking the rude employee and his snarky remarks, I loved the experience. We were there with a group of friends, and it was a ton of fun. I'd go again and would recommend it ONLY IF you're alright with overlooking the customer horrible service upon entry. :)

Emily C

This place makes you feel like a kid again! The new venue is huge and clean. The party room was perfect for our group of 25. Staff are helpful and have personality, and booking the event was simple. I would recommend Planet Laser for people of all ages. So much fun!!

Mike Lee

Came in for a birthday party the weekend before last and was blown away! The staff working, Ryan, was simply great! He was good with the kids, accommodating to us and our changing player count (LOL) and he was very friendly and approachable. The only downside of the experience was a few of the suits were having some issues but it wasn’t too bad because he was able to fix the issues in a moment or so. Overall 5 stars for customer service, 5 stars for fun, 4.5 stars for the tech! We had a great time and we will definitely be back again next year!

leahstoltz

I really enjoy going to Laser tag with my son and friends. I am excited to check out new expansive location. Great exercise, super fun, great way to engage with your friends.

brenseng

Great place for laser tag and trampoline park on on building. Don't recommend it for people who don't like loud music though! It was blasting so loudly we couldn't even talk to each other.

B

Horrible experience. Staff were rude and unhelpful. I went there with my 6yo son to play Lazer Tag but we were the only ones there. On the way out we tried to play a video game but the staff weren’t even able to make change for a $10 bill. Never again.

Castro Forming LTD

Warning mini rant. Had my son's birthday here last year, he absolutely loved it. At his request, we came back this year. Birthday package says it includes invitations you can print out, BUT THEY MOVED 6 MONTHS AGO and failed to update them. My guests arrived late and one poor boy's mom couldnt find it and didn't come at all. This was very embarassing for us. They made me pay upfront even for the kid that didnt show, otherwise no one could play. Ridiculous. Was not given any compensation for my loss. THEN there was the Birthday Cake. The website again clearly states "ice cream cake with planet laser logo and your childs name and age". They gave us a genertic tiny store bought icecream cake without my sons name or age. It tasted awful. I would like to say that last year everything went smoothly and as promised. This is false advertising. I wrote to the manager online, the workers there said there is no way to contact the manager by number. My son was so disappointed. I spent around $220 for this package and expected more from them. I am waiting to hear from the owner/manager and will update my review. *Added pictures of the cake, invitations and what is says on their website.

Greg&Anita P

Terrible service, one person says something and another says something else. Did a birthday party for my 9 year old son, sent out the invitations for the booked time. Five days prior was told to arrive 30 min before the booked time (so now I am scrambling to change times with parents) to get the kids all registered, then when we get there they tell us that we are early and we wait over an hour to get playing. Now I have kids that cannot stay for the whole time and they tell me they will run the games back to back to get the games through, which they do not and I have 3 kids leave and miss out- plus I have paided and they tell me they do not do refunds- and they also respond with "we always run late"- none one there wants to take responsibility, I am cancelling my other sons party booked there and going to laser dome in North Van. They only reason I will give a 3 is the kids had a great time- saying that some where frustrated by the vests not seemingly working well

Frank Kaminsky (Frank K)

Went with friends for some laser tag and had a pretty good time. The place is decently sized with two floors. A little smaller than expected. The only complaint is that it's hard to know whether or not you actually hit someone with your laser. And hard to tell if you got hit.

Lorenz Villa

When you play multiple games you get the chance to play in both teams and everyone for themselves. The facilities are quite dated but there was a sign saying they are soon moving to a new location, which means upgrades finally! A ton of fun!

Mackenzie Dick

Awesome time with my buds. Attended a birthday party with 15 of my buds and had an absolute Blast. The staff are friendly and helpful when my gun stopped working i came out, and this giant dude fixed it right away.

Ho Lee

The guy at the desk was so incredibly rude!!!! He honestly ruined my experience, I came with my five year old and her friends for a treat and he was very rude to me and the people with me.

Brandan Milburn

They are very nice here. They help you right away if you have any issues at All, and the arena is fun. Over all great gaming experience

Joanne Johnson

Customer care is not here. Their entire pay and reimbursement of a year olds birthday party is criminal. They want a $100 deposit then want you to pay the entire amount ( which does not include the deposit) to get refunded the $100 later after you have paid the entire amount. So recap advertised $249 for a party plus they want an extra $100 for deposit but the deposit does not go towards the ad price, so you pay $349 not $249 as advertised. We are still dealing with this a week later trying to get a hold of a manager to no avail ☹ I wish I could give a negative ⭐

Tara Mike

My 5 year old son was scared and did not participate in game the from very beginning. They refused to issue refund but eventually presented me with free session coupon.

Nicole Armstrong

Really disappointing experience. Phoned ahead and was told I did not need to reserve on Friday evening and just to come in for a group of 4 .got there and there was a group of 4 teenagers before us . Made me wait 15 min while the 4 of them paid then told me they couldn’t have my group couldn’t put them all in. 4 disappointed girls. Bad experience won’t be back

Jeeva D

Although the actual game was fine, they had the worst customer service in trying to resolve an issue. When I emailed to get a clarification on a policy and questioned whether there was possibility of a refund, their responses were rude, disrespectful with racist overtones. So similar to most of the reviews, which are negative, I will never recommend this place.

Rachel Sokacz

So far not impressed with the customer service! I have left four messages as well as an email on their site but no one has yet to contract me! I have been trying to confirm a booking for this weekend for my sons birthday which has likely been cancelled since they apparently automatically cancel reservations if they are not given a deposit. I have been trying to give them a deposit over the phone but THERE IS NEVER ANYONE WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!! All calls seem to go directly to voicemail! If my son didn’t have his heart set on Lazer Tag with his friends for his birthday I would cancel the damn thing! Horrible experience so far!

Getting setup was somewhat simple for me and my friends. but one of the computers wasn't working but there was like 5 more So it was fine. the staff were fast to come help us. getting started was easy the guy explained how to shoot and the rules and he sent us in. It was simple but fun we went on a Thursday for the iron man games so it was a little exhausting. But they had drinks for sale to refresh us before our next game

Great place! Lots of fun! The kids loved it! You can play with other people which can make it very interesting!

I had my son's birthday party at Planet Lazer, and it was completely stress free for me. The kids had a blast! Would recommend to other parents.

The venue was great for kids to run around and have a good time...really cool and big ...the staff were heplful. Would definitely come back with students and recommend it to my friends!

If you want your six and nine year old screamed at and told to shut up by staff after you dropped $800 on a party go here. My kids and the other patrons who were playing lazer tag were told to shut up and the staff banged aggressively on the wall to get everyone to stop talking (kids were excited to play if they missed simple rules the second out of third game big deal) also these are little kids they’re speaking to. We also had to continually ask for our party room and it wasn’t until minutes of the last game that we got ours. Then we got cutlery and napkins and plates and drinking a about 20 min before our party ended. Go somewhere else save your kids the verbal abuse

Went here tonight as a large group. It was extremely disorganized and chaotic, not to mention most of the equipment was broken and did not do what it was supposed to. Ex clips on vests, guns not working etc... they were definitely short staff for the amount of people working there, and the staff member on duty was pretty rude and didnt seem to care about what he was doing. When it was time for my group to eat in between round I had to ask the employee for a spoon, which took him LITERALLY TEN MINUTES. For one spoon !!! This place is a joke seriously don't waste your money.

Wanted to like the place, but my gun didn't work half the time. Tons of other people walking around complaining that their guns didn't work. Our nicknames didn't correspond to our actual stores. The staff was cool, but you could tell things malfunctioned all the time. Pretty lame.

They can accommodate 45 people per game for Laser Tag. Except of course when they rent out the ENTIRE arena on a Friday evening for a private event without posting anything on their website, leaving a bunch of kids disappointed after they arrived. Apparently private events make them more money, so when you arrive they may, or may not be open to the public.

Do NOT have your child's birthday here. Very poorly ran business, unethical staff, and filthy premise. The staff there added an extra game to my package increasing the cost to $31/child, we NEVER booked it and we didn't play the extra game. the manager IAN referred me to their website to ask for a refund and it's been days with no response. I had to run down the stairs several times asking for essential items that were included in our package and their staff forgot. Bathrooms were clogged and party room lights were half working. Premise was filthy. I'm very disappointed and will never be back.

Horrible. Paid and registered my nickname and when I asked why the game clock was 15 minutes vs 20 as it should be, Kenny's response was "I'm running behind so had to run a shorter game." That's complete and utter nonsense. I PAID for a 20 minute game, your lateness has no bearing on the PAYING CUSTOMER. THEN to NOT give me my money back when I requested a refund is downright stealing. My group and I didn't play for one second. We didn't even step foot into the area to collect our vests. Your service is horrible and I'll not only never be back, but will share this story with as many people as I can. I'd give you 0 stars if I could.

We had my son's birthday party here, and it was a huge hit! The staff was friendly, accommodating and patient with all of my questions. The boys were hesitant to try the rock climbing. To our surprise it was everyone's favourite. Would definitely recommend if your looking to throw your son/daughter a fun and successful birthday party!

I go to Planet Laser every week with my group of friends. Between the equipment and the customer service the place has been on a downward trajectory for quite some time. Today was the last straw. My guy noticed that they set the game time to 15 minutes instead of the 20 we paid for. A few of our group were already inside playing and were therefore shafted our full play time. Our friends that noticed the change in play time decided they did not want to pay for a 20 minute game if they were not going to be allowed to play the full 20 minutes and asked for a refund. They were told that they would not be given a refund. This is totally unacceptable!! There is no reason why they should not have been given a refund for a game they did not play!!

Had party for a kids sports team, 17 kids. The initial online order and follow up calls to organize went well. Party room and food were delivered as described. Kids had a blast playing. Only minor criticisms: the keyboards to register are terrible. Can't see some of the letters and random buttons don't work. Also, large pizzas are cut into 12 slices so they seem smaller than buying at home. Something to keep in mind when budgeting food.

Loads of fun. We had two twenty minute sessions and was lots. The four of us only $80. Great deal. Staff were tough but very cool. Poor young woman handling us had a migraine, but she and her blue hair was amazing. Lots of action, crazy kids and adults and the trampoline attraction is attached to laser tag. Lots of parking and handicapped zone as well. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. One and only one complaint...didn't see any way of buying food...I was so hungry....other than that....great fun, go try it.

Loved this place and would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for alot of fun. Staff were good

Booked three games starting from 10am on Sunday. Nobody else there so it was great for covid distancing. One gun wasn't working well. Kid's had fun and got worn out, which was the point of going there ????

I had my son's birthday party here last week. I give it 5 stars because even though you were super understaffed, your employees were superb! Took a bit to get through the line and make the reservation and put in the damage deposit, but the manager who answered was efficient and did great. Steven and Dimitri did an incredible job handling the number of guests they had, we had a couple of vests not working, but in the end all the kids (and adults) had a great time playing. I recommend this place, just get more staff.

WORST place for kid's birthday party. 1. You have to pay in full upfront when you checked in your party in the beginning. After that, you are basically ON YOUR OWN the whole time. Don't expect a host for your party. Don't expect a staff to help you. Be prepared to line up for 20 mins to ask one single question at the front counter. 2. I don't understand why we have to register each player with a game pass, which the players do NOT need to use it for the games. You have to fill out all the name, address, email address, birthday, and etc during the registration. If you have more than 10 kids for your birthday party, you need to enter the same information 10 times except with different names, code names and birthdays. Suggestion: Only fill in the information of the host, and add each player under the host account. It will be way faster and more convenient for the host parents. 3. My kids complained the players (the older kids) were really rough. My daughter had been pushed on the floor by a teenage girl. The teenage girl grabbed my daughter and kept shooting her from the back. My daughter's friend had a big bruise after the game. She claimed someone pinched her during the game. Not to mention, some older kids in the laser tag were saying bad words. Conclusion: If you expected the worst and absolutely no service at all, then you are fine and happy at Planet Laser. My kids did have fun during the laser tag games. If you have kids under 8 years old, I would strongly recommend you to host a birthday party elsewhere.

Worst. Experience. Ever! Desk clerks were well over an hour late to show up (missed their alarm). 3 parties backed into each other which created utter chaos. The main desk clerk showed no remorse. Neither he nor the manager he apparently contacted were prepared to do anything to remedy the situation. On top of that the 2nd desk clerk told a bunch of 5 year olds to “shut their mouths” while explaining the game. The desk clerks should not be employed in any service industry and most definitely not we’re their are kids. An absolute disgrace, if I could rank it less than 1 star I would. Save your money, avoid this place like the plague!

I just really want the free ticket offer to be honest, but regardless every time I've been there it's been a pretty great experience. Staff are usually pretty friendly and accommodating, and as far as laser tagging goes it's a pretty solid place for it. No complaints.

Kids friends birthday. They had a blast.

Marta (Mariel)

We booked a birthday party at the New West location. The kids had fun but the staff were not helpful. Hard to believe that you can have 4 male staff at the front counter who had no time to show or help sign in the kids ( with the login) at the computers. There was little discussion of the rules or supervision. Such bad customer service for an expensive birthday party. The order online did not match what they had over the phone. We went over it over the phone and on site once again. The kids ordered specific pops and they did not match. The birthday cake was served at the same time as the pizza. To top it off the cake had our child’s last name! Our child has a common name so this was a careless mistake. Thankfully our kid is old enough to laugh it off but a younger child would have been upset. I don’t get it! It does t take much to be kind.

My girlfriend, I and one other went just after the new year. We each paid $25 to play, and then there was suddenly a power cut, meaning we couldn't. I wouldn't care so much about the poor customer service but now I'm back home in England and I'm still waiting for a refund. They promised it would be a matter of days and it's been almost a month. Terrible

I enjoyed coming here with my family! We just went for a birthday party and can't wait to go back! Great atmosphere and staff were helpful and friendly!

Too much money for the low level of service for the birthday party package. $295.00 for 10 kids, 2x20 minute games and 1 hour in dirty party room. The time it took to sign all kids in, 8 year olds trying to remember addresses postal codes phone numbers birthdates etc. Half the kids were crying thinking they weren't going to get to play in time. They don't need all that personal info anyway. Our party room table was greasy and had chip crumbs all over, total health and safety hazard. This is a place to drop your 12 year olds and up then pick them up later, not a good birthday party venue for small kids in large groups. I kept saying to myself... this is what $295.00 gets you???
