Terrible service. FYI I'm in the industry. This place is so poorly run. We were explicitly told that the restaurant closed at 11pm. PS: this place is part of a hotel. Front desk also told us 11pm closing. We were seated at 9:45pm, no drinks. Manager finally served us drinks at 10pm. We patiently waited for the server to offer us a menu. At 10:16pm, after we had been ignored for a half an hour, we asked for a menu. The playboy behind the bar smirked ... Kitchen closed!

Awesome place!! Sleek and modern inside, lanes are smooth, lots of different sizes balls to choose from. Gorgeous booth style seating and a tablet screen to control your game. You can add special themes to your game and adjust for kids so bumpers come up when it's their turn. Table service at your lane, for food and drink. Big screens in front of the lanes playing various sports and the video of whatever song was playing. Great arcade with new and fun games, also have a prize booth for tickets you collect there. 100% will return for a night out. We did an hour of bowling and none of us wanted to leave!

Loads of potential but not there yet.......Lots of work to do for the management team now with the renovations done and the bigger bills to pay. The look and feel of the venue since the renovation is awesome. When you walk in, you feel like you're gonna have a great time. Great vibe, great sound, great screens, great lighting, awesome new marketing/branding, web site and menu. The sell is awesome; BUT........ delivery is poor, slow and a misaligned with the marketing. We booked the VIP experience where we were promised a "celebrity" experience; an exclusive service in a private and secluded area catered to our needs. It was indeed none of these things. They are over selling an experience they are not prepared to offer and the food is overpriced for the frozen/reheated quality they are putting on the table. Ultimately they need to decide what kind of experience they are trying to offer because an identity crisis isn't good for customers, staff or management. If you want to offer a high end experience, charge more, and deliver. Don't be half pregnant. Proper food, made by proper cooks at those prices should be mandatory and a private, secluded area is worth charging/paying for. Increase prices and do better or decrease prices, remove the exaggerated marketing pitch from your website and keep doing what you're doing but right now you're confusing your customers and they won't give you a second chance

Tried out the Wednesday night all you can eat wing and bowl special for $30! Was a lot of fun, and a pretty decent deal for the amount we had ordered. Especially enjoyed the angry birds bowling game! Recommended for families and groups of friends for sure.

Thanks for hosting our event! The VIP lanes were great and service was great. Response times while organizing left me uncertain at times with selecting this venue but it all worked out in the end and wasn’t enough to rate less than five stars because it all worked out in the end.

Went out with some friends for a birthday and the waiter added extra shots onto my tab that i didn’t order or have. called the next day and was told to come in and that i’d get a refund. i drove all the way back there and was told that i couldn’t get a refund and that i had to wait for a manager to call me. now it’s been almost two weeks with no phone call and no refund. double check your bills. or just save your money and don’t go.

Parkway social is a very good place to hang out with friends or family. The service there is great and there are a lot of fun things to do there including bowling, laser tag and an arcade with many prizes and fun things to win. The bowling is very advanced and fun there are being balls for all ages and it is overall a very fun place to be.

Prices are a bit over priced for drinks and especially bar rail. Food isn't badly priced. Music made it too hard to speak with anyone more than 1 ft away. Great setup for bowling very modern. They were under construction when we went so hard to say now. Good place for parties lots of other games for kids and families Servers were friendly but not overly attentive. Food was great quality. Not much premium liquor but I guess for a bowling alley what's to be expected?

This was our 1st time going to Parkway. We went for bowling booked for 8pm. We arrived early (745)and were told about 20 min. to wait. Well 20 min turned into 40. I didn't understand when other lanes(8 lanes) were becoming available why we weren't given one of those. We were told that our lane would be available shortly. It was all very unorganized and very messy/dirty from food and drinks from the previous family where we sat. Our lane kept eating the balls (they were getting stuck underneath upon return) the manager promptly came and assisted the young man who was trying his best to retrieve them. We had fun but were very disappointed.

Our Christmas party last night went off with out a hitch. The staff and our waitress was an absolute blast and did more then she had too. We didn't realize they closed an hour early and not one employee mentioned to us that it was closing time while we were in the arcade or we didn'thear an announcement over the loud noises. When we went to head to cash in tickets at 12:03 a.m. they all looked at us and no one came up to let us know. I am more upset over being ignored than the second trip I will have to make now.

This bowling place was awesome. Love how they have it set up that it's like comfy Bristo style couches and a nice table in the middle that can actually hold food and drinks. Their prices are reasonable for bowling and their nachos are amazing. Nothing is overpriced here.

Spent a whole evening in the party room playing games with a large group that included dozens of people also bowling. Brooklyn was serving everyone on her own, and was cheerful and helpful all night. She kept up with the orders and checked in on us regularly. Great job Brooklyn!

On Tuesday it was my friends birthday so we decided to try somewhere new, this place did not disappoint. It’s beautiful inside, looks brand new. They have an arcade, laser tag, upscale dining & the waitresses are super nice and helpful. They advised me that in the warmer months there is a roof top lounge as well. The food was delicious. it’s a little pricey, but ultimately worth it. It’s not a normal bowling alley, I would call it upscale bowling. Definitely plan on making lots of reoccurring trips here.

A great place to bowl! It does tend to get very busy very fast, so be sure to make reservations if you can. Great for disco/glow bowling and events. They also have a small arcade which can be fun for those interested in that type of stuff. Darts and pool tables as well.

It is really hard for me to remember what Parkway used to be like. They have done an incredible job renovating and making it more of a hangout spot, which is I guess inspired the new name "Parkway Social". A massive bar, giant screens to watch any event, and tons of lanes to bowl. All you can eat wings on Tuesday! If you haven't been bowling in awhile, or are even just looking for something to do with a group, I highly recommend visiting Parkway Social.

Fun place to go for an evening with friends. However, where bowling is concerned, would not bowl there again. Wet shoes, drinks all permitted on the bowling alley. The lights were dimmed so low without notice, we could not see the arrows on the lanes. The restaurant had Pasta night which was very good.

This is one of the go to places for a nice atmosphere and things to do in st catharines. Place is very modern and has an up beat feel to it. There is an all you can eat wings and bowl night. I believe it is Wednesdays. Food here is also good. Drinks are on the pricier side but I guess that's what keeps the crowd in check. Pizza was good! Tried the Nashville chicken pizza. Chicken was good and the garlic aioli was a great complement to it. Check it out if you visiting or even if ya want something fun to do in town.

We went on Wednesday night which is All You Can Eat Wings and All You Can Bowl. It's marketed at $18, but you also have to pay for your bowling shoes and in the end it comes to $27 and change. Even with the price difference it is still such a great deal! The bowling alley is so well maintained and the wings are delicious. The service was quick and friendly and there are so many different wing flavours. Can't wait to tell all my friends. Definitely a great place to go for a night out!

Friends and I were staying at the hotel attached to this location & had prebooked 2 hours of bowling so we figured we would just eat at the parkway restaurant . Well we waiting 50 minutes for our food which was just 1 burger and 3 sandwiches. And the food was definitely lack luster not worth the price. We asked to speak to the manager as waiting this long for our food made our other plans before bowling veey rushed. Im in customer service and the way the manager spoke to us was very confrontational and not professional. He did end up giving us 1 extra hour of bowling for free but I still felt our meal should have been discounted to some degree as our bowling was already paid for . One thing i will say is our waitress at the bowling portion was AMAZING! We spent about 400$ in drinks in total and after our first 2 rounds she asked us how we were all getting homr, which you never hear anymore and that really impressed us. She was also super nice, friendly, and even made special drink requests. I dont know her name but she was skinny,had glasses and an arm tattoo. She deserves a raise :)

Usually have had a good time there, but last time I went I booked online with an error that my booking didn't go through. I then called in and told I wouldn't get charged for the failed booking. Sure enough 3 days later I did get charged. Then, when I called to complain they told me they would refund me and to wait 2 weeks for the money to come back. 2 weeks later, no money back. I call again to bring this up, again told to wait two weeks. Here I am now calling my bank to get the money back. You have a fancy place and all but I don't want to have to beg for my $150 back on a booking that didn't go through :)

There are definitely more cost effective bowling alleys in our area, but the experience is really awesome and the options for the games and players were great. The gutters automatically raised and lowered depending on the player which was awesome. We enjoyed ourselves!

I went to the arcade with my family and the kids had fun, although some of the games malfunctioned, like the basketball hoops. Also, don't waste your money on the 'Big Stuffed Animal Grab' game (I cannot remember the name!) My partner and I tried it a few times. We had it perfectly aligned on the animal, but half way through the grabber picking it up, it would let go. (I caught it on video). I told the person at the desk, and they said "Yeah it's like that, it's a rip-off". Not impressed.

I had my daughters 7th Birthday Party here. It was such a good time! You need to set it up through the event coordinator but she was great to deal with and got back to me in a timely manner. They supply everything there too! Pizza, pop/juice, cake, $5 in arcade credits for each kid plus $10 for the Bday kid. The only thing was the flavor of the cake got mixed up from vanilla to chocolate but no one had allergies and they kids at it all anyways lol I will definitely recommend this.

Wing and bowl on Wednesdays definitely worth it for my friends. Large amount of lanes and great organization of the tables to have them near the lanes. However, being a vegetarian, it is expensive for me to also get all-you-can-bowl on Wednesdays so that I may play with my friends without eating wings. Having a vegetarian all-you-can-eat options on Wednesdays would make this a 5 star review for sure!

I hosted a night out with a large group of coworkers. I was in contact with Samida who was so kind in helping with my reservation! Thank you! The venue is nice and we had a great time! However, if I had to point out something that could have been better, it would be the service to our lanes. I was told I would have servers for our lanes but most of us found ourselves having to go to the bar and place our orders which took just as long, if not longer during our game time. I only saw a server when we were done - bussing our table. Other than that, I would definitely host another event at this venue!

While it's not always easy being away from home, the amazingly friendly staff at the Holiday Inn and the Parkway Social helped make my time in St. Catharines easy and comfortable. Specifically, the bartender at the Parkway Social, Brooke, was a friendly face while I was on the road for work. From my first stay, Brooke remembered my name and my regular drink order. I spend a lot of time in restaurants, pubs and hotel bars when I'm on the road and the service I received at Parkway is second to none. Brooke's food recommendations were also spot on -- the fajita bowl was amazing. Thanks for the great service and company! :)

My wife and I had dinner here last night. We were debating where to eat and decided to give this place a try. Boy, are we glad we did!! The decor and vibe was amazing. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The music was great and the service was awesome! Our server was brand new but she was outstanding!! We ordered the feta bruschetta, Pork rib bites, Pesto pasta and the smash burger! Everything was amazing! The portions are great but the quality of the food was what will bring us back! Closed for 3 months, and my gosh, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Beautiful atmosphere, great food, super friendly staff! Even got to meet the GM. There's a slew of new game types, an updated score keeping system, and better music. Total improvement everywhere! Definitely coming back.

This place was really impressive. Recently renovated with lots of big screen TVs, arcade, laser tag. Service was friendly and servers came to our lane for orders. Bowling was fun, fairly priced beer. Each lane has a touch screen for score tracking and statistics. Would recommend highly!

Love parkway lanes, me and my dad have been going for a long time now, they renovated the building and it looks amazing now, highly recommend for anyone yo check it out if they want a fun day out with family or friends

Booked and paid for a VIP lane a week in advance. When we got there (10 minutes early) they told us they gave it to someone else so they crammed the 9 of us into one regular lane and shared the seating with another group. There was barely enough room to sit and we had a lady who was 8 months pregnant in our group. They gave us for a free coupon for another time which was basically useless since most of our group lives 6hrs away and won’t be able to come back any time soon. Yeah its nice in there but the management/service was brutal. If you book and pay for some something online you should be confident that you will get what you booked when you arrive. On our way out we overheard another group dealing with the same issue!

I really enjoyed Parkway Lanes. We went for a company Christmas party (so my review might be a bit skewed since I didn't pay). Very clean (although there is something to be said about the old musty smell of some of the older bowling alleys). The lanes, balls and overall venue was very well maintained. A huge selection of balls including 5 pounders for the kids. Lots of things going on here, for us they brought food out to the table. It was way better than you would expect in a bowling alley (I think it helps its attached to a Holiday Inn). They had pool, games etc. Was a perfect venue for our party (10 adults). The staff was super friendly - 15 minutes into our shenanigans one of the staff pointed out to us that we had reserved 3 lanes but were only using 2 (we just went with bigger teams). The men's bathroom.... 100% adequate. Which is saying a LOT for a bathroom found in a bowling alley. It was well maintained and very clean. I have been to bowling alleys all over the Province aside from a really fancy high end one in Toronto this is probably the second nicest bowling alley I have been too. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Great atmosphere and lots of fun. However, prices online are wrong and we drove from out of town to play. Very, very, very, very, very expensive. Did I say very expensive yet? Over $200 for a family of 4 to lay 2 games. Couldn't finish the 3rd cause we ran out of time and didn't want to pay another $50 to finish it. I won't be back unless I win the lottery lol

The laser tag was great. There was no delay and lots of fun for the 15mins. However, the bowling alley malfunctioned and the delay of the machine to get the pins reset was a bit upsetting. Overall, it was quite fun.

Great service for a staff Christmas party. The renovations are fabulous. But I do miss the silly animations when you get a strike, spare, etc. The updated arcade is more fun also. Glad you kept the pool tables!

We came to visit after new years and the lanes were nice and the place is clean. It's a great atmosphere. We came again a month later and were sad to see that the lanes were full but thankfully the arcades kept us busy and we still enjoyed our time here.

SO Disappointed! I was ready to start a new tradition of weekly bowling with my 2 boys. We were all very excited. Went from our indoor garage to being dropped off at their front door.. A sign there said IF your shoes are wet, remove them. We double checked ours- they were all dry, so we proceeded into a 90% empty bowling facility. 2 minutes in a very rude older man says- Hey take your shoes off, can't you read! I said- it says remove wet shoes, ours aren't wet. He said I guarantee you they are wet- take them off, my bowlers don't wanna die from wet floors. (the floor we were on was a 30+ year old carpet! No wonder the place was empty with rudeness like that! Well we will spend our $100 a week ($5k a year) somewhere else!

They have just completed a renovation of the bowling lanes this summer with a fresh new look. Automatic scoring which records your ball speed. The staff are always very helpful. The arcade will appeal too the young and the young at heart.

This is a great, upscale bowling alley! Came here for a date on a Wednesday and had a lot of fun. I would have given 5 stars but the Wednesday wing deal was VERY misleading. On their website it says "all you can eat wings and all night bowling for only $32 per person" but there turned out to be a time limit of 2 hours on the bowling. Upon asking the waitress, there seemed to be some confusion around it and as I was on a date, I did not want to push the issue further.

Went on date night with my S/O. For only $42, we got one and a half hours of bowling, shoes included, an 8 slice pizza, and ten dollars to play in the arcade with. We had a great time, it is a tremendous deal, and our server Shannon was fantastic. Will be back for sure.

Went there Friday night . 6 of us paid 75 bucks and they only gave us 1 hour to play . Time ran out and we had 2 frames left each . When we complained they said sorry there's nothing they could do we should have came up before time ran out . But they didn't tell us that when we started . Not impressed at all , and drinks are too expensive.

The place itself is very nice and clean. The food was great and the drinks are awesome as well. The laser tag and arcade create a cool atmosphere. It was my first time going as a group. Upon first arrival it seemed a little disorganized/chaotic with some of the staff. Our waitress was awesome though! They have touchscreen pads for bowling but the staff didn’t explain to us the different options or how to use it. To me that seemed like an important aspect of the experience there and some explanation behind how it worked would have been really appreciated. Other than that had a great and very memorable time. Hopefully the next time I come back with friends there’s a bit more improvement!

Booked on line for 2 lanes on November 27. When our party arrived one of the lanes wasn’t ready and there was a wait for more then twenty minutes for that one lane. Asked if I could cancel the one lane. Was told no problem. Since it was through a third party it would take a bit for a refund. A week later still no refund. Have called multiple times left my name and number haven’t had a phone call back. The manager every time I call has “just stepped out”.

The evening started out great! The place is beautiful, the staff were friendly & the food was good. We had a group of us & upon leaving I was told they took the leftover food & wouldn’t allow us to take it home due to health & safety! We had ordered extra not knowing exactly how many were coming so there was quite a bit left. I never heard of such a thing & we weren’t told when the food was ordered. Ridiculous...what a waste of food & money.

A lovely place (especially the renovated VIP area) with wonderful food and great bowling all at a very reasonable price. The issue I had was with reception. TLDR; Incompetent receptionist wastes our time. We didn't book a lane ahead of time because we weren't sure what time we'd arrive but looking at the online booking there were 18 open lanes so we assumed we'd be fine to book when we got there. We were told that there were no lanes available because of a tournament and that the family that got a lane minutes before us got the last available lane. Ok fair enough. But get this: even though they booked for 1 hr, we couldn't book for directly after them because they have first right to extend their time. Fine. We could however, guarantee a lane if we book it online. Ok, sure. Went to book online and there were lanes immediately available. I showed this to reception and she said, "no, it'll show an error if you try to book". So I did. And it went through. She mumbled something like, "the system must be not working" then went on to say that the only way we could play the lane we booked was to share a seating area with that other family (2 lanes, 1 seating area) mind you, during covid times. At this point we've been at this for 30 minutes so fine. The family was very accomidating and we enjoyed ourselves. The tournament shows up and what would you know, the VIP lanes (the only ones available online and the ones we booked) aren't being used. So the past 30 minutes that we shared the seating area with that other family and the 30 minutes before that we spent hassling with booking, we could've just spent bowling at our own distanced seats/lanes. I'm sure she realized this, but didn't bother to apologize or say anything when we went by her on our way out. Still had a great time but that particular staff member had no idea what was going on that day on her shift.

I used to go here as a kid, really loved the place, but now, not so sure. We sat down and had our order taken, but shortly afterwards we were informed that we couldn't sit there because the table was reserved for the League (no signs or indications anywhere). When I asked where we could get this information in the future, she told us they don't post it online, but all lanes reserved for the rest of the night except 2 and that it was "obvious" that the league reserves it. So because our server was very kind (bless her heart) we decided to stay and were told we would be seated in front of the remaining lane we could play on. We finished our meal and then when we go to play we are told that this lane (where they seated us) was reserved for the league! Turns out our lane is at the very end in the corner where the storage door is wide open and blocking from playing. So we just left. Absolutely never coming here again, very unwelcoming, rude treatment for people who don't play regularly and at the end, felt like they mislead us to get us to stay. The food and the very understanding server were the only redeeming qualities.

Went here for New Years eve. Booked 2 VIP lanes for 9 people. The place is nice. Service is mediocre to poor. They would not let us get our shoes prior to the start of our booking. They were 15 minutes late in giving us our lane without apology. Our personal server was mostly absent. And the cost was too high in my opinion. It cost more than $30/person for less than an hour and a half of play. We won't be going back.

We have been visiting this laser tag arena as it was close to the border. Arena is nice but the Gen8 pack I have been using had a bunch of issues which were pain - hence 2 stars deduction. Staff was friendly.

We always have a blast here - I've gone for work events, family events and date night. Fast paced & fun atmosphere, and wing night is the best! I think it's about $25 for all you can eat wings & bowling all night, such a great deal and its fun to mix up the wing flavours!

Had way too much fun here, bowling is not my strong suit but it is really fun. We got a killer 'date night' deal which included a pitcher of beer a medium pizza (may have been a large not sure) and two games of bowling as well as a few tokens to their new arcade. The arcade is very small but fun and the staff was very personable which I appreciate. We were able to get a cute prize with our tickets although I did buy extra tokens (and beer ????) definitely a great night out.
