It's a surprisingly large place, with at least 20 lanes. The equipment all seems to be in good condition and working properly. Even the player name and score display systems worked perfectly. My only complaint is the lighting, it wasn't just the usual dim mood lighting one expects from a bowling alley, this one also had flashing disco ball style spinning colour shifting lights. That was a bit distracting at times. Still, if you like bowling this place is worth checking out.

This place is absolutely terrible. We went with a party of 4 for cosmic bowling. First we get denied having 2 lanes because of "business". Then we get told they're putting 6 people to a lane and we had to share our lane with complete strangers. After this we are told we need to be moved again to another lane after bowling 3 frames to accommodate a larger group they had come in. All around this place was a mess, nobody could find a ball they were happy with. The customer service was so bad. After requesting a refund we were double charged, then finally refunding the whole amount. I will never be returning to this bowling alley.

Such a great, local business. Friendly staff, super accommodating owner, Jim, (as we're trying to plan a bday party for our daughter) and overall warm, comfortable atmosphere. Had a blast bowling and equally enjoyed the bar! We're new to the neighborhood and see this being one of our top spots to frequent. Definite 5 stars.

The staff was rude, when approaching the desk to get started I stood there for 5 minutes while the three employees sat on phones ignoring me. Each time I had to go up I had to wait for a staff member to come help, they were always ignoring the desk. The lanes are to slippery and difficult to bowl on. There are no ramps for young kids to bowl with. I spent money for 15 games and when we finished the first round of 5 we decided to leave. When we asked for the refund of $55 for the 10 games not played we were told they do not give refunds and we could have free game vouchers. We had to argue to get our money back and will never return.

Place was pretty good but Joel was kind of a jerk at the front desk. Had fun regardless though as it's, well, bowling. Have him work on customer service as it definitely changes how a place is perceived especially since he was responsible for our first impression of the place.

Great bowling center. Real wood lanes, modern scoring equipment. Recently renovated bar/lounge. The food is really good. The bathrooms need some work but they are clean. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good place to host a birthday party. Cosmic bowling, large screen music videos while bowling for the younger crowds. Summer hours now so call ahead.

Nice bowling experience. I was there during an organization event with a packed out bowling alley. We experienced some minor issues with our lane (screen displaying wrong order of pins) but the staff at Nautical Bowling was ever so attentive and helpful, no matter the huge amount of people there at the time. If you are in the Avon Lake area, stop by and bowl a game! Will be back again!

Small selection of balls. There was some sort of communication breakdown with the staff and they ended our bowling at the end of the 7th frame. There was nothing they could do and we were to pay for more games or leave.

The absolute best bowling alley in the area. Pricing is outrageously affordable and the staff is incredible. They have a great bar with surprisingly low prices as well as super friendly bartenders. Lastly, the owners are very involved, and are some of the most down to earth people I know.

We were bowling with a young child, and every time a ball was stuck half way down the lane, they retrieved it before we had to say anything. Staff was polite and very helpful. I would recommend Nautical Lanes for a good game of bowling.

Was highly disappointed, 4 of us to bowl on a Saturday afternoon $70.00 ok I can get over that, but they were moving furniture etc. For apparantely a band in the evening, but was interrupting our games, and then they turned the lights out on our games, finally tried to order a drink which took 20 minutes, will not return bbn or recommend

Great set up for a bowling alley. Food was great but the bowling experience terrible. 9 people that paid for 3 games and lanes cut off halfway thru 3rd frame of 3rd game. Management did terrible at resolving our issues. Obviously they cant do simple math. Will not go back or recommend this place for bowling

Great local spot!! we still call it Aquamarine without thinking though.. wonderful ambience- reasonable prices- great place to take the grandkids.Went here on a weekend afternoon with my oldest boy & his youngest 2- it's a good time for sure - there's snack to be had- pizza- chicken strips- cheese sticks- french fries Etc- plus they got a a cozy little bar! Yep. They will put bumpers up on the bowling lanes for the kids- no problem???? also they've got misc. video games as well-lockers if you need them.Thumbs up!
