Horrible experience, avoid this place if you care about your children. Went to Karttrak on Idylwyld. One member of our group got in his cart and it turned out to have no fuel. Instead of taking the cart off the track, the staff grabbed a can of gas and filled the tank while he was still sitting in the cart and splashed gasoline all over his back. When the kids got in the carts the staff did not check any of the safety belts or that the carts were mechanically operating correctly. Two of the carts did not have functioning breaks and I was later told by the manager/owner that brakes wear out and they don't have time to check them for every group. One of the riders was a 10 year old boy his brakes didn't function and the cart hit the side pile of tires and rolled over on him. The staff was paying no attention to or watching the track and didn't help until his mom was screaming. Then after flipping the cart right side up while the boy was crying instead of showing any compassion they got angry at him and said he must have been bumping into other cars and that's the only way it could tip over. That was not what happened and we had video to prove it. They were not watching at all but saying we were lying. While the kid was bleeding from the scratches and crying they then kept repeatedly telling the group including the scared mother mockingly "you signed the waiver there's nothing you can do" and to go home. Not one of the staff working asked if the kid was alright, they just kept telling the group to leave. Eventually the owner came and walked right past the group waiting to talk to him and talked to his staff but wouldn't approach us,. When I did get his attention he said he can't control what his staff does as they are all high school kids and seasonal. I said as owner your staffs actions reflect you and your business, he didn't agree. He eventually did ask if the kid was ok. The owner didn't seem like a bad person but didn't seem interested in fixing any of the problems. I usually don't write reviews I just don't go back. But I figured I'd let people know what to expect and maybe it can save somebody's child from getting hurt. This happened in August of 2017 I didn't post till now because I didn't think of it until a friend was gonna take his daughter, when I told him he said I should warn people and he's right.

It's extremely tacky to have political signs on your business, nonetheless keep it there for months after the election. Won't be going here when the snow melts despite my interest because I find it really unprofessional and in poor taste. And yes, I would say the same no matter the political affiliation. It's not the place to be doing that.

That was our first time at the place. My family and friends had a blast. Track is smaller but you can go with your little one. Perfect for families with small kids.

This is a great inner city outdoor race track. The go karts have been updated in the last few years and they are gas powered. A 10 year old should have no problem storing their own kart. We went on Tuesday because you pay $8 for 5min and then $2 for each additional 5mins. Ten minutes was more than enough time for use the go around. The track is small but has a few good turns. Two things I would suggest to make this business better would be to pave the whole site, move the tires around so different courses could be created and advertise on their Facebook for kids races. Kids sign up to race other kids their same age.

Been going there for years, absolutely roll cages might make some feel safer but realistically it would take A LOT for one of those things to roll. Have usually had nothing but laughs there but today one of the kids working there that gave instructions before we went for our 15 minutes did not mention anything about no bumping though some karts say no bumping he did not mention it before we started and could only tell the kids when nobody else was around that no more bumping and told one of the kids that if they crashed one more time he would be kicked off the track after I just paid 80 bucks for 15 minutes. Little boy with the cowboy boots should be careful and should have brought it up to the adults and not singled out a 10 year old. All in all I personally enjoy this place but whoever manages it should make sure that the children they hire to run it during the day have some better social skills with public and children especially, have an ounce of professionalism and actually want to be there. The steering wheels on some karts are very stiff turning to one side or the other and 10 year olds not having much driving skills can't keep complete control with a kart like that. The other 2 kids working there today 08/17 didn't seem to have a problem interacting with anybody and helping whatever way they could.

I don’t think I’ve ever been here but since Zuckerberg is watching my every step I guess he would think that I have since I’ve walked (and definitely biked) by it. I did notice at least a 1/4 of a dozen people in there one day having an absolute time so I figure it’s worthy of the old 5 star salute. I’ll come back and adjust this review if I end up going and it doesn’t live up to the hype.

We were two families. We went from Regina to Saskatoon yesterday and decided to take our kids to Karttrak Go-Karts. These Go-Karts are in the middle of Saskatoon down town and open air. The kids had a lot of fun because it was drizzling and the track was wet. Due to that reason, the Go-Karts were skidding a lot and the kids were having a lot of fun. Although it was slightly more expensive than Regina ($20 for 15 minutes), we had a good time. We will go there again whenever we are back in town.

Garbage! Karts are in need of MAJOR maintenance. Helmets do NOT come with hair nets, not sanitized or washed (very dirty). We could see other peoples hair in the helmets. The staff are a bunch of rednecks with zero customer service skills or respect. I requested my money back, but was told not to come back.

Had a great time! We were a couple of larger then life guys! We are actually Driving Instructor's, we came here to unwind after a defensive driving course! They were polite and very receptive! We will be back again this summer!!

I don't care what you say I know there's a lot of bad reviews on this place but it is by far the best go kart place in the city and one of the best that I've been to anywhere. It's a little rustic and beat up but the cars go fast the track is super fun and the danger involved just adds to the pleasure of being there. I can understand if you're super concerned about safety that place may not be up to your standards. But as far as children go and adults that like Adventure this place blows Wilson's out of the water that place sucks!
