You will see all the opinions of people who are using the services and products of Putting Edge Downtown (Bowling Alley) around Montreal area (Canada).
As of day this business has a score of 4.1 out of 5 and that rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an reviews average is quite positive, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the score is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to rate when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to put scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Bowling Alley is included in the category of Miniature golf course.
Really wouldn’t recommend this place. Mini putt is fun, but their music was absolutely *atrocious*. I can tolerate most music but this is straight up the worst wanna-be gangster rap music played on repeat I’ve ever heard in my life. Overpriced beer, mini putt was okay at best. Save your money and time for anything else.
This is a fun place. I didn't even know something like this existed right next to Concordia. Make sure you go with at least 2 other friends for making the best out of the moment.
Nice first experience I will definitely go to the one in laval as well
Went there with my friends for the first time and it was fun! My friends and I were a group of 4 so we had to be separated into 2 groups so one team started at the 1st obstacle and the other team at the 2nd obstacle. The team that started off at the 2nd obstacle would be able to do the 1st obstacle once we completed all the other ones. However, the moment the golf ball went in the hole at the 18th obstacle (which is the last), we weren’t able to retrieve the ball so we had to go ask for another ball. Other than that, the staffs were chill but lowkey unenthusiastic when we arrived. Will come back in the future with my family!
Great place to have some fun. Have a beer/drink while you mini put under blacklights or play in the arcade. Very nice staff!
Pros: The art is nice Minigolf is fun Employees are nice Cons: No wheelchair or disabled accessibility The stairs are falling apart The golf clubs are fairly dirty (at least they have hand sanitizer...)
Fun! 18 holes was about 45 min - 1 hr for a group of 4.
Great service. Challenging holes. But there is a bit of a wait time when there's a big party in front of you
Very cool design and mini-putt. The staff is okay, but the atmosphere is crazy! The black lights combined with the neon colours is perfect for kids and adults alike! There is also a cool and large arcade.
Went there with a friend and took about 45 minutes to finish the course. Will take more time with a bigger group. Time is unlimited and you can replay the holes as many times as you want except for the last hole which will eat your ball. Some holes are challenging and was very fun in general
It's an OK place to spend a little nice time. I went at evening time. I didn't liked service provided by the reception. Was my first time and I wasn't even explained what to do nor how it works. The place has a challenge on the wall and no one even mentioned it to us. I would recommend this place more for a family outing. I believe is less fun without children
Great experience, I recommend to any group size and age!
Fun golfing experience, customer service is bad, bought 2 tuango 4 players game coupon, 29$ value. It expired so i paid the difference for the 1st group(60$- 29$ coupon= 31$). Which is fine. For the 2nd coupon the owner didnt allow me to use it because it was a group of 2?! He made us paid 2x15$ and refuse to put the 29$ discount. I kinda ruined my experience. Ill never go again. So at the end it cost us 60$+29$ for the voucher=89$ for a miniputt game of 30 minutes..
We booked a T-time for 4 o'clock, as your websites covid-19 policy clearly states a reservation only. You state you have an increased Tee time interval to help physical distancing. You also claim a reduced capacity in effect. When we came in, 10 minutes before our Tee time, we found ourselves facing a crowd, piled up waiting to start. Maybe 10-15 people, no distancing reinforced what so ever. In the 5 minutes of waiting to pay, we crossed 3 people without a mask and one staff member wearing his nose out (might as well not wear a mask?) Mask policy was not reinforced by your staff, the small area before the course begins was packed with waiting people. This is not a safe place, and an outbreak from inside this establishment would not be surprising. We turned around and left. We regret making the reservation in the first place since this didn't even seem to be needed.
This was a great choice for my 12 year old son's birthday party! They took care of everything except the cake and the animator was very good with the kids. My only complaint is that the plates they supplied were styrofoam and the cutlery was plastic. The management should switch to paper plates and biodegradable or re-usable cutlery.
The course was really fun , put the prize wheel is a little pointless and it wouldn't be the greatest place for child birthday or a child party in my opinion. The guy at the counter was a little mean , but it's fine I have nothing against him.Basically is simply perfect fun for a 1 time date or when you feel bored.
Cool place to have a team building event! Lorne is a good dude, very friendly.
Amazing. The Arcades are cash only to get the token and there's no ATM. We're moving towards a cashless society barely anyone carry cash anymore. Other than that, amazing
I wasn’t sure what to expect, and it was a fun hour spent with colleagues from work, but I wouldn’t spend $14 to do it again. It’s really cool for kids I think but somewhat repetitive for adults and the holes are not different enough from one another.. I prefer outdoor mini golf.
A great activity to do with friends or even for a date itself. They serve alcohol so it makes the atmosphere more chill and great. The fact that the place is glowing with UV lights make it even more retro with the little arcade. We really had a great time.
would be 5 stars but my gf beat me by one point ! one point ! i was robbed !
Had a great time here with a group of coworkers. It wasn't too busy and we felt no pressure to hurry through the course. The employees there didn't seem very enthusiastic, but I attribute it to the lack of sun in the place (vitamin D = happiness, right?).
I was there today for my daughter who was attending a friend's birthday party. The animator, Lizzy, was extremely patient with all the children and knew exactly how to handle all the children. She also was a little more attentive to my daughter was youngest of all the group by a couple of years. She was very patient in teaching her on how to play mini golf. This gesture is extremely appreciated and shows that the staff is able to adapt to the children's needs. They are also there to help with anything else you need. I live a little far but definitely would go back the next time i want to play some mini-golf.
Arrived for an early game with the kids (11am sunday). The attendant seemed less than enthused to have to serve us. No smile, no small talk. Told us we had to keep our masks on at all times although she was not wearing one. Very dark, …
The night time staff member with the long hair was very helpful.
I had a wonderful late night glow-in-the-dark mini-putting experience with my friends here 2 weeks ago! On top of being downtown and located near some good bars, they also serve their own alcohol there. It's of course a very kid- friendly place too (especially during daytime hours), but it's definitely makes for a fun night out with people who are 18+!
The glow in the dark vibe is pretty nice, the course isn't too complicated, that could be a pro or a con depending on what you are looking for. Also has as a mini bar and mini arcade which is a good plus.
The light in the dark univers design course is full of fun. I had a great time and the quiz trivia on the walls were the icing on the cake - though we got most of them wrong ????.
I got a coupon through Tuango and for the price is was worth it (50% off). Not sure if at full price I would have found it to be as good a deal since the course is fairly small and the holes all have the same decor. There was one or two holes that were original, especially the last one, but it is a one shot hole. The black light aspect does not do much to alter the experience. Still for an indoor mini golf downtown Montreal it is worth it if you have a craving for mini golf and you can get there by metro.
Not bad per say but really small and not as cool as it looks in the photos. If you looking for a quick diversion tho it'll do.
Very average. Staff is not very experienced and has trouble managing a line of 10 people. The Laval course is alot bigger and diverse than this one. Overall, we had fun but owners should take some time and pay a surprise visit to evaluate their staff.
Nice place, had lots of fun. The entrance is a little hidden, so I nearly got lost. Pretty funky looking place.
Great place to go with kids or a date. There's another one in Laval with an even more impressive circuit, but this one is also nice!
Fun place to do something different. Was able to just walk in. I went a few years ago and nothing much has changed. I think it has a lot of potential to be more exciting. You can get drinks and i like That each hole has a trivia question. Reasonably Priced. Won't go back any time soon just because i think repeating the same course is kind of boring.
Nice indoor golf place with neon lighting and fair prices. Good place to take kids if it’s raining or to do something besides eating out with your friends.
Fun novelty place for some mini-putt with a twist: playing in the dark with glow sticks and black lights. The levels are varied, and the fact that everything is so dark makes it harder to see the level and curves on the floor, which makes for a greater challenge than normal mini-putt. Fun for an afternoon with friends, or a child's birthday party. They also have a few arcade games.
Honestly you better go to the St-Laurent location. This place was -Ok... The only reason we came was because we got a coupon. First problem is parking, of course Montreal downtown is a nightmare. …
We went in at 11pm, there wasn’t a single person there but they said they wouldn’t let us play because they were all booked. It’s like they were too lazy to get up from their seats and do their job?
Its a fun date night 35 mins of killing time if you're waiting on reservation. There's a bar with hard liquor and my favorite goto mini - putt drink is... white wine and slushie =)
It's fantastical! Just check the pictures of the inside. Everything glows. And mini putt too! The holes are fun and imaginative. The price wont break the bank, its not too expensive:). Great experience.
Fun place to go with friends, however I felt like the staff didn't really care to much about the customer. That could also just be me just guessing the workers who were there at the time however it is a fun place to go with friends if you wanna spend the night playing glow in the dark mini put.
Lots of fun. Drinks on the expensive side and there are many corners that need a good vacuuming. As a group of adults we had a lot of fun. It is mostly adults but I could see kids having fun too.
Pretty nice, no crazy obstacles and was kinda warm but still a pretty nice glow in the dark mini put/ arcade
The golfing itself was cool. I was there for a birthday party, and I found the space very cramped and kind of inconvenient. They just have a table off to the side in the lobby (and the lobby isn't spacious at all), no separate/closed room, so I felt like we were in the way of their other customers. Also, they only have 4 game machines in the arcade area. That's not too practical when you're hosting 10+ kids. I'd go back for the golf but I wouldn't have a party there.
Fun spot for an afternoon or evening activity. Black light Mini putting. So wear comfortable shoes and white or neon clothing. Good for a date or for bringing young kids or a group of friends. They serve alcohol. Reasonably priced and takes reservations.
A lot of fun, too crowded though.
Relatively fun for the price. You can also do another round for an extra $4. They also have arcades, which is a nice plus!
We had a lot of laughs and a great time :)
Really loves this place. The mini golf itself was very amusing because of all the special neon paint and the arcade was also very fun. Overall it’s a really good place to go with your friend or girlfriend!!
Fun way to spend a few hours indoors with friends during those dull days. Maybe it was the UV lights or the AirCon, but we ended up getting mildly nauseous after 2 hours indoors. But that's plenty enough to have a good time.
great place but often waiting for people ahead if you. I do not care about the score but there's no management against drunk players taking their time.
The decorations are nice, the golf courses interesting and it comes at a good price. Recommend!
Fun place for small or medium sized groups. The fact that they serve booze while you put in ultraviolet lite is awesome. Fun for adults and kids. They have my favorite arcade game from back in the day Time Crisis!
The place is small compared to the pictures on the website, the angles were the key for the pictures, bit nonetheless the mini putt experience was great. The More you bring friends, the more you will have fun. I went with my gf and we had …
Fun for all the family. Could be a bit scary for kids below 5.
Enjoyable time while visiting Montreal. FIRST EXPERIANCE for my wife mini-putting, and she had a blast! Thanks for a fun evening!!
I had a great time here with my boyfriend, we played 3 rounds and it got more fun each time
Not the best mini-put place I've been to.. but it was ok. Me and my friend had fun and staff is nice but the layers on the ground are a bit too enclaved and may cause people to trip and fall, as my friend tripped and hurt herself because of those raised layers. Apart from that, 3 stars for average game :)
We were visiting from Charleston, SC and really enjoyed PE. My 11 year old son’s were happy with cool black lights. I thought it was well maintained and had a friendly staff. Would visit again if I lived in Montreal
Cool spot, we experienced a bit of a wait but the music was good to ease the wait times
Great place for kids birthday parties... And adults too! (hint: they sell shooters). The courses are fun and colorful. Really a neat experience downtown Montreal
Fun place they have alcohol you can have drinks in there staff was amazing
Went here for a friend's birthday party. Clean place but I do not consider neon, glow in the dark putting as fun night out. Beer and drinks were of low quality. The decor of the place looks like it was painted by amateurs. I guess this venue is better for children, but they do cater to adults.
Had a few too many desserts while walking around DT? Need to kill some time before meeting up with others for dinner? Try some glow in the dark miniput. Pretty fun place, and some nice putting obstacles. Fun place to hang out and play a round =)
Great idea and cool premise, but they let way too many people in. It would be uncomfortably crowded around the harder holes even in normal times, let alone the pandemic.
Amazing venue and made for really great rainy day activity yesterday. Beer and a double round because your second round is only $4!! Friendly staff and clean venue. Highly recommend.
It's different and fun. But I expected a little more. There are some places that need cleaning, where I assume they think because it dark we can't see the dust. There's some arcade games for before or after. It's one of those activities that once is enough but I am still glad that I did it.
Recent renovations! New arcades (about 4 more games than before) and new nice bar-style seating area with luminescent tables. And as always, the full bar is great! Fun time. Reasonably priced too
I really like the place itself, very cool ambiance and usually nice music! But lately the staff has been more rude than usual... And not just once (I went twice in one week, 4 different staff members total and all were rude to us... No greetings, looked strained and tired).
Came here for a quick round of mini-golf. I enjoyed the glow in the dark aspect. Some holes were surprisingly tricky!! Will probably re-visit again.
Wasn’t very crazy! Lacked real challenge and variety. There were lots of missed opportunities to make it interesting. Some curves bits or more ramps would be a lot more fun
Fun little place, but I have to stress on the "little", it is definitely a short enjoyment. Approximately 30 minutes top (for a three person group). Especially when you try to read and answer the Quiz questions at each little putting area and you realise people behind you don't do the same and end up waiting after your group because of that.
If your thing is glow in the dark miniputt then you'll probably love it. Otherwise, well it's a bit overpriced but fun nonetheless if you have nothing better to do.
Fun place for an hour or so activity.
I never post reviews but Stephane and his coworker helped me out a lot today with a lil surprise for a special girl.. Great staff work! Minigolf was fun too. Good music just a lil too busy
Simple treat that don't cost much. Family, first date our just a hang with the friends. The only down part is that it's cramp up not enough room. That's what you get in any downtown location
A fun place to hang out with friends, glow in a dark ambience with upbeats music that makes you sing and dance along and it cost $15 for 18 holes.
Wow! Just had a birthday party there for my son and it was awesome! Friendly staff and enthusiastic, so much fun! I would 100% go back with my kids, or a fun day out with the friends. Got a full bar for adult fun too
The courses are fair but the space overall is quite small and tight. Depending if there is alot of people or not and of the time you go, sometimes you have to wait your turn until other teams and players are done a course. It is fun when you have a group of friends to go with but I would say between 4 to 6 players is enough. My friends and I spent at least just an hour and 15 minutes but that is because we took our time playing. So it is possible to complete the whole 18 courses within 40 minutes or less. The reason I rate it as 3 stars is because of the staff members at the front desk, they were not friendly looking and they hardly smile. They looked bored and unenthusiastic. Regardless, definitely not the kind of vibe you want to give to customers (it was my first time going on top of that). Overall, it is a fun, easy and a simple place if you are in Downtown and you want to be playful!
fun place but too expensive, can only play once and have to pay again for another go. Edit: i have changed my rating because of the owner answer, i dont remember seeing the 2 $ sign but i might have missed it, from 2 to 4 stars.
Very fun indoor golf with nice music
They should only market themselves for kids. The price is too high for the amount of fun you get, it's not challenging enough. The holes are too close to each other so you always end up bothering somebody. There are no multiple entry points so you're always waiting for the people in front of you instead of deciding to start at another hole.
Fun place to putt, but I must warn you if you choose to wear black... you’ll discover millions of pieces of paraphernalia occupying your shirt. Hairs, threads, crumbs and other miscellaneous items floating around and glowing in the dark.
Perfect for a date ! There’s a little bar in the place which has very good prices for the amount they give. The track has some fun enigmas to fill in while playing. Definitely coming back !
It’s ok, not much with too many people, cost me 30$ for 2 person. Kinda rip off. Not going back.
Not bad kinda cramped, meh music, good price, simple course
Was awesome! Big nice place
The staff was amazing tonight and I was super happy to see that young man speaks english, made my experience even better. The mini golf was also really fun.
We came in when the place was rather empty and it was very chill and pleasant. The staff was young and welcoming, I'd definitely recommend. Fantastic drink service as well (despite limited menu).
Went with my girlfriend this past Tuesday night. Staff was very friendly and they played great music while putting.
