My friends travelled from Sarnia to take me out for my birthday, so I chose to come to the Palasad on Adelaide. We all had a terrific time! Wonderful music that added to the atmosphere. It was clean and well maintained. The service was off the charts, the staff even brought me a nice cocktail that was on the house, as well as a delicious piece of decadent cake. My friends were impressed and said they'd love to return. I gave 4 stars and would have given 5 if the tortilla platter was better. The mixed platter of a variety of deep fried foods was the best of the 2, but I was disappointed with the tortilla chip platter, only because of the cheese sauce. The tortilla's themselves were delicious and all the items that they topped it with would have been so much better if they'd used real cheese, not the processed stuff, it made it inedible for 2 out of the 3 of us. If you're going to continue using that product on that platter I suggest you inform your customers prior to spending their hard earned money. Otherwise we all had a fantastic time! Big thanks to Justine and the staff for their excellent service! :)

Since the new reopening the prices have gone up quite a bit, $16 for a plain cheese pizza, nachos starting at $17, mozzy sticks for $10, and over $7 for 2 pops. I would go for cheap pool but that is it.

Great atmosphere, loved the renos, cold beer, friendly staff... But a little bit slow off the top of the evening! Sat around waiting for far too long, then stood around waiting far too long after we got to the pool table...bad for building business... they figured it out though and we had a good night

Went last week for my sons birthday and 1/2 price wings. The wood-fired pizza is excellent! Perfectly cooked crust and just the right amount of sauce. The chili-lime wings we had were a little dry, but the rest of the wings were tender and juicy. If you're not too hungry, order their Caesar. It comes loaded with garnishes including a spiralled dill pickle that doesn't seem to end! Our server was attentive, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for a great night!

The venue itself is a bit dated. If you're planning on going bowling or playing any of the other games I'd recommend visiting the south end location. Amazing wings and pizza though!

It was a nice atmosphere but the cost was very high for entertainment and food, and when I took my daughter to the bathroom sh tree wouldn't go because it was so dirty, paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor and the sink trough was clogged.

I have been a patron of Palasad for over a decade and always enjoy my time there! My most recent night there was particularly enjoyable due to the service we received. Our server was Rochelle, and she was wonderful! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, including finding me an extra bowling ball in the weight I needed! Our beers were cold and our pizza was delicious, as always. I will always recommend Palasad to people for a great night out :) Cheers!

You can split a pizza between three people to save money, during pandemic keep in mind that they have sanitizer at the entrance kinda tucked in the corner, and be sure to bring a mask when bowling or walking about the place.

visiting my Brother -Dad , his wife and my 2 nephews (from Aurora with my Niece we decided to go Bowling WOW BEST PIZZA I have ever had (not a big pizza lover) the Tacos were piled so high 6 of us could not quite finish them all The service was great we went bowling and my Niece ordered a cinabun pizza oh I am addicted To all of you at Palasad Thank You so much for a great experience I hope to be down on the Sept long weekend for more pizza

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is fun/retro/nostalgic, and it's family-friendly, student-friendly, gen X-friendly, and older adult-friendly - there is no age group that can't have a great time here. A++! JAN 2019 UPDATE: Just went for my first bowling trip post-renovation, and it was AWESOME. Love the new decor and new look. The arcade area is super fun, too!

Really great place after the renovations! We've done several escape rooms there now, and loved them all! Food is great at the restaurant - try the Buffalo cauliflower bites or the smoked mozzarella sticks! Yum!

The other location has more for kids this one is more for adults. They have a band over the bowling lanes which was different, they have pool tables and party rooms you can rent. Food is great!!

The new 'Palasad Social Bowl' (which looks just like the old palasad...) is nothing to write home about, if u ask me. We went there around 6pm to take my son bowling. The guy said it would be 45min-1hr which we weren't thrilled about but agreed to wait. We had already had dinner so ordered a pop and chocolate milk for my son (which they said they didnt have). After an hour I went back up to the front desk to inquire about how much longer it would be (keep in mind it's going on 7:30 now and my son is 6). They said it would probably be another 45mins-1hr. Are you kidding me??? At this rate we wouldn't get to bowl until 9pm... my son goes to bed by 9. And you can't make reservation...?!?!?! Its first come first serve. So either way.. I had to break my little guys heart and tell him we would have to come back another time... he cried... ???? this was something we had been talking about doing for like a month and were really looking forward to it... ???? needless to say.. when he visits next and we go bowling, It will not be the palasad !!

Our staff party was held here this season. I was very happy with how the evening went from start to finish. From the start they made planning the evening very easy the events coordinator did a great job! I have to commend our servers as I was impressed with how well they managed our events and food to make sure everything was on time and it ran very smooth. It showed there goal was that we have a great time and that was matched as my staff had a great time!

I was very disappointed when myself and group of 5 showed up to go bowling. I first tried to book online but for some reason wasn't accepting my credit card, so I went into location to pre-book & was advised by a very rude "cashier" at the bowling desk that I couldn't. Which is fine, rules are rules. It's just how he said it "absolutely not" as if he was offended that I asked. Anyways, so my group came back later thinking we would just wait. We were greeted by the rude cashier again, who was very condescending and said "sure, if you want to wait 3 hours". We get it, it was busy, but he had a really poor approach. So we decided to go to bowlarama instead. I doubt I'll be returning to this location again.

This place is absolutely gorgeous inside! Staff is friendly and vary helpful. The atmosphere is vary open and welcoming. The bowling lanes are some of the nicest I have ever seen! This is the place to go for good food as well! I recommend any of the pizzas and the nachos are amazing as well!

We eat here regularly and always appreciate the meals that we order and the staff that serves us. Cameron was our server tonight and was super friendly and attentive. We had pizza, a burger, and a combo plate and all of the meals were delicious. Between the four of us, we sampled all three desserts and they were amazing as well. We will keep going back and highly recommend Palasad North to anybody who is looking for great food at affordable prices.

I planned a work-related function here. Booking went okay. There were a few minor hiccups but nothing that couldn't be fixed right away. The food was delicious and great portions. My team did 2 escape rooms as well. Under Pressure and Mansion Murder. I only did Mansion Murder so I won't speak to the other one. It was a lot of fun and really well themed. Unfortunately a couple things went wrong while we did the escape room and the host had to come in at one point to fix a keypad. That was a bummer but other than that it went well. Mansion Murder is really hard so prepare to be stumped through a bunch of it!

TLDR: Really... odd experience. Not particularly horrible, but definitely wouldn't recommend. If Palasad South is an option for you, just go there instead. Waited ~10 minutes to be seated in the Eat Well area. Woman that seated us was surprised to see us and said something about us "hiding around the corner"... right next to the sign that said "Please wait here to be seated." It was not a busy night (half the Eat Well area appeared to be empty), but it took plenty of time for everything. Time for the waitress to show up and take drink orders. Time for the drinks (3 non-alcoholic drinks, one water) to show up, and the iced tea was further delayed because of an issue with the machine or something. Our order was super simple - a single 12" pepperoni and cheese pizza and a full chicken caesar salad... that's it. But the pizza took a significant amount of time to show up and the salad was 5-10 minutes behind it (weird). The waitress showed up a couple times to make sure everything was good, but our plates were empty for quite a while before she came by again and I could ask for the bill. Then another 8-10 minutes for her to show up with the bill and debit machine. Nothing particularly *terrible* about any of the service... just a really simple dinner that ended up being reallllly drawn out. Then... the bowling. When we checked in with our Groupon the guy told us we could eat first before we bowled and took our names and gave us our voucher. When we came back to bowl, we were told there'd be about an hour wait. I reminded him that we had already checked in before dinner and he was fortunately able to fit us in right away (though it took time for everything too, probably 10-15 minutes at the desk while he figured everything out). But the bowling experience itself was so weird/bad to the point of being hilarious. Not sure if this is simply a change since their renovations but the bowling now uses string bowling machines. It's said that the strings don't have any negative effects on the bowling itself, and maybe it was simply a coincidence and we just got a malfunctioning lane, but the scoring was alllll over the place. Not even remotely close to accurate. Every single frame had at least one mistake. I'd step up to bowl and before I could, the lane would mark that I got a strike (without even bowling) and it'd move on to the next person. My wife would bowl and knock down 6 pins and it would register she only knocked down 4, resetting two of the pins she did topple. My son would bowl for a spare, leave a pin standing, and still get the spare. And on several shots it appeared that pins that had no interaction with the ball or the other pins were still falling (it sure looked like the strings were interfering, but I couldn't say for sure). I gave up on trying to correct every single mistake (at least a dozen in the first round, and several in the second round) and we just tried to laugh it off and make the best of it. Seems like they've tried to fit as many lanes into a tight spot as possible too. Everything was very claustrophobic, no room for us to sit comfortably with large groups on both sides of us. Overall, just a really strange - consistently mediocre - experience. I'm glad it was a Groupon, because paying full price for everything would have definitely made for an even worse night. If Palasad South is an option for you, I'd just go there instead.

We had not been in since the renovation to the dining room and as both of us had a hankering for some dry rub wings we headed over after much better half was done work (we were already downtown so this was an easy choice). Definitely like the new look and as we were early we had the dining room pretty much to ourselves. We have Wednesday wing night pretty much down pat at this point so our starter salads arrived with our IPA's (two solid choices and nice to see local brews on tap) and what is already a great Caeser was just a little bit improved with a nice peppery note. For a half portion it is a very decent amount of food and always consistently good. Next up was our order of dry rub wings (it's how we roll) and once again they were spot on. Service was excellent with our server being friendly, helpful and not overbearing and James (one of the managers) checking in to make sure we were having a great meal. We are definitely going to default to this location more often and have decided to come back sooner rather than later for pizza and bowling with another couple as we had such an enjoyable time...and the vibe here is hard to top.

I used to live in London and decided - that while I visited - I'd eat at Palasad's for Wednesday's Wing Night for old times sakes. The food was great and our server Jessica was busy but attentive. The Palasad has plenty of things to do from playing games in the arcade to playing a game of bowling or pool. We went to bowl and grab a bite after we were done on March 30th. Though very helpful with bowling when the pins were getting stuck continually, granting us extra time was very courteous. Although, when we decided to grab some food when we finished we took a seat in the bar area and were continuously ignored for over 30 minutes. This isn't the first time we have had poor service, but we decided to give it another shot to see if things had improved.... they certainly have not. We were never even approached for a drink order before we decided to just call it a loss and take our business elsewhere.

Love the appetizers (bacon wrapped pickles and fried cream cheese jalepeno). I had the apple goat cheese salad which was not bad but not my favorite version of that salad I've tried. The cocktails were fun and fancy, some are smaller than expected but delicious :) Our server Hailee was awesome, very attentive, readily available to order drinks, brought everything we needed and kept our table clear. Great time, and love the look and atmosphere :)

I have been several times and the food has been amazing. Authentic Italian food with friendly staff and amazing managers. They hosted my works Nandos Christmas party and it was absolutely AMAZING !!! We had crispy spicy wings and delicious pizza and our host jackomoe was very kind (Pretty sexy????). This place is a perfect spot to hang out with family and friends. Affordable bowling, food and an arcade. I LOVE THIS PLACE !! Would 100% recommend

The food was great and the service was good, but the bowling lane kept on breaking down. They were prompt in fixing it and gave us free time to make up for it, but we didn't really want to play longer. The bowling lanes and video games all look a bit rough around the edges/shabby and look like they haven't been maintained much since they installed them. If you're going to bowl or play games, you'll have a better time at the South location.

Slow service, waited 15 min for a menu and then an hour for food that they delivered to the wrong table. It was later admitted our order was never properly put through the system which is why countless people received food first. The waitress avoided us entirely - came to take our order & give a drink refill and then wouldn’t make eye contact for the rest of our stay. We left absolutely starving. Attended the NYE 'event' this year with my siblings and I have to undoubtedly agree with a few other recent posts regarding the disorganization for the day. Firstly, the days event was booked prior (and online), however there was no mention of going to the counter to sign-up for a specific hourly time for pool and bowling; we went to front desk only out of curiosity to find this to be the case. Secondly, while not an entirely huge ordeal, it was somewhat advertised as unlimited bowling, while in actuality, it was more like "unlimited bowling for 1 hour". Nonetheless the bowling lanes were enjoyable with up-to-date technology and graphics and reasonably spacious. The most disappointing aspect of the entire 'event' was the complete disorganization for the serving (from some, BUT not all the staff). While it seemed there was a plentiful number of staff for serving, it seemed as if no individual had a certain area to watch for, causing too much of the staff wandering over locations that have already been looked after and thereby neglecting others. As an example, we waited OVER 30 minutes for our dessert only to be told "there is only 1 left, not 2". At the very least, the staff should have returned to us to 1) notify this way prior to 30 minutes, 2) offer the dessert free given the wait, and 3) give us the option to choose another dessert on the menu. I hope to see the management team address the service; I am typically incredibly patient and lenient but this could be some of the worst service I have seen from any restaurant - perhaps the worst I have ever seen.

I was here last Sunday with my kids and It looked such as a big UNORGANISED place where there are plenty of staff but who cares about costumer right ? Bowling computer sytem shut down in the middle of thr game. We asked a guy he just started one day ago where can we order food while we playing after 30 min. However Perry tried to helped us up to rushed our order with his nicecostumer service but we got a pizza what fall apart from the crust snd coke taste water. We bought like 6 cards on games but one we were interested our cards does not work but others work great. Staff had no clue why. Staff looks misarrable and looklike sometimes no clue what they need to do. They did not have a RAMP FOR KIDS seriously ?!?

The newly revamped Palasad has a new look and a different menu from the South end location. The renovations look fine, but I'm not sure why the need to change the menu. I have been to the South end location numerous times and always found the menu to be a step above many of the Roadhouse/Bar & Grill competitors. Unfortunately, the new menu is not an upgrade. I understand the logic behind the menu, but when you use common menu titles and terminology, customers have certain expectations. For example, I ordered a small Caprese salad, which I have ordered numerous times elsewhere. What I received was more of a chopped Caprese, which appeared to be alot like a bowl of bruschetta mix; for a $8.00 small portion, I expected better. To make matters worse, the whole table I was with either received both appetizers and entrees at the same time, or in my case, after my pizza had been delivered to the table. The guests I was with also had issues with the food, but I'm only going to relate my experience. I much prefer the South London location.

We came here for a free pizza that we had after doing an escape room at Escapology. We also ordered the cheesy garlic bread and BLT sliders. All of the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. It was crazy busy because it was Family Day but the service was still excellent and friendly! We had to wait for about an hour to get a lane for bowling but the staff offset the wait by giving us a few game cards for the arcade and comping us a couple soft drinks while we waited. Supper was delicious as well! Pizza was cooked perfectly and the angry bird chicken sandwich was damn tasty!

My experience wasn't the best. Bowling was expensive and the ball return on the lanes malfunctioned numerous times. Staff were friendly and did their best to help, but offered no compensation for my lackluster experience, which was disappointing. I won't be going back anytime soon. UPDATE: Palasad has recently addressed my concerns and offered compensation. For this, I'm grateful. My second experience was much better, hence the improved rating.

I like Palasad over Fleatway. I usually go for bowling and pool table. I have tried bowling and pool table at both places and in my opinion the bowling ball is more comfortable to grab at Palasad but I think the bowling line is shorter. Also pool table quality feels good at Palasad. They are open now with some covid restrictions. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Good parking is available at all places. Definitely recommend for indoor game fun.

Or you want to try your hand at "the claw" to win a prize or race to the finish in one of their many arcade games. From bowling to the newly added escape rooms. To just dining in there isnt a shortage of things to do there! Great variety on their menu for main dishes and appetizers to pick from and even lots of drinks to wet the whistle. The bowling and food is great, but arcade is not kept well. Played one game that was broken and didn't count your score at all. Told front desk and they said they would unplug the machine. When I was leaving about 30 minutes later it was still running and taking peoples money. Told front desk again and they gave the generic answer again and did nothing. Hi, my concerns involved how i had to ask four different times to 3 different people to have the light at our pool table turned on, but still had to pay the full hour. And we had ordered your hot onion rings and the sauce had not been included causing more delays before we could even enjoy them too. Having pay per play (coinOp) tables it would not have been an issue. We havent been back since (this place is across the city) which is the only reason I have yet to provide an updated review.

Food is not that bad kinda slow even for a dead night. Not that many allergic friendly options, and not really kid friendly either but we didn't get a kids menu. The bowling there is the same a few lanes not that many changes there. The arcade now sucks, same price as Pasald South but no prizes plus you can't use Pasald south game card either. This place is now towards drinking and not really that fun.

Great place to play pool by the hour rather than by the rack which I always like better. The service here is extremely slow, i recommend ordering 2 drinks at once or you're going to be thirsty. they do laser tag here as well which is lesser known. I think they do all you can play on sundays.

The revamped menu is awful. It's difficult to figure out. We wanted wings....Honey Garlic and Medium hot, neither of which they had. We were told of what would be "close". Pop was watered down. Impossible to thoroughly clean the bottles water is served in. Blech! My water glass had a crack in it as did someone else's glass for pop. Food itself was only average. Sorry but I won't waste my $ here again.

Recently renovated place and so looks nice. Great place to spend time with friends. Good service as always but the process of getting credit cards for tabs can be avoided. My friend's credit card got swapped with someone else's card. Also, any individual can take a picture of the card and use it for online purchase. Although the manager did what he can to help us and make sure we come back, I would like to see a better process in place. Please look into this.

I had the worst service imaginable from the waitresses. First I had to wait 10 minutes to get a menu. Then 15 minutes to get my bottle of wine which I had to reselect twice because they were sold out of my first two choices. I watched numerous tables be seated and be served drinks before my group. What I feel is, Palasad is not explored by london people properly. It's not just a bowling alley or a place for other game like (pool), they have pretty cool patio as well. The bar area and dine in is as good as any other bar in town. Besides bowling, the food quality is really good. I would recommend the Mushroom Pizza (very unique and good for your taste buds!!) And Nachos. Their Chicken Nachos is one of the best in town I ever had. I would seriously recommend to check-out the patio, it's really nice! And the graffiti on the wall makes it totally different kinda patio. They are good with the services and follow all COVID rules.

Top notch service, great food and atmosphere, like always we were very well taken care of. Love the mushroom pizza, grilled cheese sandwich has SOOOO much cheese and is really delicious. Pool tables and cues are good quality, and there's a good variety of games that are fun, new, and also in good condition. The whole place is very polished, decor super cute modern retro. They had a great band last night, and I'm not one to ever say this, but for the atmosphere the music was too loud, we couldn't hear each other unless standing very close and yelling, or when there was a break in the music - that would be my only recommendation.

The key selling points of this location are the wide array of arcade games on offer and the low cost of the various games. If you want to spend a lot of time playing billiards, arcade games or bowling, this is the place to go to. It is however not in the best part of town and is considered a budget option in its category.

Grabbed a nice dinner out after getting the email that they were open for limited dining in option. Had some nice crispy wings, and our usual salad and beer options. COVID safety a top priority here and unfortunately it seems some folks are making reservations (as limited as the space they have open is) and not showing up. Our server (James) was spot on with service and product knowledge and we felt more than safe with all the precautions that were in evidence. Hopefully we can return for a more robust evening's entertainment as the situation allows. This is truly a great space in North London for dining and entertainment and fingers crossed they remain so. They also seem to have their takeout food game well in hand for those looking for some other options.

Just enjoyed a terrific VIP experience at Palasad Social bowl :) I enjoyed the drink that was themed after their escape room... Under pressure. With a submarine theme. A tasty beverage that is fun to watch being made with key ingredients like pressurized foam with a fresh Thyme sprig in a beautiful champagne glass. The graffiti on the wall is art and quite good. There's a bus in the middle of the bowling lanes that serves alcohol!!! I played all the games and destroyed in air hockey. I been trying to reserve two lanes and restaurant service for 12 people for the past TWO WEEKS. I left 3 messages over the phone in both available extensions. I called SEVERAL times at different times of the day and nobody EVER picked up the phone. I went IN PERSON on Saturday March 9 and NOT EVEN THEN the manager ( I would assume it was some kind of manager) couldn’t help me because they were pushing me to get into a “special event group “ with a way pricier and limited menu that wasn’t appealing to us. I was told to email Ruth and was reassured Ruth would contact me on Monday to make this happen. I was planning to talk to Ruth about not doing a group event since we only wanted TWO LANES AND HAVE DINNER AFTER. Ruth never replied to me. The manager on Saturday took my name and phone number and didn’t contact me either. I just hung up the phone with Fleetway. Less than a minute took to reserve two lanes and restaurant Pizza Projekt after. I can’t believe that not even in person a $$$ GROUP OF TWELVE $$$ wasn’t enough motivation to book us. It’s safe to say our business is not wanted at Social Bowl and so our business will go somewhere else.

Food is good and it's a fun place to go, unfortunately this time around we never got served and the only time a server came over was to ask us to move because the table was reserved in 40 mins. Tried to order food at the bar and they said a server will be over to help us, but the server never came. Staff is friendly, they must have had a missing server or 2. I recommend this place if you want to play pool or bowl and only want drinks and don't mind going to the bar to get them. We still had fun but getting food would have been nice. Had a great night at Palasad SocialBowl the other night! I hadn't been before the renovations, but the interior was wonderfully decorated. Their service was amazing as well. We were fitted with shoes by Nicole at the front desk, who was the sweetest. We spent the night playing pool, bowling and playing table tennis. There was a great selection of arcade games and an escape room to enjoy as well! To top it off, we had some drinks and shared a few pizzas which were all so delicious. On paper, this place is great. Food is decent, beer is ok, and lots of games and activities, but when you dig a bit deeper, it lacks in many regards. Credit where credit is due, the pizza is really good, but the rest of the food is just ok. Beer selection is decent but you get 16oz at prices that may seem like you're paying for 20oz. The food is rather expensive for what it is. You can justify the pizza maybe, but everything else seems a bit overpriced. The bowling lanes were malfunctioning when we were playing, and the arcade was completely shut down.

Where to start.... During COVID our family of 5 has done our part and stayed home. After 8 months we decided to pop in at the Palasad Social Bowl for supper and a little bowling. This turned in to us staying for 5 hours!! We had SOOO much fun! I think what made us feel so safe was seeing employees CONSTANTLY walking around sanitizing and wiping things down. They also had barriers set up between lanes to protect you from others. My boys had never done 10 pin bowling before or ever been to an Arcade, so the smiles on their faces was price less! We also decided to sign up for the Scooby Doo Escape Room. I didn't think my 4 year old would have the attention span to be in that room for an hour. But when there are secret doors that open to another room, spooky music, and lights that catch your eye, they were right into it!! And even my wife and I had a blast! No one is to young or to old for this... With all the negative news in 2020 this was a night to remember!

Service was not good, waitress came but around once an hour, couldn't remember what beer was on tap. However the pool tables are still nice, and the price reasonable.

Absolutely terrible service. Recognizing it is a "soft" opening you would still expect, no I would expect more to see the manager(s) on top of their staff having them greet and serve all visitors. Upon arriving we asked about ordering pizza and the barkeep provided us with menus and said that she would send someone down to the tables in the path on route to the video games. Over the course of 1.5 hours about 6 staff members walked by and not a word was spoken to us and 2 dirty glasses already there before we arrived sat on the tables the whole time. To make matters worth the unlimited 1.5 hour play cards that we purchased for our kids were actially limited to 120 credits and then we had to line back up (time wasted) for another 120 credits that the manager had to approve. Celebrated several big events there in past but rest assured I won't be back. Very disappointing indeed. I really hate posting negative reviews at all but this was bad, my suggestion if you want a $13 glass of wine or 1.5 oz shot drink or a $22 12inch pizza...sit somewhere that isn't clearly out in the open to be greeted.

For the second time, we've found the service severely lacking. Exactly what happened before, and worse. On Sunday afternoon, we went for some billiards and food and once our 'server' gave us the drink menus, never came back. Had to go to the bar and ask. Once we were done playing, we told two staff members, including the server, that we were going to sit down and order food. We sat there for 15 minutes, with only one other table being used and were completely ignored. We got up and left. The young servers were too preoccupied watching and talking amongst themselves and helping a group of bowlers. We counted four standing there. It was atrocious. Will not return.

We had a wonderful family night for dinner and fun at the arcade. The customer service from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out was superb. Our waitress was Jolene and she was lovely and made us feel right at home. Each staff member we interacted with us was super kind and a few of them gave our 11 year old extra game cards. Which was so kind. There was so much food and they make the best sweet potato fries I've ever had! I have been coming to this palasad for the last few years now and have to say I really do enjoy it. The food, atmosphere and service is great. I noticed that they have been raising their prices on food probably because of the minimum wage increase but 17.99 for a plate of nachos is insane, I won't be purchasing that anymore. The one thing that really annoyed me was the lack of servers they had the last time I was there. We had 1 server for ALL POOL TABLES AND SOME OF THE OTHER DINNING TABLES, THAT'S HALF THE RESTAURANT. The pool area was packed with multiple people at each table and this poor girl was running around trying to do her absolute best but clearly she could only do so much. It was taking a while but that's completely understandable, she had lots of people trying to follow her to order drinks and food. A tip to the owner, manager or whoever the hell makes the schedule, STOP BEING SO CHEAP AND THROW ON MORE STAFF!! I felt so bad for that girl, damn! A place I would visit to eat and drink BUT DEFINITELY NOT WORK FOR.

After confirming all of our orders again, we waited the bills where everyones 1/2 priced wednesday wings were itemized in full price and needed to be corrected. After spending $150 and chasing the waitress around to get a drink and menu while the serving staff grouped around the bar to socialize I could not get over the mess and disorganization of dirty tables and chairs everywhere it was like walking through a maze at 1:30 in the afternoon from the time we finally received a menu hunted down our waitress and received our food ,this was more than 2 hours this was upsetting to our kids as they were hungry after bowling and we wont be returning back i can find another establishment to spend my $150 to take my family out and attain better service clean environment and more professional servers

Where do I start? The atmosphere has something familiar about it, but completely revamped. The layout is welcoming, and open. The dining situation provides a view of the kitchen so you can see all of the work going into making your food. A very cool experience. The new food menu is just insanely good. The chicken tacos alone are enough to bring me back, but it doesn't stop there. They added a new twist to old favourites like the chicken wings, and pizza. I can't wait to try the more of the menu. The drink selection has so much to offer now as well. As a huge fan of craft beers, they've got something for every palate. The new cocktail list....wow. My goal is to try every single one. They're unique, delicious, and quite fairly priced. The quality is what gets you because everything is made in house. Lastly, the escape rooms are a welcomed addition. The price is great, and the production value even better. I have about 10 escape rooms under my belt and these are the best looking by far. They're a ton of fun, and the game masters are hilarious. All in all, Palasad SocialBowl is a one stop shop for a great night out.

Took my boys to Palisad social bowl tonight for some bowling and pizza. I have to say the staff was fantastic super friendly super helpful and attentive. Our server Krystal in particular was awesome couldn't ask for better. Had a great time felt very safe comfortable and relaxed nice clean environment all necessary precautions being taken very easy to social distance and still have a great time! The pizza was also absolutely delicious as always. Can't wait to go back again!

Very disappointed - we ate in the Eat Well section (not the bar) because they said we’d get 25% off, got the final bill and it was not discounted. Food was disappointing compared to what it used to be. We wanted to bowl and it was fully booked all night so we bought a card for the arcade. went to palasad on 2nd of nov 2016, walked into the restaurant area nobody asked us if we wanted a table, so we decided to take a seat after waiting 5 mins, then one server came n told us that the tables we were sitting at was closed so please find another seat( like literally)... find another seat? so when we went looking for another seat, we dint don't find one for 3 people so stood there for 15 mins no one showed up asking if we wanted one. the only thing i understood was either they throw u out of ur seat n then ask you to find another by yourself and not help. except for the one girl at the entrance who saw us walk out was nice enough to apologize n offered to help but then we decided we been waiting long enough. every time i go this place the servers are rude so i just ignore thinking they might have had a tough day, but then when its consistent, the attitude is really bad. so never walking into this disrespectful place again. and thanks for messing up my birthday dinner.

I've had corporate parties here twice and both times, they've been great fun. We had ordered an array of food (salad, wings, pizza, assorted hors d'oeuvres) which was all quite good. The servers were excellent at coming by to take more drink orders and delivering them to the right people, which is rare when in large parties. I would definitely recommend this as a place for just a few friends or large parties.

My family and I went to the palasad last night for dinner & bowling. Both were equally disappointing. The service was really slow, we ordered nachos and all it came with was cheese and jalapenos. The waiter forgot my beer and when we complained, all we got was credits for the arcade that we didn't even want to do. After waiting 2 hours to bowl (which was fine as we expected a long wait) our lane kept malfunctioning. It was not a good experience at all.

One thing I want to make people aware of is how their tipping system works if they have a group party. This was explained to me by someone who works there, and being in the service industry myself, I was completely appalled. For any group that PREORDERS food (which means that there is definitely an auto gratuity included), the kitchen staff get 2/3 of the tip. That means that if your bill is 1000.00 of food, with a 150.00 auto gratuity built in, the kitchen get 100.00. The remaining 50.00 is split between all floor staff (bartenders, bussers, hosts, servers.) Those servers who worked all night for that party would be lucky to walk out with 50.00 if the party doesn't leave anything extra on top for them. The kicker? They are not allowed (by any means) to tell the parties how the tip it split up. The owners or managers would rather their servers make no money, in order to save face and not have to pay their kitchen staff more money by giving them such huge tips. There is not one place I have worked where this has been the case and it doesn't make any sense. Not only are they ripping off people with their prices for most things, their servers are getting shafted. Think about this if you plan on taking a big group there and pre ordering your food. The server will make what they actually deserve if you order as much as possible on the spot, then they don't have to give it all to the kitchen. Completely ridiculous. Oh, I've also heard of them making servers return their extra tip if the customer has somehow found out about where the majority of the money actually goes, and complains. BS.

I guenuinely have not experienced service as weird as this. We originally only came to the Escapeology (group of 8) for an escape room, and they ended up going into Palasad for some food after our game was done. We got three free appetizer coupons from the escape room which was awesome, and we’re planning on ordering dinner after that as well. We picked a table just behind the bowling lanes, and waited for someone to come over. After almost 15 minutes we had enough of waiting and had to ask three different people if someone could come over and give us menus and take our orders. There were 4 out of the 8 of us who work in the industry, and this was unbelievable to us. We went to the host, she said she would send someone over. Then I walked up to the bartender and asked for someone to come over; again, they said someone would be right over. Then a third time we had to walk into the restaraunt and ask if someone was still coming. Then 5 minutes after the last time we walked over to staff, a server finally came over. He didn’t have very much product knowledge. Made it seem like he had never looked at the menu before, didn’t know the daily drink feature deals, and couldn’t name any of the wines by the glass to us ( there is no drink list provided on the tables, and if your staff doesn’t know them this is clearly an issue). Half of us settled for water because it was getting pretty rediculous when any questions we asked about drinks were not answered and unknown to our server. We FINALLY ordered our appetizers first and then decided on dinner. The apps came out together which was good. Then when we ordered dinner, and when it was ready, our server brought all 6 plates out at separate times (5 mins between each plate). It’s mind-blowing to me that this was even considered an appropriate course of action. Mine came first, I obviously waited for other people’s food because- let’s face it- who wants to eat alone and then watch others eat when you’re done. One-by-one the entrees were delivered, but by this time nothing was hot. We ordered several of the slider dishes, and even the last to arrive still weren’t really hot at all... the portabella sliders were okay (the only thing I had tasted myself of the entrees). As a server myself, I tend to be a little more lenient towards others in the industry... I get it, stuff happens and mistakes are made, everyone’s human. But honestly, I will not be coming back here. This was complete unorganization, lack of communication amungst staff, complete lack of product knowledge, and most of the service didn’t make sense at all! The only way I would set foot in this place again, is completely because of the Escape room. It was fun; although, they had 3 issues with things being broken, keys not working, and locks not opening when the correct numbers were inputted. They did give us all a gift card for a free game next time, because we had so many issues, which we all appreciated. *****ALSO, I don’t particially enjoy being poked with a pen by your service staff, if they’re trying to get my attention. I can’t do anything but laugh to be honest, because I could not believe that it was happening. WHO does that?!?

Fun place, and good food and friendly staff, but the service is absolutely terrible. They are always understaffed for servers and their servers don't move with any regard to accommodating people in a timely manner. I guess they have no interest in making more money. I've been going there ever since it opened it's doors and the service has always been lousy, doesn't even matter if it's busy or not. (read the rest of the reviews, people say the same thing) Last night we waited over 45 mins before we got a drink. We first waited 35 mins after arriving for a server to even come into our area and no one did. Eventually we went up to the bar and asked for drinks only to be told to "wait for a server" so we did, and again no one in sight. We finally complained and server was finally brought over, took our order and returned with water and said it would be a while before we would be served our drinks as "the bar is busy". I only asked for a glass of wine, I din't ask for some elaborate cocktail to be concocted. It's so infuriating because this is how this service has always been since the doors opened. Last night we also waited the same amount of time for a billiards table, when we were told only 15 mins, yet I saw people who arrived after us come and go on the tables the entire time. Again we didn't finally get our table until we complained. We were given a table in a back corner away from all the other tables. The table had no seating or even a place to set our drinks on. Beyond that it can be a fun place if you can be patient with the lengthy time it takes to get service or to secure a pool table or bowling lane. Last night was over 2 hour wait to secure a bowling lane.

The girlfriend and I went to the one on Adelaide. Had to ask 3 people to come take our order by the arcade. When a waitress finally came, she was good and prompt with our food and drinks (she got the extra star). The food seemed pretty stale, we just got the munchie platter. When we got the arcade cards we didn't get the bonus tokens as advertised. And the prize machine was broken at the end. Had to call someone over to fix it. Not a very good experience compared to somewhere like wacky wings (Brantford). Probably won't be going there again unless it's just for drinks.

While the new renovation looks great the service for the NYE event was terribly unorganized. New menu is very underwhelming especially for a bowling alley. No nachos? Mozzarella sticks? Or any type of pub grub you would expect. Also quite expensive. $17 for 6 chicken wings covered in sprigs of dill and a few pieces of cucumbers drizzled in ranch dressing. Seems like they are trying a bit too hard.

Usually pretty quick to get either a pool table or a bowling lane, even on the weekend. Unlimited bowling on Saturday after 10 is a pretty good deal if you're a small group. Table service at the lanes and pool tables is convenient so you don't have to interrupt your game to get food and drinks. The only downside is the food and drinks are kind of pricy.

Really enjoyed my visit , we came for my birthday dinner and some rounds of pool. Was 1/2 price pizza night which was awesome cause they do a nice pizza. Food wasn't the best at this location. Had the burger sliders which came out kind of dry and lacked much flavour. I also ordered the buffalo cauliflower which I didn't finish even half of - the cauliflower pieces came deep-fried which made it have kind of a meat smell to them which threw me off a bit. Me and my group also played at the arcade there. It's a pretty small collection of games and there were any prizes we could see like you would at a typical arcade.

I have never in my entire life have been abused as the night I decided to go to Palasad for my first time. I have just recently suffered the loss of my best friend (My one and only sister) After spending the last 2 and a half months in mourning, only leaving my house to go to my full time job. My husband of 9 and a half years finally gave me enough courage to go out with him for the night and celebrate our years together and life itself again. As this being our first time in an establishment such as this before (with mulpitle choices of entertainment such as pool tables, bowling, table tennis and so on) He could not resist the smile that he was finally able to put back on my face, after the tragic loss of my sister. (I use to play proffesional pool back 15 years ago.) I was finally able to leave my house and celebrate mine and my husbands life together again, only to be verbally interrogated by one of the "security guards" and the "manager". They rudely interrupted our first game of bowling.. Whilst looking at the food menu and Jillian (our lovely server) giving us suggestions on what is tasty food to order, we were ambushed and yelled at so loud that the background music was blurred out and both the " security guard" and "manager" came over stopped our game of bowling ( which at this time my husband and I were neck and neck l, myself with a score of 108 and my husband of 98) we were told that bc of us verbally yelling at our wonderful server Jillian we have to leave and they will no longer serve us anything from the menu. (Our server Jillian turning all red and responding back to them with an astonished look on her face and disbelief that this was happening that we have done nothing wrong!?) Im being yelled at by the "security guard", " why are you acting like this, this is why we are kickin you out of here".. Wow my apologies for stepping foot in this disgusting place you disrespectful human being. Do not EVER talk to me like that again.. I have no more words.. After everything I have been through these last 16 months I cannot wait until I see this place shut down. What it comes down to, after security making a scene and accusing us of mistreating our lovely server (whilst she was standing right beside me standing up for US in utter disbelief of what your employees have done to us) I will say that our night turned around for the better. After we were made to look like fools at Palasad, we took our business to a well known restaurant down the street to eat dinner as we were planning to do. After telling them of what disgusting treatment we have just been through, they offered to discount our entrées and suggested a beautiful bottle of wine for my husband and I to try out for the rest of our night. Very glad we were able to receive wonderful service from a professional establishment in the end.

I came here while I was on a mission to move out of my apartment. Palasad SocialBowl was a great place to escape the craziness of the move and have some great food with the friends that had been helping me move. The food was amazing, my girl friend really loved pickle caesar. I also found that even though I have big eyes and ordered to much food, everything we got reheated very well. All together it would definitely a work while experience.

We have been to this location twice now. The first time was amazing, the second time our lane was having trouble. The staff were very attentive and in the end they were unable to fix it. I would like to thank the manager for taking care of the problem. The atmosphere is great, we played pool, had drinks and most of all fun. I would definitely recommend this bowling alley to anyone. Thank you to Wendy for being such a great and attentive server (and remembering our drinks). You're the best.

horrible customer service. sat at lane for 20 minutes without someone coming to ask about food or drinks. had to go up to the bar to ask to get drinks ourselves and personally ask for someone to wait on us because nobody knows how to do their job here. horrible food service as well because i’ve been waiting 40 minutes for basic food that should take max 20.

The bowling was fun but I don't like how you have to pay for one hour increments. If you're halfway through a game, you will get cut off and have to pay for an additional hour. There should be at least a half hour option or let the game finish if there is nobody waiting for the lane. The service was quite poor here as well, we waited for a long time for servers to come over to us yet they were standing around doing nothing.

No more Pitchers? What is more "Social" than grabbing a pitcher, a wood oven pizza, and bowling with your friends? While the rebranding physically looks good, it appears the menu and it's pricing is an attempt to make this into an in fashion hotspot. A group of us would visit palasad at least twice a week after training, and the reason they needed a rebranding I would assume was the fact that they had the worst service in London. It actually became entertaining going in there to see how bad it could get. We no longer frequent this location. Since the rebrand, we had a work party there, they stick you in the front room which is about as exciting as watching traffic on Adelaide can be. I will mention that the service was noticeably better, however my overall rating of the remodeling could be summarized as " slapping lipstick on a pig."

Renovations are nice. I visit hear fairly often to play pool with friends/family, usually ordering a very overpriced bowl of fries! Spending $12 for an hour of pool, acceptable....spending an additional almost $30 extra for 2 iced teas and fries, not acceptable Palasad. C'mon, really? I'm contemplating not returning just based on the overpriced food or will just stop ordering drinks & food when I go...way overpriced...plus fries were overcooked last visit. Not impressed in that regard. Sorry...but not really.

The food here is God awful. They are charging high end restaurant prices and clearly do not have a chef. A lot of the food is frozen and microwaved. It is tasteless or if it does taste it tastes gross. Cheese dip was a mess of microwaved overpriced crap, the meat loaf I would not feed to my dog ($22 a plate for that crap, seriously?), and the desert was supposed to be cheese cake but for some weird reason had 2 Tim Horton's choc chip cookies one on top one on bottom. Try eating that with a knife and fork or spoon.. not possible. PALASAD GET RID OF THIS PLACE AND GET LIKE A BURGER AND FRIES STORE OR SOMETHING<< IT SUCKS SO BAD.. IF YOUR GONNA CHARGE THISES PRICES ATLEAST GET A REAL CHEF! An absolute joke and rip off. Will never, ever eat there again. I tipped waitress because it was not her fault. We left saying nothing.

What a great afternoon at Palasad Social Bowl. We did a team engagement event that included a private room, escape rooms, some great food and beverages. If you want to wait in line for hours and pay $9 for flat beer where you have to wave your money to be served first (if you have debit good luck) this place is definitely for you. The pool tables are so close together now you have to wait for your neighbour to shoot 99% of the time, but you're paying $18 an hour. Go to a local pub - cheaper better beer, and pool tables with some space at your leisure. And you probably won't get a broken glass ???? we were lucky enough to come at the end of the night where there wasn't many pool players but bowling is always packed.

The 2* rating is due to the lack of menu options and the strange food selection (eg slow cooked pig ears, yes I checked real pig ears). Dont take your small kids. After hearing that the Adelaide st Palasad's was finished renovation, a few of us went on Wednesday night wanting to get some of their tasty wings. We were greeted with a newly renovated restaurant that faces the street and required us to sit and eat there. The waitress came over and we asked about their wing deal. She stated that with the new renovations comes new items and that this location does not have the weekly Wednesday wing deal. Disappointed, we glazed over the paper menu (looked like it was printed out earlier that day) and tried to decide what we were going to eat. They didn't have wings but chicken legs with thighs. Okay. The manager strolled over to greet us and sell us on the menu and the new location. He stated, word for word, "We want to be like those places you see in Toronto so we decided to make this a much fancier, Toronto like establishment" I blatantly told him that if I wanted to live in Toronto, pay 3/4 of a million dollars for a dumpster house and sit my free time in Traffic, then I would move to Toronto. I live in London because it's London and NOT Toronto. Anyways, he kept telling us to try the chicken wings and thighs and that we wouldn't be disappointed. We noticed the pricing was a bit high so these pieces of chicken better be worth it, so we ordered a batch each. The food arrives and it was meh. It tasted like chicken and sauce, nothing special. I really didn't have the heart to tell the manager that the food sucked and I will now only go to the other palasads location and avoid this one at all costs. Anybody looking to try this location out, do yourself a favor and just The Rec Room, Jack Astors or the original Palasads. BTW, Rec room has fantastic wings. No Toronto BS there.

Our waitress was Rochelle and quite honestly, she was the best waitress I've experienced in a group setting. We had 18 people - all with separate bills - she knew everyone by name, was friendly, outgoing and worked hard to make our event feel extra special. Awesome!

Our waitress forgot to bring something to our table several times, like 4 times to be exact. And also messed up a bill. The food was terrible as well to be honest... goat cheese salad with 2-3 tiny pieces of goat cheese, bbq chicken pizza was rubbery, and the cherries on their “cheesecake” was out of a can and tasted like aluminum lol. But the worst part was watching the other customers playing pool and bowling without face masks on or their nose hanging out. Never again. I don’t recommend at all.

First time coming to palasad, went in Saturday afternoon and the atmosphere is really awesome. My friend and I came in for lunch. We sat down and where greeted by a gentlemen named Tony. He was so outgoing and personable and offered great suggestions from the menu. We took his suggestion and tried the nachos and cauliflower and was right on they where very good and the food was so fresh. I would recommend palasad for a lunch date or just a day to bowl and play games! Thanks Tony for a great experience!!

Went to a party at the renovated palasad north and was disappointed. For a bowling alley business, I expected the bowling to work! The system kept glitching and skipping players, making it unplayable. It also showed the wrong score. I went to staff 2-3 times, and they sent someone once to reset it, but we still had the same problem. We had paid for an hour but it was such a waste because of all the problems! They had admitted they had a new system and have been having problems with it. Not acceptable to me. The arcade..half of the games were out of order, and I would have liked it if there were prizes. No vegan options for food. Would not return.

Kudos to Phil the new chef and Shannon our server for trying as hard as they did to accommodate us... we (3friends) have been meeting at Palasad every other month for years as our catch up spot... so yesterday when we went in and saw the change to the menu, we were less than happy, one of us is super picky, the others not so picky but we tend to eat our own food not the "hey lets get this and this and this and share".. so the New Social part is all about Sharing... so this for us did not work out so well... I think for foodies, and those who don't mind spending lots of money to get a few different things than this is for you!!!!!... it seems to me this social bowl is more about the playing of the games and sharing of food and that also means spending lots more having to get everything separate(which saddens me because it seems like a money grab)...... I would have to say if they expanded the menu to some other foods, that were on the old menu, or have some personal entrée items, I would love to go back just to support the chef and the staff we dealt with.

Visited Palasad North today for our son's 12th birthday party - what a wonderful experience! Kids had a great time bowling and with the arcade. The pizza was great - free piece of cake for the birthday boy was a special surprise! The assistance I received setting up the party was absolutely above and beyond what I expected - they were all very patient and accommodating! I would never go back to this place! I was served raw chicken! Service was absolutely aweful! I got served raw chicken and then had to wait another 45 minutes for them to bring me my food! And not only that there was no comp for the mistake! I had to pay full freight for aweful service and raw chicken!

We've been here many times before as we live quite close and have had several work parties here. This has been the worst experience we've had. The employees working the bowling booking area were helpful but when we got to our billiards table we could not get a waitress for over 25 minutes (it was not that busy), we also flagged down 2 employees trying to get someone to serve us. We finally found a waitress who did not seem to know the menu or drinks at at all and despite ordering with her, we had to wait for another waitress to reorder. We also found out they no longer serve pitchers (ridiculous and a money grab it seems). The short of it, noone seemed to know much about the menu or what they did and didn't serve, and when we voiced our displeasure with the experience they once again didn't seem concerned. There was no compensation and noone bothered to talk to us about our horrible experience or apologize for the awful service. Overall incredibly disappointed and we will most likely go somewhere else next time we go out. We also will be advising our work parties to seek out different venues as well.

I ran a Smash Bros. Tournament here that brought in people from all over south western Ontario, and everyone was overjoyed with the venue, myself included! I had a great initial discussion with Greg, the GM, about our event and our needs, and staff onsite for the day of were consistently helpful and willing to accommodate us! Channer and Jessica were always willing to let me have access to facility resources and make adjustments as requested, Ashlyn and Crystal were attentive and polite servers who made sure we had what we wanted quickly and consistently, and Sam was extremely helpful during our setup in the morning. Not to mention Phil - the Chef - came out, gave recommendations, and made some excellent food for us all; he's very proud of their pork loin, and for good reason. I've been here multiple times before for smaller gatherings, but it was this time that prompted me to write a review. I hope to run many more events here, and am excited to bring my wife to try out their pizza; Phil talks a big game about their Hawaiian ????

I'm not one to leave reviews of any kind, but I thought this warranted one. We went to palasad on a double date Monday to check out the new reno's, and let the person at the front know that we would be eating before bowling, and asked to make a reservation for a lane. The attendant tells us not to worry about it as it is usually not busy on Mondays. I again say, should we just book a lane in case it gets busy, the attendant says "I've got one booked in my head", indicating that he will remember us. We go for dinner, which was great, but lo and behold when we go to bowl, every lane is full and we have to wait for 30 minutes to bowl. Not to big of a deal, we wait around and chat some more and get put onto a lane. We go bowl and the lane has non-stop problems for the two games we are paid for, giving people 0's without throwing, giving people strikes without throwing, at one point someone comes up to check up on us and we notify him that the lane is giving us problems. He mentioned to let him know if we had any more issues, 2 minutes later we got another one, hit the service button, and nobody comes. Hit it again, nobody comes. 10 minutes later we just keep playing rather than waiting around. Despite the issues we make the best of the situation and the games are close, but just as the last bowler is about to go to determine who is going to win the game, the lane shuts off. We call an employee over and ask if they can get the scores back up so we can determine who is going to win, he went to check, came back and said they can't get them back up, he asked if that was alright, when I notified him that it wasn't alright and that the point of the game was to see who wins. He said sorry and that he wouldn't be able to do anything for us without giving us another game, then walked away. Needless to say, I won't be going back, the reno's are nice, but it seems some customer service was sacrificed to make it happen

Good place in an ideal location for anyone in the Oxford and Adelaide area whether it's EOA or Old North.. however you have one particular manager who is more concerned with playlists and how his cute dates turned out than customer service. He bounces around chatting with all the staff and making friends, but doesn't actually give customers the time of day unless they also happen to like his IPhone playlists. I spent a few hours there the other day and all he managed to do was distract staff and ignore patrons. I'm sure the staff like his lax approach though.

Came here with my girlfriend tonight for dinner, wings were half price, which I always enjoy palasad wings. We frequent both locations and have noticed lately wings are very over cooked. Very hard to bite into. Actually had 2 wings burnt together that looked gross. From the kitchens prospective they should have noticed that since it was sitting right on top of the wing basket. I think we might seek other places for wings next time. I was disappointed on this and the last visit. Also I get a side of the suicide sauce which was made in house awhile back, now it’s just franks with chilli peppers mixed in.

Social bowl was the first establishment our family decided to go to on a lovely Friday evening. From the moment we walked In, till the moment we left, the staff provided such an astounding level of costumer service I've received in a long time. Not the same as it used to be. I prefer the old menu and drinks. (14 dollar cocktails now in some cases), not much selection for domestic or 'regular beer' anymore, food went way up in price too, and it's already the most expensive place to bowl! I miss the familiar, cozy, friendly and fun feel the place used to have.. Now it just feels like the place wants to be fancy, but that is just not something I look for in atmosphere when it comes to bowling. Also, everytime I express My opinion in a review regarding my dislike of the changes the last few years, the manager comes along and defends his fancy new menu and craft beers!.. Its called an opinion, I'm entitled to mine, and your rebuttals make you seem petty and convince me further how much I Dont want to go to this New Palasad...

6 of us went out for Escapology and Chef's Table dinner. It was an outstanding experience. Escape room was challenging but tons of fun. Chef's dinner was amazing, Chef Phil was an excellent host, and the food was incredible, far exceeded my expectations. We will be back

The lane my wife, daughter and I were bowling on we asked for the racks to come up when my wife and daughter were bowling the tracks only 30% of the time came up so they kept losing their balls to the gutter. (Yes they suck a bowling) fix your lanes!

Had a great experience here coming with a group. They have limited lanes for bowling but it's a great experience. Heard they recently renovated and everything as I didnt see it before. Very well lit up in the arcade and bowling lanes. They have event and food/drink specials every day so keep an eye out for those.

The new design is very modern and open, which makes the entire place feel so much bigger than before. The bowling is lots of fun, the arcade is great, and the drinks are delicious. The wide variety of craft beers on tap is exceptional and is reason enough on its own to check this place out. The new escape rooms are absolutely phenomenal. The time spent on designing the entire experience shows considerably in the detail found in every room. I don't think there's a better place to go for dinner and an escape room in the city.

Some of the arcade games were malfunctioning. We told a manager and they comped us with free credits, but no notices were placed on the games. We saw other people playing the games getting ripped off later on. Food was good. Lots of great beers. A bit let down by the gaming thing though.

We can't put into words how great our experience was at Palasad SocialBowl. The service we received was amazing and our students had a blast bowling for the first time. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to any last minute changes. We look forward to any future bookings with Palasad!

I would highly recommend this location! It was a very clean and friendly environment. A staff member named Boon was our server. Not only was he very informative and explained the menu and also suggested items, he was more than happy to answer any questions. The food was amazing as well! Very impressed.

I have been here a couple times and the service has always been decent. However this evening I had the pleasure of having Trevor as my server. He never had us waiting on our drinks, came to check on us and if we needed anything constantly and made us feel comfortable and satisfied. Not only that, but he made the effort to show interest in us as customers and we discovered that we both had a love of the band Queen. It made me feel extremely happy and so much fun! Because of him me and my friends will gladly come back anytime!

Great food and exceptional servers. They are very polite and usually not slow, except the one time when it was really busy, we waited about an hour and 10 minutes for food. the bar has pretty good drinks though! can't rate five stars because it took way too long to get food.

As much as it looks nice, it was not as good as the south location. They have different menus and no half price pizzas on mondays like the south location. The bowling pins also seem to be on strings that defeat the fun of bowling. The lanes also had a ton of technical difficulties and we had to go to three different lanes and we still ended up missing frames and getting random scores. Super disappointed

There was one table in use in the restaurant when we arrived at 1:05. More than ONE HOUR later we were served our burgers and fries ... from the menu..nothing special just a menu order for 3 people. Server was pleasant but didn't seem to recognize the length of time it took. Would not recommend due to kitchen wait times.

Wow! The recent upgrades to the Palasad Social Bowl are fantastic. The space is stunning and that activities are endless. Such a great way to spend an evening with friends. Menu options are delicious - the mushroom pizza... to die for. Super cool and different cocktail options too. Can't wait to go back and have some more fun!

As a regular visitor of Palasad North prior to the renovations, we opted to spend our NYE celebrating at the new SocialBowl. The renovations themselves were very impressive, and have really opened up the area to make the facility much more modern and airy. However, for a facility that has been hosting NYE for several years, we found that the event was surprisingly disorganized. Prior to purchasing the tickets, I scoured the Facebook page, the website, and the EventBrite page in search of more specific information in relation to how the unlimited bowling would work, but only found the usual wording of "subject to availability" - so whatever, we took the chance. Nowhere did it say that you HAD to show up at 8pm, otherwise there would be nothing for you to do. Bowling and billiards were full for the entire night. In compensation, we were given a stack of arcade cards and $10 off coupons for our next visit, but we were explicitly told there was no way for us to get our money back directly for the wristbands. Turns out, the cards had about one game on each (based on how much the games cost), and there wasn't anywhere for us to check to see if there were remaining balances besides the front desk. Eventually we got a lane for 40 minutes, which ended up being about half a game for 8 people. Upon buying the tickets online, we really should have had more information about the process, OR given us the opportunity to book time slots while buying our tickets, allowing everyone to actually get to enjoy an activity. It felt an awful lot like we paid $160 collectively to sit at the back of a restaurant, to wait 20 minutes for drinks, and be encouraged to buy food and more drinks while we waited to possibly get to play games we never ended up getting to play (i.e. billiards). The band was terrific and seeing them play over the lanes was really cool, but it would have been nicer to actually participate in an activity for the night. If I had known this was the way the event would be run, I would have opted to do something else. The $10 off coupons were nice, but I'm not sure we will be back to use them.

it was just a generally bad experience. had a friend who worked there months ago so decided to finally check it out. terrible service (we waited 10 mins before the bar finally sent someone over), the pizza was burned (which we understand because it's a wood oven but still, it was realllllly burned), the music was so loud we couldn't even hear ourselves speak to each other. guess palasad is as bad to visit as it is to work for.

The new Social Bowl at Palasad is amazing. Same great pizza! The newly renovated restaurant has an open kitchen so you can see the action. The entertainment area was hopping with arcade games, bowling and they've added four escape rooms. The food is delicious, innovative and portions are generous. The service was impeccable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Still love the atomosphere of Palasad after the renevoations, but will deffinitley be going to the south location next time. Waited 10 minutes for menues and 20 minutes to order. The food came out fairly quickly which was great, but overall the service was less then average. In additon, I really miss the old menues.
