Took up cross country skiing after a 20 year hiatus. A couple of buddies gave me update lessons at KNC. It’s awesome! I now go ~ 3 times a week either with Micher, Abby or the guys. Great sport and great location. Very nice people and great scenery. How difficult is it? We have gone about ten’ish times and complete the 7 km loop (including the Rockslide section) in about 70 minutes. Sweat like a hound when I’m done. I enjoy it more each time I go. ????

Beautiful set up out here. Lights are on for member skiing in the winter and a great spot to park in other seasons for all sorts of activities. We were out walking dogs up magic line and Moe's canyon, spectacular areas to explore. Great mountain biking out here too! So much area to explore.

Good place. It has snow when the rest of the valley doesn't: Kimberley is quite high. A perfect hut at the entrance, with warm washrooms and hot drinks (kettle boils all the time). There is a big difference between easy and intermediate tracks, I would say, it's better to call them easy and advanced. But, even the easy loop is long enough to entertain and exercise you.

Went for a snow shoe there and the lady at the centre was very kind and approached us right away and asked us what we wanted to do and our skill level and then suggested a beautiful route that was perfect for us! Even saw a moose. Would recommend.

'Round the Mtn' this Sunday, June 23rd, was enjoyable.Lots of races for all ages, food trucks, live .music & beer..& a free meal & drink, for volunteers. Rained & blew a bit - but waaay better than predicted!! I'd volunteer again!! Come one, come all!! A good Sunday!!

The Kimberley Nordic Club is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in the Kootenays....except it's not a secret. 44+ km of trails and an awesome daylodge. Highly recommended.

Nice challenging terrain, great nature. But be aware of a couple of things when going skiing there for the first time: very poorly marked trails and lack of information about the actual quality of the tracks\trails on the main web site and the grooming web site. The day I skied there conditions were terrible - ice, pools of water and even stones on the tracks, but no word about it on neither of the web sites. P.S. I lowered my rating of this place after owner’s response. Owner claimed that “ kiosk staff provided complimentary skiing on these days and advice about where to ski“. That was not the case on December 24th when I was skiing there - I paid full price at the kiosk, no free skiing was offered, no warning or advice about conditions was given. I’m not sure what is wrong with people running this place with this misinformation.
