Came here based on the reviews as well as the recommendation of a foodie friend. Excellent food and drinks! Sweet and spicy margarita was to die for, I ordered a second one - can't remember the last time I ordered another round of the same drink. It was a tough call for us to choose our mains, we ended up with Three Pharaohs for me and Coconut Seafood pot for my friend. Both were delicious and also very sizeable servings! We wanted to leave room for dessert, so we skipped the appetizers and went for the dessert special, which was some sort of mango cheesecake situation that was absolutely amazing. Waitstaff were courteous and readily available. Can't wait to come back here again! There are like at least 5 more things I want to try here.

This is such a cute little place. The decor is great, right down to the Raven statue by the bar. Excellent food. Quiet, Quant and comfortable. Our waitress, Cheryl was friendly and prompt. Great place to go for any occasion. Will definitely be eating here again the next time I visit Jasper.

We went here for lunch - was well beyond high expectations. We had spicy halloumi and calamari as starters. Absolutely delicious. The calamari had a wonderful sauce with a slightly curry to it - wonderful flavour. Daily soup was a refreshing and super tasty coconut tomato soup - chicken shawarma wrap and chicken and waffles was very tasty. Great service here as well!

We started the meal with the Moroccan Baked Brie. Simply marvelous! the brie was nicely melted and the chutney was spectacular. Followed up with the Braised Bison Short ribs. Again, a wonderful pairing. With the Cherry and Bourbon demi-glaze Truly magnificent. Finished the meal with their newest creation, the Mon Cheri. Fabulous! A delightful sponge cake with stewed pears apples and cranberries. We had not even though about stopping here until it came highly recommended from the staff at the Skytram. Well done!

We had the pleasure of dining there October 13, 2021. I has the soup and salad and my husband had the Spanish wings. The meals were absolutely outstanding. The service was wonderful and a lovely atmosphere. I look forward to returning as soon as possible. I would recommend this place.

The food here was amazing! Ive never seen a more tempting menu. We have the Spanish Wings and the Candied Boar flatbread for apps (delicious and well balanced) and the three pharaohs for the main course. I loved the lamb especially. Our favorite place to eat in Jasper. The food is delicious and very well prepared. Mostly plant based, vegan which is exactly what we were looking for. We had the halloumi followed by the Raven salad which was so good. Cozy atmosphere with selection of booths and comfortable tables. Service is excellent - we were made very welcome. We went there for lunch. The restaurant had a quiet and welcoming vibe. Server was very polite and knowledgeable when we asked about the history of the restaurant. The owners had traveled through Mediterranean countries and bring those flavors back with them.Food was amazing and we tasted new flavors. It would be on our list for next trip to Jasper for sure.

Great options for some exciting mountain food and amazing sea food. My wife and I tried the elk and it was by far the most tender and flavourful meat we have had to date. The service was friendly, helpful, and timely and their patio offered great privacy for our date. A bit more expensive than some places, but by far the best food I have had in Jasper. 10/10 would recommend.

We went there for dinner and we were happy with the service and the food. Our server was really good, knew the menu well. She explained all the dishes and answered any questions we had. Made good recommendations for the wine as well. We ordered rack of lamb, elk and salmon. Rack of lamb was cooked at medium rare and was delicious. Elk and salmon were also good. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Jasper and would visit again.

A friend and I went on a day trip to Jasper and decided to give this restaurant a call to see if they were open so we can stop by for a bite. The lady that answered the call was super nice and respectful. We got there and the place was super clean and welcoming. I ordered the Seafood Pot... and it was DELICIOUS. The waitress, Rachel, was so helpful with menu options and even gave us hiking recommendations for our next trip! Great job Raven Bistro, totally will be going there whenever I'm in Jasper.

For our last night in Jasper we decided to try this place as they had just reopened again with their new patio! Kudos to the owners for investing in the infrastructure, I’m sure it’s very difficult to do these things under the uncertainty of COVID. The heated patio was lovely with each cube sectioned off making you feel like you had a little piece of space to yourself. Our server was really lovely and attentive, the food was some of the best we had in Jasper all week, and we overall just had a really great time. I recommend all their beers on tap and the Mediterranean mule! To eat we had the schnitzel, steak sandwich, and the calamari, all delicious.

My traveling companion and I stopped for lunch and decided to go back for dinner. The menu is globally inspired with leaning towards middle Eastern seasonings merged with fresh local ingredients. For lunch my companion enjoyed her French Onion soup and we shared a morrocan melted Brie which had interesting blends of middle Eastern spices with the melted Brie. I had an Elk Porter soup. My companion hot chocolate with housemade marshmallow fluff. It was excellent. We went back for dinner to try out their cheese fondue, picking the traditional style and ordered an extra pretzel with it. It was almost as good as the Fondue I had in Geneva, Switzerland. The service for both lunch and dinner was friendly, attentive, and prompt.

The Raven Bistro had absolutely AMAZING food with a wide variety of selections for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters alike! Portions are large and very reasonably priced. We started with the fried Halloumi appetizer (which was in and of itself quite a bit of food). I had the La Pastilla as a main, while my husband had the Old Fashioned Bison Short Ribs. They were both incredible. Our service was beyond wonderful as well! Couldn't recommend The Raven Bistro enough!

Great staff. people lined up to get it. Did a good job keeping the atmosphere while protecting staff and guests. Thoroughly enjoyed the MOROCCAN BAKED BRIE. My wife loved the KALAMATA SALMON. I had the LEMON SESAME SCHNITZEL, the meat was great but didn't enjoy the side dish, potato salad. I wasn't expecting mini potatoes cut in half's. I found it tasteless. We would go back but would avoid the chorizo potato salad.

Ordered Halibut Chowder, Boar Belly Flat Bread and Lamb Rack. Absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I didn’t make a reservation, so they booked us at the door for an hour later and we waited. We told them we are going to share the Lamb and they actually separated everything into two portions for us. It was soooooo good that we even forgot to take a photo before we eat! Absolutely worth the wait!

Tried this my last full day in Jasper, and wish I had found it sooner! Busy when I arrived so got a seat at the bar. Not always my favorite, but Mike did a great job making sure everyone was well attended to, and really serving each of the parties at the bar. Likely the best place in the restaurant since able to talk with others and get to see all the items on the menu - yum! Only downside? Not open later! If questioning - just go!! Really nice mix of Canadian foods with a Mediterranean fusion giving it a unique twist.

Amazing food with different flavours. Here you can try elk and bison. A lot of options for the seafood lovers, gluten free aware and vegans. Patio has only 4 tables. Service is very attentive and timely. I would definitely recommend this place and will come back for the dinner menu (4-11 pm)

Ordered the lamb & the La Pastille and both were amazing. Lamb was done perfectly, not always a simple feat. La Pastille was seriously so good and flavourful. Our server Britt was fantastic & food was very quick. We sat outside in the homemade Covid friendly patio and were SO impressed with the fact the owner made that. Everything about Raven Bistro was honestly excellent. Would go again in a heartbeat.

We dined on September 25; party of 4. The other 3 guests had awesome dishes. I came away very disappointed. Initially I was going to order the Seafood Pot but then saw the Elk Osco Bucco with mushroom risotto and was lured in and ordered that dish.. I was expecting a very creamy risotto with lots of mushroom flavor and what I had was sub par risotto lacking flavor. The elk seemed to be cooked too much and the texture was dry. I will give the bistro another try when I am back in Jasper.

My wife and I shared the cheese fondue and the steak and prawns entree. It's was the perfect combination. They have absolutely amazing craft cocktails, our server Janice was so welcoming and attentive and the kitchen staff is so talented! If you can get out for happy hour between 330 and 530 then can experience crazy half price wine and some of their signature appies (including fondue) at ridiculously low prices! It's a must if you're visiting Jasper .

We ate here for lunch and dinner on the same day. It’s probably one of the better restaurants in Jasper in my opinion. The prices are good, the service is good. Would recommend the salmon for both lunch and dinner menu and the buddha bowl if you want something a little more health. It has the right amount of crunch and savoury. The three pharaohs with the steak was also quite delicious. The breakfast skillet was good, loved the savoury waffle but it was more on the oily side.

Best happy hour in Jasper! Half off wines by the glass, $5 pints (bottles and fraught!) and half off scotch from 3-5:30 I believe! Such an awesome deal. Love their cab wine and the boar belly flatbread (discounted for happy hour) - were awesome. Only 2 spots on the patio and a smaller inside but service and location were great. The seafood pot was lacking flavor, definitely needed a little kick, salt, and squeeze that lime they give you! Otherwise, wonderful!

Would give them 0 stars if I could. We had called ahead and made a reservation for 9 at 9PM and had arrived at 8:40- 20 minutes earlier. The hostess had advised us that we would be seated between 9 and 9:05 since the table before us hadn't left. Then at 9:10, we went back and inquired, and they said that the table before still hadn't left. At 9:20, we were fed up and we left. Driving from far distances, being completely exhausted and looking for a place to eat, the Raven Bistro did NOT meet the expectation of my family or I. In Jasper, most food places close betwween 9 and 10, 9:30 being last call. We were almost left without food for the night. Please be advised- if you make a reservation here well in advance, its very likely that you still may not be able to eat here. Edit: After seeing the response below from Raven Bistro, I can say for sure that I will not be coming back. If a reservation is made, then it should be ready at that time, as is standard in many restaurants around Canada. Sadly, it appears that the Raven Bistro is not quite there yet. In addition, being 20 minutes early is fine, especially since we understood that we were early and were willing to wait. But the Raven Bistro being 20 minutes late is not an acceptable practice. Nonetheless, my family and I will never visit the Raven Bistro again.

We dined here almost a month ago now. Everything was very delicious, from the sweet bacon potato soup, to the delicious halibut. Everything was spot on. The bathrooms are pretty and clean. The restaurant is a bit small, so reservation for sure would be needed as we were happy we had one in advance and were seated right away upon arrival. Our server was very nice.

The food here was okay. Not great. We had the brown sugar salmon and the schnitzel. The schnitzel was the better of the two dishes. The salmon came with a risotto which was mediocre at best. Okay - risotto is hard to make well. But the salmon, I found to be overcooked and dry. The first thing the host was telling everyone was that they want you to be done in 90 minutes. I get it. They're trying to herd as many people through as they can on a Saturday night. But it was still off-putting. If you go here and it's cold out, I recommend insisting on a seat away from the window. It was very cold sitting there. We were in the booth closest to the door which didn't help, I'm sure, but it really made it difficult to enjoy the experience. In the end, we didn't need anywhere near the 90 minute allotment as the food didn't warrant ordering dessert and the ambiance didn't warrant lingering.

Dinner here was the highlight of our day. We ordered the steak and shrimp with argentine sauce. It's a bit on the pricey side but atleast the food is worth it. One of the best steaks we ever had. My wife ordered the seafood pot, which she loved as well. And we loved the service as well. Sheryl was very warm and took good care of us. Definitely coming here again.

A great spot in town and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I had the calamari and the schnitzel which were both great, lovely flavours and great portion sizes. My partner had the boar and bison flat bread which was also wonderful but the elk ossobuco wasn’t quite up to scratch for the price. The elk itself was cooked perfectly, the piece of meat was huge and it fell off the bone. However the risotto isn’t risotto. It’s not made with Arborio rice but instead (from what I can guess) normal white rice which gives it a very odd texture and it was quite bland. The food pairing is slightly off with a huge tomato chutney on the side too. The dish needs to be refined with the textures and flavours balancing more. The portions are great, for a Brit I’d say you only need one course! A little refinement would go a long way.

The meats were delicious but the only complaint is that the chicken shawarma was not seasoned traditionally. One of the best restaurants in Jasper town, serving fusion Mediterranean food using local ingredients. The baked double Brie is absolutely delicious and a must order if you come. We went there for dinner. The Ukrainian borsch soup would not make five stars. The chef needs to work on it. But the rest of the meal was delicious and it made up for the soup. The steak was well done to perfection, asparagus the best I ever tried. The entree with three meats was very tasty and just right portion. The Argentinian Malbec was a perfect pairing with food. Great and friendly service. Would definitely go back.

Ambiance - WARM, COZY, ME AND MY BF FELL BACK IN LOVE HERE Drinks - amazing! all very fun Food - we got the both the veggie options on the menu, best meal I think I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE. Do yourself a favour and get the créme brûlée after your meal Server was also super kind and helpful, despite the clearly busy restaurant she was great! Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience The raven bistro - will have me RAV-IN’ for quite some time

The Raven Bistro was amazing! I took my mom and sister here for my mom's birthday and really enjoyed it. My favorite meal I've ever had in Jasper and one of the best vegan dishes I have had. The bistro is very nice and comfortable and the servers were very knowledgeable about the menu and very personable.

I found out about this place through trip advisor. Menu looked very good so booked it a few weeks in advance. I'm glad I did because it seemed busy the day of. The place has good decor and ambience and it was quite enough. We ordered tofu chorizo tostado. Zaatar halloumi, la pastilla, coconut and almond crusted halibut, the sweet and spicy margarita, and chocolate pecan tart. I absolutely LOVED both entrees and also liked appetizers. The dishes had a good balance of food vs. cold, sweet vs. savory and I thoroughly enjoyed them all. If I had to pick one that I thought was just okay comparatively, it would be the halloumi. I also found the margarita to be very good. Got it with half the sweetness which was perfect (I usually prefer sweeter cocktails). What made this one unique is the gingery taste. Lastly, the chocolate pecan tart was also good - very rich which went well with raspberry sauce.
