REVIEWS OF Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Jasper IN Jasper

Not impressed with rooms and price paid. Very dated rooms. Our ac heat was difficult to control. Lcd screen on unit not working. The bed had huge indent in it and pillows were worst. Shower head is 5ft high and bathrooms are so dated. Our room stunk of off gassing carpet. No amenities open cause of covid. First time staying. Will not return. Rooms not worth the price paid.

Very disappointing for a four star hotel and for the price charged. Our room faced the inside courtyard so none of the window could be opened. The washroom is very old but luckily had great water pressure. Maybe swap to some less oddly scented toiletry products, im sure some people enjoy the special scents but doesnt seem appropriate for hotels that need to appeal to the general public. The hot tub looks really good but closes at 8pm..... Its fine to stay for a few night but dont expect too much.

Bob Chartier

Really decent hotel, easy to find in Jasper. Not too much to do there during the lock down but its not the hotels fault.

Lucas Rabello Simões

The hotel is nice looking overall with nice amenities, but it ends there. Hotel rooms smell of cigarette smoke and the location of the hotel is far away from downtown Jasper. Trying to dial the front desk from the room phone results in dial tones and no answers. Outdated shower with questionable water pressure. Plus there is construction next door which hinders the view and is noisy. Looks nice, but overall a bad experience. Better hotels in Jasper, stay away.

Me and my friends had a great time here. Staff was very accommodating.

I give 1 star for the hotel being nice and my stay was good until the very end which soured the entire thing. If you have ever forgotten an item in a hotel room then you'll likely value hotel staff being helpful in getting it back to you. Sawridge staff simply lied to my face. I left my watch in the room after check out and how this was handled is the reason why I do not recommend this place to anyone. I notified them shortly after leaving Jasper that I forgot the watch. They told me they looked for it and nothing was found in the room. They even insisted that I not return to the hotel for that reason. I did go back and searched the room myself because I knew it was there. Housekeeping apparently looked and found nothing but I found my watch within seconds under a pillow on the bed. Maybe they decided it wasn't worth their time to actually look for it or it was found and they were hoping I wouldn't return to the hotel for it, but either way it was dishonest. I don't know if it was the front desk person or housekeeping, but someone in there was not telling the truth and that is just terrible service.

Amazing hotel, best I have stayed at in jasper! Restaraunt was amazing, room was air conditioned, exceptionally clean, asked for extra pillows and they were brought in less than 5 minutes, bed is comfortable, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY IN JASPER FOR COMFORT! We hopped between a couple hotels before we finished the week - and extended our stay - at the sawridge because of the room quality. Wireless on 3rd floor could be better, was low signal in the room.

Nice clean hotel. Very friendly staff.

Good location. However, this hotel building is old and stinky. It needs urgent upgrades. The carpet are old, dirty and stinky. We got sick from the smell. The doors have gaps and the hallway lights shoot right inside the rooms. The lights in sauna were on but it never worked. The sauna was cold and dirty. They still charge you extra for the balcony rooms even though there's construction going on that side of the building. The noise from the construction were still coming after 10 pm. They won't provide you with free breakfast if you booked with Expedia. They should learn from Best Western. Everyone gets free breakfast at BW, not just 2 persons per room. Looks like the owners make their own hotel rules at this place. Don't waste your time and money here.

380.00 a night. No continental breakfast. The menu prices are out of this world.

Would not rent a room to us at 1am in the morning based on their policy of a 2 night minimum. At 1 in the morning who going to stopnfor a two night minimum. So disappointing!! We tried to check in at around 1am as we were exhausted. I find it extremely unfair that when we are dangerously tired and need to be off the road that every hotel in Jasper either didn't have a front desk staff, didn't have a pet friendly room or required a two night minimum. Sawridge was one who refused to give us one night. My husband and I have had other bad experiences in Jasper and this trip confirmed to us never to go back! Valemount down the road was open arms welcoming...we were thankful someone cared to get us off the road.

I walked in to my room and thought it was nice but the bed sheets were dirty and floor probably hasn't been cleaned in a while. I went for breakfast and it was overly expensive and they told me I should tip them they never asked if I wanted more coffee until I finished eating. The eggs were slimy and undercooked. the hallway stunk like pickles and old cleaning supplies. The vent inside the bathroom was disgusting. The location is good but not worth the money.

I was recently at the Sawridge for a wedding and found them to be fantastic. Great rooms, wonderful food and EXCEPTIONAL service. That staff went above and beyond to accommodate the bride's requests and all at very reasonable price. Thank you for a wonderful weekend, we will be back!

We spend one night at this hotel. Staff were pleasant. Our room & bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable, pillows okay. There has been comments made about the hotel looking dirty. I question that too. But keep in mind It is an older building and could do with some upgrades. Starting with the carpeting throughout the building & rooms. Bathroom was very small, and the bathroom vanity was in need of replacing or repair. It is far from the Jasper shops.

Beautiful place fabulous use of wood to bring comfort and relaxation

Christine Ware

It was great. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was decent in the mornings. Hot tub was really over crowded but that was expected since it was a long weekend. Steam shower was great to warm up in.

Shikha Gupta

Great stop for the night. Rooms were clean and staff were accommodating.

Ben Kendall

Just OK. Worst value for $ in over a week long road trip. Wouldn't dare try the restaurant and kinda weird having people eating dinner staring right into your room. Service was efficient over friendly. I hope I don't hafta stay here again. My preference is an outdoor hot tub and this was all indoor.

Fantastic experience staying here! Excellent service, food, and rooms. Would definitely stay here again if it's available. The staff gave me a free upgrade to a mountain view room as there was availability due to COVID. There was a bit of a struggle to getting the shower to work correctly as the knobs would start to move on their own, but everything else was perfect. They were running a promotion on breakfast orders placed before 11PM, and I did not regret taking advantage. The breakfast was excellent in quality and quantity, and they ensured we had everything we needed as we had to take the food out again due to COVID. Hope to stay there again!

The perfect place to crash on the go! But they don't have a microwave ????
