Went for unlimited late night bowling on a friday night and had a blast!

Went there on a Tuesday for a small get together. We order pizza, fries and boneless wings. It took over an hour to get the good, however I don't put it on the staff, definitely needed another person. I thought a Tuesday would be cheaper judging by the crowd but there has to be a cheaper day, have to pay better attention I guess.

Great place to bowl and friendly staff. My son had been bowling here for about 8 years and has improved so much. We've met lots of really nice people and made good friends. The place is clean, has bubble hockey, darts, a pool table and a bar.

I bowl during the afternoons on weekdays from time to time during the winter. It’s a great form of exercise and mental focus. Tonawanda Bowling center is one of 3 bowling centers within a few miles of my house - and it’s the best. Clean, friendly staff, always has open lanes (when I go), very affordable. if you want to eat and have a few drinks while you’re there - they have an awesome menu of pub food and a ton of local beers on tap. Check them out!

Fun place to go for a relatively cheap activity. The bar is moderately stocked, enough to get the job done and they have bubble hockey! Midnight bowling is fun but if you don't get there when it starts it's a little bit pricey in comparison to the regular game rate. Very reasonable shoe rental price and game price. I'll defiantly be coming here more often, fun friendly environment. If you go be a nice person and return your bowling balls back to the shelves after you're done, I can only imagine that's the worst part of clean up for the workers.

Great place to bowl. Love the staff and my favorite place to hang at the bar and drink. Funny thing about this place is you see all kinds of people when sitting at the bar drinking. Like Mr size 11 shoes. Hard not to forget loud and arrogant. The lanes were full and lots of people rent shoes to bowl. Mr size 11 was on a list for the next open lane like every one else in the bar. When he entered the busy bar, (by the way the bars proximately 40 to 50 feet long goes around the corner) he caught my attention when he raised his hand up at a bar tenders and yelled at them for drinks. It was a distinct moment as I remember everybody turning around at the bar and looking at him. I don't care how tight your shoes are no reason to act like a jerk. Judge this place yourself check it out. Order ribs and pulled pork from the new smoker and say hi. I'll be there drinking at the bar!

Complete rip off. Would never go here again let alone recommend this bowling center to anyone! Paid $40 (for my group of 4) so thats not counting how much the rest of the people we were with paid.. that was supposed to include 2 games, shoes, a slice of pizza and a pop. The pizza was cold and disgusting and took forever to get, which obviously wasted time for bowling and then we were only allowed to play one of the games and then they shut off the lanes... 5 kids, 4 adults and they only gave us an hour to bowl.. the lanes were not reserved for anyone else coming in and it was only 3 in the after noon so there obviously shouldn't of been an issue in letting us bowl the second game that we paid for!! Very, very rude for the amount of money that we spent in there.

Five stars goes out to the new owner and the management team at the bowling alley who gave all the league officers of their bowling leagues a nice dinner of hors d'oeuvres, drinks, roast beef sandwiches, roasted potatoes and a salad????along with a meeting to explain every area of the bowling alley..door prices and fun bowling..???? and enjoyable evening by everyone! Thanks to fabulous Nicole who checked everyone in and gave us a door prize ticket and the door prizes were a bowling bag and a bowling ball donated from Mike Hanes pro shop????

Midnight bowling is $12 if you have shoes, $15 w/o, and you play until 3am. The sliders are dry, but the pizza rolls and mozz sticks are pretty good. Pitchers of cheap beer are $11.50, and a soda and corona pair to be $8 to give a feeling of the prices. Next time I go I'll take pictures of the menu if they're not up on the Internet somewhere already.

It changed since I used to go there. Waited almost 30 mins for a drink. Ended up leaving. I hate giving bad reviews but honestly this bartender was horrible. I'm a bartender and have been for 18+ yrs. Word of advise is always always acknowledge the people walking in. You give them a " I'll be right with you" that'll go along way. Sucks cause I'm from out of town and first place we stopped was here and never again.

In the bowling alley, the atmosphere was good. It didn't take a long time to find the perfect ball and service was awesome. As for the bar it wasn't that busy last night but the service was really slow. The pizza was absolutely disgusting! We were very disappointed that we spent 16$ for it, I would have rather starved till we left and bought a Little Caesar pizza. Overall I would definitely come back again with a full stomach

We came here for an after-work get together. We had a great time! The bar was impressive with almost 40 beers. The pizza and wings were pretty good as well. The one lane, second from the end on the right kept having issues. Also, when we got the bill, there was a $25 tip included. Now, I wouldn't mind paying a tip, but for what? We got all of our drinks at the bar as there was no server. And all the empty glasses and bottles were never cleared off of our tables. It was kind of annoying. The only thing that I could see that we would tip for would have been for the lady to wheel our food on a cart to our table. Thankfully, they took the tip (fee) off. All in all, we had a great time bowling with some good food.

Don't go if you aren't American. They don't serve those without a NY ID. Only establishment in Buffalo that I have seen that has done this. I will honestly not be visiting this establishment again because of this. Bowling itself was fine though.

Came for the moonlight bowling, but the attitudes here from the bartender to the front desk were absolutely the worst. The honey served with sweet potato fries was not real honey, and the wings were bland. I wouldn’t come back here.

Went for the new years party and to my surprise it was alot of fun even though I'm not much of a bowler. They served little party favours and champagne for a midnight toast which I thought was pretty cool. I'd definitely recommend it for small or large groups.

Advertises open bowling hours and then books all lanes ahead of time, so none are available. This completely defeats the purpose of open bowling hours.

It's a nice enough little bowling alley. The food is really overpriced (but then again, what bowling alley's isn't nowadays). My major complaint is that the way that the lanes are oiled makes the balls do some wacky things. Me and my friends watched as every straight ball we threw a little too much to the left hit and oil slick that would curve it quickly into the gutter, which did not seem to be a problem the other patrons were having. I guess we just got an unlucky lane. It is worth mentioning that they do have special deal nights for games that makes attending cheaper and more worth it, which is nice for when you want a quick little game of bowling.

I’m so upset. The guy at the counter was extremely rude. The lane was not oiled well, so i went to the counter and asked him nicely that can i change the lane because there were a lot of empty lanes. But he just said no without hearing the reason. So i was trying to explain why but he was constantly repeating no. Me and my boyfriend got way lower score than usual. I Bowl straight, but it curved. We both thought that lane was wrong. Even though lanes were all same, at lease he could try. I guess I don’t want to go there anymore.

It has been many years since I have been bowling and went tonight with my two grown children. We had fun bowling a few games on the lovely smooth and well polished lanes. The machine keeps score so we could quickly see who was winning. The rental shoes could use some updating but fit ok. We went on Wednesday evening when it was just $1 a game, nice inexpensive fun for a couple hours. They do serve food and I will say that the chicken wings smelled delicious but we were not hungry enough to order, perhaps next time. Also, plenty of bowling balls of different weights to choose from.

I loveeeeeeeeee this place!!! I come from NYC to Buffalo & the FIRST thing I do is go to Tonawanda Lanes!! I go with friends & once I'm there I order the Chicken Dip!!! That alone is worth the trip!! Always an awesome time!! The staff is great!!! Management is also great! I love it here!

A great place to bowl, enjoy an adult beverage (or two), get a meal, have a party and enjoy yourself. They offer a wide variety of bowling leagues for all ages. The Mike Hane's Pro Shop is available and is one of the top shops in the area. We've held and attended multiple bowling parties for a variety of occasions and the Pimm's and their staff have helped to make it a treat every time.

Soo this lady told my husband and I that it was 3.50$ a game and coming from Virginia that's fairly reasonable considering down there it's 2.00$ a game plus shoes... I asked her twice how much is this and she states both times 3.50$ a game, so when it comes down to pay she states a ridiculous price and we are just dumbfounded like why is it so much?? Then she says oh it's 3.50$ a game per person... Like seriously? This place is a scam and my husband and I will never come here again... No wonder the parking lot was empty... Rude cashier who scams people out of their money! And on top of that its a crappy bowling alley!! I've been to nicer places for cheaper... And the worst thing is if she would have just told us this from the beginning we would have been fine but now we feel scammed and that lady is a serious bit*h! I could have paid 30$ somewhere else... Don't come here!

The skinny old man in the counter is rude as hell. Im here like every two times a week, and the lane that he gave us wasnt oiled well. There was lot of empty lane so i asked him nicely to change lane and he just kept said no telling ,all lanes are same, even though there were empty lanes (alot). So my daughter and step daughter have the same bday in Feb. So party planning sucks! Looked into bowling and came across a great deal. It was affordable, it was convenient, it was fun! We invited all our friends and family and we had a great time, easy and my kids couldnt have asked for a better birthday! It was 100% worth their smiles and excitement! The only thing is the manager lady, an older woman was such a grump! And if I could make a suggestion, use a different pizza recipe. The pizza was kind of awful, other dood great, but not one of the kids would eat their pizza, adults just made do.

We went there for a friend's birthday and the man behind the counter was VERY rude. He sets us up with our lanes, then changed them to another lane, which had tables that had not been cleared. The food is overpriced and not that good. Will not be going back.

The hostess, Nicole was amazing to us. If this girl makes less then 20 an hour, that's ridiculous! She somehow was so friendly, patient, and attended to everybody else's needs, while doing 5 parties that I counted myself. JUST HER! She was also cooking our food, when I went to ask for more cups. I offered her a job at my business for 23 per hour, she did kindly decline, but the work this girl did today, im so amazed!

We had an unfortunate experience apparently due to a lack of staff. Went for their 50 cent game deal that they run every weekend in August. We had a hard time getting drinks at the bar because there was no bartender. We ordered a bunch of food and still hadn't received it and hour later when we noticed people leaving for a shift change. New staff only knew about half of our order and it still wasn't being made. It took another 30 mins to explain and find someone who could credit my card after we decided to cancel the whole thing.

This is my first and favorite place to go bowling. The place is great for having a good time whether your trying to find something fun to do on an afternoon or going for moonlight bowling with a group of friends. The bar prices are reasonable, the bowling price is a buck or 2 more than others. There are alot of house bowling balls available.

It's pretty standard as bowling alleys go. However, the seats could use a good coat of paint. Our alley kept setting up without the ten pin. I highly recommend the pro shop. The service there is outstanding. The pizza is okay.

Rude customer service. Attended birthday party for 5 year olds. They actually charged the parents that went onto the lane to help their child bowl! What a joke! I understand charging for bowlers that try to sneak into a party but seriously? You watched these parents aid a toddler trying to learn how to bowl! Will not be frequenting this place again. There are many better bowling centers in the area. Steer clear of this one!

This bowling center is the best I've ever been to and have been continuing to go for over 3 years now. The staff is excellent, the food is amazing. Cheap prices, high quality food. They just released pulled pork and ribs and boy is it fantastic. I bowl league on monday nights and it is a blast. The owner is so friendly and kind. Thank you TBC!

Well the first couple of times I went it was great. But for about 2 months my friend and I have been going and have had nothing but problems. They'd shut our lane off or the lane would be broken. And we don't get refunds. I definitely would not recommend when classic lanes is cheaper and nicer

Love this place. My friends and I go to this place late at night normally. It's empty and really cheap. You are guaranteed to enjoy your time here. The staff will answer any questions you have and they are friendly. In addition, it's easy to find a parking spot either in front of the bowling alley or nearby.

I went up to the bar, mask on, standing 6 feet away from the people sitting. The bartender walked up to the bar signaling to talk to me, I lean in to ask for drinks, and proceed to get chewed out about "I'm breaking protocol" and just this nasty tone about health code from a bartender like I was some sort of rebellious devil. Corona has really brought out the entitlement in people. Go to Mallwitz, it's a much better family environment where you don't have to deal with bartenders taking out their nasty feelings on you.

Was fun but very busy if you go on a Friday night. The seats and rugs are old and dirty. Bartenders are slow and seem unconcerned with serving people at a reasonable pace. Make sure to watch your beers because the cleaners may take them when you’re not done. This apparently happened to a couple people and I thought it was pretty bizarre. Went back to the bar to complain and they gave us new ones.

So my family's first time was on this last new years eve 12/31/2021. The advertisement online listed a new years night deal were up to 6 people will get one lane (for 3 hours), a pizza, and a pitcher of soda for around $90. However when we got there, we were charged $140, got two lanes (for 5 people) then told no pizza or soda was included with the purchase price. My wife complained (and so did the group next to our lane) and the management agreed to give us the pizza but no soda. While we did appreciate that concession from them, it was really aggravating to not get what they had advertised. Soon after that, we noticed the original online advertisement for the new years eve party was taken down... Anyways, the pizza was really really good. They have 43 beers on tap (including one of my favorites - Flying Bison's Rusty Chain). A pitcher of Rusty Chain and a pitcher of Sprite cost me around $30 total. Summary: I'll admit I wasn't happy about the cost of the new years eve package not matching what they advertised, but everyone enjoyed themselves and the food and drink we good. I would recommend this place for family bowling but just understand as with most things now a days, you're going to be paying a lot.
