Definitely one of the better bowling places that I've been to. It can get pretty packed at times due to reserved birthday parties and busy peak periods on the weekend. Other than that, their bowling balls are nice and the $4 bowling shoes are standard. Definitely one of the cleaner and nice bowling places that I've been!

This place markets itself as the place to be - from age 6 to 93 - or something of the sort. Place kind of dead, food uninteresting. Serves its job as a bowling alley though, had no troubles with the system itself. Think they even gave us some extra time.

Super expensive, went on a Tuesday at 1pm. We’re the only ones bowling. Balls come out covered in grease, can’t even hold on to them, kept slipping and twisting my fingers. Couldn’t even finish the $50 hour we paid for.

I would give it a 3.5 star. Haven't been back since i was a little kid when we would go at least every weekend. Place has not changed most, some sections with couches now, but everything else pretty much the same. Food was very pricey and they lost on the graphics they used to have for the score keeping. Very plain but still enjoyable for a get together

Best bowling alley in Toronto, hands down. Lanes are well maintained, it's spacious, food and drinks are priced well for a good time. Convenient location near 2 highways and a major road. Lots of parking all around and the staff here are very accommodating. I will always be back!

The staff was really really racist ,they bother us and don’t let us playing , we pay 60$ per hour and after 15 minutes they start bothering us ,turn our light off suddenly, fighting us just because one of our friends didn’t wear the shoes while all the other players was playing without shoes , we change the shoes but they bother us with turning our light off, and then after 20 minutes they return us 18$

Lanes have technical issues couldn't start the game for the first 10 mins because pins couldn't load Than balls were not coming back that wasted few more mins. Than computer got stuck for 10 mins. So finally I have to change the lane.

Really cool atmosphere for a Saturday night. Seems like they renovated it recently. Price is a little steep ($60 flat with shoes and tax included for 5 people for an hour), but it was a fun night.

I’m beyond excited to give this establishment a five star rating. It was our first time visiting and we were celebrating a friends birthday so we made group reservations. The management and staff were all amazing and couldn’t have done more to ensure we were well taken care of. All the lanes worked well and the bowling alley was clean and well kept. We also ordered tons of food and we were all happy with the food quality. As a group we’ve collectively agreed to return in the future to have a great night out on those comfortable couches.

Great place to bowl. Staff or pretty nice and lanes are clean. Used to bowl at club300 but now that it's gone, World Bowl is the go to place. Their chicken wings are also very good for the price. I would recommend this place if you want a nights out with some friends or family

Great atmosphere for being with friends, family, and colleagues. Not so much for the sheer bowling part. The bowling balls were VERY slippery, felt like there was vaseline or hand creme on it. And all our party felt that too. It is family friendly and there are UV lights, very cool that some balls glowed in the dark. Disclaimer: The shoes are over $12 for rental, so watch your budget wisely if you care. Overall, decent experience.

Horrible place to go to for kids! Lots of grown ups swearing and saying disgusting things. One man actually started to Vape when it wasn't allowed. Also if you did bowl, they'd show you music videos that weren't exactly child material. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I’ve been here in the past and it was nothing special , but during this visit we were treated so poorly and were incredibly disappointed with the experience. Staff did not seem like they wanted to work there. A pin fell out of place and a staff walked over to it, looked at it, went to find his manager, who took some time fixing it. After they finished, he walked away and we asked whether we would be getting additional time to make up for that to which he rudely replied “no”… and only gave a few minutes after we began asking for a refund. The machine itself was not working properly, constantly showing scores of 1&2 when no pins were knocked and it took a really long time to reset. Overall disappointed with quality of game & staff really need to work on their customer service and basic respect.

Huge place, you don’t need to wait long to get a lane. Lanes are all shiny and perfectly maintained. Enough seats are provided so you can play and enjoy drinking or having a bite at the same time. Prices are reasonable. Free huge parking lot outside. The bar is not over-priced.

My family and I did not have the best experience at this bowling alley. The staff was not very professional and very rude at this establishment. They were yelling at different customers. Customer service skills does not exist here. The chicken wings we ordered made my party sick and gave my mom food poisoning. The wings were larger than the size of a normal chicken so im curious to know exactly what we were eating.

Terrible bowling lanes and balls I consider myself a decent recreational bowling person. This place is large and clean and the TV Screens and sound equipment looks updated. But the lanes were not good. The one we got, 28 was uneven as we had so many gutter bowls. And the equipment was taking long time to refill the pins between one players turns and others. Some of the balls and cuts in the areas where you put your finger to hold and we had our fingers bruised throwing them. We had tough time finding a decent size 9 ball and had to take turns waiting for the one we found and it was taking long time to come back or was not until we took another turn with some other size ball. Pricing for Saturday night at $33.88 per hour and $4 shoe rental was high. They had no specials or anything like that. Overall, we are not going to visit back as we did not feel the fun for the amount and time we spent. Other smaller lanes in Markham and Scarborough area are better in my opinion.

They tend to change prices very frequently and sometimes very high. We went on Nov 6 and was charged $45 per + $5 per shoe+tax. For a group of 4 were charged $80 for an hour. We went in August an paid 80 for 2 hours. It gets very crowded during weekends but people tend to play not more than 2 hours due to price. A little waiting will get you a lane.

The lane broke down and we had to wait for a new one to be switched to. While they did take care of us, it took a long time. The balls were all cracked and chipped, and the holes were gross. They need hand sanitizer. On the plus side it was a fun experience and I enjoyed the game once we switched lanes.

Great bowling spot to casual bowl with friends or competitively. The atmosphere is very lively and can be loud. Social distancing measures in effect. Vaccination passport is required. However, face enforcement is non existent which is sad. For busy days or prime time, I would suggest making reservations.

I don't feel safe. They need to hire extra staff or designate someone to enforce mask wearing. For the rest of the hour we were playing, the lane beside us never wore masks, and even after I requested staff to enforce mask wearing - he left before he made sure they wore them. (Not entirely his fault, they seemed to not have anyone manage this). Hence half the people in this lane didn't even put them on, or had it under their chin. To make matters worse, one of them was obviously sick and coughing.

a really fun activity to do with the family. usually busy at night so don't go too late because you may have to wait. comfortable atmosphere and exciting environment. my favourite part is either when i (very rarely) get a strike and people who see in the lane next to me congratulate me or the disco bowling on friday and saturday nights where they turn down the lights, turn up the blacklights and the music making it feel like a party!

this world bowl was a waste of time for my friends and I. We bought an hour of bowling and we were wondering why the pins were taking so long to set up after a turn. So one time my friend jokingly yelled "hurry up" as the pins were being set up and one of the workers told us we had a "slow cycle". When we finished our hour of bowling (which was really like 30 mins) I went to the manager and asked for a discount due to our "slow cycle" and he was very rude. He told me that theres no such thing and that he added extra pins to our lane (which didn't make any difference). He was yelling and telling me I don't know what I was talking about and he was very disrespectful. He also has no teeth and its scary. In conclusion, if I had the option to slam my head on a counter multiple times or go back to that world bowl, I'd slam my head...much less of a headache.

Could improve ambiance, it feels a bit run-down. Like some other places they forced renting their shoe citing safety issues. (Though their shoes were more slippery as you can see in photo attached. My shoes, that they did not allow, had flat sole, were non marking, had better grip and ankle support. Such a scam/rip-off.) Customer service was not the best either.

Been coming here since I was a kid. It's a really cozy and fun experience. I noticed they renovated the right half of the venue with new couches and tables. I was wondering if they would also do the same for the whole venue (other half as well)? It looks a bit off-putting with only one side renovated, and then other customers who arrive later are placed in the lanes with the older plastic furniture. I feel that would make a huge difference in the atmosphere especially during Disco bowling and would attract more people to come.

Good venue - they have a Friday night special rate. This results in the place being really crowded which can be a challenge when you've got larger groups on either side of you. Think of it like being in an over crowded prison minus the hard stares and threats on your life. Quite a few times the group in the adjacent lane would stand in front of our lane. Didn't try the food so I can't comment on that. The guy at the counter who told us about pricing was sassy and had an attitude and hit us with "So do you want it or not?" after we asked about pricing and was told the wait time would be around 35 minutes given it was a pretty busy night. Yeah, give us like 30 seconds to decide bro and the last time a line like that was effective was in automotive sales probably in the 70s. Dude was born in the wrong era. This is a great place to spend a Friday or Saturday night. They have music, the place is glowing with nice LED lights, and they also have big screen TVs at the back of that bowling lanes playing music videos. We came here with friends for some bowling and drinks and we all had a good time. The only big downfall is, if you come on a Friday or Saturday night you'll probably end up waiting at least half hour to 45 minutes to get Elaine. Aside from that it's an excellent place.

A great place for bowling newbies to have fun with friends and family. Came here in a group of four on the afternoon of Boxing Day 2018 and it was busy with all kinds of groups, couples, families, etc. Facilities were clean, we had plenty of seating with comfortable sofas and stools at lane 32, had lots of balls to choose from, holiday music videos along with the usual playlist was playing. It all made for a good vibe. Everybody was got laughs trying to knock down pins and cheering strikes. Price seemed reasonable for a fun holiday activity, ended up $92 for two hours with all four of us renting shoes. We were able to squeeze in four games with automatic scoring keeping track of everything. Free parking in a large lot and plenty of decent restaurants in the area make for a convenient and complete time out. By the way, you use your thumb, middle and ring fingers for the holes (learned that the hard way). Go for a double!

Love this bowling alley. They have great service and are open most hours of the day. On specific dates they have great specials so look out for those on their website or check out Groupon sometimes for deals. The bowling alley had been recently upgraded to allow for plasma screen TVs and a more simplr entry system for inputting names of bowlers. They offer food and drinks and look like they are opening up a bar soon based on my last visit. They have a small arcade and on Friday nights they have disco bowling with strobe lights and music videos playing. The one issue is that on specific days they allow bowling leagues to come in and essentially take up the entire alley. It becomes difficult to find any free lanes. They have also raised the price of shoe rentals from 2-4$ which is quite the difference. All in all nice place to go but I usually go with a coupon in my hand.

Not much of a Bowler myself but I will say our corporate events here are always a good time. This place is kept really clean for a bowling alley which was impressive. The food is pretty good considering they are not a restaurant and the drinks are standard. Pricing could be a bit better overall but nonetheless it is one of the nicer bowling alleys I’ve visited.

This place has been around for ages and is a great time on the weekends. They serve alcohol and have a party like environment on weekends. They have a ton of lanes available. They also have deals on Tuesday nights if you're looking to just bowl. Shoe rentals are available, and the pricing is generally reasonable. Very conveniently located with plenty of parking.

We came here with some friends on a Tuesday night (8 PM) when they have a good promotion for $16 per hour per lane, and it was very busy. Shoes costed 4 dollars to rent. Overall the place was clean and organized. There were some problems with one of our lanes where pins or balls would be stuck, but they were able to resolve these problems.

Came here a couple months ago with a large group for bowling at night. and it was extremely busy. the wait time was about 30-60 min to get 2 lanes. was hard to find any spare bowling balls. But once we got the games going, it was all smooth sailing from there. drinks are great. food was decent. both a tad expensive but it is what it is. Shoe rentals are available. and their pricing in bowling was reasonable. Overall was happy with this place and is one of the only bowling places around the area, so I will definitely be coming back.

I come here about once a month with my family. Never have any issues with the lanes or service. We had my wife's bday here on a Saturday afternoon. We had 3 lanes for 2 hours. The seating area and lanes were clean, food was decent. The staff had no issues with all the kids running a muck. The manager at that time and all the staff were helpful. They also gave us containers to take home the extra food. Couldn't have asked for anything more. I dealt with Kim when making reservations and ordering food. She was very helpful, attentive and she answered all my questions. #Notafakereview LOL ????

Went for a night of bowling with my mother in-law and the kids. 2 hours worth of bowling for 2 lanes cost 200 including tax. During our time our lanes constantly had problem like balls getting stuck and pins randomly falling over while setting causing us to stand around and wait for the attendant to fix them. None of that really bothered me until our 2 hours ran up. I approached the manager and asked if we could finish out our games because of the 20 mins we were forced to stand around and wait. The manager told me he couldn't do it. No reason given just too bad so sad. After $200 for the lanes and another $150 in food and drink I feel like adding 20 mins so we could finish our third game wasn't asking much in the half empty facility. Also what's with all the fake reviews. 5 stars everywhere with comments like. "I bowl here is real good."

This place brings back memories. When it opened in the mid-90s, it was the only other option in the GTA for clean, smoke-free bowling in what was rural Richmond Hill before all the growth we see today. It's good to see that 23 years later, it is still in operation.

We usually come here to bowl but this time we came and the service was completely different whether it’s new management or just a change in staff since my last visit. Usually I split the bill with my friends but this time I come and they refuse too. After pressing as to why they just say “it’s company policy”. The policy isn’t up anywhere for people to see and I have been here many times and have split it each time. Then i have my tea from work but no outside drink is allowed which is understandable. I usually can ask for one of their cups so it doesn’t clash with their company and the food product they are tryin to sell but this time they refused it and told me I had to put it outside in my car or chug it while he stood there to watch. Even though I had also just bought a pizza from their location and had offered to use one of their cups so we all win. A few times I caught the workers clapping their hands at people to get them to listen. I personally will not be coming back and do not recommend if you like accommodating and friendly service.

Man I hate to give a bowling place a bad review, but this place needs some work. During our hour and a half of playing, almost 15 minutes were spent waiting for fixes of issues. First lane kept getting stuck, and computing incorrect hits ex. Hit 8 pins, it counts 9. They then switched us to the lane next to us and seemingly the same issues occured. The picture below shows it, player hit 7 pins and only 2 pins came down for second throw. And even if you were to miss the second throw, it would count you hit 1. The place is a decent price in comparison to other bowling places in GTA, but unless fixes are made, we will not be returning

I went to world bowl on Sunday evening with a group of 6. Overall this place is ok but definitely different from what photos suggest. This place is far from a disco style. the lighting was off. there was no video or music as the website and some reviews suggest. the bar and food counter look old and food quality was average. the place was super busy and far from somewhere we could relax. i have seen better places. not impressed at all.

This place has many bowling lanes - which is great because otherwise waiting times would be much longer than they already are - especially for days like Family Day. However, I find that this place is very disorganized, poorly managed and needs some renovations (and perhaps replace bowling shoes once in a while because the heel on one of the shoes I got was barely hanging on ). We purchased an hour of bowling, we got lane #3, and every 15 minutes we were interrupted due to technical difficulties because our lane would randomly stop working and just shut off. So I recommend buying double the time (of which you actually want to spend bowling) considering almost half of that time you may be running back and forth to the front desk to have them send a technician out to fix something in your lane.

I’ve been to a few bowling establishments and World Bowl ranks right up there with the best. Great for an afternoon out with the family, clean, good crowd, the ball selection is great - even when the place is full. They have really nice party rooms available for any event. Had my kids birthdays there a couple of times. Always a hit with the guests. Accessible and free parking, just remember to call ahead they do get busy sometimes.

Paid for 1 hour with my fiancée and her family for a bit of fun on a Saturday night, but spent more time at the front desk getting them to fix issues than playing. Scores didn’t advance between plays (virtually every persons turn) forcing me to go the desk for a reset, and the lane also broke down for collective total of 10 minutes (reset controls on the lane didn’t work half the time). Virtually burnt 10 minutes out of our prepaid hour. After only getting through half the first game in over an hour (now 9:30pm), and having to go to the desk virtually every bowl, we gave up. Asked for time we lost due to mechanical issues of the lanes and was refused by one of the associates at the desk. No apology - just a “sorry, next time tell us before the game started”, and a “Go ask the other guy”. No offer of a voucher or any other alternative to another lane. Wouldn’t even refund the lost time. With one hour, we couldnt even get two games in with just 4 people. Clearly they don’t care about good customer service. Walked out in disgust, no refund, and no complete games played. Lanes and balls are run down and in need of repairs - balls look like they’ve been in use for decades. Other facilities (e.g. toilets) also not great. Despite this being our local bowling alley, we won’t be back

It feels like a time capsule that is authentic which is cool! You can also get Pocky at the food stand which is always a bonus. Big place so it wasn't difficult to move around, as mentioned in other reviews food is basic (fries, fried chicken, fried shrimp) and quite expensive. This facility ranks in the top 5 worst customer experiences of my life. Before arrived we called to see if this was a good night to attend- open to the public. We were assured it was an ideal night. As soon as we walked in I knew we were in trouble. We were ignored for about 5 minutes before anyone would even acknowledge we were at the counter. We asked for 2 hours. They said, pay for one now then come back if you want more. OK. They put us in a crappy lane wedged between seating. We ask to move one lane over. After arguing for 5 more minutes they comply. 3 frames in...the lane shuts down and goes dark. A man comes over to say the lane is broken, you have to move over to the other one. They say it will take 15 minutes to fix. Sensing their bluff we say ok...we'll wait. After back and forth discussion about this clear ruse they ADMIT TO LYING about the lane being broken and move us to another more comfortable lane after a lot of arguing. After the time is almost up we go to the counter to extend for another hour. Sorry, you can't we only have six lanes open to the public and they are all being used. There is a massive tournament happening and we need the lanes. You may be remembering the beginning of this tale when I called to see if this was a good night to come. LIED again. We left, angry and deeply dissatisfied. The overall vibe is that they didn't want us there and our patronage wasn't wantED from the get go. The facilities are dilapidated, the staff treats you like you are an idiot and there's are good chance you won't be welcome. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

The first time I went here with my friends the service was exceptional and the staff was great. Sad to say the second visit wasn't on the same level at all. Although we got there around 12:50am, we were told we wouldn't be able to get a full hour despite the fact that they close at 2:00am. Clearly the staff wanted us out before 2:00am so they could leave at 2:00am. In our final game, it was 1:48am and we had 2 frames left to bowl, despite offering to pay extra to finish our game, they lied and told us there was no way to override the system and we wouldn't be able to finish. It was only 3 of us bowling and we would've been done within 3 or 4 minutes because we're all fast bowlers. Also part of the reason we didn't finish that last game is because the lane we were in would often freeze up when reloading the pins and slow our game down. The first time we went there we got to bowl right up until 2:00am and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. How there can be such a vast difference from one set of staff to another is appalling to me, but something needs to be done and standards need to be upheld or changed so the experience is the same across the board. Very disappointed in that staff from last week, April 20th, 2019.

Customer service is s**t. They don’t care to cater for your needs. Your questions are unanswered. Food is expensive for the quality and quantity they give and make sure your bill is correct as I was overcharged. Wouldn’t have came here if other places were open.

Know when they have special rates and that's when you go to bowl. They charge by time not by the games. Check out their snack bar for their chicken wings. They are delicious and they are huge. Be careful how many you order because they call a wing a wing - that means all 3 pieces that make up a chicken wing. Very clean washrooms. The entire center is very clean.

Poor World Bowl. They're set up with 40 lanes and are normally busy. Government lockdowns and public health restrictions have either locked them out or reduced the numbers they're allowed to serve to 10 (before full lockdown). It's a big place and can easily accommodate many bowlers and still physically distancing from others. When things open up again go support your local establishment.

30bucks for all you can bowl. I'm no big bowler but the place is great. Awesome for big groups but price is justified depending on how much you like bowling. Bottle of water is 3bucks. Large free parking area.

Good atmosphere. Went there on Sunday afternoon. It cost $20 for one hour and $4 shoes for person. Lanes were well maintained but shoes were a bit old dirty. Still it was a good experience.

This is what happens when you use brand new ball at this ally. It get's stuck in the machine and get's all scratched up and ruined. Don't expect and apology or a sense of responsibility from the owner. If you are league or are in a league, I would highly recommend you think twice.

Heads up... you must call ahead and reserve lanes to avoid disappointment. My husband and I were here last Saturday at 1pm. We are avid bowlers and found the lanes to be expensive - they charge per lane, per hour. Lanes turned off quite a bit which was annoying. Especially when you're paying per hour so we had to ask to start it up again every time it happened. Every minute counts! Bowlers are separated with a few lanes in between to adhere to social distancing. Must wear masks at all times. Service is okay. They get a little frazzled at times. Cleaner needs to do a better job instead of just spraying the air, that I have noticed. Didn't eat the food but it is available for take out and dine-in. Overall, this bowling alley is okay.

Website offers a special for $17.88 per lane per hour. Got to the bowling alley with 7 kids, and found out they reserve the right to change the rate at any time. I guess they decided to charge me $31 per lane per hour that day. To add to that, the employee was almost completely incapable of communicating in English...and when I could understand them, they were extremely rude. Shoe rental is also overpriced. You're better off going to Markham bowl.

Good price for a Tuesday, our lane was making some mistakes, not a huge deal because we weren't bowling seriously but might get annoying for ppl who are competitive. Was pretty busy had to wait for 20 min for 1 lane. Otherwise it was fine.

Will not be coming back... Came here on a tuesday for their 8pm special. Decided to arrive half hour hourly just to reserve a spot, the old man tells me lanes would be available at 9pm so I decided to wait. What a big mistake that was, went up to the counter at 9pm asking when I would get a lane the old man tells me he does not know and says "we are busy I dont know maybe 9:30-10pm". They are never accuret with time and while you wait they have other lanes reserved for their "leagues". They lose so much business waiting for these leagues to show up. Lanes were free since 8pm until 9:05pm they could have let other people play while the leagues came. If you decide to come here on a tuesday special be prepared to wait over 2 hours for a lane. I will definitely not be coming back and ill be sure to let my friends know how bad the customer service is here.

Had a good time. Was quick and easy to get started. Staff were polite on the phone and in person. Friendly and professional. Went out of their way to advise and setup game so it was more friendly for our young players when we didn't even know they could accommodate. People were spread out for pandemic reasons. This is 10 pin and not 5 pin. Staff were moving around and wiping down bowling balls after each group. Cost was reasonable. Does we got were clean and in good condition. We didn't try the food. Washrooms were clean. Lots of free parking out front in the lot. Was a good experience overall.

I went there on a Tuesday with a Groupon at 6:30 pm. The place was very quiet, it picked up around 7. It was an ok experience, the lane stopped working 3 times, I found it weird that it was just ours. It felt like we were given the lane with technical problems because we were Groupon customers, all the others seemed to work fine. This resulted in about 15-20 mins of dead time out of 90 mins At the end, we were almost done our game but the attendant disabled our lane just before our second last person took their shot, I thought the lane was acting up again but to my surprise he said "TIME IS UP" and when I asked to just allow the player to finish their shot, he said a firm "NO!" which I found surprising considering the delays we incured. Keep track of your time as they cut corners if you don't. Because of how rude they were at the end about allowing us the additional 5 minutes we needed, I don't recommend it and would never go back. Horrible customer service. There wasn't even a line for people who wanted to play after us, so it wouldn't have hurt them to grant it to us... but they just wouldn't........ Saying they added an additional 10 minutes (which they didn't, I checked my receipt for start time)

World bowl is quite a popular place. Lots of people come both for recreational and for league. Their lanes are maintained quite well with fair amount of oil. They have decent amount of lanes so the rotation is somewhat fast. One downside is that it’s a bit steep on the price, and some of the employees there are quite dry. Not rude per se, but rather just no hint of friendliness, as if they dont really want to work. Overall, it is still a good bowling so I would go back here if I go bowling.

Super disappointed. Called in advance to reserve a couple of lanes and was told reservations weren't needed and to just show up. We arrived and found out that leagues took up the entire alley and there were no lanes available. Was given we don't need family business attitude when we mentioned that we called in advance. I mean, not Club 300 which was a staple as there are less alleys to bowl. Prices are steep as a result, use to have Red Pin Friday's to give discounts for strikes, it sometimes has lags for the reset of the pins which takes away from timed games. Used to have Eric's Bowl Shop for bowling items but looks like COVID-19 got the best of them too.

Worst customer experience. Staff at the front kicked us out because we entered with tea!!! There is a sign that states no outdoor food or drink when you go to pay for a lane although they could have nicely told us. Instead they KICKED US OUT. People entered with water bottles and were NOT kicked out. So when we finished our tea we went back to say they turned down loyal customers over a $2 tea even though they let people bring in water bottles. They told us water was okay. SO WHY IS HOT WATER NOT?! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Cannot comment on the bowling since we were not allowed to.
