I love bowling, so it's always great however, I wish the staff members were more friendly and willing to help as the machines tend to get stuck often. So if you are the type who seeks friendly efficient service? This isn't the place for you yet if you enjoy bowling as much as I do, you'll bite through that experience to enjoy the next hour or two.

I just want to commend Wendy from let's, go bowling Claremont on her outstanding customer service. We were hosting a kids, birthday party and due to rain had to change the venue last minute. We called the let's go bowling in Centurion no answer as their lines, have been down since Thursday (we discovered ) so we took a, chance and called the branch in Claremont to get an alternative no for Centurion. Wendy answered our call suggested that she call the owner of the Centurion Tshwane and sort it out and get the owner to Call us. She, asked us, when we wanted to go amd how many kids, etc. Within 30 min R C the owner at the Centurion branch called us and accommodated us. We were bowled over with the service we received today. We certainly have very helpful and kind people out there, that work together and nothing was, too much trouble for Wendy who is sitting all the way in Cape Town and we in Centurion. Thank you to Wendy and Rc our day was made special

Went bowling as a team build and although the occasion was fun, the facilities feel dirty and old. We also all had a chicken and chips basket and experienced major stomach issues the rest of that evening and next day. I have to mention though that the staff were very friendly

Unfortunately with the construction work in the mall, the drilling and Jack hammers made things a little unpleasant, but this too shall pass. The lost star was due to the coffee machine being out of order and none of the shops upstairs had coffee, or had no beans, such a shame really

Let's go bowling is in my opinion a rather fun away to have a social evening with a group of friends or even a great way to do a bit of team building with work colleagues. What to me was the highlight is that I could bowl in my own shoes and not have to wear shoes worn by a multitude of people before me. Refreshments are on sale, the environment is lively, great upbeat music and all round fun is guaranteed. At R 50 per game it's truly good value for money, great fun for family outings as well.

The place is still under construction so it's not easy to find the place for your first time. Bowling was fun. They also have a bar with a pool table, mini golf and little fast food place. I think if the place was not under construction I was going to enjoy it more. But it took us 15 minutes to find the place. For first impression that's not impressive.

We've tried going there 3 times in recent months for team building & each time it was the same story or worse. I was going to book in advance but when I read online under Thursday. It said you can’t book and it’s “first come first serve”. I decided to get there fairly early to not miss out but upon arriving I was told by a very rude, arrogant employee that they are fully booked and I should have booked in advance. I told her I didn’t book because of what the website said. She then said “you can’t book the special but you can book for the normal price” or something along those lines. The website is misleading and the staff is extremely rude. I’m disgusted by their service or lack there of.

This is a great place to chill with a group of friends. I just wish they would finish renovating already. Last time I went there, in August, a guy was hiding behind those nets waiting to rob us but stopped when he saw another group of people coming in behind us. As my birthday treat, had to take my daughters and nephew bowling and with Stadium on Main being the closest, opted to go there. First thing the kids told me (as they've been there before), park at Cavendish Centre then they can use the loo's there before we go as you have to pay R2 to use the toilets at "Let's Go Bowling" - My nephew was not impressed with his previous visit of the toilets. The alley is on the lower floor and the escalator was not working and the up side out of order so people going up and down had to use the same and when we arrived, a couple of people came up so we had to wait before we could go down. The bowling itself was not so bad - I haven't been there in ages myself. Many of the balls had cracks in the finger holes. The holes in the balls for the kids was much too small as their fingers could not fit. My youngest wanted a coke and that cost R15 for a dumpy - rather expensive. For a Friday, it was not too busy. We had fun though and it was only R50 per person to play.

This is place does not enfore covid protection protocols. People in there were busy playing pool and bowling with no mask on. All management did was speak to them - multiple times. This kind of behaviour is not on. Everyone wants to have fun but under current circumstances we need to be safe while having fun and be considerate of those around us. But this does not happen at Lets Go Bowling in Cape Town. The place is overcrowded as well. Bowling lanes have way too many people in them all not wearing masks. I really would not recommend this place if you want to be safe while having fun. Really disappointing.

There were a few technical difficulties and we kept on having to ask for help. It also seems like there's only one person there to do everything. Otherwise a good experience!

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Although the lanes are a little "tired" it was great fun and the removable lane barriers ensure that the little ones have a more enjoyable experience than would usually be the case. There is a bar and smoking area and a games arcade and short mini golf course to round out the experience. The food is extremely reasonable and surprisingly good for the price.

We have been visiting the bowling place in Claremont as a family for a number of years. We are not serious bowlers - we just do it for fun. I regret to say that we have noticed the decline in the condition of the equipment. Yesterday, we found that nearly half of the bowling alleys was of of service for some reason or another and we were swapped 3 times due to malfunctions. I brought this up with the management who apologised, but it was clear that they themselves are frustrated with the condition of affairs, saying that the owners has been aware of the poor condition and nothing was done about it. The maintenance man showed me some broken mechanical parts which is clearly beyond repair and he seemed helpless to do anything. I think that this is a disgrace to the customers and unfair to your staff. We were offered free tickets for the next visit, but I doubt that we'll be back. We dont want free games - we want the place to work correctly when we are there.

The service is absolutely shocking. When we arrived the woman at the counter was grumpy and had no intentions of assisting us. The equipment was broken, we had to fix the rails ourselves twice. The cost was R50 pp. Although the decor is nice and gives off a good vibe I don't think I will be going back anytime soon.

We went there for team building in the evening. It was enjoyable, however the facilities were not up to scratch. Our alley got jammed a few times so we had to eventually swap over to another alley. The chicken strips and chips portions were very small for the price we paid and we had stomach problems the next day. I also had numerous problems with sending through proof of payment. I sent at least 3 emails with the proof of payment, yet they still didn't get it- very irritating. We eventually had to show them on their PC the proof of payment before they saw it. I also found it ridiculous that we had to pay to use the toilets.

It is always fun to go bowling. Unfortunately there are major renovations in the building so it is not that pleasant. The lanes are also not always working so well. Usually it is a good idea to book in advance. Generally it is a fun place to visit though

Awesome place to entertain both kids and adults. Ten pin bowling as well as a games arcade. Kiddies parties can be hosted at ten pin bowling as well. Something different to do with the kids

Poorly run Run down Most lanes don’t work Understaffed No one seems to know what’s going on. You spend more time waiting for them to fix the lanes, than you do bowling. Can not recommend that any one comes here.

Fantastic setup, but just too pricey if you going in a group. About R95 for adults and R75 for kids. But I guess there is people willing too spend that amount. I dont think the staff was as friendly as they should of been we decided to go to grand west instead more options for less spend.

Whoever operates this place takes little pride in keeping the place clean and functional. It is generally really run down and equipment is old as heck. Staff are not well trained and lack any enthusiasm. This could be a great place if managed properly.

Wife and I went bowling. Made a booking a few days inadvance. This is somewhat essential especially for groups over 5. Reasonably priced... R50 per game. Yes the lanes are "tired" and we had some issues. We went to deskmand asked for help and were assited quite quickly. Also there was a staff member walking around as well which helped. Food menu looked reasonable although we had nothing to eat. Overall a fun experience and we actually thinking of doing it as a monthly outing.
