Went here for some bowling. The lanes are not well maintained. I must have been months since they were last cleaned or oiled. Do not bowl here if you use any kind of spin. It's straight down the lane or gutter ball. Also... No refills on soda pop is not acceptable.

I really have disliked this place. I went two times for fun. Both experiences were bad. The first time with my friends. We went bowling. First of all, the prices for everything is ridiculously expensive. They charged so much for one hour of bowling. The shoes are slippery and uncomfortable. People are rude that works there. The machines are always broken. The ball would always get stuck and someone would always have to come and get it. The balls are way too heavy. The second time was when I went with my boyfriend. There was this witchy women who was being witchy to me. There was not enough arcade games. Everything is an rip off. I would recommend any other place except for this one.

Very nice inside. Service is sort of lacklustre. An okay selection of arcade games. No music games (no DDR). The alleys are nice and well kept. Food tastes alright. Price is kinda high on the food there. At least on some of it. Still the nicest alley going in Cambridge.

Its an excellent addition to the Cambridge centre! We had called to book for a birthday party and the man who answered was polite, enthusiastic and very helpful. He directed us to go through groupon for a cheaper price on the laser tag- (we paid 79.99 for unlimited play from 11am until 1 am that following night for six people). The arcade games were a bit pricey considering there werent very many although there was the typical basket ball game, air hockey, skee ball i think?, a motorcycle game. There was bowling which you have to pay for seperately. Then for the little childrens playground its $10 per kid aged up to 12... Not allowed to Bring in outside food or drink and the drinks are ridiculously pricey. But overall the kids had a great time, playing lasertag and the arcade games, our little guy(3yrs old) had a ton of fun playing in the playground area! The only thing i didnt enjoy was the prices and the fact we couldnt bring our own drinks.

Service and food is horrible and the prices are through the roof. I had ordered a slushie and waited 30 MINUTES for it and then I went to go say something and they said that the flavor wasn't frozen and that it would be five to ten minutes which they never told me when I had ordered and then I wait another 30 MINUTES when they said it would take five minutes and they gave me my slushie in liquid, I thought that they would freeze it overnight. Don't give this place your money

Had my daughters 3rd birthday party here. Clean facility, kids enjoyed the play structure and arcade games. Birthday package was a big high priced for value. Not enough food, cake looked unprofessional. Party room was biggest disappointment - shared with 3 other parties and 1 hour limit (not ideal for small children, decorations and place to keep presents while children play.) Should mention 2nd party room completely empty that could have been utilized.

**Absolutely blown away by the amazing care and service we received here tonight.** My kids and I came in tonight to play at the park, and maybe play a few games before grabbing pizza. When it came time, I told my kids, 4&9, that I'll order the pizza and they should find a table and I turned my back. Well, my 4 year old bolted and ran straight into the corner of the railing on the ramp, cutting open the top of his head. I saw blood and ran to the bar, where the staff grabbed me a warm cloth and the manager-so quickly! They were all so incredibly warm, and cheerful, and just...wonderful to him (and us). They cleaned him up nicely, gave him some orange juice, filled out the report(also very quickly) and sent us off to emerge to have him glued up. When I called hours later to give the manager, Mike, an update he was just as great on the phone. I really appreciate what Mike and his staff did for my little boy tonight. I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you guys. Really.

Was actually fun once we started bowling, but god almighty is this place expensive. Me and a buddy went once and there were no free lanes, so I booked in advance to assure us one. Two people in one lane for an hour, plus shoe rentals cost 50$, and that's not even taking the menu into consideration, which we didn't get anything. TLDR: Bowling is fun when you're doing, just not for the prices they're offering.

What a fun place! So many different games and very large space. The bowling lanes were very dry and the bowling balls wouldn’t spin, the virtual reality was 30 tokens but really fun for a first timer. The 20.00 unlimited play is a great option if you don’t need to win tickets or toys. Lots of different arcade games to play, there is a really good laser tag with 2 levels, a children’s playground and a large eating area. The service was very slow but they were understaffed. The food was really good and prices might have been a little high. We had a great time and the staff very helpful and friendly even though they were short staffed and running all over the place. Management needs to do a better job staffing back up for weekends!

A place truly for the whole family. We were there to celebrate an event through my wifes work. Everyone was treated well by the staff and all had enough to keep theirselves content. Highly recommended place for partying or simply to get out to enjoy oneself playing video games or bowl. Was nice seeing the pool tables there as well. #celebrity_bucks

Great arcade in a the perfect loaction. Has lots of games, a play structure, virtual reality, laser tag and bowling so basically everything. Prices are about normal for an arcade and love that it is attached to the mall so you can go and shop or have more of a selection of food if wanted.

I’m not much of a bowler, but I had a great time with friends playing the arcade games. I actually prefer it to the Rec Rooms I’ve been to. The games are modern and $30 of tokens was enough for 1.5 hours of games for 3 people.

Hosted our child's birthday party here. We got a room to have the party with cake and pizza provided, then the kids got wrist bands to play in the play structure for as much time as they wanted for the remainder of the day. They also got a card with a small amount of credits to play the arcade games which can win tickets to claim prizes. Kingpin has a giant play structure (which is the best kept within the area), laser tag, arcade, restaurant/bar, bowling and party rooms for rent. It's a great place to come to as there are things to do for all ages.

Fun place for both kids and Adults. Has a licensed bowling area with about 20 lanes, plus full arcade and lazer tag. It's also attached to the Cambridge Centre. If you want to take your kids, have a few drinks and play video games or just sit and watch them it's perfect. There's also a fenced in play area for kids 5 and under with a locked gate. Perfect for the little ones.

This place is really awesome!! My Grandson's birthday party was held here!! The kids had so much fun!! I only have one complaint...the pizza slices were way to big for small kids and we had to search for a staff member to get a knife to cut the slices. We got a table knife! Also there were no plates and not enough forks to serve the cake!! So again we had to search out staff and wait and still didn't have enough forks!!!

Lots of fun with not just bowling but arcade games and laser tag as well! Tons of fun with the family and even an indoor jungle gym for kids that is fenced and opened by swiping a card. Great to not have to worry about where your kids have run off to! The arcade games earn you points which then can be used to get toys and other cool things. Only downfall is bowling is quite expensive compared to other bowling lanes.

We celebrated cousin's bday at the King pin Cambridge. It was quite crowded on Saturday. I would recommend to book at least the table with bowling on both sides, if you have more then 4 guests. It make the game more intresting and other people don't need to wait toi long. Food was good and fresh. Arcade Zone is big enough for various games and machines. Also different bonuses are available if you are winning at the game and you can exchange them at the gift store.

Fun bowling night with some people from work. New facility means smooth operation of the bowling lanes and lots of extra entertainment like big screens for music videos. Food is decent quality similar to most pub food. Nachos and pizza were tasty. Beer & drink selection is good. What more do you want? This place even has laser tag, arcade and redemption games, and a jungle gym for the kids. A welcome addition to the mall, hopefully the start of reinvigorating this area.

Lets put the price issue aside for a second, as far as an arcade/bowling/kids play area etc, this place has it all. However, managment you need to chill with the prices. You're gonna get a lot of people in the first time for the curiosity factor, how many are going to be repeat customers at these prices? Not this guy anyways. Id be a weekly customer if the prices were reasonable. The way it is now, I might go once a year.

Nice place for the kids to play for an hour or two. The best arcade card to buy is the unlimited 2 hour card for 20.00. 3 kids can play off of 1 card. You just have to wait 30 seconds between swipes. Who cares if you can’t earn credits for prizes. Just go to dollarama after and buy the kids something for a fraction of the price!

We made a reservation for 4pm. Got there early and played in the kids climber for a while. When it was time for us to bowl we went up and were told that the lane that they had reserved for us was booked for another hour by the people already using it and that we couldn't get a lane until at least 6pm. We spoke to the manager and were told that people already on the lane have priority over those waiting with a reservation. Definitely will not be going back!

We came out as a family and had a great time. Staff is friendly and the place is kept clean. There is a bar with restaurant, pool tables, arcade games, virtual reality, kids playground - plenty of entertainment for all age groups. I would definitely recommend it.

Fabulous place for the kids to play! Especially on Wednesday's as they have a deal that includes lunch too (~$10 for meal and play each child). My kids, 1-5yo, loved it in the play place and devoured the food. There was so much food in the kids meals, I could have easily foregone my own order and filled my stomach on their leftovers! I wish their play pass cards were reused though as I feel that their current entry system would create a lot of unnecessary waste. Will be returning!

I finally took our family here and was very disappointed. We are a family of 5 (kids 9,7,2) and were joined by our friend’s, family of 4 (kids 9,7). We booked our lane prior, arrived 20 min early and they didn’t give us our shoes until 10 min prior. By the time we had everyone in proper shoes, it was 5 min into our 1-hour. We had the two farthest lanes which was great for our group. The farthest lane had issues with the iPad, so it needed to be restarted, which also restarted our kids lane beside us. By the time we got to start our game, it was 25 min into our hour. One of the pins on our lane never triggered as down, so every strike on our lane was counted as a spare. Not a big deal, but annoying. We pressed the request food service button 6 times on our lane iPad before finally going to the front desk to place a food order. However, we were informed there were no servers working (7pm Saturday) and we had to order at the bar, which was busy. Since we now only had 15 min left in our hour, we decided to skip the food and drinks until later. Our time ended at the hour mark and we were a bit surprised it hadn’t been extended due to the technical difficulties. We decided to go elsewhere to spend money on food and drinks. We were amazed at the lack of service and services provided. Cambridge is a hard town for any business to survive in and if this is the standard, then I assume they won’t last long. We were very disappointed because our family had been excited about Kingpin in Cambridge since we first heard word of it opening. Oh, and when we left and mentioned the pin not resetting, they said ”ya we know”. ...thanks for putting us on a dysfunctioning lane at full price!!! Much appreciated. Not likely going back unless I hear from others that it's improved. ...disappointing :(

The "restaurant" portion of this establishment is very weird, you are right next to the alley + the music it is nearly impossible to have a conversation, the food is mediocre at best, priced high, bland, most things did not come as stated on the menu, between 6 dishes no one was happy, next to no wait staff, wouldn't recommend it and won't return

Don't recommend this place for kids birthday parties. There are no private party rooms just one big one that host 4-6 parties at once. They say the pizza is served promptly at a set time but ended up waiting 30 minutes for it. Service was meh.

This is a hidden gem location. Coming from Kitchener, i didnt know this location existed, but find it to be better than the kitchener location. Only reason to go to Kitchener location would be for dining (yes this place has food too). The bowling section is smaller and a bit more intimate, laser tag the kids really enjoy and in-between is a small arcade. Location and staff are great

Horrible family day experience, book the lane for two hours they put the reservation in wrong so then we only could bowl for an hour to only be cut off after 40 mins! Unorganized and very disappointing! Wings were cold, they were out of sour cream so they served ranch with the nachos(could have done guacamole as a substitute) service was slow. Wouldn’t recommend drive the extra 20 mins to the kingpin in Kitchener

After reading the reviews I was thinking “alright, how bad could they be?” I recently moved from Mississauga where everything is priced at a much higher price point so I was thinking it would be something more in line with those prices. At $44 dollars to rent a lane for an hour it is more than it costs to rent a lane in Niagara Falls on Clifton Hill! I really am not sure what they are thinking. I know they have added daily deals now, but not a chance they would stay in business this way, especially not at the Cambridge centre. This is a mall that is already struggling, you won’t stick around with prices like that. :( Disappointing.

Hosted my daughters birthday here, party room is huge and the staff was very friendly. So much to do with the kids as well as for the adults. Everything from the little ones playing in the play structure to the grown ups bowling and enjoying a pint. Cool video games for all ages too. Lots of fairly priced options for different gaming/bowling packages and deals throughout the week. Great location too, right in the heart of Cambridge off Hespeler road.

My gf and I thought we'd go back here because we had enjoyed it so much when we went earlier this year. We thought we'd get the arcade pass again because it offered unlimited gameplay for 2 hours for only $19.99. Unfortunately, they cut the time in half but still charge the same price. Although we still enjoyed the arcade, I think doubling the price is egregious.

First they charge 13 dollars for child's play ground. Little much for a 3 year old. Second no family washroom. Washroom are located in the bar. Which they say is a restaurant but the restaurant is on other side. Then waited 30 minutes to usee wheelchair accessible and nope just door was locked. So fathers have to take there children to the men's washroom in the bar. Won't be going back. Not child friendly

Wonderful place to visit in Cambridge for those looking for fun. Staff is amazing specially Blake and Mike (I hope I am spelling their names correctly). We were there on a field trip and our students enjoyed alot. We will be visiting this place more often, as being asked by our students, we would like to see Blake and Mike there as well every time in addition to other helpful staff.

Very Expensive!!! Went on a Sunday at 6:30-7pm and the place was empty probably had about 20 people inside. I ended up paying for 1hr of bowling , two adults and two children ages 10 and 5 and with shoe rentals $58. Bowling $30hr and Shoes $5.25 a pair + taxes. Seriously!!! The food is expensive!! The pizza is Pizza Pizza from what I seen and a large pizza starts at $25 Crazy!! Online Menu has no prices. Kids playground is expensive I think it was between $10-14 to enter that’s per child. Ridiculous!! This place won’t last if it continues to charge these kind of prices. Probably won’t go back.

Very over priced with terrible service. We ordered food and drinks and we had to go to the bar everytime and server would actually ask us to take other drinks to the people at our party. I wouldn't mind paying $60 and hour if we actually had service to the lanes as promised! iBowl all the way next time for sure!!! I was warned about this but instead we spent $170 to have 2 lanes for a Bday.. big mistake. I should have listened to everyone!!

Terrible for bowling good Lazer tag. The drinks took 25 minutes to show up (2 waters and a watered down rim and coke) they forgot to bring the beer. When we went to ask for the beer we we're given a warm beer. The bowling was glitchy and no where near worth the price. I will not be returning and can not recommend.

Great place and lots of fun! My boyfriend and I just went in to check it out. We ended up buying game credits and spent over an hour playing. We went back a few days later and played again. We still need to try the bowling and food but the arcade area is awesome!

We bowled for an hour planned on having drinks and some food. No server came to us so I went to the bar to order. The bartender said the waitress will serve you I will tell her to come to your lane. The server walked by us numerous times looked at us and kept going. NO DRINKS NO FOOD NOTHING. Poor service

Had a great time here for daughters 4th birthday she loved the indoor play ground and the arcade style games my husband enjoyed the virtual reality game , this was literally fun for the whole family. Only one problem when we were there my father inks ordered a beer and they gave him one that was half drank! I'm sure this was a one off mistake .

I was at king pin yesterday with my family and it was one of the best times I've gone. I've only been there about 6 or 7 times, but every other time, there was a girl behind the front counter and the bar counter and they always made you feel like you're a bother to them and taking them away from their talking. Yesterday however, I had the pleasure of feel of with Blake and he was amazing! Very accommodating and friendly! He made me a sangria and I walked away from the counter and he brought me over a new one because he realize he had made a mistake when making it! I would go back a million and one times, just because of Blake and the service he gave us! Well Done Blake! You made our day! :)

Service was terrible waited over an hour and a half to get our food that had to be prepaid. When it came it was low quality I would have a hard time feeding my dogs the food. No apology about the service and the girl behind the bar only gave excuses. Lady it was dead there are no excuses. The only reason this place got 2 stars is because my kids really like bowling.

Alright guys let's get this straight, only rated 5 stars so it will make it onto Google. My family and I went their to enjoy a night out, our bowling lane malfunctioned twice in a matter of 20 minutes. Our server was new to her job and did the best she could to please us, how ever her manager wasnt pleasant to deal with. Once we were done bowling my father and I decided we were going to play pool (2$). We inserted the coins to only discover only one ball was released. Inserted another 2$ to discover the same result. Tracked down the manager to find him at the bar serving customers (bravo) how ever he handed children their slushies after the straws and beverages itself was buy his mouth. Over priced and bad experience

Great atmosphere for arcade games and bowling. Modern bowling lanes and supplementary tech is new and exciting. Very spacious. Wait times for a lane are long, an hour or two wait time at least if not reserving a lane ahead of time, and even reservations which cost extra mean nothing since bowlers already in a lane have priority if they choose to extend their playtime. The food selection and quality is good, but the cost is high, and unreasonably so for the bowling. Mostly pub foods and plenty of alcoholic beverages. Similar to a Palasad or Kelsey's, but nowhere near the table-service standards you'd expect. Noticeably understaffed and it shows. There are 2 pool tables by the bowling area but are the coin-operated ones with an inner track system for the balls to reside within, which are prone to being "out of order" frequently. As a suggestion, I think KingPin would be more successful by just charging per hour to play pool and have the billiard balls at the desk or something similar to Palasad, rather than janky self-containing coin-operated tables which are out of order, effectively wasting space and potential business revenue.

Looks like this is the place for kids / teens and maybe some adult parties. There are screens in the bowling area that give the impression that music videos are played. (Because not everyone is interested in urban beats and pop / top 40 music the music videos are unappealing to me, but) the centre has games, arcades, laser tag, a play gym, prizes, a licenced bar and music of today, (if that appeals to you); so for groups, and groups of people of various ages, this is a great place to find something for everyone. Kingpin also has camps, and PA Day activities as well. Connected to the mall which is serviced by public transit, it is accessible and has access to ample parking. It's a good time for anyone looking for a total arcade experience.

Great place, lots of fun. Had a solid dinner of fish and chips and played unlimited laser tag. Bowling lanes with music videos playing looked cool. Decent amount of arcade and games equipment as well as an epic jungle gym. Was pretty slow when I went on a Tuesday but would definitely go back on a weekend. Workers were courteous and very friendly.

Just went here for the first time couple days weeks ago and this was my experience, hope it helps ! This place is crazy expensive! The layout of the place is weird ("restaurant right beside bowling alleys), in the "restaurant" you can see right into the managers office. The food was awful, and you pay about $30 per person. Honestly McDonald's has better tasting food. Laser tag was a HUGE disappointment! The arena is small, no places to hide, it's so bright in there, theres no music so you can hear everyone running/talking, they put you in random groups for the "mission' like I wasn't even on the same team as my daughter.. One mission is $10 so you get a total of 12 minutes of play, while at Laser Quest you pay $12 for a 30 minute mission and way better experience. The "play credits" for the arcade games are crazy I bought $20 worth of credits which is 100 credits it seems like a lot tell you see that a lot of games are 8-12 credits each. Bowling is stupidly expensive, I reversed online for Friday after 6pm.. I had to pay $44.95 for ONE hour which you barely get since the pins always get stuck. And $5.25 for shoe rentals! All in all this place is a disappointment as a lot of people agree with, I was so excited to see a place like this come to Cambridge and I was going to book my daughters birthday party there until I actually came and seen what it was actually like here. If they keep up with these crazy prices, Cambridge Centre will have another empty space in their mall.
