Pretty good overall. Bowling is great, lots of selection with different weights of balls and very reasonably priced with their summer special. A few arcade games, air hockey, billiards, table tennis, foosball and mini golf. All of those in one place gives it pretty decent overall variety. Customer service was good and courteous. A few issues with lanes and such but they were quick to help when asked to correct it. Arcade area is sparse with its variety, but a nice diversion if you're looking for a small sample to tack on to other activities within the establishment. Would certainly go back!

This place is really fun to go to. Especially since they renovated, they have a full bar and I'm pretty sure they have a kitchen now but I'm not 110% sure about that. They have a black light night which is pretty cool.

Food is overpriced, but that is how it is at bowling alleys, other than that pretty renovated, good selection of food. Lanes are clean, bowling balls are clean and the place is nicely maintained. Beside a casino so after some bowling you can head over there and have some more fun.

The bowing experience itself was fine. Comparable to any other bowing ally. But the customer service and food absolutely ruined our date. Went with my boyfriend and we weren't greeted and stood aimlessly at the cashier waiting to check in. It was obvious we needed help and the staff walked past us multiple times and didn't say anything to us. Some even walked right in front of us threw the help desk and completely ignored us. The food is super over prices too. 8 dollars for 5 jalapeño poppers the size of baby carrots... Won't be coming back. Pretty disappointing since the actual bowing part was fine.

One of the few places in Calgary that offers 10 pin bowling. If you are free on Sundays and Monday nights, Century Bowling has deals on those days. Lanes seem relatively well maintained. $35/hr on Sundays and $15 unlimited on Monday nights from 7-10pm.

I recently celebrated my birthday here but Im not sure that celebrate is the right word. Let me explain: We were promised a Bday room after our bowling time but never got one. Everyone had to eat my bday cake in the dark on the bowling lanes/seats while new entrants started pouring in shortly after we finished bowling. This was disruptive. To be fair we were not charged for a room so not sure what happened even though this was clearly planned and understood ahead of the party. There were many other discrepancies though so I will just list a few more below. The pizzas were horrible! (Very doughy and hardly any toppings.) Veggie dip though was good so I am not saying that all there food is substandard. 2ndly the SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! The servers brought the drinks out only after we noticed guests buying their own drinks and we had to inquire again when were the drinks coming? There must have been at least a 30 to 40min delay from when food was brought out and when we got jugs of drinks. If we did not complain they would not have even come as to be honest they completely forgot about us but did apologize. Staff besides managers were not at all into there jobs...almost apathetic (could care less) in appearance and there could have been communication issues as nobody seemed to know what was going on with our party. We had to do Everything ourselves so it hardly felt like a birthday event. For instance we had to hunt down forks and dishes for the pizza,cake and veggies as nothing was brought out with the food which again was supposed to be in a party room. On the plus side the place was relatively clean and had really good atmosphere and music and the lanes worked well. I don't bowl much so this is just my opinion but the bowling balls to me seemed really well used and maybe in some instances past there expiry date? I also enjoyed the glow in the dark bowling. Unfortunately though I wont be returning again as it was the worst hosted party/service I have seen to date and I have been to many hosted bday events. I've seen kids parties with much better organization, service and food. Having spent over $800 in 2 hours I expected a little bit more love but maybe I shouldn't feel like that?

Century is becoming our go to for bowling. It is only 10 pin so that might not be your game. They have balls for small kids, ramps, and bumpers. This really makes it a family game. They have some food services there and they are licensed as well, so getting a beer is pretty easy. They have also recently added mini golf which looks great, and my 5yr old wants to have his birthday there. The arcade looks pretty good as well.

when my friend and i first arrived we were completely ignored by the staff. the assistant manager was incredibly rude and kept walking away before we even had a chance to pay. customer service is awful. went over to the casino afterwards and the staff was way better. will definitely be back to the casino but not the bowling alley.

Had 2 lanes and o e of them was having problems but they staff was right on it and tries to help us fix the problem, we couldn't switch lanes because it was a busy night and packed but they did fix and we ended up having a good time. Poor service. No communication. Came here with children for a friend's kids birthday and it was terrible. Nobody was helpful. It was a complete cluster. First we weren't allowed to play two games. Then, one of our other people asked and we could. Complete run around. Go somewhere else to bowl that has friendlier service. Even the guy who served my drink pretty much spit in it when he spoke to me. It was discusting. I wish I could give no stars.

I like the price for this Bowling Lane. It is very reasonable for my family of 5. I have 3 sons and we enjoyed it. I was able to practice my training in Bowling back in Singapore and was able to average 180 to 200 per game in this lane. Arcade, Bowling alley etc. There is a main problem of when you go to a lane and then a employee will come up to you and tell you to move to a different lane since apparently people on wheelchairs have the right to take the place of anyone already on the lane. My friends and I have had to move 3 times due to this and ultimately decided to leave. I would recommend the Chinook Bowling Alley instead.

The Mini Golf is over priced and you can rip through the whole course in about 12 minutes. It would be better if the price got you a few rounds. A few of the holes need some repair work done on them and the hole in one on the 18th hole doesn’t do anything. It’s clearly set up to do some sort of celebration but it doesn’t work.

We had a lot of fun!!! It is a good course and some of the holes make sounds as you go though the obstacles or lift your ball 5' up to fall through a plinko like screen. Their food was good too. The kids didn't fuss and us adults were able to have an "adult" drink too. Don't see that at other places! This place is a win for me.

We've been coming here for years for bowling. Its crazy busy on the weekends and there is hardly any space to stand around the lanes. We've found in the past there is weird ventilation in the building when the fryers are going and people with asthma had a hard time breathing. Not sure if this has been fixed yet. Otherwise the alley is a really great place to have an event. I'm pretty sure we have all of our families birthdays here.

Went for a Birthday. We had a lot of fun. In terms of bowling, its simple good times. I absolutely do not recommend the food there, its pretty awful. We went on a Friday eve, and we couldnt pay per game. Im sure theres a reason for that, but we paid 60$ for 1hour, and didnt get to finish a full game (we had toddlers, they take time to throw the ball). So I would have preferred that to be more accommodating

I had dinner with a friend here a couple of weeks ago. I tried what is essentially the beef dip although I think they had a different name. The beef and bun was good as were the fries. The "au jus" was nothing like an au jus. It was a goopy thick tasteless sauce. I regret not trying the gravy as it might have been more appetizing. Our server was fairly attentive at first but stopped coming around until it was too late to bother with a refill. Probably willing to try again in the future but something different.

Century Bowling is a great place to spend time bowling with friends and family. However, it's extremely expensive and gets super busy on weekends so make sure you reserve ahead of time. I think that you can lower the price of bowling here if you bring your own bowling shoes. The food is quite cheap for how much they give you and there's a good selection of alcohol. The only thing that I feel kinda sucks is that they have an hourly rate and not by game. 1 hour is barely enough for 2 games if you have a lot of people so I suggest going for 2 to 3 hours depending on how big your party is and how fast your games go.

This place is off the hook! Superb lanes, plenty of space, attentive staff and enough food/drink to fill you up. Even the bathrooms are nice, and there's free shuffleboard. You will find yourself appreciating everything from the bowling themed carpet, new rental shoes, good acoustics and enough arcades and glow mini golf to keep the kids busy long enough you might consider having another spare or atleast striking out for the first time in weeks with someone other than your spouse!

Facilities (bowling/pool) are solid. Food on the "new" menu is so bad... it is literally inedible trash. Eat before you come or you will severely regret it. I covered my "chicken" hockey puck/burger in as many condiments as I could... it still tastes like what I'd imagine a dead animal carcus from the side of the road tastes.

Had a mini golf birthday party here for my daughter. Keith was super helpful setting it up for us. The staff was friendly. The lady at the front desk allowed me to golf for free with the kids. The lady at the bar area was also extremely helpful and friendly. The kids really enjoyed the golfing and arcade. I think we will be back again sometime to try out the black light bowling! Well maintained lanes that keep score automatically. After 6pm on Fridays they have glow bowling which is always fun (there's even a pattern in the hardwood floor that glows). If bowling isn't enough there's also glow mini golf and lots of arcade style games. Fun place!

Poor service, worn out and dilapidated place, built cheaply originally. The machines fail. Shoe sizes are wrong. No table service. Understaffed. At least it was relatively clean, I will give you that. Sheer disappointment. This is my first time to bowling in North America and I expected something better than I used to, not worse.

I would not go back again it was fun but the course is smooshed on one side of the room. It was hard to get around and hole 13 was the only interesting hole.

A good little golf course in the back of a Boeing ally. Every shot here is par 3, and they all follow the same play style. This is a good "starter" course for someone who wants to finish a two player game in less then an hour. The benefit is you can get a Groupon and it's super cheap to go on a date here. Would highly recommend bringing a water bottle as I found it kind of warm in that back area during the summer

First of all I wouldn't even give one star. My wife checked the website and it stated clearly word to word on the website that public bowling is available until 10pm on a Monday. When I went there on a Monday around 7pm with 3 guests out of country and my whole family. We all traveled from Airdrie. And was told that public bowling is not available when it clearly said it was. An employee spoke to the manager Bert who then told the employee that it stated only on the Facebook page and there front door entrance. How is one meant to know after travelling from so far, the manager didn't even come to apologise once to us but sent the employee to told us no we could not.

$18/game or $50/hour is ludicrous I asked to play one game for $18 and the cashier tried to charge me $50. She must have thought I was stupid. Tuesday night is apparently league night so good luck finding an open lane. After waiting 20 minutes for an open lane we started and the bowling alley turned off our lane in the middle of the game after 6 frames because it was 9:30 and they close at 10pm! Prices for the bowling itself are low and fair. I get the whole retro vibe, but some things are still outdated/damaged. (furniture, shoes, etc.) Overall a decent place.

this review is over a month late but I couldn’t forget about it and not post one because the experience I had here was so great! i especially want to thank Eric because his customer service was memorable. i hosted my little brothers 14th birthday party here at the end of september. it was a last minute reservation I had made for 12+ people & they were able to fit me in for 3 lanes! on a Friday night too! I even had to call in a couple times the day of to change the timing of the reservation due to some timing conflicts and they were always happy to do so! I even had to call while on my way there to push it back another 30-45 minutes!! when I got there, there was an issue with the lanes we had booked, it seemed like they were given away by the time we were ready to bowl so we had to wait a bit longer, but Eric was so accommodating and was kind enough to give everyone in my party a free round of mini golf to make up for it! Eric even gave my little brother a birthday shoutout over the speakers while we were bowling which i was told they never/rarely do but he made an exception which was awesome! the rest of the staff were so kind as well. at one point I went up to get a refill on pop and at first, the cashier told me they don’t do refills but the assistant manager said it was okay and gave free refills for my party! for the rest of the night, Eric continued to be so kind towards me and my party and helped so much until our night was over. kind of pricy when you pay by the hour and not per game, but nonetheless the drinks were great, music was great, overall a great night!

The bowling alleys are probably the best in the city. Just really nicely oiled lanes, comfy seating, and good number of bowling balls. Honestly, it doesn't get much better. Staff are pretty much what you'd expect at a bowling alley. Not great, but they're working at a bowling alley so what do you expect. Food used to be amazing! They recently changed the food stall and the selection is a shadow of what it used to be. Overpriced garbage food and drinks. Don't waste your money. If you want to do some quality bowling, this is the place to go. If you want to bowl, have some drinks, and eat some tasty food go somewhere else.

We've been here a few times, and its such a mixed bag. If they have no parties booked, its nice and easy to get a lane and play. If they have a party or two booked, you're out of luck. Its a 30min or more wait on average and you can't get proper balls. They really need to find a way to publicly post bookings so we dont drive down there to find out we can't bowl. Tried calling in a few times, again, spotty on actually answering. Food is ok, its a concession, don't expect much. Game room is pretty solid, and the ping pong tables and mini golf are nice. The complaints about the lanes breaking down are accurate, this happens too often, way too often. All and all, they are just ok here, which is a real shame because prior to their renovation, the bowling was a lot smoother, and wasn't overbooked and understaffed. Hope they make some changes, and soon. Edit: the mechanical issues are more or less resolved, but the service issues are far worse. No posting on public events or reservations means you have to drive down there to find out you can't bowl. We were asked to wait 2hrs for a lane. THEY NEED A PROPER SCHEDULING SYSTEM OR MORE LANES!

I filled out the inquiry that was suggested, thinking that would be easy, NOPE. No reply within 24-48 hours as they had stated. So Monday March 4, called back again and left 2 messages One for the general line and one for Tammy AGAIN! This time is stated that if i hadnt heard anything back by today ( march 4) it was obvious that they didnt need nor want my business. So I went ahead and booked at another place. Guess what today on March 5 I get a phone call from Tammy. Oh you had called?? Well yeah..I said since no one returned my calls or inquiry for booking i booked elsewhere. Chose this as the third and final "rubber-match" for our annual mini-golf tour between my wife and I. I really liked it, mostly because I won the best-of-3 "tour championship" on this course. My wife found it difficult because the glow-in-the-dark layout was messing with her depth perception. Her club kept hitting the ground before it hit her ball. She says she lost unfairly. This bowling area has so much space and can host very large events. They have glow-in-the-dark bowling. Their food is great. The staff was very friendly. I helped photograph and film a non-profit event at this location and they were able to host quite a number of people.

We had a work event at this location. It is a large location and at the time that we went there it was fairly quiet. They also have a mini golf area and some other activities like darts and ping pong table. The food provided was good and the staff was very helpful. The actual venue looks old, but when you are there to golf or hang out, those things do not really matter too much!

The place is ok, nothing fancy. You can tell is an older place for sure. Now the two people that we had to deal with were not very polite or nice. We still had a good time but I'm sure there are better places in Calgary.

Horrible customer service. Staff are very unprofessional and unfriendly. No one greeted when we arrived even there were two people at the front desk. They kept on talking to each other and made us wait for 10min. In the middle of our 2nd game we tried to cancel our 3rd game but they said they can’t neither cancel nor refund. The most frustrating part was that they didn’t properly tell us reasons and just left after they said what they wanted to say. Seems they need a training to learn how to properly treat their customers.

It's an older alley but they have kept it in good shape. and the price was pretty good as well. If you are looking for something to do, give this a try.

The atmosphere was great. However, we ordered 3 rounds of food and they took too long. One came an hour later, the other 45 minutes later, and then 30 minutes. We went there for a team event and the last round came after most of them left. Two of the six lanes we used had to be reset a few times as well.

We bought a groupon to play for 4 people. We had a lot of fun! The course had 18 stations, I would have liked to have another round at least! You have to wait for the family in front of you to finish their game before you can move on, so it does take away from the fun!

Great place to bowl. The day we went it wasn’t too busy and we were able to bowl right away. Price wasn’t bad and their staff was friendly. It’s also a great place because they have pretty much everything there bowling, mini golf, arcade games, pool tables and a casino so you can do a bunch of stuff on the same night. The place was clean and the arcade side is not busy at all so you aren’t waiting at all to play games.

Extremely disappointed with our experience here. Reserved two lanes for a Friday night. When we arrived it was about 10 minutes to our bowl time which we thought should leave us plenty of time to grab our shoes and get started. There was a long line up, two people working the computer/shoes and many other employees aimlessly walking around. Could possibly get another till to expedite the long line issue. We finally got to the lanes and our systems weren't ready for us to set up, so had to walk back up to the front desk to request they do this... by this time is was 10 minutes passed our bowling hour had started! On one lane, we didn't even make it through the first frame and our lane was already getting stuck. This happened FOUR Times before we were even on frame 3. When we went up to inform them of the lane getting stuck again, the employee actually accused us for the lane breaking down, saying it was because we were bowling it too soon.... I thought this was a ridiculous accusation and ignored it. On my turn, the lane got stuck again after my first throw so it proved that it wasn't me 'bowling it too soon', went up to inform them AGAIN that the lane was stuck and the same employee was argumentative saying it was my fault why it was stuck. This was now the fifth time and they finally only then gave us the option to move lanes. As we were bowling with friends we had to move our whole party (with children I might add) As compensation, they gave our one lane 10 extra minutes due to inconvenience and shut our other lane down when the hour was up. All in all we didn't get to bowl together as a group and we were not offered a refund when we asked because we barely got to bowl and paid full price. We didn't even make it through one and a half games in the hour.....! I would not recommend this place to anyone if you actually want to bowl:(

Was there on March 16th 2019 for a birthday party everything started out great your employees were friendly and helpful. The lane we had broke a few times and staff (except Tammy) was great about getting it fixed right away for us they eventually put us on another lane. then once the manager Tammy showed up at about 730pm well that lane then broke and your manager Tammy looked at us and said I'm putting you on another lane so we dont have to deal with you every 5 minutes so off to yet another lane then she started taking our 2 6lb balls that we had due to one of our guests has extremely bad back so went to get them back and she was you only need 1 ball per player so here now wasting time waiting for balls to come back thought we had wasted enough time already with broken lanes but nope let's waste some more definitely not worth the 120 that was spent just for 2hrs of bowling and 6 pair of shoes. Well once again that lane broke so we got Tammy and this time she said well Im putting someone on your lane to watch until your done like we were the ones breaking the lanes which clearly was not the case there was so many lanes shut down due to them not working right and the last time the lane broke she sat behind the counter by what I would say looked like a fax machine and laughed so I went and talked to the employee that had been great with us and he gave us enough time to finish our game and want to say THANK YOU to that employee but she went and gave him trouble for giving us that extra time he was just trying to make things right with us. I wish I had gotten the one employees name as he was so kind and was right on any issues we had I'm sorry but will not spend another dime at your bowling alley which Is a shame cuz we were all intrested in coming back for another birthday for mini golf. Never have I met a manager so ignorant. That boy never should have gotten in trouble for trying to make things right with your customers. Maybe look into him for a manager he was a young man tall and thin he knows what customer service is all about. If I could have given that young man a large til just to show him that he was doing things right. but he would not except it. Once your manager Tammy came in at around 730 your employees faces went from happy and welcoming to serious not something I like seeing when TRYING to enjoy a night out. WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

serious lack of 10 pin lanes, particularly in south calgary. We went Friday night for glow bowling. Was as expected. Beers were cold, laughs had and good time all around. Little too expensive and I'd rather pay per game then a time limit, so that's annoying. Especially when you have to get assistance to get pins reset a couple times in that hour.
