Bowling was fun don't get me wrong. My issue was with the customer service. They served me a shot from a broken glass with the broken piece in my shot. Not only could I have cut myself but I had to spit out my entire shot because I almost swallowed the shard. I complained to the bartender and his reply was "my bad". Thanks.

Staff are kind and acommodating but the venue itself is what lowers this rating. One of the screens was malfunctioning, some of the balls are in very rough shape. Additionally, it was VERY dirty. We were there at opening time so I know we should cut them some slack. That said, the floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in days or weeks. There was dirty dishes piled on some of the tables at the lanes as well as random cups - some with liquid still in them. Specifically on the backside of the front desk there were some glass bar glasses, 1 still had what looks like beer in it. Im not sure how they pass any health checks in that condition. The door was also unlocked when we arrived meaning it was not even locked up the night before (according to the morning staff). They seem to have some bad apples when it comes to staff. Its really too bad for those that care and try to do a good job.

Worst customer service ever ! I called and they told us that they will close at 12. We drove for an hour to get here and the guy at the front announce at eleven that they will close in 11:30. Without any argument we went to charge another round at 11:15 but he refused to let us play saying that it will take more than 15 minutes for us to finish a round !!! The funny thing is that our only round took 17 minutes and that’s because we went to him to fix the broken and old system which glitches every time. Anyhow, when 6 customer walks to you and literally asks you to allow them play until stated closing by you, you don’t say to them you have to leave because you are not wearing mask !! ( which I actually was )

Although the atmosphere is fun and entertaining, the service was far from acceptable. This was my first time visiting revs and it will most definitely be my last. Employees act like robots and the main downfall of this facility is their "security." My friend ordered herself 2 drinks and I was immediately approached by a security guard, demanding for identification. I understand that's his job and the interaction was completely justified and normal. However, for the rest of the night, we were glared at by security. We were not violating any rules and we're just trying to enjoy ourselves. My friend was uncomfortable the entire night, and left with only negative impressions. If you're looking for an outing with a group, I would recommend going elsewhere. Especially if you plan on having a few drinks.

I'm not much of a bowler, but I've been coming to Revs for various work and birthday related functions for years, and it's a bit of a landmark for me now. I must say that the Kansas City BBQ Shack has some amazingly good food, as we had a group catered by them for a work function. However, as amazing as the food was, for that function, the service was sorely lacking. We didn't really know what was going on, there weren't any utensils, they ran out of plates, etc. The meager staff that was on duty did their best to help us out and in the end it all worked out, but my recommendation is that if you go there as a large group (50+) get some assurances that things will be done right. That said, the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the staff, who were really run off their feet and were equally confused as we were, made up for the initial service issues. As for bowling, it's 10-pin only, but they offer a great variety of bowling options which are fun for kids partys. Space bowling, bowling bingo to name a few. They have some lanes where you can activate fences that prevent gutterballs, and have ball rolling devices if you have young kids or any disability which would prevent you from hurling a ball down the lane. The public balls are generally all in fairly poor shape, but I think that's simply the reality of any bowling alley. They could also improve things by having some more light weight balls / balls for kids, as they can be hard to find. As I'm not an avid bowler, so I can't comment on the finer points. One final observation is that the air seems really dry here. Not sure if that's for the machines or if it's a ploy to sell more drinks, but be sure to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated!

Total fun to go place with your buddies. They have like 43 lanes for bowling which shows how busy this place get. Good lighting indoor which reminds me to wear white to have good pics. Besides bowling they have 3 pool tables, arcade games and darts. Food: piazza are pretty good here with tap beer ( go for Molson) Price: 11 for each game, I recommend to play 2. Food and drink price are just normal

Equipment is incredibly old, hard to read the CRTs as they are failing. Ordered 12 pizzas for my party, they were undercooked and soggy. Expensive for frozen pizzas ;-). Staff is friendly and helpful and do their best to accommodate large groups.

Interesting bar crowd on the weekends. Not the cleanest place, but at least the shoes smelled ok. Lots to do besides bowling, pool and a bar. The BBQ/fried chicken liked good.

Played 2 games on Saturday night. The place was surprisingly empty which was unusual. They also got an arcade area with pool tables and electirc darts. Bawling balls and alleies are outdated. The scoring board and pin setting machine were malfunctioning several times as well.

The place is quite cool. A fun place to hangout with your friends. They also have a billiards table. There is plenty of space to accommodate many players at one time for bowling. The place is neat and clean and the benefit is , it’s opened till late night till around 1 am.

Overpriced.... Waited about 20 mins in line. Got shoes that weren't disinfected (someone just handed it to the cash person and he then just handed it to us), paid $22 for one person for 2 games and shoes. The lane next to us didn't even rent shoes, and no worker said anything. Why did I pay for shoe rental then?? The music is way too loud, had to shout the whole time to talk to the person next to me. Go somewhere else.

We went for a work event. Gotta say the food was amazing and such a variety. The staff was so attentive as we had about 100 people there all eating and drinking and all the plates and glasses were constantly being pick up. Great job to all the staff. Bartenders were super friendly. Would definitely go there again.

When we got to revs the facility was filthy. When we asked for a mop near our table, the guy looked at us as if we were from another planet. After we got started we ordered food from the bar. Our burger fell apart and the salad was limp and brown. The worst part was the mold particles we found in our fountain pop. We also payed for a few games and were cut off before we could even finish playing! We brought our concerns to the supervisor and we were waved off. It was not a response I thought we would get after having repeated bad experiences. I would say, go somewhere that invest money back into the facility.

Don't bother. There's never availability for families to walk in and play. Always full and reserved for leagues and parties. Unless you feel like bowling at noon. Save your time and go to The Zone in Coquitlam.

Fun place to kill an evening with friends. Cosmic bowling is awesome: they have projector screens playing old school music videos, lights all over, disco balls, black lights... It almost makes me forget that I'm awful at bowling. The beer helps too. Pitchers are $18-22, Canadian being the cheapest, but they have Heineken, Stanley Park, Belgian Moon, etc. Definitely make a reservation if you're going on a Friday/Saturday night, or expect to wait because they often don't have drop-in lanes until 10pm.

Where to start, we tried calling many times to see if we could get a lane. No one picked up. Website had nothing of interest. When we got there they had a little sign saying all the lanes are booked until 10pm. The staff at the front where less then useless helping us. So not wanting to waste the drive we stuck around for some pool. We ended up playing for about two hours. The entire time we where there more then half the lanes were not being used and they still refused to let us play. There seemed to be no reason to not let us use the empty lanes other then laziness on there part. Some thing was wrong with the 3 ball it would not go in any of the pockets ????.

Called to make a reservation for a birthday. Tried calling days in advance and it took hours to get through on the phone before we were told that it was not possible to reserve, but that it "shouldn't be a problem". Showed up at the desired time, 3pm, to be rudely turned away (apparently nothing available until 9:30pm). Another party behind us got the same treatment. Good job on being successful and busy, REVs, but you score an F for customer service. Doesn't take much to say that you're sorry and would like our business another time. Don't worry, no one from my party will be coming back!

Rev's bowling is a cool hangout place. Ordered some pizza's and soda's and bowling for a couple of games. Casual setting and the food is good too. I had a good time here. I would recommend anyone to come check it out. It's great for all ages!

I came with my kids last night. After spending a lot of money, they weren't very nice to my kids. They should put no kids allowed so people know. My son was so upset that I had to keep telling him that there is nothing wrong with him and his bowling skills. I'm sure they don't care but I would like other parents to know.

Originally tried to go to the new rec room. They were so busy, decided to try Revs, their online hours state they are open. Get there and it is permanently closed since Dec (now july2021). In the less than 5 mins we were there, there was at least 4 other cars that came to play as well. Revs is missing out on lots of business!

Went there on a Sunday morning of a long weekend. We were unpleasantly surprised to find out they had the Holiday rates rather than the Sunday's ones. Their website clearly states Sunday rates and Holiday rates. Rather that charge us $1.50 per game they wanted $8 per persons. Morons! Got turned away and went to spend our money elsewhere. Do not bother!

Good place for bowling. Lots of lanes and the bowling alley is licensed for alcohol. It's close to the Holdom SkyTrain so it's fairly convenient to get there. Ample free parking in the lot as well.

Great place, love the large area to play pool, darts and the few arcade games they have as well, really contributes to the 90s bowling alley vibe. Lots of lanes and it can get busy, but I've gotten a lane with no problem. The adjoining grill is fantastic and not too expensive, makes it a great place to have a meal and drink while you bowl.

Very fun place to play some 10 pin bowling. Cosmic bowling is the best. If you go on Wednesdays and Thursdays after 9pm you will get here best deal ever. $5 for the first game a a dollar for each game after. Also $4 for some rentals which I think is very cheap for bowling. The only thing that sucks is that most of the bowling balls they supply are old and scratched up which can make a difference in gsmeplay.

Great vibes for bowling and pool. The dart machines need loonies and on Sunday night they had been out since Friday. Bring your own loonies for darts. I was hoping to review the restaurant separately. They delivered our food to the wrong lane. When we asked about it, we got told our food was coming. Then watched them deliver it to the wrong lane again. All they had to say is it happens. We did get our money back thankfully.

Very fun atmosphere. Seems like a popular local hangout. We went on a very busy Saturday night and there were still lanes open when we got there. The rates are affordable, it's about $15 dollars-ish for a round plus shoe rental.

Friendly staff, food smells good though I didn't partake. Food genre is pun style mixed with some BBQ, but it's a bit of a captive market. Arcade is more of a pool / dart room with minimal games and the bar is tucked on the right hand side Lanes each have dedicated tables of four, with attached bucket seats like in a lecture hall. Like all places, balls and equipment show wear and tear, but it's $8 dollars a game, and $6 for shoes, so it's alright. Video screens cover a couple of lanes and can offer entertainment or distractions depending on your preference. Came during the weekend, so black lights, and music videos recreate the teen scene from the early 90's as a vibe for those looking to relive that era. Staff is friendly and quick to resolve problems or offer help in a friendly manner. A+ on the hiring choices for my night here.

This sunday, sept 10th me and my friends decided to go for bowling at this place. We were waiting for our turn to get the lane and everything was fine so far... all the employees were being nice. By the time they called us to get the lane there was this guy who called himself the manager .... he start to explain us the options and we were still deciding wich option we would get ... I don't know what was his problem but he start to mocking and teasing us out of the blue saying things like " why are you still reading the menu, I already told you the best option" " I am not gonna explain again, I already explained it" by the time we decided the best option he said we could not pay separately we would have to pay all in one transaction, so I made a simple question, why last time we could pay separately and this time we would have to pay together... and he replied me " WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?! I already told you it doesn't go through in the system" and I asked him, why he had to be so rude?! Why he couldn't just answer Politely a question?! And he asked " Am I being rude?! So all my friends and I replied yes you are, I asked him to call the manager and for my surprise he said he was the manager.. so I asked if he was the owner and he didn't reply me, I asked again and he ignored me ... so I asked to the other employee, the blond lady (very polite) and she said the owner was not him was Terry .... So I asked him his name to make a complain and he didn't want to tell me. I am wondering why he didn't want to say his name?! I asked him if he was afraid to tell his name and he was just ignoring me .. so me and my friends decided to leave and not to play anymore. I am very disappointed... how is that possible that a manager is treating his customers like this?! If he doesn't know how to deal with the customers why is he in this position?! Why he doesn't go and try to find something that he is good at?! Because definitely he is not good with people!

Fairly solid place to go bowling with friends. I've been here many times with large groups and it's a fun place to come even with kids besides playing bowling the pool tables are another option to kill some time with friends. Staff is fairly good. My only complaint is, sometimes the tables are left full of garbage and wet from drinks. Parking is also free which is very nice. Prices are also fairly good can't complain.

The time we were playing there, they were almost about to close. The staff just came and shut down our machine without saying anything, didn't even look at us. I understand you guys were closing, and we are ok if you shut down the machine, but at least tell us first, the staff didn't even look at us. Extremely rude. And yeah, we paid for the full game.

I don’t recommend this place They are not following health bc guidelines People are not wearing masks there and walking from 1 place to another without any face cover and non of the employees won’t say a thing We noticed a group of international people that wasn’t allowed to play even though they hade a valid vaccination passport and valid drivers license since they don’t have a passport as a proof of ID. The guidelines are “passport or valid drivers license is acceptable together with a vaccination Passport” The employees were just useless and simply asked them to leave. Small business are struggling this days and this business guide his employees WRONG please shot down your premises since you guys don’t really care about your place, You never reply to any type of good or bad reviews and this is luck of bad costumer service .

Revs is a classic bowlers bowling alley. I don't understand the reviews complaining about prices; other then Town & Country all the way in Vancouver, Revs is far cheaper then either of the Zone's (Richmond & Coquitlam) as well, Excalibur is now closed down. If people are taking about pricing of Cosmic bowling, again, they are still cheaper then any other house. As for the complaints of toilet paper shortages, line ups and what-not, I can only speculate that these people went on Friday or Saturday evenings. It is a bit of a bar crowd, on those evenings. Honestly though, what sort of family goes bowing at ten at night on a friday or saturday, unless they are old enough to understand that is the way it is. That is like complaining about the PNE/playland on the same evenings. Sort of ridiculous. If you want to bowl, whether a casual bowler or a serious bowler (with your own equipment, like myself) this is a great place to go. Go any evening except the weekend nights or even better, during the day. As a testament to how popular this house is, they have leagues five days a week and sometimes twice on some of those days. Other then the Zone in Richmond, no other bowling house has leagues five days a week. As well, it is large and has no five pin (Un like T & C [Very small house; 12 lanes] or the Zones [both have 6-8 lanes of five-pin]) So as a ten pin bowler, Revs is THE bowling house locally.

Bowling is always fun but as soon as we walked in the manager was arguing with a customer. They were both getting quite heated. The tables were all dirty with scattered drink cups, garbage and left over shoes under the table. The bathrooms were disgusting. The mens floor was soaked and had toilet paper all over and the womens was the same. Someone vomited in two of the sinks probably cause the toilets were so nasty. Doubt we would go back. That's too bad cause we enjoyed bowling just could hve down without all the rest.

Came here for a casual gathering a couple of weeks ago. Great pricing on a Friday, and the staff were very helpful. A wide selection of 10 pin balls were available and the bowling system was your classic, pre-2000 Brunswick. We had a few issues with the system knocking over pins we did not hit and a few times when the pin rake did not retract, but we weren't there for anything other than fun. We had brought food to eat but forgot utensils. Free of charge, the staff of Revs provided us knives, forks, plates, and napkins. We will definitely be returning to this bowling alley!

Took my cousin here last night and, like ten year olds do, she hurt her finger pretty badly and we couldn’t continue the rest the game. The staff were really accommodating, the kitchen gave her ice and the front desk staff were able to help us out since we couldn’t finish the rest of our games. Once her finger heals we will be back!

Came in here yesterday, was a great experience (even though they didn't serve alcohol). Me and my gf bowled for about half an hour. They have setup mostly everything to prevent covid-19. First of all, I came in, my bag was checked, I had a bottle of whisky, which I told the Security (Deep or Deev was his name) about. Really humble guy, checked my ID for it, had my name and info written in a record book to give my whisky back to me before I left - really professional. I seen him helping other customers go along the directions of the arrows on the floor (which i think look pretty cool). The kid who works for customer service helped me when I had a malfunction on my lane too. The washrooms are cleaner then they were before and they have a great vibe. Overall, during this pandemic, I had a great experience for bowling and didn't have to worry much or tell the staff to do this or that for customer safety. I would only recommend them to start selling liquor already cause some people like to drink with their food.

We showed up at 7 pm and was told there were no openings until 930 pm. It was Saturday but we sat at the bar and watched multiple lanes be vacant for over 1.5 hours. Their system is broken, they create a false sense of busy. They are not facililatating engagement with their community. We are not professional bowlers (not even close), we came just to have fun and celebrate 2 birthdays. Our experience began with us standing in front of the counter and being ignored by the lady (Paula) who wouldn't put her phone down. After asking about our reservation, she seemed like she was doing an enormous favor for checking us in and giving us our (wrong sized) shoes. She was mentally somewhere else. Then we had to get moved 3 times due to equipment malfunction, after begging (a lot... seriously. A LOT) for help from the same (even less friendly) lady. Our game ended 2 plays from the last round, but we were so tired of begging, that we simply left. It's unfortunate, the place looks quite nice and could provide us with lots of fun and visits. We tried talking to her in the end to share our experience, but she insisted on "there's nothing we can do about it". Manager wasn't there. Oh, and no apologies, not once. We literally asked if they couldn't even apologize (so Canadian :D), and her reply was "we cannot do that".

We went for bowling tonight and purchased 1 hour of bowl time. 40 minutes in our lane light turned off and the ball return stopped working. We called the front desk via the intercom and a worker came to help us saying he would return with the mechanic. We waited and they said we could use a different lane. The new lane we went to stopped working also and when we told the front desk worker he said, "Oh well at least you got to play most of your game" while laughing. Well, maybe we got most of our game but they got all of our money for the game. We will not return.

10 pin bowling alley. Seems like only the staff has changed over the past 10 years. The dented balls evidently show their age. Some of the TV's are hard to read. At least the lanes are maintained. Staff and service was absolutely horrible ordered a pitcher of beer, a red wine and a white as well as some nachos. Waitress brought the beer and 2 glasses of white. She corrected that and came back with the red, at which point we asked about the nachos. Was told they were on the way. Waited 10 more mins, still KO nachos. Another 10 and asked someone else for help. He came back to say there's no order for nachos but he'd let our server know. About 15 more minutes go by and still no nachos when someone else finally comes to take our order. Horrible experience.

On the weekend evenings revs is a VERY busy place. They have 24 lanes and only two waitresses that i could see. That is a heavy workload for two people. Friday and saturday nights the place is PACKED with local young adults drinking and partying. If you want to take the family my advice is go anytime other than friday-saturday after 9pm. As far as the bathrooms and general up keep i have found it to be quite good if you dont go weekend eve's

Had the worst experience at Revs Burnaby. Started off great and the girl at the counter rang us through and gave us our shoes. We asked if our games would cost $1/person after 9pm as that’s the promotion advertised. She said that our first game was $5 but would be $1 after 9pm, as that is the promotion listed. After our first game, we went back to pay for a second game (after 9pm) and the guy at the counter, Vincent, refused to honor the promotion listed on their price board. He claimed he “has more power than her” and doesn’t have to honor anything she says. Would give 0 stars if it was possible.

Great service. It's a hip party place if you like loud music and black light bowling on Friday And Saturday nights. They serve alcohol and snacks.. So it's like you are in a club but there are seats and you are bowling. It's not a place to go if you find like loud music. On a week night is probably more like traditional bowling

Friday/Saturday night prices are absurd. People go there to get wasted and take forever to bowl so it's understandable. But be prepared to pay $22 for 2 games or $30 for 3 games. Clientele are newly minted 'adults' that have been granted the ability to legally drink. The people watching is equally interesting and annoying AF.

Overpriced.... Waited about 20 mins in line. Got shoes that weren't disinfected (someone just handed it to the cash person and he then just handed it to us), paid $22 for one person for 2 games and shoes. The lane next to us didn't even rent shoes, and no worker said anything. Why did I pay for shoe rental then?? The music is way too loud, had to shout the whole time to talk to the person next to me. Go somewhere else.

The girl at the front desk didn't even make eye contact and was speaking to me pretty much like I was a peasant. Place is low priced tho. So doesn't hurt going their sometimes.

Have went on several occasions to drop-in bowl and have been turned away even though more then 20 lanes can be seen open and not in use. Something weird going on here I wouldn't give them any of your hard earned money..... Drive further and go visit a place that actually offers bowling.

Great place for late night bowling after dinner. They have darts and a few pool tables as well a few machines for arcades. Bowling balls are a bit old and need some update but for cheap bowling, this is the place to go to They also have a small corner bar area and you can order food specials to your table to bowl. If you want to host your birthday or an event, they have an upstairs lounge area or downstairs where the bar is to rent out.

Shockingly bad customer service and business. 20 of us went here for my girlfriends birthday. When we arrived at 7pm nearly every lane was free. The front desk staff said that every lane was booked until 21:30. We waited to see if the lanes would fill up... literally no lane was in use! At 20:30 there was still nearly 30 lanes not in use... when we queried this with the front desk staff they were extremely rude and ignorant in saying we couldn’t get a lane until 21:30 regardless. They clearly just want people to buy drink and food while they wait. AWFUL business and ignorant staff. We will never go again.

Nice place to hang out and bowl with friends. They have 48 lanes so you'll mostly get a place unless they have a tournament going on or its the weekend. We went on friday night at 10.15 and they just had 3 lanes empty. Lucky us. Price for 1 game including shoes is $14, 2 games is $22 and 3 games is $30. Cheers!

Love Revs to just unwind. It can get busy especially on the weekends, going early and getting something to eat at the bar is the best. They actually have great food. Britney, the worst Customer Service Rep EVER!!!! I ordered a Double-Double Burger with ** NO CHEESE**. I repeated twice, and she confirmed my order without the cheese. Then, I got a burger, FULL CHEESE. Kindly, I spoke to Nicole (Customer Service Rep), to let her know what happened, she was super nice and offered to change the burger. Two minutes later, she said I had to talk to the cashier (Britney) to let her know about it. I understood, I did not mind to talk to Britney, and from zero, Britney started yelling at me, saying that I had to pay again for a new burger because it was what It was. She did not recognize her mistake, she was super rude, raising her voice against me, moving her hands up and down. I felt very intimidated because of her attitude. I kept my position asking for my new burger. In the end, she went inside the kitchen and a few seconds later started yelling at me from far that It was my "lucky day" because she was in the "mood' to give me a new burger. IN FRONT OF ALL CUSTOMERS!!! Honestly, I did get my burger, no cheese. But I didn't eat it, knowing she might spite my burger or something. People like Britney, should not be working in Customer Service. Such a horrible service. Never coming back. This happened on Sunday, August 11th 2019 at 3:55pm.

Don't trust the girl working the front counter. She tried to sell us a package that was $20 overpriced. When we found out we asked for a refund. Some of the lanes also have technical issues where the pins kept getting knocked over by the pinsetter. Went there again to see if there were any improvements. Nope, same crappy malfunctioning lanes. But even worse is the customer service. The lady working the front counter really doesn't give a flying f about customers. I wish there were more bowling places nearby to compete with Revs.

Not many other options but I had my birthday there. They failed to let me put my name on a waiting list cause it was all booked for an event. So I said my party of 10 will wait and have a drink until a lane opens up. Go back to the desk 1 1/2 hrs to find out they started a waiting list an hour ago. So I had to put my name on at the end of the list. So we decided to eat and have drinks as it was already 930 at night. After an 1 hour and 15 minutes did we get a lane. After that it was a great experience haha it's hard to mess up bowling. I love bowling and I had an "ok" experience my last birthday there but this time might have been the last straw. They didn't even say sorry when I explained what just happened and how they wronged me. Just said do I want a lane??......haha like f*ck me right?!

Wanted to do the family bowl on a Saturday, spent all day calling with no answrs so we just went down there at 330pm and they didn't have anything free till 8pm. When i asked them why they haven't been answering the phone the response i got was "it's only us working" there customer service is a joke!!

Came to REVS with my brother and a friend to play pool late night. The tables are a bit old and a lot of the pockets have holes in them. This place is somewhere you go to for bowling and drinking beers with friends so don't judge them for the quality of pool equipment! Will be back another time with a group of friends if I have an urge to bowl =)

Bowling itself was alright, but the place seems very run down and in disrepair. 2 out of 4 stalls in the bathroom were out of order. There are better places to bowl.. pretty much anywhere but here. Do not recommend.

REVS is an old bowling alley that has remained unchanged for decades, except for the arcade area. The decor and equipment are old-fashioned, but some may find that charming. The food, I would advise against as it's mostly bland or overly salty foods you eat with your hands. Bring hand sanitizer. If you're there to just bowl, REVS will do. Make sure to call ahead for lane availability if you're planning on coming after 5pm.

They were extremely rude when the party arrived and completely ruined my mood. We ended up staying longer after arguing with the front counter. We were put on lane 48 which is the last one next to a large group of people, when we asked to get moved they said all other lanes were reserved, there were about 10 lanes that didnt get used that nite. we ordered a smoked meat sandwich for 13 dollars but it wasnt smoked meat, it was some cold cuts. for 13 bucks i expect smoked meat when it says smoked meat. bowling balls are disgustingly greasy, but the bowling is cheap i guess. dont think ill be back.

Absolutely terrible service and they know they can get away with it because they're the only bowling alley in the area. Staff is unfriendly and indifferent. Whoever answering the phones should be fired because my interaction with her was not someone that should be anywhere near another phone or deal with a customer. Rude, unprofessional, overall unhelpful. We've attended this alley 3 times (I know, same on me for not learning) and each time they have a sign saying "No lanes available until after 9:30pm." First time, we were there on a 6:00pm Sunday and saw plenty of available lanes but apparently they're all reserved for an event. We're not allowed to book a lane the same day and was told to come back at 9:30pm and it is on a first come first serve basis. We went for dinner and came back at 9:00pm, the place has emptied out even more than earlier. So we went up to ask for a lane. This time they said they're outnof lanes until 11:30! Third and final time we finally had enough and swear to never attend this place again. We arrived at around 6:00pm again this time on Tuesday night. They have a special discount during 5-9pm on certain weekdays. Again, that sign saying no available lanes until after 9:30pm was front and center while the staff sat around chit chatting and doing nothing. They had not more than a a handful of their lanes occupied and said everything else was reserved for some league event. We asked if it was a one off, but it turns out they have it every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 5-9pm. Why even advertise discounted bowling hours if you're not even opened to the public? The facility itself is dirty and damage is evident. Lanes are worn down and bowling balls were scarred and scratched up. This combined with staff that doesn't seem to want to fill the place up. Can't wait for this place to get torn down and replaced with condos.

The bowling balls are in brutal shape but honestly who cares. This is a fun time with the family and friends. Kid friendly, they can activate bumpers and have these metal contraptions that allow really young kids to just push the ball down a bowling ball slide. Beer options are ok and food is ok. Lots of lanes. This place is not for the pro bowlers. The lanes and equipment are in poor condition. Several times we had pins fall over when they were put back down after the first ball was rolled. The music was ridiculous as well. Place is a wacky place to bowl but that makes it kinda fun.

Went here for a get together with some colleagues. We went on laser bowling night and the music they were playing was awesome. Hip-hop, rap and RnB from the 90s and 2000s you can't really go wrong. The lanes were covered by our boss but renting the shoes still added up to quite a bit, the food was decent but they put our food on the wrong table and somebody actually took a bite out of my friends order. The best service I got was at the bar so they got that covered well. Overall we had a really good time and I plan on going again.

Great place for bowling

The staff is not coordinated. One of them tells you one thing and the other one tells you the opposit. We went in a group of 8 and 4 of us were on lane 7 and the rest in lane 43. The communication was very difficult due to the lack of organization among the staff. I don't recommend this place at all. Avoid a headache and go to another place.

It can be pretty busy on some nights where you have to wait an hour to get a lane but, there's pool tables you can use if it's free at the moment. Overall pretty good place.

Always go there, my last experience was bad. The lane shutdown 3 times the staff was not helpful, not listening and yelling at me an my friends. Paid for 2 games and played like 1 and a half. Left without finishing the games was there for almost more than an hour and no refund. Horrible experience...Fix your lanes and staff needs to learn how to talk to people. Rush hours hire more people

Birthday party at Revs Burnaby for kids is great. Best to confirm number of bowlers via voice instead of email to ensure you get enough lanes. Let your server from bar area know how many orders of chicken tenders vs. pizza ahead of time and when you want them to bring it out. They have all the plates, forks and knife for cake if you need it.

Went at Revs tonight to have some fun with family. Showed them an international ID with vaccination proof of my dad which we usually use in other places and they do accept it. But then the staff at Revs asked for a passport, I explained that we have a digital copy of it so atleast they can check the ID and passport has the same name on it. Unfortunately, Staff are very rude and said they are not accepting any digital copy. Had to return home as they refuse to let us in.

This is a very good bowling ally, prices are good for groups and on weekends they have a pizza or chicken deal with your game. Their bar has good drinks too ! Perfect place to bring your friends or partner for a great night, music isnt bad either

I don’t know if it is racism or something else. I went there 3 times and they always said we don’t have any lane free for at least two hours. But I saw free lanes every time

I've been coming here off and on over the last 10 years. It's always a fun place to come with a group of friends however the customer service can be lacking due to how busy the staff are. It's a great place to have food and you can also play pool and other games in addition to bowling. I have yet to find another bowling alley that Rivals revs

It was my first time at this place. Thought of enjoying Sunday night with friends.But, the guy at the front desk(Vincet I guess) was really rude. He ruined the whole night for me. He seemed uninterested in serving the customers. He didn’t even let us in even when he was at fault.

Usually quite crowded, the bowling part is fine, machines don't break as often as other places and there is ok space between lanes. Giving three stars for 2 reasons - 1. Why is all the food finger food at a bowling alley?? 2. Somehow the washrooms are always a disaster every time I've been there. People stay for hours guys, a lot of ppl, clean them washrooms and top up tp/soap more often pls! (Especially when everyone is touching the bowling balls and finger food right after...)

Been my bowling spot since I was a kid. It can sometimes be dirty, service can be slow at time and sometimes you can't bowl because all the lanes have been reserved which is a bummer when you travelled just to bowl a few games. Overall, I still like coming here when I can play and sometimes have a few beers. I recommend bottled as the pint can often be a bit watery.

Definitely have hearing damage from the speakers, which are positioned directly over the bowling lanes. Trying to bowl was more of a battle against the painfully loud mumble rap. I would say the volume at the beginning of the lane compares to being in the front row of a heavy metal concert, no joke. Asked multiple staff to lower volume to normal levels, was told sure but no difference. It's apparently because people like the 'club' atmosphere- you know, where you have to yell at the person beside you if you want to hear each other. Probably would have gotten four stars because it was nice to be able to have a beer in the actual bowling area, the lighting was great, service was quite good and they were very forgiving about broken glass and cleaned up promptly.

Guy woking on front is really rude. I visited this place multiple times and always got that arrogant and rude service. They dont offer u mask if u dont have one. Screens doesnt work properly. Malfunctions in system and u have to ask once in every 15 minutes to reset that bowl thing. Not a good idea to visit

This place is so dirty. The women’s bathrooms were disgusting. They had decent drink prices and the bowling was cheap. Our lane wouldn’t let us set up a game so we were told we would have to wait for a technician to come in, but they didn’t know how long it would take. It appeared they need more staff, there was no direction as to where to leave our shoes as we left.

My first bowling experience was here. Very spacious and friendly staff. It's cost us 10.25 per person. We had 8 and we took 2 lanes. Food was good as well.

They've actually got some really decent food here and the nachos were really good. They can be super packed on some evenings, especially when there is a promotion or a deal going on. Great fun though for friends and family. The lot is paid parking but you can always park on the street behind for free parking.

I went to REVS Burnaby along with my friends on Friday last week. We got there at around 6:30 pm and we were told all the lanes were reserved until 10:30. We asked if we could have lane for after then. One of the staff members who was extremely rude gave me pager and said I had to wait inside the building until 10:30. I ended up going to Coquitlam that night. Based on the was I was treated, I’d never go back there again ever. I’d never recommend anyone else to do that too.

Hours of operation state that they close at 1am. Arrived at 11pm and was told that last call was already announced. So they were not taking any food or drink orders... disappointed because I used to always go here to bowl and have afew drinks. Not making that mistake again

Everything's a bit dilapidated at REVS — think beer stains on the pool tables and bowling scoring software from 1993. It's also hard to just turn up and play a game, you really need to book ahead. Having said all that, they're also one of the very few bowling locations around, so maybe that's why they can get away with it.

Good price for the weekdays $3/game but little overpriced in the weekend evenings. ( 1 game for $7.50 +$5 shoes) but if you plan to go as a group make sure you find a good discount coupons to save money, easy to get it online.

Lanes breakdown a lot during league. It can get hot as the AC doesn't seem to be running properly. Food and service is pretty good.

This place is the closest thing I have seen to a dump yard being portrayed as a bowling alley First of all, this location doesn't even use wood floors. It's some generic composite material that shouldn't be even used for bowling. There is no slick whatsoever, and where there is oil it is extremely inconsistent. If you are a person that spins your ball, there is no consistency on the floor at all. The ball will hook extreme and sharp at different points in the lane. This place should be closed down for pretending to be a bowling alley.

The place was packed. There was a halloween fundraiser hosted here and it was definitely a blast. Great music the food was tasty but definitely a recipe for high blood pressure. Staff was friendly and well informed, the lanes were well maintained and the place had a great smell even with the amount of persons inside. If you are looking for a great place for bowling in the burnaby are this is it !

It's an okay place. The alleys are a bit buggy, and the music a bit loud and very repetitive, but well, it's still a lot of fun to play bowling! The location is perfect, as it's literally right by the skytrain station, and the place is huge, very good to plan group events like charities or birthdays. The waiters were very nice, and the manager friendly, but not very helpful: We organized a 50/50 for my charity, went to every lane to ask for their participation. Once the draw done, I asked the manager if he could print the winning ticket number on the screens so the winner would easily know he won. He declined and just made one single announcement on the mic... That nobody heard because of the very loud music. Other than that, we still had a lot of fun.

The lane kept malfunctioning, lane next to us randomly stopped completely. Also expensive for what it is. Place needs renovating. Shows need replacing. Also strict about wearing wrist bands in the bar area - understand this is part of "Serve it Right" but seems extreme.

Fun place for bowling with 30+ lanes. Surprising great music videos played throughout (hip hop, RnB, Top 10 type music videos). The line up at the front can be a bit unorganized though, so just plow your way to the front attendant to pay for your lanes/shoes. Check the daily deals on their site if your looking for a better deal.

Garbage!! Terrible customer service. Front desk receptio never answers the phone. They don't even do reservations unless you have a minimum of 10 people! What the hell kind of policy is that??!?!? I will never ever come here. I did a walk in at 9:00 and there was a sign saying avaiability at 10:30pm.. No thanks.. Terrible.

Good price.Not well maintained. Lane is a bit worn out and some lanes have problems with it's computer. The house balls are mostly chipped. OK place to bowl and have fun. Better if you have your own bowling ball.

My experience was great! I have gone many times with my family for get togethers and it is very fun. Although sometimes the bowling system just crashes. Sometimes the pins dont get reset or the score gets messed up and that is the only thing I dislike about revs. As well it is slightly dirty and unclean.

We had a lot of fun bowling there are almost 50 lanes, 48 to be exact. It wasn't too crowded at 1 pm Sunday but it got busier around 3. Also, you can find a few vending machines if you are craving sweets, also an arcade, darts games, flipper machine. You can order juice and some snacks at the bar and they will bring it to your table/lane. Also, you can have kids birthdays too. Kids just love it

Weekdays after 9. $5 for first game $2 for shoes $1 for each additional game. Great deal for bowling. Atmosphere and their music playlist is pretty dope as well

Great pizza and great service and staff. The bowling experience is very nice but with an older system. The food was a little expensive and the music during night bowling is way to loud. I asked the staff if they could turn it down to save everyone's hearing but they said they couldn't. Even though the music control unit was visibly behind them at the front desk. This doesn't really matter but out of anything please turn down the volume for the music.

Waited two hours for a lane only to find out they forgot to page us with numerous lanes open and vacant. When we asked for our ID back they couldn’t find it either and staff members were less than sympathetic or apologetic about wasting our time. Very poor customer service and will not be back.

They set us up on three lanes because we were a big party. That would have been fine if someone had bothered to check if those three lanes were ready for us. There was food, drinks, and napkins all over the place and when someone finally came over to clean up they didn't clean the third table.
