Staff were unnecessarily passive aggressive. Instead of finishing a game of regular pool we decided to leave the last two balls to practice bank shots. Staff walked by and dumped one of our balls in the pocket then later walked by and told us that she thinks our game is over now. It doesn't say anywhere that you are allowed to play pool only a certain way. There wasn't anyone waiting to play after us so never thought it would be such a big deal.

My boyfriend and I recently went here, and were treated very unnecessarily rudely by an older man working at the time. It had been a little while since I had last bowled and wanted to have a fun time without getting a ton of gutter balls, that is when I went up to the front desk and asked the man if he would please raise the gutter guards up if they were not already, he then just stared at me for a weird amount of time, and finally rolled his eyes, scoffed at me and said "Wow...umm...those are really just meant for toddlers you know, are you guys children?" I then asked again, because if I am paying for a service, I should be able to ask for something that service provides, he then turned away from me and did a heavy sigh while replying disapprovingly "mhmm...I guess so". I was completely baffled by his tone and how he had talked down to me, as he seemingly had no problems servicing some more experienced older women who were playing. I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day, but it was public bowling times so I believe we should have been treated with the same respect as the others there. It's unfortunate as we both had a really good time during the actual bowling, but the way I was spoken to makes me not want to come back again, and I will be sure to let others who ask, know of my experience there as well.

This is one of the last standing 5 pin bowling spots! The shoes are in good shape. The lanes come with or without gutter bumpers for the kids. The staff is friendly (although a little shy). . Call ahead to make sure it's not busy. There are teams that frequent this spot. . Grab a bite at the coffee shop across the street before you go though... Their food is the only thing that's meh... But I kind of expect that from a family focused bowling alley without a bar! The kids always have fun here!

What an awesome little joint!!! Came here with a group of 7 and played some great 5-pin games. It's rare that you see 5-pin lanes anymore and how awesome that Sidney is home to one. After 3pm it's usually glow-in-the-dark bowling (great for the kids or not so kids-kids). Can't wait to go back.

This is a very long overdue review. Sometime around Easter on a stat holiday I took my 5 neices and nephews here with no reservation. They were fully booked but they worked so hard to fit us in. There were two ladies working. They said they would maneuver things but we would wait 30 min . This was great. I was so worried they would not be able to and didn’t want to face the kids disappointment. I am forever grateful sorry about how long it took for my review. They suggested to book ahead with a credit card. Let’s keep the small town businesses alive. I would go here any day over the one in Langford. Small business equals better service and more personable. They went out of their way. Thanks ladies.
