McCurdy bowling is packed on Friday nights. There's mostly young adults, a few groups of high schoolers, everyone having a great time with loud music and the laser lights. Super fun.

We had lots of fun here. I even forgot to take picture for review. Five of us went to McCurdy on a Wed night, and each of us only paid $16 each to play as much as we want to. As expected, our arms and fingers were sore afterward. The food menu is decent. Service is quick and efficient. We would totally come back here next time!

Awesome bowling, no complaints on the Bowling, and the device the Bowling side offers... However the food isn't the best, it's like they cheap out on everything but charge prices that deserve better. For example, the Nachos they make it look big, but it's a false bottom on the tray they bring you, so you think it's bigger than it is and they only top the nachos with a skimpy layer of the fake cheese sauce, like the jalepeneo cheese sauce or Kraft dinner type of cheese runny sauce, but not much at all, 75% of the nacho chips were just plain nothing on it, not even salt, and definitely no real cheese, just plastic melted American/Kraft cheese, in fact any menu item doesn't have real cheese, just fake plastic cheese but they charge prices as if they put real cheese on it... even the pizza, paper thin hardly any topping and fake cheese, imagine buying a pizza with kraft slices on it, because that's basically what it's like. If they charged Junior High/Middle school cafeteria prices than I wouldn't complain, but that's the food you will get here, all at prices that that are similar to Earls, The Keg, Moxie's, etc. And I hate chain restaurants, but at least they serve real food for the prices they charge

We showed up in a group all in one van and they forced us to split and bowl at separate end of the alley.... which was insane and ruined it for us. Don’t bother ordering anything from the bar as they charged a fortune for tiny amounts of liquor $40 for what is 4oz but was only 2oz (we measured) will not come back here will bowl elsewhere in Kelowna. Terrible

THE WORST SERVICE EVER— me and my friends went specially for our birthday party that we planned few months ago… we forgot our ids and specially went far away to bring ids… when we came back,, she said we can’t get in because there are reservations for this… when we came first nobody told us to make reservations as i am not familiar to this place….. really really disappointing !! Lots of bowling fun ???? clean and helpful with tons of available lanes. Make sure you book ahead to ensure that there's enough space and keep a look out for deals sometimes the lane for an hour is better than just paying for games. Hit the service button on your lane and enjoy some delicious food from Freddy's brew pub delivered right to your table.

They let people eat in the bowling area. You wipe the fry oil off your ball and it comes back each time with a new grease swirl on it. Asked for a wet wipe and was told everyone uses wet paper towel from the bathroom. Never again.

Lanes were well kept and the place was clean. However, I came in on a night there were three rather large parties booked. All three were booked in the middle lanes right in front of the counter creating quite a clutter. You could tell they were short staffed that night. The people behind the desk were friendly, but the server was having a very rough night was handling it very unprofessional. She had a hostile attitude, and openly cussed at customers. I understand that being short staffed, especially in a venue as large as this, can create a stressful environment for staff, but there is NO excuse to swear at your customers because you can't handle the work load.

My family came here to BC after not seeing them for a free year s. We all followed the rules cause our Asian host was so nice as soon as we walked in .after my turn / bowl I stepped off the lane and bargain tiring my show and a lady having the worse misuser bull life . Seems to me . She said “ IF TOUR NOT BOWLING U HAVE TO SIT IN YOUR TABLE . , that what I paid $70 for 4 of us to bowl now no freedom anywhere . So what we have no dancing now no hugging no human contact . This is out of hand and I will boycott as much as possible . The Asian from beginning came back and apologized for her and he didn’t have to and he sai I know this is now fun. But I listen to him cause his attitude was on point .like being at school again I wonder if we had to put our hand to us the wash room

Staff was friendly and helpful - especially the young blonde woman at the counter - very friendly and energetic, greeting us with enthusiasm despite us coming in close to closing time. Ordered some snacks that were delicious. Will definitely return in the future whenever I feel like bowling!

Came here last week and not coming back ever again and not recommending this place to anybody I'm going to go somewhere else now. it's not my fault that my father-in-law has a health condition that requires him not to drink tap water and you guys refused him because he was drinking bottled water that was bought from a store and it was not mixed with alcohol and you guys assume that it was and these guys gave attitude because he was drinking water we are definitely not coming back and we are not recommending this place to friends are family and or anybody else that has health conditions if you want to be treated like an a****** go here and you'll be treated like one cuz they don't know how to treat their customers. That have health conditions. :(

The bowling lanes are well kept. Lots of fun when its cosmic bowling. The food was okay but the service was slow. I asked the waitress for a refill of the water jug. Im 7 and a half months pregnant and she said theirs water over by the counter. Was a little shocked since she was serving my friends.

Their lanes are either crooked or lack oil, which she explained they only oil once a week. Not a great place to take a 4 and 6 year old, because even with the bumpers up, and using the assist bar, neither kid could get a spare, let alone a strike. It was frustrating for them no matter how they moved the bar, the ball literally only went to the left, even if it was completely aimed at the right. And $30 for the kids to bowl two games is overpriced in my opinion. The food they bring in from Freddie's is mediocre. They staff is just - it is what it is - attitude. I made a comment to a staff member and was basically told "oh well." The experience while here is only ever "okay" at best. Not bad enough to never come again, not good enough to visit more than a couple times a year.

It was a good place for fun. Family friendly, both 10 and 5 pin lanes. Price is reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can bowl, eat and drink all right at your lane with waitresses that come by to get all you need. Will be back again, and I recommend visiting.

Simply put I was asked to leave and would not allow me to book because I had brought in a coffee. I explained that I’m lactose intolerant and can’t have cafinated coffee, neither of which they offer. I had my two kids waiting and they asked me to throw out the drink or leave and then come back and they would allow me to book a lane. I said I would go outside and finish it just let me book the lane. They said no it’s the policy of the ownership. I understand the need to make money but I was planning on buying my kids drinks and food there. It not like I was bringing in a bag of food or boxes of pizza. Some consideration should be presented in situations where an over arching rule is not the right answer.

We came here planning on having a fun night bowling, its a very different setting now and most staff seem to have adapted well. We did have one member of staff who appeared to not be very happy, we asked for help and was told sharply that they was helping someone else and then would come to help and they never did they walked back right past us looked away and went back to the desk cleaning shoes. Eventually I went and asked another member of staff and the original staff member came and walked past and just said "sorry about that" with attitude. They then went to the lane, reset our game and walked off. It left us feeling frustrated so we finished the game and left the building. When leaving the building a staff member outside wished us a great night, like I say most people have adapted well and are/were super friendly but the odd one definitely made an impact for us, sadly!

This was the nicest, newest bowling alley I have been to! And I have been to a few in BC and a few in Asia. The balls here were flawless and the alley was perfect too. The staff were great, so was the food considering its a bowling alley and service was on point. Great place to hang out with friends while getting some drinks and snacks.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience this evening at McCurdy Bowl! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They were so good with our young kids and got balls and a slide especially for them (all set up before we even tied our shoes)! The food was fabulous (highly recommend the Chicken Sandwich), and the service was quick. We’ll be back for sure.

It's the nicest bowling alley in Kelowna, and it's also the only nice one... People drive all the way to the North end of town for it. The staff are are professional, friendly and timely with drink/snack service. Don't prepare to be amazed by the food menu, but it works for snacks to go with drinking. They have both 10-pin and 5-pin. Give it a try!

nice place to play bowling with family and friends. Nice food they serve there, did have their beer but they say they brew it there, so must be good. wheelchair accessible. I don't know from what time but during the weekend until 5:50pm they have some kind of disco them and have the nights off and laser light on and some music video on. didn't like it too much since you can't see a thing. there are two games machine there. one took our money and didn't do anything so we requested a refund and got our money back. then we tried the other machine with the lady that serves at the restaurant there again the machine also didn't do anything but they refused to refund back the money and gave us the look that it was our own fault. So didn't wanted to fight and left, don't play the game there!! but other then that the bowl floor itself is not too bad.
