This wonderful classic bowling alley is nestled beneath a whole foods. You really feel like you’re going somewhere you’re not supposed to go when you enter. And I love that. Radi, was great, and the overall vibe was very chill and just classic feeling. I definitely recommend finding this little gem. WE NEED BOWLING ON THE NORTH SHORE!

As others have mentioned, high hopes but a little disappointing. Our lane (#1) had many technical issues during our one hour of bowling, we barely made it through one game. The food was mediocre but the beer was great! Everything seemed to be over priced for the quality/experience. I’d love for this place to be awesome, would be great for the Shore. We’ll go back and play pool, but will skip the bowling and food.

I normally don't leave reviews but manager is unprofessional and extremely rude. Talked to her about a mistake a Employee made and she threw her employee under the bus blameing her for everything and refused to do anything to compensate us for the mistake. Not only is this unprofessional but show the mangers bad character in not respecting her employees. I would not recommend this place for bowling, pool or drinks, unless you want a rude experience. also the bowling kept glitches and not working.

Fun place to go bowling. The place is small but very clean and modern. Booked a lane online and everything went smoothly. Friendly & helpful service. Keep in mind the bowling pin are on strings (pinsetters). The pin dropped to the ground but one of them slowly came back up because of the string attached. This happened couple times but not a big deal if you aren’t a serious player. I still had fun & hope to come back.

One of my favorite places to go play pool or go bowling. The atmosphere is great, the location is clean, and the pool tables are crisp with a beautiful tan velvet. Service is always prompt and professional. If you go here with friends I highly recommend grabbing a pitcher of the lime läger and have a good time!

I liked the environment. Everything was brand new. The owner or manager (not sure) was a nice guy. He was trying help us learn how to pose while we are playing bowling. They have a %50 off on weekdays 11am to 3 pm. There is also a $4 fees for a pair of bowling shoes. We enjoyed our time (my husband’s birthday) and we’ll go again.

Highly over priced for what you get. In general I liked the atmosphere and decoration and it was clean. Bowling was not good and equipment was not working fine. Not enough balls, and pins were not working well. The price for each lane is $50, but you get second lane half price. You also have to pay for mandatory shoes plus tax. Cashier also gave herself a tip without confirming with me which I understood until after I saw the receipt.

A zero star review - The worst bowling experience in Vancouver. We had 2 lanes reserved (for walk-in) for Saturday evening. We were advised that the lanes would be available at 8pm. After reaching shortly before 8pm, they said it would take a little more time for them to set them up, hence decided to play overpriced pool. At 8:30 they asked us to wait till 9pm for the lanes to be available. We finally got ONE lane at 9:45pm, and little did I know - we were given the broken lane. They wasted our time until 10:30pm before they finally admitted that "lane 6 was acting up since before you guys showed up". This is an ugly and ridiculous place to bowl. They have an extremely arrogant 3-4 member staff who do not know how to run a bowling alley and would take the opportunity to possibly charge you for breathing on their premises. We were a group of 8 people and they managed to ruin the evening for each one of us. The management needs to change. FYI - they just have 6, 10pin lanes. It's a TINY place!

Amazing place. Front desk service and staff was very pleasant to deal with. North Vancouver needed a blowing alley. I cannot wait to see where these guys go from here but it was a great first time experience. Pool and dart stations were well-maintained. Recommend.

I love the led lighting that crates a futuristic atmosphere that matches wth their electronic hip hop & rap vibes. Their customers are mostly young people from 10-40 years old. They support mostly all North Vancouver Breweries for their beer menu, the cocktails are on point, staff is amazing and friendly, food options are delicious, overall a fun experience always!

I've gone to King Pin a couple times now, and I'm so happy that something like this has opened up in North Van! Bowling & pool is pretty cheap, it's in a super convenient location, and is overall a great spot. Love that there's food and drinks available, and it's open late which is a rarity in North Van. Will definitely be coming by often with friends, as its become our go-to late night spot on the days we want to stay in the area instead of heading out to downtown.

This place is a mess. front desk staff were confused about our reservation. took forever to get a lane even though we booked one and there were lanes free when we arrived. turns keep skipping. server slow and didn't know basic well drinks (rye and coke). overall, disappointing experience for $50/hour.

First visit for us - Amazing experience during this Covid-19 Pandemic. I was really impressed by the customer service and the atmosphere. The bowling alley is family friendly and a great place to have a night out. Staff made a great effort to make sure we had a good time. The food was AMAZING and definitely going back !! We enjoyed the bowling, but the service was really slow & the food was absolutely terrible. The Pizza, taco’s & chicken wraps were just disgusting. (sorry) Would come back again to bowl, but not to eat! If they got the food quality sorted, this place would be awesome!

Scoring was all off, multiple times our second go would disappear and move onto the next player. The alley was super busy and they only had 2 people working - we ordered drinks and food but we didn’t end up getting our order because they got so busy and didn't even ring it in. Disappointed in the overall management, felt sorry for the one server who was actually trying her best to help everyone.

3 star for now cause i haven't been here this looks great. i never know there was a built place like this in n.v very close to me. i always go to pool in downtown and its hard for transportation. since this is new i just saw it besides the bus stop and still its lacking info unless you call or walk in. and its pandemic right now so i know there will be rules of their own. i got this pic which makes me excited but not enough info

First time we went we had made a reservation but when we got there in time we were told we had to wait an hour - so what’s the point of the reservation then? Second time I booked online I had to cancel with 2 days notice - received a confirmation email that I was refunded to my credit card - refund never appeared and now my credit card company is disputing this , it had been since the middle of March and still no refund - make sure if you have to cancel a reso you follow up to see that you have been refunded !

I would not even give 1 star but have to. Very disappointed with this company. Christmas party booked on November 11th received a call today to cancel as they had someone come in after me and book the whole place. We had only booked 2 lanes for 1.5hrs. Completely unacceptable

The pizza was ... on a Tortilla? And soggy and fell apart in seconds. Gross. Pic below... The owners daughter or? Looks like a lot of people have a problem with her in reviews... was the rudest most stuck up hating their life people I have ever met ... it was hard to be angry at her when it was just sad ... she seemed to be in charge ... needs some empathy training and kindness... and a lot less attitude. Horrible. It offers birthday parties ... but she treated the kids less than human... rude ... horrible. I hope this place can turn it around ... train the staff... maybe offer real food... very disappointed.

Fantastic location in the heart of North Van! Upon entry, you’re greeted by a great vibe, tasty drink choices and delicious food! The staff and management are super friendly and work hard to keep the good times going! Would recommend to anyone thinking about bowling, pool or just a chill spot to hang out!

Went here for a birthday, was greeted by unfriendly and staff who didn't even know their own policies. Eventually we had to involve a manager who corrected his snappy employee. We arrived at 9:45pm as our reservation was for 10pm. We were told we'd have to wait until 10:30 until a lane would become available, no biggie we'll just play pool until a lanes available. Nope that's $25 for an hour. Come on, you've already sucked nearly $80 dollars out of us with a $50 lane and $5 for EACH pair of bowling shoes. We sat for 30 minutes while comforting our sad birthday friend who felt like they had let everyone down. Will not be coming here again.

We were there for an hour playing snooker. The Baize quality on the snooker table was good. Maybe they can improve the same for their eight ball tables. I wish they had more snooker tables though; sadly it's just one snooker table so I guess you have to book the table in advance to be sure there is no waiting. The reception lady was lovely. She patiently adjusted over-head lamps brightness for us to have a perfect experience. I'll probably be back here sometime soon

Simply put, this place is a mess. We had to wait about 30 minutes past our scheduled lane time, and further our lane kept freezing and skipping turns for players. There’s the elements for a fun place here, but it’s really not worth it at the moment.

Really fun for casual bowling and pool games. The interior is very expensive looking and the beer is very high quality. The food is perfect for intermission snacks and good for kids. The music is fun and the staff are very friendly and grateful. Since it’s a new business I think they’re doing a great job in figuring things out!

So happy to have a new place to bowl on the North Shore. It's popular, so make sure you reserve a bowling lane. Food is great and they have lots of locally brewed beer available. A great addition to Lonsdale!

Nice place but the set up is awful. The system keeps getting stuck and you waste more time trying to get the attendants to fix it. Feel sorry for the attendants. Also, there's a shortage of balls and people from other lanes just come over and pinch yours when you're distracted.

We really needed a place like this in North Vancouver. Was really excited to go check it out but was a bit disappointed by the experience. Place is brand new and super clean but staff and management are not very attentive. We booked 2 lanes and in one lane we had technical difficulty with pins 3 times in one hour and she had to somehow fix it from her end. They were getting scrambled together and not going up. Not sure they didn't know how to run it or maybe they didn't buy high quality stuff. It could be an amazing location but they really need to have better customer service. They could've made much more money from us by just asking which they didn't.

Machines are glitchy all the pins are on strings and constantly tangle or just glitch out and don’t reset. Had to change lanes several times and barely spent any of our hour we paid for actually bowling. Don’t bother actually trying to bowl here except maybe a kids party where they don’t care

Great concept. Very poor execution. I went there for a friends bday and one thing kept happening after another from the start. First, our two bowling lanes that we had booked was 20 mins behind schedule. That's fine. No big deal. But after we actually settled in things started to go south - one of the lanes in our booth didn't work so our group had to be separated into another booth (this is 15 mins into our one hour booking). Not great for a bday event where you want to be in the same space. The screens didn't show the full names, just the first letter (bowling nicknames are half the fun!). I swear half the time was spent just talking it through with the servers and manager. They kept moving our groups back and forth between lanes because there was a lack of communication between them on what lane was not working. We were offered Lane 1 in exchange (since one of our original lanes - lane 4 was malfunctioning), but lane 1 scorekeeping tv system wasn't working so were told we'd have to keep score manually. Also lane 6 was also broken so couldn't move there. Finally, the manager put the whole group onto one lane and gave us a bit of extra time (which they changed from 40 mins extra to 15 mins) - however half the group was already on round 9 and the other half had just joined. I don't even think anyone in our group even got a full game in. Giving two stars instead of one since after much discussion with the staff, they gave us an 75% refund. Alcohol & Food was overpriced. The staff were trying to be accommodating, even if there was a lot of confusion so I don't want them to take the blame. This is more for whoever owns the place clearly didn't invest in proper equipment and poorly planned out how to manage a bowling alley. 3 out of the 6 lanes had some kind of malfunction. For $50 lane/hr , you'd expect a lot better. Pretty disappointing experience.

Booked a lane for Saturday morning at 11am. Prepaid deposit. When we arrived they weren’t open. There was also a birthday party that had reserved lanes waiting. There were 8 kids around 6-9. We waited in the lobby, as well as the other party of people. 2 staff people were also waiting, telling us 5 minutes, 5 minutes. When we got in, there was empty liquor bottles and beer cans from the night prior in our lane. We waited another 10 minutes for screens and bowling lanes to load. Parking had 15 minutes left by the time we were starting. We were offered 5 additional minutes of our fully paid hour that they are letting us play. Pretty disappointing. To say the least. In my opinion, it’s hung over people that can’t be bothered to wake up on time to unlock doors.

Overall, we had a decent experience and would come again. The food tasted good, but was nothing exceptional; pretty standard pub-style fare. Our server was friendly and our food was brought to our lane promptly. It was a little hard to identify the staff when we first arrived because they are dressed quite casually and don't wear anything to identify them as staff members, like a name tag or uniform. Only major complaint was that we visited in the afternoon on a Sunday when almost everyone who was bowling was a family with small children, yet the music and atmosphere felt more geared towards nightlife for a different crowd. While they bleeped out the most offensive of the words in some of the song lyrics, there were definitely some themes and phrases that made it through that were not appropriate given the number of children in the place. It did fill up quite quickly while we were there and the pool area was very busy the whole time as well, so I would recommend booking ahead.

When we actually bowled, we had a fantastic time at Kingpins. They were understaffed (as is the world right now). The girls working did a fantastic job keeping up! Unfortunately, the booking process was very hard and their website kept freezing. For this reason, I was double charged. I have contacted by email, facebook messenger and called several times (voice mail full) and I have received no response. I am frustrated, as I would like to go back.
