A birthday party disaster. They were grossly overbooked and took no time in dealing with my son or my birthday party. There was not honesty or communication with regard to the oven being broken, thus the pizza was very late and burnt. No one assumed any responsibility for the lack of service, organization or deliverance of promised goods.

Bar tender gave slow service but was very nice. The snack shop was nice and the pizza was surprisingly great for bowling alley food. We rented two lanes and had many issues such as balls stuck in gutters, mis matched pins not being put back up or pulled down, service was extremely slow to fix the said problems

This is a fun bowling alley. Always a good time. Large bar on the inside with giant connect four, foosball, pool, darts and decent prices on drinks. The lanes themselves are in good condition and the service is good. Be aware though, that the pool tables definitely need some upkeep. The felt is in bad shape, the foosball table doesn't work properly and the pool table I played on required me to use the pool que to slam the quarters slot into it to get the balls out. I give it 4 stars because of the size and variety of things to do, but they definitely need to invest some money into making repairs.

It's a nice place for families. Food is better than expected. The arcade is a little jenky but they're easy with the prizes. The place cud prolly use a facelift but it's a nice family atmosphere and for the most part is clean and neat.

Despite some problems (about 4 times we had to have the gamr reset because the pins got stuck) we had a blast. Later the lady helping my kids, she stated she hated this part of the job of when redeemed the tickets they earned playing videp games and kept telling them to hurry up. The only good part was she was so impatient she gave them a little more than they earned but the kids were perplexed by the balance of getting more but dealing with her poor attitude. Should have someone at that post with a sunnier disposition.

Everytime I come, it keeps getting worse and worse. This is probably the last time I come. I came with multi lanes open, but they put me next to a party with wild kids. When I asked to be moved, they told me they couldn't. When I started to bowl, the score monitor jumped around so much, you couldn't even see the score. When I complained about that, I pretty much got "not my problem" attitude. My recommendation is: do not come to this bowling lane, there are plenty of others only a few miles away.

This one is a "wowza" if you bowl. 46 lanes and umpteen leagues. Clean and quite an upgrade from most bowling alleys. Huge difference from Oak Tree Lanes in Diamond Bar.

Place has gone down hill since the last time we were here, 12 years ago; floors sticky, pin setter needed resetting a 1/3 of the time. Old duct tape covering speaker wires on floor. Awful graphics on score screens. Annoying ceiling fan over our lane creating unpleasant strobe effects from light fixture immediately above. It took us about 6 trips here (and bad gouges out of my ball) to come to our senses. Never coming back here. Oh, and I average at least 20 pins higher at Brunswick Zone in Upland (10 miles further)!

It was our first visit so we did not know what to expect????...we visited on a Saturday arriving around 9pm...the place was packed and I must say it was jumping! It offered a live DJ with loud "old school" music which I loved and enjoyed very much!???? But we skipped the bowling because the line was very very very long. It was probably at least a 20-30 min wait just to sign in and get a bowling lane. Needless to say we opted for a late dinner & ordered pizza which was DELICIOUS!???? But I forgot to take a photo BUMMER! (next time)

Nice bowling alley. Decent game room. Decor is somewhat dated, and many of the barstools are broken. It could use a renovation, but everyone has fun there. Food is pretty good and beer is served in frozen pint glasses. Restrooms are so-so (need renovation, like the rest of the place).

Our friend is a poor bowler and we decided to maybe try using the little guide thing they have for little kids. The worker lady rudely took it away from us. Also the lane closed out of nowhere, as we were bowling, so the ball hit it and the worker told the front desk. She then proceeded to turn off our lane, with 40 minutes left still to play. We then went to the front desk and asked the lady and told her it was a mistake and she still decided not to turn it back on with no refund.

Zero stars. Paid $40 bucks for just one inconvenience after another. First, my girlfriend needed socks so she bought a pair in the vending machine, only for them to get stuck! Then the lanes kept malfunctioning, no help from management. They also ended our last game early even though I paid per game not per hour and to end a perfect night they couldn't find my shoe I had left with them. Won't be back there ever again ????

I like this place. Do I love it. No. The foods a while to come out I'm talking 20 min plus for a hot dog. The $17 bowling for 2 hours is awesome with shoes. Arcade is decent. The staff up front working the shoes is nice. Oh and the fries were good. Kinda wish the music was on blast during bowling but watching baseball was fun as well. Angels pitch a no-hitter.

I visited here for the first time in about 20 years, and it hasn’t changed much. I love how it retains the old school feel and keeps the guests happy. It’s a very clean and inviting place and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to spend the evening knocking down some pins with family or friends. Still, after all these years, it’s a great place to hang out for all age groups!

I like bowling here but... the equipment is outdated. There are just too many breakdowns. I’ve had my ball damaged, and the approaches are often sticky. It’s difficult to bowl well under these conditions. In my opinion upgrades are needed badly. I was close to giving a lower grade.

Pizzas good, bowling lanes are clean and they have a decent amount of balls. Just beware that this place is expensive. Without drinks, just two people bowling you could expect to pay over a 100. Besides that it's great, just can't afford it, nor justify the price over other bowling allies. It does have the percent blend of retro bowling alley, without looking run down.

Lanes jam the balls often. Takes 3 minutes for the lane to sweep and go to pick up frame. If you have an issue there is no call button. You need to go to service desk and let them know. Time is money when you book a party so little things like this caused our kids party to be short of frames in finishing in the paid hour.

One of the most relaxing places I've been to. I really like the vibe. Their busy hours sometimes get hectic, but the seating situation has never been bad. Very spacious venue. I also like the cantina here. They have a pretty good selection. I can't quote the beers. I'm not sure if they've been cycled out of season. Good for drinking, but the vending machines are pricey.

Okay it's been years. They don't take care of the lanes! Constant lane issues, bowling balls getting scratched and gouged, and poor management. Today a ceiling tile fell on a bowler and no one that works there asked if they were okay. Do not use a new ball there!

These guys did a whole renovation during the covid shutdown. The place looks so much nicer and feels right. The dividers in between the lanes allow individual groups to comfortably play without masks. Well done.

The roof is leaking in multiple place which makes it very unsafe. Bowling and water/liquids dont mix. This place needs to do some renovations, instead they charge top dollar for everything and fix nothing. Which is the reason for the 1 star review. everything else is normal about this bowling alley, about 50 lanes, pro shop, small fast food items, a bar, pool tablea, arcade, lockers, etc.

I just found this place by driving by, my mother turned around and went in. This place felt nice and friendly. I don't know how the bowling is yet but I will check out how the bowling is.

The best bowling alley around, especially for all it does beyond bowling. The lanes are numerous and well maintained. The staff hard working and helpful. But after or instead of bowling you can enjoy much more. They have a nice arcade selection including some truly vintage pinball. The bar & resturant has free darts, giant Connect Four, and affordable pool and table shuffleboard. We will definitely drive past the 2 bowling alleys nearer us to go again.

Chaparral Lanes was the first place I ever went bowling. And because of it, I love bowling. The bowling itself is way cheaper compared to nearby places, and there is a wide array of bowling balls to choose from for all types of people. Even sometimes, the whole place is dark and it creates a cool atmosphere (that happened once though.) The arcade has plenty of prizes, and the Wheel of Fortune game is extremely easy to get 20 bazillion tickets out of. The food is decent but the bar can tend to get a bit rowdy.

I soooo wish I could give this place more stars because the guy at the front desk was so nice. Unfortunately, the place doesn't even deserve 3 stars. It's very very dirty. Though, they do have Covid protocols in place if you're worried about bowling next to another person/group. The balls are chipped and cracked way beyond repair. The lanes seem to be slanted at some points. The ramps for the kiddos are bent up and hardly work. The technology is very old but works fine. Though, every time someone would go to bowl the arm would knock over a pin. So, the place is fun but if you're a bowler that likes to try for score, this isn't the place for you. This place needs a huge overhaul! We paid $54 for 4 bowler/2 games. Very expensive for what you get here.

Me and my family been coming to this place for years and its just going downhill. The place is a mess and not mention the customer service. We had finished bowling and we were sitting there finishing our pitcher of beer and the girl who never smiles magarita took our pitcher and did not care to ask if we were finished. It was close to closing time so she made us feel real umcomfortable. Shes is never friendly. A new girl was there for a little while. My question where is she? Now shes a customer service person very helpful friendly and kind i believe her name frances. So Until this place gets a friendly atmosphere going. We as a family will spend our family nights elsewhere.

I went with my nephew who has autism, and they offer a discounted rate for special needs children, and I don't know who was working, but he was awesome. After we bowled, we went to the arcade, and we only had 19 tickets which was not that much. And the guy working was so kind, he gave us more candy than tickets we had. So nice of him. I will never go back. Employee's are rude. All the lanes stopped working. My group and everyone else kept being moved around. My kids got over 1,000 tokens and nobody wanted to help. My cousin had to say something and when the kids chose the gifts the guy gave them what he wanted. The cheese from the nachos tasted like feet. Don't waste your money!!!!!!

It has become an annual tradition for my family to meet at Chapparal Lanes every Christmas Eve to bowl a few games before our holiday dinner. In years past, I stay home to get the feast ready. This year I joined in the fun. It was wonderful! The owner greeted us like we were old friends. She was delightful. The bowling alley was spotless and the lighting was perfect. Pride in ownership sure showed. There was non stop Christmas music on. Lots of classics. We had the best time bowling. There were several families there. Everyone looked to be having as much fun as us. What a great festive occasion. A definite 5 STAR destination!

Please support this bowling alley!!!! I was on vacation for LA and bowling prices are pretty hefty. I started looking around and found this one. They had amazing specials for weekends! I went Saturday with 4 friends and they had a special for $16 each person for 2 HOURS!! Shoes included! I went there but i got there a little late where if I got the deal, I would play until closing which was an hour and a half. But they were so nice they charged me less since I wasn't able to complete the 2 hours. They are awesome and I requested a song to the DJ please tip him well.

I have not bowled in about 15 years, I came here for my birthday. We got 2 lanes. They both kept resetting and giving strikes when no one was bowling. Took forever to get assistance. We had a pin in the gutter and called for assistance and nobody came. After 15 minutes we hit the pin with the ball so we could get on with our game and still no one came. It continued and it took up our time that we paid for and my time was limited because of work. We paid full price for a service that we did not get. I recomend going somewhere else. ????

We had fun, and that’s what really counts. The place was very busy and we arrived as a League night was beginning so even though there was no line to wait in - service was slow as the employees worked out a number of kinks with getting teams computers up and running. Despite that, the employees remained friendly. The place is a little run down and the balls they supply have been used hard and have massive gouges as a result. The lanes seemed to be kept in good condition (although I am not a regular bowler so I don’t have much knowledge on lane quality). Warm food and a full bar are on site but we did not partake as food and drinks are not allowed at the area where you gather to bowl. An eating area sites about 15 feet back which seemed like an old-school design. You can either skip eating and bowl or sit back and eat while you hold up an unused lane that other people might want to use or try to do both as your food gets cold... if you don’t mind that you won’t be washing your hands after gripping the (well used) ball between bites. We visited the counter a number of times to get the lane set up to have gutter guards for one player only but it seems it was all players or none. The employees tried repeatedly to make adjustments through their computer to our players set-ups but it just didn’t work. To make the game fun for all we decided stick with guards for all. We would go back but do recommend that the owners put some money back into the place to clean it up and provide some modern bowling alley layout and amenities.

We went there around 10:00pm. It was packed but the manager put our names down and said it will be a 45 min wait. We waited over an hour and the manager had let two groups of 6 in front of us even though we were there first and she claimed that they were here first which was a lie! After confronting the manager, she said that she can get us a lane right away and we declined it because she should have done that along time ago. Never again going over there.

This place was a hot mess. Went last Sat evening to bar area. Full of people.. One poor girl working the bar. I know she was doing her best.. the pool tables are coin operated and missing balls, roof was leaking onto pool table. If manager is reading this... You are losing so much money by not managing this part of bowling alley. Oh well 6 potential customers won't be back.

Fun bowling alley! The employees are helpful and personable, food is good (slightly pricey, but what do you expect), and decent deals! Good deal of $13 per person for Unlimited Bowling for two hours (from Mon-Thurs). Good for large group events. Only problem with it is that it is an older bowling alley, so the equipment is pretty banged up. Kinda gives a nastolgia though!
