Great place for a family bowling fun. It’s not super clean but clean enough to spend a couple of hours there. Some balls had small chips. My kids loved the disco lighted lanes with some UV lights where their clothes was glowing in the dark. I have found it was harder to aim for me there. But definitely more fun. What I also liked are the “slides” made out of metal wires enabling the little ones to roll the balls down from them. There were two types of them having different height. Overall - we’ve had a fun filled time in Toppler Bowl.

Cute little bowling ally, Doesn't look like much from the outside but dont let that stop you, I went there with my family and we all had a very pleasent time, extremly reasonable rates and very friendly staff.

Lovely little bowling alley. Reminded me of the one I used to go to when I was a kid in High River. We had fun on a date night and went neon bowling. The desk guys were cool and friendly. Would go again.

Fun for five pin bowling, but nothing really to eat and no outside food allow. Make sure you eat before going out your going to starve. Unless you like tiny expensive hot dogs or bags of chips.

Love going here with the family for some 5 pin! Toppler has been here as long as I remember ( 30+ yrs), retains much of the dated decor of its hay day. Good shoes and beer selection at decent prices, Tuesdays are discounted. Cons: minimal open bowl times, poor customer service on phone and brutal lighting inside (too bright and florescent) although they do black light on the other side Saturday's. Kind of cool to see Blockbuster, HMV, Futureshop et al come and go but ye old bowling alley endures!

Dropped off my younger son for a bday party. While he certainly didn’t have any judgement regarding this establishment my initial observation was that it was quite old. But you know what? The staff produced some bowling shoes very quickly and the glow bowl seemed to be on point. I didn’t stick around for long but my son told me afterwards that the hotdogs were kickass. Guess I will have to go play a few frames.....

I found the establishment quite pleasing. Newer technology as far as the scorekeeping went. The place was very clean (even the men's room) and the two young guys behind the counter was quite personable. I will definitely go back soon.

This place seems very old and there is always at least 1 bowling alley that dosent work. It also has small bowling balls that usually isn't heavy enough to knock anything off. I'd reccomend going to other bowling alleys close by.

Fun time. But out reservation was pushed back 20 minutes because other bowlers took a lot of time to finish just a few frames and the staff didn't do anything. $40/lane/hr

Great fun, and really nice staff. We had trouble with the pins on our lane, but they moved us to a new lane with no problem at all. I like that they have both regular and glow bowling. Great place for an afternoon out with the family.

Very nice staff, they were extremly accommodating and friendly. This was a hidden gem that I didn't know about. The place was quiet (for bowling hahaha) and very clean. We ordered pizza from upstairs and they allowed our large group to eat the pizza at their establishment. I would definitely go back and recommend to others to give it a try. Excellent

I had 2 birthday parties here recently for my 6 and 7 year olds. We enjoyed it. The price was great. The 5 pin bowling is great for the kids. The staff was very relaxed and helpful. The party room is small but functional. Impressed. Will be going back to play a few games. Would recommend for a budget friendly party.

We had our kids birthday party at Toppler today. It was easy to organize, very affordable, and the folks running things were super friendly and great to deal with. The alley itself feels and looks just like the ones I remember hanging out in as a kid in the 80's. Highly recommend these guys if you're looking for a fun way to kill a few hours in SE Calgary.

Fun times bowling here. Not all that expensive either. $44 for myself and 2 kids (10 & 7) for 2 games, that's with shoe rentals too. I'd recommend ordering food and drinks as soon as you get there as the food service can be a bit slow.

Great bowling alley, 8 lanes of regular and 8 lanes of glow bowl. I like the smaller bowling alleys because they are not as loud as larger ones and I can enjoy the game more. Never tried the food ... was having too much fun with the game. Will be back again.

Found the manager rude, seemed to treat staff poorly (micromanaging). Employee was nice, prompt and efficient, manager tried to double charge us assuming his employee wasn’t smart enough or capable enough to have accepted payment. Bowling was fun, food smelled good but we didn’t hang around long

It is in a little, older, mini-mall, in the basement. You can tell right away that they try really hard to keep the place clean and smelling fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rates were reasonable. It’s true some of the balls had chips in them, but it didn’t dampen the fun of laser bowling with my son. A nice, family run, business that deserves your business

The staff were nice and accommodating, but the “glow bowling” wasn’t really what we anticipated and to be honest we were disappointed as it was the highlight of my daughter’s birthday (we all wore white and we barely lit up). The other side should be blocked and more black lights should be added. Music would be nice too. That was my experience with glow bowling before and what we expected.

I recently went here as an idea for a first date. The owners behind the counter were very friendly. I was a little bit put off by how it looked from the outside but it was fine, the place is a little bit old but that just adds character to the place. 5 pin bowling with many different ramps for small children. This is where I first went bowling as a small child and many decades later it's where I took my 2.5 year old to do it first add well. Staff is excellent and it's well priced. It might be a little "dated" but it's bowling.. doesn't need to be 2018 technology for it to be a blast.
