You know that we do not usually bother to give reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Bowling Alley is classified in the category of Sports complex.
Friendly and cozy
Good place, good food.
On the pricey side but great lanes.
Decent bowling, decent food at a decent price.
We had a great time!
It's a great atmosphere of 50's nostalgia!
No problems here, a nice small bowling alley that offers both 10pin and 5pin, with good food and good service.
Have been going here for the last couple months now, would not recommend if you are looking for a good night out. Staff aren't very friendly or helpful whatsoever. Lately, they have been closing about an hour or two early claiming that the alleys weren't busy enough when they clearly were all full. Would not recommend.
Lots of fun! The energy is amazing and absolutely will pump you up! I haven't had a chance to try their food but it smells good. They also play some really good music too!
The food is okay but too over priced for not good quality, and they messed up on orders twice. The staff aren't mean but they seem sad and unfriendly.
The price is pretty good, both 5 and 10 pin bowling, kind staff, my only problem was how it was a little busy, however the do serve beer so that makes up for it :)
Nice ppl great bowling
There are two sections, one for kids and one for adults. You're able to pick music, the food is great, and so is the customer service!
Nice place to spend time with friends and family, quiet as it can be and relaxing.
They have a really nice bowling alley. Been going there to bowl since I was a kid. 1 side is 10 pin and the other is 5 pin. They both have the option for dark disco vibe and bumpers for the kids. Went recently for a Christmas party and got to try their food for the first time. Staff was super friendly but the pizza was very sub par. Would've rather had a frozen Delissio pizza...
Very cool retro theme!
Fun place, good for birthday parties.
Good bowling, well maintained and friendly staff.
A great date spot! My girlfriend and I were going to check out a movie but we had some time to kill before our showtime. Located conveniently close to the movie theatre this was an excellent spot to start our date night. We ended up having more fun bowling then at the movie.
Great place to bowl has that retro feel with furniture and how the space is set up. There's plenty of seating around. They offer 5 pin and 10 pin bowling. It's a great place to host a party or have a family night out!
Excellent place.
10 pin and 5 pin. Unfriendly staff and really old chipped bowling balls.
Bowling is bowling, but the equipment here was good, shoes were is good shape and the food is actually very good and they bring it out to you.
Classic! I mean who didn't have their 6th grade birthday party here?
Lanes were great, Staff were very friendly
Looking to reserve a Christmas gathering /Party.. take the kids here all the time love it
Owsem place for children birthday parties
Very family friendly, even for my 19 mo dropping balls everywhere. Reasonable prices. The girls at the front super friendly. Totally recommend for families and parties
Honestly. I had a great time. It's what you would expect from a bowling alley aesthetically. Service was prompt and prices were reasonable. Whole place is licensed which makes it great for a night out with friends. Highly recommended!
Had a great time played 2 games of ten pin? 5 pin is also avalible. We called ahead for a reservation, as it is a busy place and also has league play on some nights. Good smaller rooms that can be booked for private events birthdays ect. Bar and grill are cash only, there is a bank machine on site.
Fun place to bowl, good atmosphere, food and drink options. Not super expensive.
Always have a blast and the remodel looks great.
Very cool bowling alley that is styled retro, with a very authentic vintage feel. The snacks were great and the staff are very friendly. Clean and family friendly!
A fun place!
Good bowling alley. Friendly, helpful staff. Expected and I received a good time
Retro coolness.
Could use some renos
Great place to spend time with friends and family. Staff were friendly and it was overall a great experience.
The bowling part was great. Kids enjoyed it a lot. We were there for a team event with a out 6-8 kids. The staff lady made the experience less enjoyable...like not letting go us have a pitcher of water because it's "dangerous". True story. One of us had a bad day. Other than that it's a fun place for group activity.
5 and 10 pin bowling, plus cash-only diner-style concession ( you can use cards to pay for bowling), beer available (thank goodness). Fun place to take your kids, if you like bowling. Fairly expensive...2 games for four people will be over 65 bucks, not including concession....It's a bowling alley, OK? I rolled a 162 last time i visited, just FYI
Loved it!!!! Great atmosphere, nice folks, good food. One thing: the sign indicating where the lanes are located is impossible to see from the parking lot and surrounding streets. Unless you’ve been there before, there’s no way to tell there’s a bowling alley there. It’s like it’s a speakeasy or something... I had to go to a convenience store to ask where the lanes are. The girl laughed because she gets asked this all the time. Where’s the advertising for the lanes so that people can see from the streets and parking lot that there’s actually a bowling alley under the strip mall?!
Quite busy, but a good environment and fun experience overall.
Good place to relax and have fun
Fun 50's theme and good for familes
Fun , family atmosphere,
The smaller basement bowling alleys are always the best, it has that comfy cozy atmosphere to it, and it is clearly a family run business. Calgarians.should support family run businesses more, Instead of going to all those chains. I've been coming here since I was a kid and now I am bringing my kids here! And having a blast everytime. I Hope this bowling alley stays here for a long time!
I remember bowling here 20 years ago. Still as much fun today as it was then!
Cool place, with lots of lanes open and good discounts if you go at non peak hours or weekdays!
Neat place, wish they had air con though as it was sweltering down there from lack of airflow.
Lanes often broke and had to be fixed. Along with the fact that it's over priced makes it not my first choice.
We had a great time!!! And such friendly staff and such a nice bowling alley. Thanks so much ... we will be back.
I absolutely love mountain view bowling. I always have a great experience. My last one, my group of 14 people were running late and they were OK with it. Great service and price!
If you like throwing heavy objects at smaller objects while enjoying alcoholic beverages, Mountainview has you covered.
Interesting location. Food was ok and lane was not even. Our company party was fun none the less.
Nice retro style bowling alley with both 5 and 10 pin lanes.
Lots of old school charm
Took kids out to play 5pin. Great service. Everyone had lots of fun.
Went here twice for a double date and other time for a birthday.. both enjoyed the experience.. Food was a bit pricey
Low quality food and expensive drinks. At least the bowling is decent
Good value for what we paid (3 bowling games plus shoe rental)
Lots of fun. Very retro. Unexpectedly clean for this type of business (if you know what I mean)
Always have fun here. I wish they had some 12 and 13lb balls with xxl finger holes.
Fun place to go with friends books up fast for 10 pin on weekends though
Cool place both 5 pin and 10 pin. Kind of expensive at $70 for family of 4
This place is super fun. Great for the whole family. We did 5-pin on a Friday evening and there was room for us. The staff was so nice. Food is standard diner food - what's nice is they deliver it right to your line after you order. We will definitely come again.
I was just okay. I prefer the Chinook bowling place over this one. Snack bar didn't have many options. There was not a good air ventilation. I'll go there if I have no other options.
They offer a free drink if you get a turkey
Always good fun. They offer 5 and 10 pin bowling. The staff are friendly and cheerful. It's bowling, so it's pretty loud, but that's just fine. Beer is available, so yay! They even have size 14 bowling shoes for people like me with Sideshow Bob feet.
Love coming here! Weekdays it's pretty quiet so we got the corner to ourselves. The food was really great and there is always a friendly face at the front door. Looking forward to coming back with my family and friends again for 10 pin.
Super fun place to go bowling for not a bad price! I've been going here for a while on my own as well as my Phys Ed class and it's always a good time. As far as the bowling goes, it's well kept and tidy. The pins take a little longer to set up comparing the other bowling alleys but not brutally slow. Their food is pretty standard for what you'd expect, nothing extraordinary but still very good. Highly recommend!
Every time I go it is busy. That’s usually a sign that a place has a good handle on supply and demand. It’s suitably retro without feeling kitchy, with old fashioned soda bottles and so on. The nearby deli and bakery are almost as important to visit as the lounge or the restrooms.
Bowling is obviously good can't really review that. But the staff have gotta be the grumpiest group of people I have ever met. They seem to be inconvinced by there costumers and give you simple one word answers to your questions.
Had Christmas staff party here, last night. All the staff was rude and made us feel unwanted. Especially the older man at the bar, very snappy. Disappointing considering we spent so much money there. Food also wasn't good.... not returning
Great place
Really great atmosphere! It’s a themed bowling alley, perfect to take Instagram photos! I’ve only ever been here once, during the pandemic and they clean everything from the seats to the bowling balls! They let your party play on every other lane for social distancing. Staff seems nice, but we weren’t able to interact with them much aside from check in (you can reserve). There’s also a little eating area. The scoreboard/tv interface is really outdated though, the graphics are probably circa early 2000s… but if you have good company, you’ll still have a lot of fun here!
Came here for bowling and did not try their food. Bowling was decent but their equipment is a bit outdated. This place could use some refreshing.
had so much fun , good for group families or friends
This is a great bowling alley! Maybe the best one in Calgary?! I mean, they have 10 pin and 5 Pin bowling! They serve all kinds of food and drink. They have a full kitchen and a full bar. This is in all right place for the family and an excellent place for the adults!
Good staff, fun spot! Have been more then once and it’s always fun no matter your age
Place is great had alot of fun will definitely be back !!!
Terrible customer service. All of the staff we interacted with was very rude and unhelpful. Some of the ladies at the front desk even mocked my party for asking a simple question. Even the man working at the concession was in a bad mood. Will not be returning.
Great lil bowling place fun for the hole family loved it..
Great place, great people!
I had quite the bizarre experience here. Showed up for some drop in bowling during the day and the guy at the counter was like "lanes are only available at 9pm". It was 4pm on a Sunday when I showed up and it was quite evident that there were empty lanes so not really sure what the deal was.
Great place to bowl. Good amount of 5 and 10 pin lanes, would reccomend calling ahead to see if there will be space though, leagues can take up a lot of the lanes.
We we're a big group and had a bunch of fun but a father and his young kids weren't helped out by staff very well in understanding that they had rails for the gutters and wouldn't allow them to start over when they found out.
Great place and reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Would encourage them to consider investing in modernization/aesthetics.
Good for birthday parties
Great local alley, good prices
Love this place. Been visiting for nearly 20 years. Reasonably priced and lots of fun
Great place to hang out for a couple of hours with your teenagers. Especially the retro weekends
Place is wicked fun and when we only had one frame left they extended our time, so we could finish! Highly recommend! ????????
Bit dated but still functions well enough. Bring cash if you are planning to get a drink or food at the concession stand
I’ve been here a few times now with my friend group and it’s been great!
Great atmosphere but bowling prices seemed high (over $90 for family of four for 2 games) and food portions were small for price also.
Great bowling alley! The food is very decent and the lanes are good.
Update: Usually i am very easy to be pleased????. The management replied to my review and indicated of upcoming improvements. I really like someone at least acknowledging and letting us know of good things and bad things. Not that a single review will make a difference but it's a 4 star for management's acknowledgment ????. Original review: We usually enjoy our trips to this local place which is like 5 min drive from our home. Original reciew: Customer service is not superior but ok. Balls are not well maintained....lots of scratches. Food choice is a usual....pizza, nachos, fries, etc. For a night out of decent fun with family, this is an ok place.
Great replace for 5 pin or 10 pin family fun
Always a good time with the family. Sure the place is a little dated, but it is well maintained and clean. Have always been treated well by the staff. Will be be back again.
Keeping it old school. Foods greasy as ever - I didn't mind
It's a pretty standard bowling alley offering 5 and 10 pin.
One of my favorite places to go bowling! Snacks are reasonably priced and I always have a good time bowling here.
Fun place.
Old school feel, seriously I mean it. Food is not so great unfortunately however bowling is cheap.
-1 star no mountain -1 star no view Claw machine ripped me off Nana was thankful we used the bumpers. Appreciate the generous application of shoe spray.
5 and 10 pin bowling. No smoking and clean. Bumpers available too!
Great vibes, fun times, and everything was well priced
Great bowling alley, lots of fun to go to. 5 pin and 10 pin available. Can usually always get a lane right away unless there is a birthday party. Staff have been there a long time, some of the staff are not the most customer orientated. They are mean or rude by any means. But who cares, most the time you are bowling. My favorite bowling alley in the city by far.
Very fun for friends and family, for get togethers or parties. Also great friendly staff and not to expensive. They offer 5 pin or 10 pin and also glow in the dark bowling.
Always fun coming here!
Every time we called to get a lane (2-3 occasions), the lady who answered the phone talked to us like we were complete morons. Incredibly off-putting considering this was our first impression.
Friendly staff, food isn't bad, glow bowl is fun with the kids, great place for a children's birthday party.
Who doesn't love glow in the dark bowling!?!
It's a great place to play bowling but it's hard to get a spot. Book ahead!
Always a good time at Mountainview bowling. with 5 or 10 pin there are options for kids and adult alike.
Went for glow bowling. Had fun. Pretty much a standard bowling center. They have a 50s/rock n roll theme.
Awesome bowling location with an vintage feel to it. The amount of lanes is on the low side, but there is almost always a lane available.
Nice resource for bowling, quiet time place too, kids had fun, recommend visiting for kids fun once in a while
Great bowling
Cool place!
was a fun time there, love it
had a blast with the kids at a birthday party
Needs more upgrade to the place
Best bowling place in the city. Glow in the dark bowling with a beer is the best!
Always fun
Pins got stuck because Kenzie is an idiot and broke it
Good place to take out some steam when you are feeling violent!
Perfect for birthday parties or a fun time out. Food is actually pretty good and prices are fair :)
It was excellent. It was our first visit to Bowling in a year. Covid 19 preps were in place and followed. We were allowed to remove masks while bowling. Thank you for an excellent time.
Great place to get out of the heat
Pricey for what it is, but it's a longstanding establishment that's worthwhile on sale nights
Love to have family bowling there.
Cute little place with an old school feel.
Really fun place. Staff is super nice. Beer is reasonable.
Been around for a long time. Serves food and drinks. A fun place for a night out.
Great friendly staff!
Fun place to bowl, feels very classic. Not the most expensive place but it can be a little pricey. $44 for two people to play 2 games of ten pin with shoe rental.
Nice
This is your dad's bowling alley. Everything works but nothing is new. Alcohol is easily available along with pub type food.
Great place to enjoy bowling ????
Nice place but a ripoff for shoe rentals. If you're going to make someone rent shoes make them affordable. Won't be back anytime soon.
Very nice facility, great atmosphere and it feels like you’re stepping back in time as you descend the stairs into the alley. Unfortunately same can’t be said of the staff. Me and my friend waited an hour and 30 mins (from 7:00 to 8:30 pm) on a ‘waiting list’ for one of the lanes. We were assured the wait would be only around 45 mins, and based on that we decided to stay and wait it out. If we knew otherwise we would have gladly spent the limited free time we have in our week somewhere else. At no point while we were waiting within sight of the counter were we approached by staff or given any updates. I had to approach twice, and wasn’t even offered an apology or explanation for the wait. Customer service goes a long way in my book, and sadly this place fell incredibly short of expectations. I understand that some nights are busier than others, that’s the nature of an entertainment venue. All I was expecting was a simple update midway, or an explanation/apology for the wait. Edit: I forgot to post this update earlier, but I was contacted by the manager shortly after posting this review and he offered a full refund for the evening. I really appreciated his openness and the gesture and I have returned to bowl since.
The place is a bit dated, but what bowling place isn't. Diner vibe.
Good place for some family bowling
Classic Bowling Experience. Would recommend.
Poor staff, long wait times, was ripped on ordered beers when charged for additional beers, don't go!!!
Excellent lanes, a classic alley for Calgary bowlers. Food is basic but inexpensive, serves alcohol.
It’s great for a kid’s birthday party if you get one of their birthday party packages. If not, the glow bowling is still fun enough for younger kids who are 5 and under. The music might be too loud for some people but it’s clean overall. They also have delivery service from their restaurant area with a decent /affordable menu. We paid $22 ( group rate) for a family of four which included shoe rentals and had 3 hours of fun!
Great place for bowling!!
I would book your bowling trips elsewhere. I went a couple days ago with a group of four at around 9PM and the man at the counter had told us that we were allowed only one game, due to the place closing early because of "lack of business". Their store hours had stated they were set to close at 11PM. The other staff members were trying to make an exception but ultimately, he had the final say. He requested that we were able to buy more games if we split our group of four into pairs, but that doesn't make any sense at all. How does being in pairs make it any different if we were in a group? They reject service to customers WILLING to pay for more games, which is ridiculous. Maybe the reason why you aren't getting good business is because you're rejecting customers service during store hours so you can head out early for the day. Would not recommend.
Fun time.
Old school bowling alley. Went to it during my childhood and still now. Good prices, fun environment.
Great place to bowl
A blast from the past. Food is seriously over priced and bowling can also be a bit expensive if you go on a weekend during the day. They have a night or two a week where the price comes down quite a bit. Service is good and the I've never had a problem with the lanes or the equipment. You can play 5 or 10 pin here.
**My response to the owners response is below my initial review.** We had my partner's birthday here on July 30th and unfortunately had an awful experience. The manager on duty was incredibly rude and pushy, no music played the entire time and even though there were no reservations after us we were not allowed to finish the 2 frames left in our games. The large group (I believe there were about 18 of us of all ages ranging from 1 - 70) were all buying food and drinks and spending a lot of money at this establishment. We were all well behaved and there was absolutely zero reason for us to have been treated so poorly by most of the staff. We would have loved to have stayed and played more games and bought more food and drinks but the attitude of the staff, mostly the manager, made us never even want to come back let alone stay another hour. Very unfortunate and disappointing experience. I also see that a review done by another person in our party has either been deleted or hidden, which is incredibly sketchy and unprofessional. Bad business all around. **Response to owner: Very interesting response. The music was not playing at a reasonable volume until the very end when one of the guests from our group asked for it to be turned up. This is a very minor issue and I find it hilarious that it's the main one you've chosen to stand up to. We had 15 bowlers. We were told by your staff that each lane was a maximum of 6 bowlers so with that logic we had to have 3 lanes. We paid for 3 full lanes, whether we had 18 bowlers or not. Ontop of the 15 bowlers we had another 5 guests not bowling who bought full meals and beverages. We had a total of 20 guests. You must be looking at a different group. There were actually a multitude of things you could have done to rectify this situation and you have chosen not to. Even a sincere apology would have sufficed. This tell me everything I need to know about how you run a business and why your staff is so horrendous. In this day when businesses are struggling due to covid I am shocked at how this situation has been handled and definitely wish we had spent our money somewhere that has proper business practice and where they are kind.
Nice place a little pricey though
Great service and awesome time :)
This place was awesome. Had our sons birthday here and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Mountain View Bowling took really good care of my son's soccer team. The owner provided a tailor made package for our group and once there the staff were empowered and accommodating. The kids had a great time.
Buddy at the till licked the shoes
Fun and friendly staff. Made accommodations for my 4 year old nephew with no delay.
Outside looks like a dive but once you get downstairs the alleys are well kept. Was not overly busy but obviously busy enough to keep maintained. They had 5 pin and 10 pin. Concession was a little expensive for what you got. Beer was cold and a decent price. Would definitely come back here again.
Love it
This is usually my go to bowling place but the last few times ive gone, the staff had told us that we can only do one or two games because they decided to leave early because there were no customers. My most recent visit, upon entering the manager behind the desk did not greet us and seemed annoyed that we came in, and refused to give us more than one game even though we showed up 2 hours before close and was he very rude about it. No wonder theres no customers, theyre turning them all away. Unfortunately we will be looking for a new bowling place as we’re obviously unwelcomed here.
Reasonable prices food is acceptable a great time was had by all
It Okay
Atmosphere is great! Staff is great!
Renovations look great.
Old school bowling alley with friendly people, lots of fun
I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Staff were very pleasant.
Good atmosphere, nice staff, clean. Fun family time
Super fun place to go bowling! The prices are really quite good and it's so much fun. The 5 pin is awesome and the 10 pin looked really professional. They seem like they have alot of teams that play there so it can get quite busy, but don't let it intimidate you because there are tonnes of people there to just have fun. The food however was questionable and I would skip it and just go to the Richmond's pub across the parking lot. Food was below average and I would just stick with pop and drinks.
Went Saturday afternoon at 1ish in July. 30 degree outside. No one bowling but us. Felt completely ripped off. Told us it was higher $ because the lights were off and it was glow bowling. Which isn't suppposed to even be during the day. Website said evening only. Don't give you receipt or good explanation. Not sure we would go back! Could have bought the Groupon for 8 and paid less than for us 2 adults and 1 kid.
Phoned and asked to make a reservation, denied. It won't be busy they say. Show up, and then asked to wait for more than an hour and staff denies speaking to me.
Its AWESOME get ready for a party of a life time
Fun retro atmosphere! It's pay per game so it can be pricey but they offer a lot of discount days/deals.
Pube on my bowling ball. Fun but angery. Check your balls for pubes.
I wish I could give no stars...one of the worst experiences I have had at a business in Calgary. Can’t even see the mountains
Won't be going back. Cost $40 for one game with my 5and 3 year old boys. Done in less than an hour. Could spend the day at a play place for less.
Super fun place. Retro style, has a 'drive-in' style restaurant (food is actually pretty good, mostly fried) and bar (even has some local beers to cho0se from), lots of different size bowling balls, and being able to chose between 5-pin and 10-pin is great. It's usually not very busy, however you can call ahead and reserve a lane too. Staff are friendly and funny. It's a good old bowling alley, and you can't really ask for much more.
I payed $45.00 for two games in a total of 15 minutes. In my opinion it's a total waste of money as whereas other places cost less for more time. I do not recommend this establishment. The manager on the other hand was not very helpful and was very aggressive towards my friend and I.
Great fun for the kids. Friendly staff
Staff are sweethearts!
Awesome
Good place to go but the staff at times is grumpy and not friendly. A smile goes a long way or even saying thanks for coming when saying good bye after we thank you.
Love this place. Nice atmosphere, polite and quick service. Prices comparable to others. Will visit again.
Got 4 strikes so it can't be bad. Also nachos were great.
Some healthier options would be good for their menu but overall a great experience.
Classic place. Staff were very helpful and kept everyone organized.
Pricey for a family of 8 but it was fun with kids and we went during glow in dark bowl
Friendly staff
Great staff, very helpful, small, really seem to value their customers
Has a very retro feel. There are good drinks, pretty decent food, and the shoe rental and game cost is pretty cheap.
Way over priced and the lady at the till was very rude. Lanes were well kept up and lots of balls to choose from
A great place to bowl. Clean and family friendly.
Had a ton of fun here. Took my niece and nephew. The staff after super friendly and had a great time with my family. Felt really safe here as they used every second lane and cleaned each area and the balls when groups were done. Great covid protocols.
I would like to give this place no stars. We came on family day probably the busiest day of the year. We were lucky and got a lane right away. We ordered food immediately and ended up waiting for over a hour. The table next to us received a gift card from the manager for their next visit. I intercepted the manager and shared our experience. He said “oh the kitchen is still backed up, good you got your food”. I asked if we’d be compensated like the table next to us. He said no. I replied I’m glad to see you treat all Your customers fairly and the same.
Cool retro place. Clean bathrooms, modern equipment but pretty expensive. $50 for 3 people to play one game. Yikes!
Called ahead on Saturday morning when they opened to inquire if they had leagues going on or if it was public bowl, the guy on the phone stated that they would have a few lanes open for public bowl. Arrive at the bowling alley and the old lady behind the counter stated she had nothing for public bowl and when I had mentioned that I had just called she stated that she would put us on lane 6 but we had to leave by 2. All in all a bad experience. Will not go back
Nice place, friendly staff, makes for a great night of fun for couples, families, friends, or whatever your mood. Most importantly, feels clean, although it is not new. Can host birthday parties as well. Food quality is as expected for a place like this - about the same as any fast food joint, but that's quite ok. Price of bowling per person is about $10 per person per game, so it's not terrible. All in all, will visit again.
Celebrated our daughter's birthday today. Big thanks to Maddie, we were unorganized, a lot of people were late so had to do and redo the list of names. She was so patient and helpful ! Everyone was nice and understanding with our rowdy bunch of kids ???????????? definitely recommend!!
Clean with good customer care.
A bit more than just an average bowling alley. Retro style, which is cool! A little overpriced, but the equipment is in great condition. It's clean and there's also great food for a low price. They even serve it to you! The staff are nice; they let my friend do his homework in their alley. It's a nice, peaceful little retro-styled alley that I certainly recommend.
Great facility. Excellent COVID measures. Staff was great (despite the Montreal Canadiens mask). Had a great afternoon of bowling.
Great lanes and good atmosphere. The food is definitely not the best, though.
Great place to take the family
Decent bowling, a bit pricey though.
Good bowling selection, well priced drinks and bar food to snack!
It's a very big cool underground place. Decent prices, smells like bowling alley. Not usually busy but if you go on Friday or Saturday night you might be waiting a while. A little out of date, needs renovations but what can you expect from a bowling alley. I don't believe there is glow in the dark but I could be wrong
Great staff with a Retro feel. It's an older alley and has a comfortable vibe. Bowl cheap on Sundays and Mondays! Great value.
Good place , like the oldies feel to it sad to hear they sold there jukebox , that's a huge part of retro . Need to get another one , prices were a little higher than expected especially for shoe rentals ... food was tasty though . Also was clean and tidy . Overall we quite enjoyed our time there.
I would give zero out of five if I haven't loved this place in the past. Unprofessional experience. We came to mountain view bowling because we could not establish a reservation at national. We were made to feel unwelcome from the beginning. Once we were half way through our bowling game we were told we were no longer welcome and no longer welcome to order from the bar. Not once were we able to order from the bar and the manager, Brett, did not allow us to order whatsoever from the establishment. He was a complete dillhole on a total power trip. The 4 of us had shared ONE bottle of wine at dinner previously and he assumed we were intoxicated when we walked in. The manager was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be back until the owner replaces the management.
Fun place. Good snacks. Great time!
Great place for kids party
Sweet
I love this bowling alley. We bowl in a league on Tuesdays and we love it! The staff is courteous and very friendly!
I had a wonderful experience with my family at Mountain View Bowl. We've been apprehensive to take our toddler out many places due to the Pandemic, but we opted to go bowling and found it to be incredibly safe feeling. When we were greeted, the staff told where our lane was located and that we could take off our masks once we sat down and started to bowl. There was plenty of distance between ourselves and the families next to us. While we were there, we witnessed the staff thoroughly clean the lanes and every surface/seat next to us in preparation for the next bowlers. We also witnessed them cleaning the stairway banisters and the desk front surfaces. To order food, we were told to simply press the service button and a masked waiter came right to our lanes to take our order. Bowling here felt like a very safe, fun, family activity and we will certainly be back again as the weather gets colder.
