We've got all the reviews of real people like you who are buying the services and products of Leduc Lanes (Bowling Alley) in Alberta (Canada).
At present this business receives a score of 3.7 stars over 5 and that score was based on 83 reviews.
As you can read, the average of ratings that it reaches is quite positive, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the evaluation is very faithful. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are happy with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Bowling Alley is included in the category of Bowling alley.
The owner was pretty snarlly to pretty much everyone there, even the children. No food, cheap atmosphere and expensive bowling. Not going back.
I piece of the old leduc lanes exists here. true leducians will "get" it.
Definitely a dated venue, but it was a blast to be bowling and the customer service was second to none.
Good lanes
Always a great experience here. My kids love going every week
Leduc lanes is awesome, she's amazing, very friendly and it doesn't come close to hurting the wallet.
Friendly staff. Quiet and quaint. Space is a little cramped at the tables, but still had a lot of fun.
The owner went above and beyond what we were expecting. Our youngest has autism with sensory issues and had the best birthday party.
So a few days ago there was post made on Facebook about this bowling lane and how horrible the owner is, the filthy state of the establishment, the high prices, and alleged abuse against a patron's child. Given how Leduc citizens operate, I was curious. So a friend of mine and I went to check the place out. Now, the last time I went it was in a different location under different ownership. The difference is literally black and white. The old place was dingy, greasy, dirty bathrooms, and very poorly lit. Also a crappy location. The new place, well it's a bit tucked away off the main road BUT wow the new place? Very brightly lit, walls are so clean (despite how much children are allowed by their parents to run around), the floors are clearly maintained (and I don't just mean the well oiled bowling lanes), and the bathrooms are so homey! When I told her I own a cleaning business, she said I could check out the men's room as well and they have a changing table for single dads!! Of all the commercial properties my company is and was contracted with, only two have/had that. It's so refreshing to see such a modern upgrade (and they're the sturdy wooden stand kind not the plastic screwed to the wall type). The establishment also offers a party room, free darts, free pool, and a classic Pacman game. They offer two types of playing; 3 games for $21 or one hour for $55. And excellent rates for corporate events. The owner added her own touch with antiques between the walls and the lanes. The only thing I disliked were the number of Please Do Not signs everywhere. This is where my comment about how Leduc citizens operate. They feel they're entitled and because this mentality has become such a ludicrous phenomenon, this business has had to put a sign "do not touch the water fountain" (used for humidity because the space is very dry) "do not enter the kitchen staff only" "please don't touch" and three signs warning against theft in the bathrooms because the owner has those changing tables stocked for parents if they forgot/ran out of something. Where did common sense go? Anyway, despite ALL that I really recommend people come here if they enjoy 5 pin bowling. It really is a wonderful space for all ages.
No space to move around at all I do not recommend this place to anyone
The owner of this bowling alley is really a wonderful person. She is very accommodating. We had a wonderful and fun time. As my children are homeschooled, they really valued this experience.
Awesome experience. Went for my birthday. Great staff super fun. Old timey feel. Great for kids.
I've heard mixed reviews about the Leduc bowling alley. My kids really enjoyed the neon bowling and the free popcorn. 2 adults 2 kids $45
we went to leduc lanes on new years eve with our children for the first time, it was a great night the atmosphere was great and was great fun thanks !
I love this place! Not sure why all the bad feedback. Nice place to kick back and enjoy bowling at a great price.
Love this place! Everyone's super friendly and it's very well priced :)
One star because lady that owned it was pretty rude to me yelling at me looking at vending machine seeing how it works..although the games were pretty good the lady was not. Her employee was having trouble with somthing and she asked for help..the owner was snapping for her to do it her self until she had to do it herself with a big UGH. Change your attitude... Wouldn't go back even if you paid me...owner if you reply i dont care my review is my review you cant force me to change it
Great Place, really. To enhance your party's engagement, play Bingo Bowling! I guarantee it's a great time! Free drinks when you clear the board! Free pool and a jukebox with all your favorites where you dollar goes a long way! She's going to be fixing up the lanes soon so no need to judge the conditions of the lanes. It's an older Building but has unique features that make for something different that won't break the bank. Yes, if you're in your 20's, 30's and 40's , you will have a good time. Live a little and come out to this unique bowling alley.
My son had a birthday party here & we had a fantastic time. The ladies behind the counter were super helpful. It was our first time being there. Since then we have gone a few times & had the same funtastic experience. The popcorn there is a real treat!
Love the 8 for 8 program with kids. My kids love it
Was way over charged 96$ for 3 kids and 3 adults and was only there an hour and the service was poor let alone the new location for the bowling alley and parking is crap it is not suitable for people who need wheel chair access.
Amazing!
I really enjoy this little bowling alley! It’s kept up really nicely and it’s full of wonderful people! The owner is always very thoughtful and friendly. I personally enjoy teasing the owner and talking with her since she treats me more of family member then a customer. I will keep coming and bowling here and recommend anyone to try it out if I’m the area! ????
Owner is terrible business manager.
Had a great night! Four games for the price of two and could have probably played more! And a free cheese and crackers tray! Friendly staff too!
Have lived in Leduc for 4 years and recently found this hidden ???? gem. My kids had their birthday party their recently and I cannot say how much fun they had. The alley was full and the owner extremely busy but made it a priority to check in to make sure people were taking care of. 10/10 recommend!!!!
Had a great time! 8 adults total and 2 kids, we all had a great time. Love that they have slush puppies! My favorite drink! Haha. Will definitely be going back.
Really friendly lady at the counter! But the poor woman was all alone so it took around 10 minutes to get drinks...which they had none of (she said a hockey team cleared them out). When we got our table, I had to clean it myself and remove a bottle of beer sitting in front of my son????. When we first entered the building we weren't sure if kids were allowed in because of all the alcohol floating around and a few rowdy crowds. Lots of strange clutter sitting around made me wonder if I was in a bowling alley or a thrift store. Chairs are attached to tables and swivle but not very easily and my legs are bruised up from banging them on the table and chairs around me. Balls would randomly shoot out of the machine onto the floor, kinda scary. The cost doesnt fit the experience. Ive paid the same price at some really nice bowling alleys and you get a way better experience for your buck. For the price and experience, I would rather drive to the south side to play.
No
The owner was super flexible, kind and generous with helping us plan a work social event. She opened up on a Thursday, encouraged us to play the BINGO bowling and we all had so much fun! Highly recommended.
Great place to go for a night out
The bowling alley is warm and welcoming. I just L♡'VE the antique decor. The woman that runs or owns the place must really like being there !
Awful experience. Lady was very rude, charged 40$ for one game and a cooler thinking I was gonna stay for a couple games but decided otherwise after making a visit to the washroom. When I asked why so much she immediately became definsive. When I called to book my lane she told me it was $18.75 for 3 adults and shoe rentals plus GST which is why I went through with it as we were looking for something cheap to do close to home. I wasn’t shocked it being 18.75 all together because it’s only 5 pin bowling and the smaller bowling balls. All in all don’t waste your time and money just to be snarled at by someone who doesn’t enjoy what they do.
Dirty. Very pricy. Lady that runs it is rude. Would give it a 0/5 If I could. I'll never go back better off going to the south side of Edmonton before going here.
Was just bowling with the family here and it was awesome! Great place close to home. Definitely recommend Leduc Lanes!
Really nice lady and I understand needing to make the books balance... but.. 2 coronas and two games for two people = $50? Terrible sappy songs from the 80's that can only be changed if you fork out more money for the juke box.. went for glow bowling, a few black lights over the tables... a miss.
never again.
Had a good time. The owner was very pleasant.
Just spent a wonderful family day at Leduc lanes! Showed up during leage (my bad for not checking prior) with 4 kiddos eager to play. Scarlett totally accommodated our family, set us up with a lane and shoes. Went to clear up our bill at the end and she told us to have a wonderful family day and that round was on them! Made our day. Thank you for your kindness and generosity, our family will most definitely be back.
An amazing, comfortable and homey experience! I will definitely be going back there!
This seems like a very small family owned business. She is a super nice lady that owns/runs it. Don't expect a normal business experience or you may be disappointed. However if you are looking for a family friendly experience, this is the place to go.
Absolutely amazing time! Scarlet was a perfect host. It was my sisters birthday and she even bought her a drink when she found out! Thank you! She really takes pride in her place and her customers! We've been here a few times and definitely will be back!
Went here for my first time Saturday most amazing atmosphere and hospitality... will definitely be back again and again! Thank you for the experience!!
Ghetto, dump. Way over priced. Played two games with wife and son, took 35 mins and was charged $50 bucks. First and last visit. Zero ☆
Excellent experience here at Leduc Lanes. The owner is very nice and actually took the time to teach us how to bowl. I've been to many bowling alleys over the years but no one ever takes the time to teach skill, and here they did. Really changed the game and made it more fun. Not only that but she gave us a FREE game of bowling bingo (which is the funnest I've ever had bowling...) Other bonus' included free popcorn, as well as the owner brought us to the back and showed us how the pins get picked up and dropped down every time you throw the ball. Yes the venue is not flashy or new.. But it has its charm. Love the vintage feel. Will be back for sure.
My family and I went to leduc lanes. Some people were charged less then others for the exact same thing. No receipts were given. 2.50$ for a tea. People were charged for stuff they didn't even have.
Service was poor. Kept getting balls stuck in the gutters and within the pins. Screwed up the ends and even some ends were missed. Asked for help and got none. Did get in trouble though when we tried to fix the problem ourselves. Not only that it wasn't cheap to take the kids to.
We were rushed , prices too high
No music and the woman have no smile. She dont looks like happy
Friendly ownership! Very welcoming. Parking could be an issue during busy times (minor detail). Looking forward to our next trip there!
She opened up just for my family to glow bowl! Awesome local venue!
Woman that runs this place is rude. Snapped on my son when he ran in to an EMPTY lane from excitement (he’s 4). I corrected him and grabbed him only for her to continue to snarl at him. I told her enough, I had it handled. She continued to say “well it is my bowling alley” BYEEEEEEEE didn’t even bowl, never coming back. And lady I’ve been skimming through all your reviews, they don’t look too good. Don’t bother responding to me. Mind your own kids and don’t try to lecture families you don’t even know. For an independent business owner you would think you would be more accommodating and understanding of small children. Good luck, hopefully your current group of customers keep your business afloat.
Enjoyed a fun night out
Nothing but amazing things to say about Leduc Lanes. The passion the owner has about this establishment is rare to see these days. We felt like we were at home when we were there. There’s no time limit, no reservations, you’re just welcomed in. Free pool, free popcorn. I would prefer way more to support and enjoy Leduc Lanes, then go into the city where you wait 45 minutes for a lane when almost all of them are open, timed games, terrible service because the place is TOO big. Leduc lanes is what Leduc is about, you can tell she appreciates and cares for her customers. The owner is an amazing women. The time, effort and long days that go in to a local business is tough, but she always has a smile on her face and great conversation. 5/5 DEFINETLY will be coming back.
Had fun bowling with friends fun glow in dark theme, and good food
Love it! Honestly the absolute best staff I have ever been around. Extremely friendly, clean place, so grateful for businesses that go above and beyond. We will definitely be back sometime soon!
Parking is horrible and the cost is really high for what you get . Also entry is a mess
Took 6 kids and 3 Adults bowling here today. Great Atmosphere!! Treated us with great customer service, kids liked the free popcorn and 1 free slurpee each. Would go back again
Great service, comfortable atmosphere great for all ages
Our last experience at Leduc Lanes was less then satisfactory. Prices are in line with other bowling alley's in the city. So for us, we'll be taking our business to the city next time. It's not about the prices its about the experience and customer service.
This place was amazing!!! Would highly recommend if you are in the area. My kids and aunt had a blast! So much fun and we will def go back!! Thanks for the awesome time.
Had a blast with my friends there. Welcoming group of people and friendly staff. Were making it a weekly thing.
The woman who runs this place, charged myself and my two boys age 6-10 $50 for what was supposed to be 1 game! When I asked her why it so expensive she told me I said I wanted two games which is a total lie! If you go pay before you play!!
Glad bowling is open again!
Good
Always an awesome experience :)
