6 if us were playing and as soon as they dimmed the lights we started having trouble with our lane, it would skip turns or not even count if we got a gutter ball or didn't hit a pin... it was quite annoying.. but we were given 2 free bowl coupons, small consolation considering we paid for 2 games for 6 people...

I have been going to holiday bowl since it pretty much opened in lethbridge, many many years ago. It is a great atmosphere, the staff are like family, and they are very kind. I think they have made great progress keep up the great work!!!!????????????

Decent bowling alley. Make sure you call ahead to make sure it's not a league bowling night. Prices are fair. Not sure I'd order a meal here, but the food is good enough for snacking between turns. On-site lounge if thats your thing.

Great fun and inexpensive. They have good food and a bar. If you want a late night activity the black light bowling is a must try. With 20 lanes you won't have to wait long for a lane, I would call first tho to make sure there is not league bowling.

We ordered a pizza buffet for 75 students and chaperones. It was hot and ready on our arrival and very good! We had a blast bowling, and the service was excellent!

Nice bowling alley. Has somewhat of an 80s vibe, with an older computerized scoring system. But plenty of room, good snack bar and a drinking establishment in the building.

Loved the place, the ambience, the people and the staff. I've never experienced this kind of bowling before but it was a blast, we had sanitized shoes, clean seats and a good spot to place our things. The next table over, we had a nice group of men constantly supporting us newbies. A must recommend for family outing, couple fun and group activity. I do think that some new ppl to bowling do deserve the guards too to not feel bad about putting the ball down the drain at every shot, we were denied the option to do so. We were told it was only for the kids. Other than that, overall a good experience.

Wonderfully accommodating for group bookings, very clean space and washrooms, reasonably priced. Decent selection of pub fare for while you bowl, live music acts on some evenings. Staff were very friendly and understanding with a large group. We arrived with our group booking while several others did as well, and they handled the traffic with speed and positivity.

We love holiday bowl. Sure it's outdated with tube TV scoring and the like but it's a great atmosphere, everybody treats you great, and the food is actually very good. Cheap bowling compared to other places in town!

Poor experience. My sister planned my niece's birthday there today and the staff was completely rude and short with my sister and her friend. Any request seemed to be inconvenient to the staff. And the food for the kids took along time. Kept saying that there's a time limit on bowling. Which everyone was well aware. (Which we had lots of time the first couple times it was said) Didnt need to be told multiple times. I did speak to the manager so hopefully he said something to the staff about there behavior. Save your money. Horrible customer service wouldnt recommend planning yours kids party here.

it's your typical dated 5pin bowling alley. drinks are decent priced. had a couple birthday parties for my kids, there and it was worth it. if you're there for blacklight bowling dont go on a league night because they dont turn the music and lights on until 10pm

The food isnt horrible, the lighting is a little off, the atmosphere is non existent, but the staff is great, and who doesnt love a good 5 pin? The staff is doing a fantastic job.

Fun family oriented friendly 5 pin alley. Good rates that keep it affordable as Lethbridge is a rather low wage area. If you are looking for something fun to do with family or visitors I suggest go to Holiday Bowl.

Staff can be a bit cranky, and the price seems pretty expensive IMHO. The shop is well kept, the bar is nice, and the food isn't terrible. Very busy place.

Got the "kids bowl free" app. Go here frequently now and it is a very cost effective way to take the family out for a fun night. My kids love bowling now... so the free bowling is working to inspire a new generation to bowl.

Does not follow COVID protocols. Most customers were not wearing masks. Staff would not ask it of them. Staff was also not asking for proof of vaccination.

Holiday bowl has good hours, so you can go whenever you have a chance. The bowling is pretty standard but definitely fun. There were a few things that were a bit annoying: their jukebox wasn't working, and just took the money we put in without playing anything. Also, we ordered salads, which took way to long to make (an hour), we had to remind them. With that being said, we managed to have a really fun time.

Great facility, too bad about the rest of it, likely will not return. Absolutely no background music. Was told you must pay a dollar per song if you want something other than silence. A member of my group left in tears because she kept getting gutter balls. Asked if they could put up the bumpers was told they will only do it for children. Good thing there is another option in town with music and accommodating staff.
