Sam has been cutting my hair for the last fifteen years. He always gives a fantastic cut. Bar none, probably the best fade in the city. Who needs a $45 hipster haircut when you can get that classic old school Italian Barber cut for $23. Sam is the best!

Good haircut at a good price ($25 for a cut, plus tax, cash only). Great for walk-in, even the regulars don't make appointments, and the wait is never too long.

Having arrived into the area for a few days to stay with family, I decided to look for a local barber for a quick mid trip haircut. I have to say after seeing these reviews and making my choice, I was not disappointed. Sam is everything that's missing in lots of places. Good old fashioned service and master barbering talent, whilst enjoying some relaxing chat. I had a beard trim after my haircut also, which was also expertly done. It wasn't an average barbershop visit, it was a traditional barbershop experience. I'm just disappointed I live in Scotland as Sam's would definitely be my (master) barber of choice.

An old-school, no-nonsense barbershop. Sam is a traditional master barber with decades of experience. That sets him apart from today's hair stylists raised in our era of social media and instant education. Price is a bargain for the quality of the service provided. At $25 (tax included) you get a significantly better haircut than in majority of Toronto's overhyped barbershops charging $40-$50 at least. Highly recommended!

Definitely a master barber. I've been to a lot of barber shops in town, from the chic salon to the hipster barber shop in search of a decent cut. Happy to have found a barber I can trust. If you want a real gentleman's haircut this is the place. If you're looking for a hard part or a basketball shaved into your head then spend double at the hipster place.

Been going to Sam for 20+ years. He's everything you'd imagine from a classic Italian barber - you won't walk out disappointed. Interesting fact - the wall with all his stuff was "transplanted" from a building that was torn down across the street when they built the high-rises. Nothing has changed.

Great place for a haircut. Sam is patient and starts off with scissors unlike other barbers who go for the trimmer immediately. He takes time to listen and understand the hairstyle you need. He'll give you honest feedback about your hair and will recommend the best cut. In terms of price, the charge is slightly more expensive than others in the area but the price is worth the cut. I've availed haircuts at other salons in the area and you receive the cheap service for the cheap price. Sam's is going to be my go-to barber shop.

I've been coming to Sam's Barber Shop ever since moving to Toronto almost 3 years ago. Sam gives great service and haircuts at a reasonable price. Go during the week or early on Saturday, otherwise you can expect a long wait during the day on Saturdays. A standard haircut is $23 (including HST).

Me and my Dad have been coming Sam's barber shop for years. He provides the best quality haircuts while also being relatively fast. I definitely recommend Sam if you're looking for a new barber. He even took care of my curly mess thst I grew out during covid!
