He gave me an incredibly professional, stylish, and sleek looking haircut that immediately stole me fro my former barber. George's shop is located on laird in a narrow space, but the inside customer service is very nice. Free coffee and tea, nice comfy chairs, large flat screen TV, sleek modern design, with cool, young and hip employees with a lot of talent cutting hair! Can also vouch for his high level of care and enthusiasm with younger kids.

Impeccable and welcoming service each time but best of all he and his staff never disappoint when it comes to cutting your hair. They are great with kids (my son is almost 8 but has been seeing them since he was 5). Their operation is modern, super clean and they even took my temperature and made sure each station was sterilized w/ an alcohol mix between clients. Because of Covid they now take appts only, but we just used their online booking for the 1st time this weekend and it worked great! No more waiting on the phone for someone to pick up. I came here with my 2 year old after reading great reviews about how amazing they are with kids. It was the worst experience! My son cried (as toddlers do when getting a haircut) and they did nothing to soothe him or make him less afraid except offering him a lollypop. They were extremely impatient. I was late to the appointment- which I take full responsibility for. But I was driving around for 10 minutes just looking for parking plus dealing with a crying toddler. Life happens, sometimes you’re late because of circumstantial reasons. But the way we were treated, as if we committed a crime for being late and showing zero patience and empathy to a crying toddler. We ended up just leaving. Every other place we have ever been to for kids haircuts were so kind and patient. This place is terrible. I would not recommend anyone to go there with small children. I’ll be mentioning my terrible experience to all the Leaside and davisville parental groups. My 2 year old was traumatized and kept on saying ‘no haircut’ after the way we were treated. His fear of getting a haircut just got worse thanks to George!

Out of the many barbershops I have tried in the past, nothing compares close to George. For that reason, even though I have moved out of the city, I will still travel back to see George for my cuts as it is well worth it!
