I came here for my first haircut during COVID. I really appreciate the procedures they put in place and how simple it was. They have a sign explaining this on their door, but so you're aware, essentially you walk in, sanitize your hands, leave your name and number in a book, then go wait outside or in your car. They'll call you when it's your turn. Both you and them will wear a mask during the cut and they will adjust yours as needed. Really simple. The cut itself looks good and I could tell Louis, who cut my hair, knew what he was doing. Will be coming back.

The young guy in the middle is like high key garbage, completely disregarded my request and wanted to “switch it up” meaning trimming half my hair while saying “how good it looks.” Also one of the most annoying people I have ever sat in a chair with. it’s not appropriate to describe a 13 your old your perfect girl but nah he made sure I knew he liked em THICC, disgusting. Requested a bit off the top with a fade on the side and homie made me look like a bully from a 90s movie. Never going back again waste of 22$ 45 minutes and a s**t ton of hair. The guy must be new or something but god dang this man don’t know a thing about hair. No matter how specific you are he won't do it. This review is only regarding this one person. One of the best I've been to!! Old school barber shop, was recently renovated which I personally feel was not needed. The original ambiance was just right. Dave, whom I go to, is excellent and his attention to detail is amazing. Superb prices. It can get quite busy at times but that's a reflection of their skill and popularity!

Lets at last start with the good. 1.) They're open early. 2.) Good people, polite, and friendly. That is about it, really. I paid them a visit (literally a few minutes ago) since my go-to shop is closed for two weeks. I was in a pinch and needed to get one asap. And man, I regret it. They know that two shops near them (one of which is my go-to) is closed for two weeks. Seeing an increase in foot traffic and customers, this would be their chance to win some new regulars Literally THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY. However, that's not the case. The quality of the cut is poor. And definitely not worth the 21.00 per head they charge for. To add to that, the "barber" who cut my hair, as nice as he was, def seem as if he didn't care for how he cut my hair. I'm not even sure where these amazing 5 star reviews are coming from. I don't quite understand it. I've been to quite a handful of barbersp and this shop definitely does not make the cut. Not even close.

Called them beforehand to say that I wanted to drop by to get my hair styled. I told them that I was running late for a wedding and if they could take me in if I reach in 15 min. I go there on time and ended up waiting 15 min to get my hair style. During my wait I politely reminded them that I am running late for a wedding and that I called beforehand. I was rudely told to wait. The girl that cut my hair was full of attitude (doesnt factor into my rating) and probably spent 5 min on styling my hair. As I went to pay, the owner? told her to charge me $7 ... I gave her a $10 bill expecting change for this already overpriced service. She just stared at me and literally didnt hand the change and mumbled something like tips. I disgustingly walked out and won't bother going back. Wierdly, the owner/men were being super polite as I was leaving :/

Been coming here the past 2 years. Mainly get my hair cut by David and he is a very professional and takes great care of his customers. For about $27 (before tip), you get a great cut as he makes sure each and every hair is at the right place. The shop can get busy during weekends and before holidays, so I suggest to call their number ahead of time to see availability and he can put your name down. I did this the other day and only had to wait 5 minutes after I arrived. Highly recommend!

For a long, long time I always preferred how my hair looked after growing in for a while after a hair cut. Then I found David. He is a skilled, friendly and attentive barber who makes you love the feeling of a fresh cut. I yearn for it and love the fresh fade. That's why I've become a regular. I wait specifically for David even though there's usually a queue for him. Wish he operated on appointment basis! I remember 8 months ago I had a few cuts at a high-end place that charged twice the price of this place and left unhappy. The first time I visited David he gave me a cut and corrected a lot of the issues from the old place. I've been trusting in him ever since and always leave with a big smile!

This is a small gem hidden near Lawrence/Don Valley pkwy. My favorite barber there is David. He is meticulous and detail oriented. He is often busy, but worth the wait if you want a nice clean cut. wether its haircut or a shave you are looking for, he does a great job! Definitely recommend him.

Quality went down the hill. David used to be a good barber but he has recently changed. He does not spend enough time on a haircut and tries to make calls while cutting peoples hair. Doesn't even listen to customers anymore. I won't be going to that place anymore.

This isn't my go-to barbershop, but it's a nice alternative. I didn't find my barber extra friendly, but he was very down to business, which I liked. They made sure they knew exactly what I was looking for and did it well. The extended hours on Thursday and Friday are nice, but the hours for Mon-Wed are quite restrictive for me working a 9-5 when there is usually only one barber in.

Have been visiting for months. Atmosphere is old school and pleasant with straight razor shaves. I have been attended to by David every time and his cuts and attention to detail are fantastic. Had my first cut here with David. He was the only barber in the shop, so there was a fair lineup. He worked tirelessly on everyone, refusing to take a break. He gave me an outstanding cut...better than I've had in years, and did not rush---$21 was a fair price for a great cut. Went back again today asking for a much different type of cut. He seemed impatient and I thought he didn't like me and might butcher my hair as a result, but he proceeded to give me the best cut of my life! So he may not be the most agreeable guy in the world, but he cares so much about his work that he gives you a great cut even if he hates you! I'll be back...
