I wanted to go in but there was a gentleman outside the doorway on his phone talking loudly and aggressive sounding and I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable so I didn't even go up the stairs. Maybe have those conversations away from your entrance?

I’d gone over a year without a haircut, growing out a giant mess that I’d tuck under my hat, went in with a picture of the cut I wanted and Valentino handled it with ease. Modern haircuts by someone with many years of experience. You can tell he’s been doing this for a long time.

Best barber in the West End. Valentino listens and understands what you ask for. He is careful and makes sure I leave looking the best I can. I used to dread getting my hair cut as my hair is curly and I would end up wearing a hat for months before relenting to one of the chop shops in the neighborhood... now I look forward to seeing my barber who remembers me and knows exactly what I want.

Valentino was our barber. My son looked clean, tidy and handsome. I looked like a younger version of myself with my beard still somewhat long as I requested. It was a professional experience and he was very pleasant and easy to talk to. The price was good for two haircuts and a beard trim at $60.
