The taller barber with the black hair and the one with the tattoos both do fantastic fades and cuts. I'm happy every time. They raised the prices sadly due to a rent increase but it's still tough to find a cut for the prices they have.

My husband went twice here. The first time he was happy with his very simple cut. Last night though he came home with an awful cut by a lady. A super obvious Alfalfa botched job in the back. Because he hates conflict and wanted it fixed right away, I fixed it by blending the horrible blunt line in the back. I understand, if someone makes this kind of mistake on your hair, you wouldn't trust them to go back and fix it. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Alex is your man! Super professional, knows exactly what he's doing and cuts your hair just as you want them to be. As they don't charge a lot of money, I recommend being generous with your tips. Afterall, there's not many people who actually take interest in what they do!

Went in with 2 friends and were in and out within 40 minutes. Very friendly staff, quick (and brilliant) haircuts and great service - very affordable too. First time getting a haircut in Canada and I’m very pleased with the results. Highly recommend!

Denzil, thank you for the best haircut of my life. I came in on Christmas Eve and asked for Denzil. I saw based on reviews online that he was the owners son (and grandson?) and thought I'd try my luck. I imagine that other barbers in the place have similar experience and skill, but I would highly recommend going straight to the top if you have the chance. Great price, service and cut!

Probably the worst haircut I’ve received in a decade. The lady there was trying to cut my hair in record time and absolutely butchered it. She didn’t listen to what I asked for, she cut the back of my neck with the buzzer, and didn’t even wet my hair when using scissors. When I said I wasn’t pleased with it she goes “oops sorry hun” and continues to rush my haircut. I finished and started in less time than other people who were there way ahead of me. The other two barbers there looked great though!

Terrible experience! The blond lady took my appointment and she didn't care to much about her job. Scratched my whole head with the clipper, was rushing so badly, it seemed my head will fall off! Worst barbershop experience in Canada so far. Not to talk that she just trimmed my hear and didn't shave the neck or around the ears as most barbershops do. The ide of the barbershop is supposed to be about the details of the haircut! Won't go back and will make sure to share this with friends. See the photo for yourselfs!

Blonde lady scratched the back of my neck(it hurts like hell after four hours), the haircut was the worst I have gotten, completely uneven, she clearly didnt give a damn about anything. Pretty sure it's my first negative review ever on Google. I have never had a bad haircut in my life, until now I guess. I cant believe I paid 23 for this.

Normally this place isn't too bad but there's a blonde girl that works in there on a Sunday and Monday and she's useless, didn't listen to what I wanted and just made it up as she went, told her to take a small bit of the top and she went to town on me, left very disappointed, avoid this place on a Sunday and Monday when this joker isn't there and you'll be ok,

Great haircuts at a price you can’t beat. Even after I moved out of Kits I’ve kept coming back because it beats overpriced haircuts that look the same or cheap haircuts that leave you looking butchered. All the barbers do a great job and are very friendly. They even take debit card now. Would definitely recommend.

At the beginning i was surprised that I could get my haircut in less than 5 minutes. But in home i realised that I had a total mess on my head, thanks God it's Is cold outside and I can wear a hat. Avoid that women if you care about your image ;)

Awful. My fade was uneven on either side of my head and loads of hair was missed (behind the ear etc.) I had to ask one of the other barbers working there to tidy it up a bit afterwards but could only repair so much of the damage. Avoid the woman at all cost, fellas. A barbershop is only as strong as its worst barber.

I have been to many barbers in the city, particularly in Kitsilano - Kitsilano Barbers is by far the best experience I have ever had (including trying out several during my time living in Victoria). The staff are always very kind, welcoming and professional, it's always a pleasure dropping in. My barber Denzil takes care of the shop extremely well and is without question the best Barber I have come across - he has never given me a sub par cut in the many years I have gone there and I always love my haircut every time. You can't beat this deal or shop!!

I've been letting my hair grow out for months, and my hair was a mess that needed lots of work. CH is the best there is and gave me the coolest, Patrick Swayze mullet in town! Kitsilano Barber's stylists are fantastic and really know their stuff. CH didn't blink once when I asked for a mullet. She knew just what to do, and what to do to actually make a mullet look good! What a great lovely small business (I actually think it’s family owned), open throughout covid with excellent service! I always try to make sure to get there early as it’s first come first serve… so don’t be that guy showing up 20 minutes before closing. I miss this place when I’m out of town for 3 main reasons: Affordable, great + slick dapper cuts, and tremendous service.
