If you are in a rush and want to have a quick "whatever" haircut, then K2 is definitely not the place to go to. Because Eric takes time. He takes time to make sure that the results of his work satisfy and exceed your expectations. He pays close attention to all the details, so that your haircut is perfect. One of the best haircut experiences that I've had. I'd definitely recommend Eric at K2 to anyone.

Just read the reviews and ratings. So many people couldnt lie about someone. I went in after reading these reviews. Expecting my expectations to be flabbergasted. Small place but for sure one of the best barbers in town. His father has been a barber all his life so this guy knows the art inside out. Takes his time. Doesnt charge much and you can be assured of the end result. Must try if not till now. He is one of those you hold on to if you care about your hair.

For 25$ I must say the cut was of very high quality, the barber really took his time and paid attention to detail. The place isn't the most esthetically pleasing but that doesn't really matter since it's a barbers shop, not an art gallery. Highly recommended from me :)

What I didn't expect was that I'd end up having a conversation with the barber that lasted two hours, and this is coming from someone who's usually awkwardly silent during haircuts. I came in wanting my undercut cleaned up. It is a simple cut that I get taken down to the skin. I let the barber (Eric) know precisely what I wanted and he confidently agreed. He only used a peanut which did not take it down to the skin. Had he let me know that was his only tool beforehand, I would not have gotten the cut. I also let him know beforehand that I felt my line was curving (overtime) and i wanted to regrow little areas of hair in order to get the line back to be blunt and straight across. He did not keep in mind while doing this cut. The line was also not clean at all. Have to fix the rest at home. I chose this place based on high rating and quality reviews.

(By no means is this meant to be a thorough review.) I gave this place a try after I found it in a hurry on Google Maps. I was so impressed by the haircut that Eric gave me that I'm convinced I'll never be going back to the likes of JD's Barber Shop, Bootleg Barbers, Gastown Grooming Room, Barber & Co., and Mancave (all of which I've tried before). Eric (actually) carefully listened to what kind of hair style I wanted and masterfully applied his haircutting skills (learned from his father) on my noggin. (Unfortunately, I can't say the same for most of the many barbers/stylists I had tried before.) As a bonus, he is friendly and charismatic and surely won't charge you $45+ for a haircut--expect $25 a pop.

I've walked by this shop many times on my way upstairs to the movies. Today I decided to go in for a trim, just to make the mess I call "hair" a little neater. Eric was friendly and welcoming from the second I walked in. The price was $25 for a haircut.Well worth it. Eric has a good eye for making things even.
