Just moved to the area and was hoping to find something local and handy. Not good for men. The lady was impatient. Spent 10 mins on my cut. Didn’t listen to my length request. Cut the top too short and the sides too long. Wanted to charge me extra than I was quoted.

I respect people’s post about this shop. But in my case, I forgot ask her name. Terrible experience ever. I didn’t ask hard stylish hair cut. I just show hair picture with details to her. She saw it just a moment and start cutting. She finish haircut in 12 minuets. Most Horrible Terrible hair cut in my life. She layered my hair too harsh. And Maybe it’s her style but why she cut different lengths of sideburns? I ask to her how fix sideburns she said “Mans hair grow up faster”. Ah? I ask again but she just start closing shop. She said you don’t need to pay. I really wanna talk with manager be for I pay. And She said “come tomorrow I’m busy I need to go north Vancouver.” bus schedule is more important for her. She didn’t tied cover on neck befor hair cut, hairs just came in my shirts

Make sure to leave yourself some time before or after a trip to get a haircut here! I decided on a whim to go to this little salon for a cut on my way off the ferry and I’m really happy with it! She certainly knows how to bring out the best of different hair textures and I don’t think I’ve ever had a more even cut!

Susan is a great hair stylist. She listens to what you want and asks about your hair. She believes that you know your hair best and she styles to go with your hair as it is - not as you dream it could be in a photograph. Reasonable prices - and she's very accommodating if you need an appointment at short notice. She's the third stylist/owner that I've gone to in this location over the past 5 years and it's always a nice experience.
