Couldn’t get a cut. I would rate them higher, but had To walk out because they kept asking me, an androgynous presenting person, if I wanted a "man" or “lady” haircut, and they will give a price accordingly, (stupid practice if you ask me). Why would I walk into a Barber Shop if I wasn’t looking for a barber "men" haircut?! Please take time to learn that binaries are not a thing. That hair is hair and that pricing services depending on gender is a discriminatory practice. Edit to reply to owner: I don’t feel sorry “I felt the need to” leave this review, it will warn other queer folks and people in the gender spectrum, that if they decide to come to your establishment they will have to explain their identity to a stranger, yet one more time! I do feel sorry that you didn’t take this as a opportunity to learn.

I stayed in Niagara Falls only few days. I needed cut my poor hair to very short. Through web maps I found this very pleasant barbershop and I had there perfect #00000 cut with nape straight razor shave from the awesome female barber. I will always using this same barber shop in my future visits in NIagara Falls, Ontario. I can fully recomend! Again thank you Cheryl :)

I really like this place. I'm particular about my hair and Mario's is one of only two places in Niagara I trust and consistently get very positive feedback about. When I go to Mario's I always get positive comments from others. The price is quite good also. If you have a choice between the brand name box salons and Mario's there isn't even a choice. Call Mario's, make an appointment and you won't be disappointed.
