The Haus is the best place in town to get pretty. Bar none. Emma and the ladies upstairs are constantly pumping out beauty after beauty with any number of cuts and colours! Personally, I visit Jimmy and Cammer (and Marge) downstairs where I have yet to be disappointed by a cut/shave/beard trim. They’re a true local business and they regularly support other businesses, local charities and important causes. Jimmy has been trying for 3 years to convince me to get a flat-top (yeah, like action hero’s from the mid-80’s) anywhere else, I would tell them to eat my shorts. But they're that good at the Haus...strongly considering it.

Best place in town! Went to the barbershop and had awesome conversation with the lady cutting my hair (I'm so bad with names, I think it was Jess?) I was pretty vague about what I wanted yet she still managed to give me exactly what I was picturing in my head! The atmosphere is friendly (there's a dog!) and eclectic. They are LGBT inclusive (I am trans and have had a hard time finding inclusive barbers in Sudbury). The barbershop side is cash only, fyi. I will definitely be coming back whenever I need a cut!

Even after living in Montreal for three years, Collective Haus reminded me what I had missed for quite some time. Jimmy is an honest, hard-working individual who refrains from sugarcoating the truth. Jimmy is certainly the best barber in town, in my opinion. And I say this as a person who regularly uses other shops (because they are more convenient). With Jimmy, you always have to book ahead - at least several days if not 1-3 weeks typically. That's hard for me to do because of my work schedule, but I go out of my way whenever possible because no one else does such a fine job. No one else I've found is as precise, as consistent, and who's cuts end up lasting as long (something about the way he cuts that made your hairstyle grow out nice, instead of starting to look funny and unkempt after a few weeks) Highly recommend.

I have been getting my hair cut by Emma for almost a decade now. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, they really go above and beyond for their clients. I even reached out to purchase some product when I was living out of town and boy did they deliver! The cuts have always been completed with attention to detail and they give excellent advice. Theres a great atmosphere here and they also sell amazing products that are high quality and priced reasonably compared to salons in the GTA. I cannot rave about this place enough!

I've really noticed some changes in this business. You'd think people who own their own business could open the doors on time? Nope. Not this place. The owners don't seem to care about all the people their media pages are pushing away, instead of attracting. Shame.
