The barber is extremely patient with customers, he will take the time to listen to suggestions. He has a nice set up with a pool table and lazy boy recliners for the waiting area. The tv is a nice touch to take your mind off waiting if their are a couple of people ahead of you. I went here once right before a job interview and got the job.. Not saying it was the hair cut but he did an amazing job. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good line up, fade, or beard trim. THANKS FADE KINGS

This the only babershop you'll ever need. Its fast and efficient, they respect your time. If your appointment is 1:30 then you'll be seated and have begun at 1:30. I felt like I was talking to a cranky uncle as opposed to a business seeking new clients. I figured the customer service is probably even worse in store. I went to Cut N Run instead.

this is a great place to get a hair cut the owner is great. They only take walk ins which i love because every other shops has you booking appointments and dont take ANY WALK INS AT ALL!. They also accept debit and credit and of course cash is always king. Give them a shot you wont be dissappointed.

I don't write reviews often, but as someone who's had a lot of bad haircuts in his life I feel like its worth mentioning how satisfied I am with my visit here. Simeon was polite and professional even before I arrived for my appointment. I phoned the day before worried I might not be able to make the appointment because of vaccine side effects and he reassured me that it would be fine and that if need be we could cancel and reschedule my appointment. When I arrived I was blown away by the cleanliness of the space. I've seen operating rooms dirtier than this barber shop. He made suggestions when I asked for them and explained himself thoroughly and I ended up with one of the best haircuts I've had in years. Will be returning for the next one for sure. Don't sleep on this place if you live in the east end.

The barber/owner of this place is no doubt very good at cutting hair, however, his attitude is the worst I've yet to see in a business owner in all of Canada. TLDR; Stay clear of this place! What follows is a detailed account of my experience here. I watched him mistreat 3 customers with unbelievable attitude: He was visibly angry that a teenage boy's head was "not relaxed", so he started rocking this guy's head back and forth vigorously, got mad, left the guy sitting there and turned to the mirror to shave his own beard while this guy sat there speechless...the whole thing was surreal. For the second guy, he threw (yes literally threw) the cover cloth on this customer, turned away, took out his phone, and started making this long phone call while the guy just sat there with a cloth draped on him. Then he abruptly nudged the guys head into the direction he desired when he was done with the call...no excuse me, no notice of intention, absolutely no courtesy. I could not believe how adults were tolerating such treatments, so I figured if that was fine with them, then I rather not intervene. When it got to my turn, I showed him a picture of what I wanted, and proceeded to describe the slight variation from the picture that I wanted. Instead he got angry and told me he already knew what the picture meant and I did not need to describe anything to him. But I had enough...I told him his attitude to customers was unacceptable but he simply responded with "Do you want to cut your hair or leave...I have a line-up waiting" Anyways, I stood up and left, but not before telling him what a shame his attitude is, and also told the men sitting there they should not tolerate treatments like that. I question the veracity of some 4 or 5 star reviews here, but if you're in doubt, you can always find out yourself...just remember you have been warned.

Very unprofessional. He likely won’t care based on his responses to other negative reviews but I think it’s important people know the truth. Maybe this barber is talented and this is why he gets some good reviews but his attitude is terrible. With everything that has happened with covid-19 you would think that barbers would be more gracious and grateful for new clients. I’m not saying they should accept any customer that walks through the door but the treatment was horrible. I made an appointment for today Sunday June 28, 2020. I then noticed that his Google listing had him listed as closed and I called just to make sure. His response was completely inappropriate (if you made an appointment then why do you need to call me). I indicated that mistakes happen all the time and I needed to be sure that there wasn’t a mistake on his website before I drove 30 minutes to his shop. He then said that he will go ahead and cancel my appointment which he promptly did. When I called to find out why be cancelled he asked that I stop calling him and that he wasn’t taking appointments anymore. I even reinstated my appointment online assuming he made an error and misunderstood and he cancelled it again! Just a real pompous attitude and very disappointed. Like I said based on the responses to other bad reviews he likely won’t care but please read all the reviews including the bad ones and you will notice a trend. Maybe he has regular clients who put up with this but I won’t be one of them. Fortunately my regular place Castries Barber Salon has reopened so I was able to get my hair cut there instead today. Cheaper too and much friendlier.

Only one man working at this Scarborough place, you'll have to wait awhile if there others ahead of you. Haircut and beard was $30 which is too expensive given that he didn't apply shave cream. I've been to some of the most highly recommended barbers throughout Scarborough and some in the rest of Toronto for that perfect line up and fade. I've had some great cuts from some talented people, but this place is special. My only regret is that I wish I found it sooner. Went in for a haircut on Friday afternoon (1st time). Was working near the shop (Not from the are), and I had to get a haircut before the weekend as my hair was a disaster. It busy as there were a few people ahead of me, but barber still took me (wasn't too long of a wait actually). The place was really chill with a good environment. Nice couches and all to hang out and watch TV while you wait. The barber was very cool and friendly. Most importantly, I have to say, it is hard to find Barber's who take their time know how to do quality fades. And this man, he knows his trade and he knows it well. Gave me a proper bald fade that I was very happy with and a beard lineup. I Will definitely be back again eventhough it is nowhere near when I live. Keep up the amazing work.

I brought my son to this barber shop after being recommended by a friend and it was busy at the time but the atmosphere was really delightful and fun. After seeing my sons hair cut it was the best I've seen in a long time he takes his time when cutting your hair to make sure it's on point

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I see a few similar reviews who encountered the same problem I faced. I booked and pre-paid for an appointment online, only to find out once I arrived that he was not open at that time. When I called the owner, he was quite rude over the phone. I held off on writing a review initially, because the next day I followed up with him, to try and resolve the issue and for me to get a refund (or to book a new appointment). He did respond, and said he would look into it. But I haven't heard back in over a month - completely ghosted me. What a scam - I'm surprised about all the 5-star reviews. Please read the 1 star reviews before booking, to know exactly what you're getting yourself into.

I took my 8 year old son to International Fade Kings Barber Shop for the first time this week. What a great exprience! Booking the appointment online was simple and hassle-free for the client. Simeon did a great job cutting my son's hair. He was very professional and had a safe and clean environment (especially during this crazy time). Even my son said that this was his best cut! We will definitely be back.
