You go there expecting something but you come out with something else. Please make sure you know what you are going to get done and in which way, and discuss it with the barber before your haircut. And another advice is that you get charged for some hidden things that you can think are the part of your procedure but they are not. So please discuss the prices before as there is no point in discussing afterwards, an example is that I got charged for a fade can you believe that.

Naoufal and the guys at HollywoodYXE are the greatest hidden gem for high quality barbering in Saskatoon. Naoufal made me feel better than a million bucks, this is hands down the best beard cut I’ve ever had. A week later and it’s growing out perfectly, he is an expert in shaping so it looks crisp and fresh out the chair but maintains that barbershop style naturally for me with no work to maintain. Can’t wait to come in again for a trim!

I’m disappointed I told the barber I wanted a fade on the side and to keep the top of my head nice and long and he cut it so short my hair looks horrible. I told him that every barber makes the top too short so please don’t and he did exactly what I told him not to do. Won’t be coming here again

The lady who did my hair @12 noon today took an hour and 15 min to cut my hair. My hair is now uneven, like a kid cut it, I didn’t expect it to be so uneven, I even showed her a picture for her to follow. She didn’t follow it, instead she cut my hair straight and short. My sister got her haircut here last year and it was good that’s why I went here and she told me she wasn’t the lady who did her hair..I am disappointed with my haircut..

The shop looks professional and very busy especially for men, creating a great first impression.But maybe I was just an unlucky lady. The only hair dresser there who was a lady created a completely NOT what I told her. I told a different color, and she made a totally different one, and she seemed to try to correct it while washing my hair (??) and asks me to come back ??. I told her highlight and finally when i arrive home I see almost the whole hair in that color not a highlight at all. Never been in this situation in my life. The lesson is to check if the person is confident with what she is doing. She was not at the beginning confident with colors but I did not pay attention to that at all, I assumed that is the basic skill every hair dresser should at least know :(((

I booked a cut and wash, Barber only cut my hair when I went to pay she tried to charge me for the wash. Didn't understand very much English so it was hard to communicate what I wanted. He soaked my head in water and when I moved to wipe it from dripping into my mouth he asked me to sit still. Forced the comb through my hair very roughly, didn't cut my hair correctly so we spent 5-10 mins online to find a photo and even then it was a poor outcome. Took over an hour All round bad experience, wouldn't recommend, and won't be returning

ive had been to several barber shops around saskatoon and with pricing going anywhere from 30-45 bucks, however, the quality, expertise, hospitality, and professionalism this shop has shown is second to none, the pricing is fantastic, with my beard trim and haircut being around 25-26 bucks. Ali was incredibly intricate with the fade he gave me, the beard trim he did only complemented the work he put into my hair, the staff was amazing, if your looking for a quality cut, go to hollywoodyxe!!!

Looks like they deleted my review. but this time I will make sure everyone knows what was my experience here on my first visit. It was sunday I was working till 6pm so wasn't able to go to midtown saloon. So. I call them around 3:30pm and booked the appointment at 6:30 nom. I. reached at this saloon around 6:15m to make sure I am on time be cause I had to go somewhere at 7:30 pm. here when I reached lady told me that I have to wait like 30 mins, I had no choice instead of waiting so I did wait over there. till 7pm. ohhh later on the guy took another walk- in. As she should know I booked the appointment 6:30 b she made me wait 30 min. later win extra 209. min end cup with n o hair cut as I was already super late had to leave from there without hair cut. these people need to learn proper time management . like their time is money how about our time are we free..? If she knew that she already have an appointment booked.At the first point why she took another appointment and wasted. my 1 and half an hours. they are as disgusting as a rotten garbage .

I'm quite particular when in comes to getting a haircut and a bit skeptical about trying new barbers. When I came to hollywood barbers I first realized how prompt the service was. It was a very comfortable, chill and relaxed environment. The barber did a phenomenal job on a very tight fade that had me feeling like money. Last but not least, as I went to pay for the cut I noticed that the prices were unmatchable. If I could rate this place for 10 stars i would! Went to get my haircut as it was getting a little long, road sign says $25 for mens haircut drop ins welcome. Thought Ok I would try something new. Told the guy I wanted a little trim and to keep it long because it was winter. He started cutting and kept cutting , he asked me if I wanted a medium cut I stated again medium trim. At the end he asked if I wanted to have my hair washed. Perplexed I said no.Usually when I have got a cut elsewhere they wash your hair first.Looked in the mirror and my hair was shorter than what I have in the summer. I get to the till and expect the cost to be $25. The barber says to the receptionist Hollywood cut and she charged me $ 30 plus tax. BEWARE ENSURE YOU ASK FOR COST PRIOR TO THE CUT and also make sure the guy who cuts your hair understands your english. Will not be going back !
