Owner Stefan has created something truly great with Hourglass; for both his clients that sit in his chairs, and the barbers that tend to them. The place is clean, the atmosphere is modern, the energy is great, and the service is fantastic. Walk in, kick up your feet, enjoy the energy, and get an amazing cut while you’re at it. Did I mention it was the best fade I’ve had in ages? Just in case you wanted the bottom line.

I'm new to St. Catharines and was desperate for a good beard trim after being unhappy with the last place I tried. I happened upon this spot and I'm really glad I did. Luckily Komar was able to take care of me without an appointment and he meticulously and painstakingly perfected my beard shape better than any prior barber, including the one I happily went to for the past year before moving here. I thought the prices were very reasonable especially considering how patiently Komar took his time making sure every angle and cut was correct, like a true perfectionist. I will be a loyal customer for as long as I'm anywhere near this part of Ontario. Keep up the great work!

I have only ever written two google reviews, so if you're skeptical about going to this place let this review be an indication of how impressed I am with Hourglass Barbershop. Out of the dozens of barbers I have been to in Mississauga and St. Catharines, Hourglass Barbershop is one of the TWO places where I left the shop feeling satisfied with my haircut. However, Komar is the ONLY barber that has left me smiling hours AFTER receiving the haircut because of how good it is. Not only are Komar and Stefan extremely talented at what they do, but they are also great conversationalists. Aside from the great atmosphere of the shop, it's also very clean and has a unique vibe to it. 10/10 will be visiting again and recommending this place to anyone who asks (or doesn't).

Great guys, great cuts. I highly reccomend. Since I moved from Mississauga 2 years ago I've only had bad experiences in this region to the point where I just stopped cutting my hair. Glad I let Komar cut my hair, he will always be cutting my hair. The shop was clean, tidy and trendy. Go early because its downtown St.Catharines and parking is limited.

Service was mediocre at best. For a $50 cut and trim one shouldn't have to go home and fix themselves up. My line underneath my jaw was off, my moustache was off, my chin is uneven and he also missed an entire patch of hair on the back of my head. 10/10 would not recommend.

Booked the shop for the morning before my wedding. Absolutely incredible start to the perfect day. Stef and Komar were awesome with everything they did, not 1 of my groomsmen were disappointed with anything they got. Stef set up the shop beautifully for our morning with food and drinks for us all. The atmosphere in the shop was great all morning, not once did anyone feel out of place. If you're getting married and want somewhere fun to hangout and get ready while the girls are doing their thing Hourglass is definitely the best place to go.
