Going to carousel for my recent tattoo was a very easy choice for me, I have had Jordan tattoo me before and I was very happy with it. Carousel is very clean and just a nice/cool place to get new ink. Everyone is friendly, relaxed and easy going and they want to give you the best tattoo you could possibly get. I would recommend going here because the artists cover off a variety of different artwork styles and the overall shop vibes are good. I feel like whichever artist you choose to work with would be a good choice. I mainly chose Jordan because I have had him ink me before and I love his style. All in all I'm very happy with my new piece and highly recommend their shop.

This is a studio I will definitely be returning to again and again! The atmosphere of a studio is always important to me as I want to feel comfortable and welcomed to a place I would potentially be giving my money to. Carousel was the epitome of a shop I would classify as this. My friend and I originally came in wanting to get flash tattoos but after talking with Tyler about the piece I chose, he was able to take my thoughts and ideas and create a custom piece. From the first time I talked to Tyler to the process of getting my first big piece of artwork done, to me leaving the studio, I was more than satisfied with my time spent in the shop and with Tyler. A couple months later, I am still blown away with my tattoo and the talent!

I had my first experience at Carousel today and it was great! They’re normally closed on Sundays, but they opened their doors today for a fundraiser - it was cool to know that they care about the community that they live in, enough to have a full roster or barbers and tattoo artists on hand to do this! I anticipated that it would be busy, so I came before the doors were scheduled to open to get a spot on the list. Hard to know what turnout will be like for a local fundraiser, so I’m happy I did! Graham did my tattoo and he was great - easygoing, professional and did good work. The entire team was great to chat with, and I’d be comfortable going to any one of them. The environment was comfortable and very clean. I’ll definitely come back here for my next piece! Thanks for making this happen guys!!

Its my favourite tattoo that I have so far. I plan on coming back soon. Best tattoo shop in the Niagara region in my opinion, and I will recommend to anyone that asks.

Could not have been happier with the work we had done and felt that our artist (Tyler) was very talented, professional and above all else FUN! The store promoted a flash day today (Sunday, Feb 3rd), which the description was “doors open at 12pm and the last service will be at 5:30”. I got there at 2:30, waited until 4:50 to find out that the tattoo artist wouldn’t be able to do mine, but accord to the receptionist “he would honor the draw and the price” (which the least that he could do, considering the time that I waited and for not sticking to the event description) if I make an appointment for another day and for me this is very upsetting in so many ways... it should be taken in consideration next time they try to do the same event! First, be more organized and estimate an exact number of people that you’ll accept, so you don’t make people fool (like me). Be responsible and committed is the least you should be.

My mom and I were in today for a very meaningful tattoo. The shop is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. They followed all the required covid procedures in both the tattoo shop and barber shop portions which was super important to us since my mom is immunocompromised. Jamie was our artist and he was friendly, precise and right down to business. He worked efficiently and quickly getting both of us in and out within 1 1/2 hr including his cleaning routine and stencil prep. He wasnt heavy handed and took extra care to make sure our piece was perfect. He made sure we had all our aftercare info upon leaving and was very informative. 100% will be back for another piece in the future!

Quite disappointed I had to suffer through my tattoo I paid for as I am medically exempt and they do not accept exemptions even though it is written in the bylaw. I am now physically paying for it. (Of course I didn’t know this, and paid for my tattoo deposit in advance). The tattoo turned out okay, and my artist was experienced and knowledgeable. The shop was clean. I will not be returning. A kinder attitude towards those of use whom can not wear masks, or a refund would've been appreciated instead. Hopefully some more compassion will be put in place for those of us who are medically exempt. EDITED TO ADD: I have been continuously harassed by the shop owner, my tattoo artist, his wife and family for leaving a bad review. I have been berated by the artists family trying to convince me to remove my review. This shop has gossiped and posted my private information publicly and posted untrue information about me. I do NOT recommend this shop at all after this experience. The artist was knowledgeable about the technical parts of tattooing but NOT in the practical portion of applying the tattoo. Now that my tattoo has healed I have two spots that have over worked skin. The design was not completed properly or as discussed. I was NOT offered to reschedule and be refunded, as I do not want to support a shop whom discriminates against a medical disability. I was previously giving this shop a 3 star, but after they unprofessionally handled a somewhat bad review... I now give this shop a 1 star after seeing all the overworked skin and unprofessionalism. I do not recommend and will be taking my business elsewhere.

No need to look at other shops this is the spot! Amazing customer service from the second you walk in the door from some of the kindest staff I've ever experienced in a tattoo shop. I love every piece I've gotten done here (I see Tyler) The quality is always amazing and you can tell they really put time into making your tattoo perfect from concept to application. Same goes for the haircuts, Jesse nails it everytime and is incredible at what he does! If your looking for an amazing tattoo or haircut Carousel will deliver. Period.

Amazing service, kind individuals and amazing artists. The shop is clean, especially during COVID. I felt comfortable the whole time. They followed proper procedures and did a wonderful job with my first tattoo experience. All of them take pride in their work and show you that they love what they do with the quality of their work! Love the atmosphere at carousel tattoo and barbershop, these guys are super talented, their shop is always clean and presentable. Down to earth people and excellent service. I got a realism portrait of my daughter done by Graham, couldn't be happier with it, killed it with his realism work, going back for more soon and I'll definitely be going again for future work.

This was my first time getting a tattoo here, it has been about ten years since my last and it was a great experience. The shop is really nice, clean and everyone was very nice. Tyler did a great job accommodating me so quickly and being honest about his opinion on placement and design. I really appreciate his expertise and how wonderful he was overall. This shop is absolutely beautiful, and every person that works there is polite and professional and top notch at what they do. (for those who may be getting tattooed for the first time) I can guarantee that you will leave feeling confident in your choice to check this place out. Also I've personally been tattooed by one of the newest members of the shop (Tyler loube) and he is seriously a rad dude. He will definitely work with you, to hook you up with a sick custom tattoo or one out of his own drawings (which are awesome!). Do the right thing and head on down and see for yourself!
