My husband is very anxious about getting a haircut and tends to do it if he sees the salon is empty and he doesn’t have to wait. Unfortunately, he went to Sala Hair twice and Alex made a mess of his hair by cutting it so short that it stood up at the crown!! Then he found this wonderful man at North City Hair who knew exactly how to cut his hair and he will never go anywhere else!! Too bad there are so many bad stylists out there who always cut their customers hair like their own!

This is my fvourite barber shop by far. All of the other places seem to think that you don't know what you want. But the barbers here take the time to understand what you want before they start cutting to ensure that you look your best after you walk out. At this barber shop, its not discouraged to wait for your favourite hairdresser either, so you can be sure that you get that perfect haircut every time you go. I come here everry time I need a hair cut.

I have been to many barber shops and I can confidently say this has been the worst experience ever. The barbers name was Quinn i asked her to give me a skin fade and she seemed to not understand..so i asked her if she knew what a fade was and she nodded and motioned for me to just sit down. right away she began to shave my hair..10 minutes later my side burns have been shaved off. ABout 30 minutes after my haircut I began to feel extremely itchy, at first i brushed it off thinking it was just the hair clippings, but then i began to find white residue on my fingers after scratching..when i took a picture i found white bumps covering the back of my head. Then i realised the barber did not clean the clippers before using them. I will make sure to file a health and safety complaint aswell. They also require that you wear a mask during the haircut which is so absurd! I will make sure to never come back to this location and I would advise anyone to stay away from this location..unless your interested in a scalp infection.

There hours of operation stated an opening time of 11am on a Sunday. I arrived @ 11:17am and there shop was closed. There was a older fellow inside talking on his phone and when I pulled on the door which was locked he just looked at me and paid me no mind. Oh well..... Guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Awful timing, cleanliness, and work ethic. I had a wedding that I was invited to and I booked an appointment the day before. I show up to the barbershop and had to wait almost 30 minutes even thought I arrived on time. The hair stylist guaranteed me a great cut which resulted in him cutting almost 2 inches off the top after I repeatedly said half a inch. This is an awful barber shop and now I am forced to wear hats every time I go out due to this disgusting haircut. 0/5 and one less customer.

Quynh did a fantastic job cutting my hair. Their prices are VERY reasonable and they have a lot of experience. I would recommend this place to any of my friends looking for a great cut at a great price. $13 cut for men $15 cut for women.. You can't go wrong. Try it out ;)

It’s a great little shop, but if you’re looking to do something more radical or more precise or want to get that cool haircut you saw online, this is NOT the shop for you. Go somewhere else because they just don’t know how to do that. I’ve come here for years until my tastes changed and they couldn’t do what I wanted. This is definitely a shop for the older crowd who don’t care about that, which is perfectly fine. For the price, they can’t be beat, but know what you are expecting.

I come here for Dan and he gets a 5. However, the other staff declined me service because of my gender. It's so frustrating. The hair cut I wanted (and the length when I went in) was no different than the men in the establishment waiting for haircuts. The man getting his haircut before me actually had LONGER hair than I do. Change the outdated gender policy and price by length.

I've had a horrible experience at this location and I would not recommend it to anyone going. I asked for a small trim on the sides and top part of my hair. The barber ended up ruining the entire cut and I had rashes all over my head that took days to get treated. The store is also very unsanitary and dirty no utensils were cleaned whatsoever and the barbers were rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone going and I most definitely will not be coming back to this location.

Went there for the first time based on the reviews online. I moved to a new area and normally I'd drive across town to the place I've always gone, I finally decided to try this place out. At first glance the place smelled like old men and honestly looked like they served primarily old men. I was terrified honestly I was like what did I get myself into. A blonde woman greeted me at the door and asked me to take a seat gave me a wait time the general usuall stuff. I kinda felt a little better knowing that they did serve my kind. lol ... I maybe only waited half the time that they quoted me before Dan grabbed me outta the seating area. Now that I'm not jumping outta my skin I took some time to notice the music they were playing...... finally I'm at home... the old place I went to played some hip radio station the kind that play the same 12 hit songs over and over again. Here at this place they were playing classic rock, which is more my style. Dan was actually really nice and he knew what I wanted better then I did after I explained what I was looking for. After a sort time in the chair a lady walks in and sits way over near Dan's seating area and shes asking him about Lisa's (another barbers) schedule. This gives me enough comfort knowing that this place has regular clients. You go to a place like great clips for your kids hair or men's buzz cut. You know the only regular clients great clips have are buzz cuts and children. Anyways I was done before I knew it when I got to look it was exactly what I wanted... when we got to the counter to pay I was astonished they were only asking for $ 19.95 that's really cheap for great hair cut. I made sure I threw in a big tip.
