Overall, Mast hair is great. Love the cut I get from Chad (he is amazing). Sadly, the shop's ability to keep sanitizing touch areas and ensuring masks are worn by other stylists and patrons needs to be improved. I don't feel comfortable here anymore and can't see myself returning.

Super cool barbershop, with coffee right next door! Team is cool and all great at fades, etc. Rob, Vea and Chad make you feel like you belong from the moment you walk in. The shop is located off Whyte Ave so the parking is easy.

Big shout out to my man Chad Clarke, he has been cutting my hair at multiple different venues for at least 3 years. This was my first time at the Mast Strathcona location and you won't be disappointed. Top quality service from the moment you walk in to the complimentary hair wash massage before the cut, and enjoy the added benefit of taking in the scenery of the buddhist temple garden across the street. He's much more than just a great hair dresser I see Chad as more of a spiritual advisor / psychologist and overall great dude.

As soon as I walked through the door, I knew that it was THE place. It’s clean, simple and the atmosphere; spot on. Chad and staff are inviting, highly talented, professional and down to earth. The products are thoughtfully picked out and purpose-based. Not to mention(!!)I received the best cut and shave of my life for a phenomenal price! (You guys need a higher tip option on your machine!) This shop is fairly new to this area, but is already an absolutely phenomenal place to get a haircut, beard trim, or styling supplies. The shop itself is clean, bright, modern and very well maintained. The barbers on staff are some of the most talented and professional I have had the opportunity to meet. My barber, Vea, is an incredibly talented professional and I recommend anyone looking for a high-quality cut book with him; you will not be disappointed. In addition to the shop itself, the Mast brand has already established itself as a high-quality, locally sourced, and cruelty free brand of hard care and styling products. The experience I have had so far is very good, and these products are very obviously designed by barbers who know the key to well-styled hair. I look forward to getting to use their products more over the coming months. If you're looking for a slick haircut from some of the best in town, this is the place to book, especially with Vea.

Been to a lot of different barber shops around Edmonton and can say I’m finally set on one. MAST Strathcona is clean, professional and laid back all at the same time. Cuts and trims are always beyond expectations, just need to grow a beard so they can do that some day. Chad definitely has the touch when it comes to hair. Will be back for sure. Plus their hair product and merch is great bang for your buck.
