When Mother Nature decided I needed to start embracing my grey hairs Remi was there to see it through with me making it fun every step of the way. She is always looking at new ideas for me to try with colours and cut. I would never hesitate to recommend any of the girls there, they are just awesome.

Terrible. I went here to get my weave done, and it was terribly done. The tracks slipped after three washes and the slipping weave led for the hair to get matted. I went back at the end of august to get another weave put in place and it was woven so tight that the extensions began to rub on my scalp to the point of it being raw, so raw that i had to go to the doctors to get cream to heal. When i phoned bliss and made them aware of what happened, they were willing to put in a new weave for free but they were uncontent during the whole process. A few days later, i had to get that weave taken out and re-woven at a different place. I found that this was a bad decision to even go here in the first place and pay so much money for such a let down of a hair job. For the amount of money that one pays to get work done here, you'd think that you would recieve much better results. The staff needs to re-evaluate their skills and maybe take a few more courses to get a little bit better at what they do. I do not recommend anyone to come to bliss to get any of their hair needs done, for they will NOT be met.

They are truly passionate about what they do and they really know what works well both in styles and colors. I had my hair done by Lauren. I requested to book a time asap as my hair was discoloured by another salon and was upset with the faded result. Lauren responded promptly and set a time within a few days. She listened to my hair concerns and was honest with what she could achieve, something that was not done at previous salons. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.... I went in to have my hair lightened and the results were awful! I was going for a golden blonde, and what I ended up with was an orange-ish pink hue. The stylist was so slow, that I sat in the chair for almost 5 hours. At the end of my cut and color she didn't even blow-dry my hair; which I am sure she did on purpose, so I couldn't see how bad the color was! I called the next day to complain, and the managers tried to tell me it is normal to get results like this. After much persistence, they finally offered to put a toner on my hair; which resulted in a distinct two- toned head of hair; not like a balayage, but like a copper on top, blonde on the bottom atrocity! In the end, they offered me 50% off my next (over-priced) service, but when I was unable to attend and tried to rebook after COVID, I got a nasty call from the manager, saying the offer was no longer valid! Avoid at all costs!

I don't usually leave reviews but I HAD to after my recent visit. I hadn't been to Bliss in several years. I had moved and it was just too far. Fast forward 7 years and I thought I would give it a try again. I am super picky with my hair so it is always a bit nerve wracking trying someone new. My sister in law suggested Nichole. I ended up going for a cut and color consult. She was fantastic! I absolutely love my cut. We also chatted about color for my next appointment. I was going from blonde to copper. That is a huge change so you have to have a lot of trust in someone to get it right! :) SHE NAILED IT. Exactly like the photos I showed her. She was lovely. Super professional, confident in the color selections, friendly and really easy to work with. I was blown away by the results. The salon was super clean (lots of sanitizing between clients) and everyone working was very friendly. Their prices are very fair and appointment booking was super easy. I would highly recommend the salon and ESPECIALLY Nichole! Thank you for my fabulous new color. I am loving it <3

My whole family goes to get their hair cut and coloured at bliss hair by design. I have never had any issues. I even saw a receptionist trade an elderly lady in her hair product she was not interested in using for a better one for her. At no extra charge.

She has just recently transformed my naturally curly hair (that I’ve been straightening for over 20 years) into the exact look I was hoping to achieve - voluminous, soft, bouncy, natural curls that pop! She is a true master at her artistry. The salon is always clean, the staff are always friendly, and the overall vibe of the salon is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Bliss Hair Design!

I had a balayage done by Mackenzie Andrews. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at the salon. However, when I went home I realized that there were a few things that did not look right with the colouring. I had a brassy band around my head where my hair was newly bleached and my highlights were not blended properly into my roots. I understand that mistakes can happen, which is why I did not get too upset. I messaged her and asked if she can correct it for me which she agreed to and set up an appointment for me. All was good until she decided to cancel my correction appointment and gave it to another customer. This was really frustrating for me because she was aware that I wasn't going to be in town for long and needed my hair fixed asap. If mistakes are made, I believe it should be your priority to fix it instead of ignoring your customer.

I just started coming here because my previous stylist closed down her home business. I linked up with Lauren via Kijiji and booked an appointment with her shortly after. My end result is to be a platinum silver with shadow roots- but my hair is dark and coarse (Asian background). I have been trying to get to a almost white blonde for almost a year now and Lauren was able to do it in one sitting without severely damaging my hair! With such a darastic change there was obviously damage but it was to be expected. My hair is still in amazing condition and Lauren made sure that I walked away happy with the color and with minimal damage. All the girls here are attentive and very kind- they make you feel comfortable in long sessions. I am super excited for my follow up appointment next month to get me to my end result ☺️. She ensured I was happy. All the staff is so friendly and they make you feel welcome. Bliss is worth the drive out to St. Albert from the City. The only reason it's not a 5 star, is the parking is at times in short supply. Not the fault of Bliss, but it does affect the experience.
