Booked an appointment with a hair dresser through whom I believe is their receptionist. She is very friendly but I believe over the course of a year I have talked to her toddler over the phone more than her, even before covid. The child answers the phone and talks than hangs up. You call back and it's the same concept. After calling multiple times she finally picked up and thought it was funny as she laughed. I did not as I was running behind and couldn't get to their shop due to construction, I wasn't familiar with how to get there with everything closed off.
When asked if I was ok to still come because we were late she said it was fine. I sent my son in alone, as its policy with covid to have minimal personal within the shop. He came out really upset that the hair dresser couldn't cut his hair as we had a funeral to attend the next day. I went in and spoke to Nick, he was very kind and well mannered. He explained he was already behind and having us late he wasn't able to cut his hair as he was already over booked for the time he has, due to extra cleaning polices between each cut. I made mention that the receptionist said it was fine and he didn't know what to say, as he hadn't talked to her all day. So she stated yes for us to come just for the business, without even consulting the hairdresser whom she already overbooked. Upsetting none the less as it was stated there wasn't really any time to have my sons hair cut in the first place because she squeezed him due to how tight of a booking schedule she made this young man.
I can say we are done with this Mickey Mouse operation that they are running. Yes it was my fault for being late and Nick was the most professional I have seen a young man be, and would recommend him for those who are interested in trying this establishments services, just by how well he presented himself but we will not be back. There are many other salons in Regina to pay $40 for a teenagers hair cut than here.

I rated this place a 5/5 a while ago but no longer feel it is up to that standard of a rating any longer. I recently took my son in to get his hair cut by the same hair dresser that has been cutting it for years. I feel this shop is slowly going down hill, barbers are lounging about and my sons hair was absolutely butchered this visit... he was only in his appointment for 20 mins and it looks nothing like the previous 20 haircuts I have paid 40 dollars for. At 40 dollars a hair cut for a 15yro I expect quality, let alone maybe having the phone awnsered. I had to call multiple times to book the appointment let alone to try and change the time, I called for over an hour multiple times without being able to change it. I was frustrated to come in to be told I should of just came in as he wasn't doing anything anyways... why wasn't he phone being awnsered?? We will no longer be customers at this shop as I can get better service and quality for the same price else where.
