I've gone here multiple times over the years and have always been happy with the service except the last time. I went in to get my hair coloured and that was all I wanted done. The hairdresser did an okay job with the coloring ( not what I originally wanted, but the coloring is still fine), but decided to cut my hair without me even mentioning it to her. The hairdresser also seemed quite frustrated that she had to work on my hair. Now I'm having a really hard time trying to grow my hair out. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

I had today haircut and balayage. The worst experience ever. First of all I was not satisfied just with hairstyling because the hairstylist didn’t wash my hair properly after coloring them, so my hair looked dirty and was styled in horrible way. I’m not sure if she applied some conditioner. I had to go home wash them properly and styling myself. After that I noticed that the balayage technique was done wrong way. The point the balayage is that highlights should look NATURALLY and not obvious. My hair now look like I did my coloring a six months ago and my roots now need coloring! On my right side it’s so obvious that I can’t look at myself!!!! She started coloring from the right side then left side and at the last back side. And NOW my right side is more lighter the others!!! Usually back side the first and the left and right sides. I know it because It’s not my first balayage!!!! I can’t say how I’m frustrated!!! Please, don’t advertise on your website services that your hairstylists can’t do properly! I’ve paid more then $200 for such horrible service.

I was visiting from out of province and needed a hair cut (men's haircut). This place was able to accommodate my walk-in visit and gave me a great hair cut, wash, and condition for a fraction of the price I pay back in Toronto ($15 instead of $45). My stylist had great attention to detail, and wasn't afraid to ask if she wasn't sure how I wanted something. The venue is great and the employees are really nice and down to earth. I will definitely go back if I'm in town and need a stylish cut.

I had my first appointment with Annette. My second hair cut this year so a lot of hair had to come off. She listened to what I had in mind and asked for pictures. Annette did a wonderful cut and style for me. She was easy to talk to. Also I felt very comfortable with the covid enhancements that Afterglow has put in place.

Samantha Peter's while I was visiting she streaked my hair and did an amazing job. I am so impressed and will be back 100% she even had to go over our time as I have so much hair. She actually did the best job I have ever had , plus the staff were very friendly and I enjoyed my chats with Samantha I highly recommend this place 100% keep up the good work ladies! The worst hair salon experience I’ve ever had!! Had to go back in 3 TIMES to get my hair died and still ended up with unsatisfied results!! 1st time I went in with a picture of the exact colour I was going for (light brown) and it turned out black. The 2nd time I went back to get it fixed and it turned out bleach blonde with green undertones. Finally, I went back a 3rd time in tears because they had messed up my hair so bad and the staff was so mean and rude!! I ended up leaving with brown hair with unnaturally orange undertones. Not at all what I asked for. Horrible customer service and not at all professional!!! Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon by far.
