I'm pretty easy going, but... The music they were playing was slightly off-putting. I'm pretty eclectic with music, but one song was "Where you (N Bombs) at? Where my (N Bombs) at? Where the f%=& you at?" That being said, they did do a great job with my haircut. Plus, they were amazing with my son. That will always get points with me.

I was hardly talk to at all, only turned towards the mirror once the entire time and not once was I asked if I liked the work done. I wasn't asked how I wanted to pay, I just had the terminal put infront of me and told "credit card please." I wasn't brushed off so I still have hair on me. Even without the mirror I was able to see improper use of the thinning shears. I felt nervous the entire time as I had no idea what was going on, and communication was severely lacking. The language barrier didn't help either, and when the barber needed me to do something, words were sparce. For example, he wanted me to change masks, which confused me since I already had one. He didn't say anything, just held one infront of me without a word. I had to ask what was wrong with mine before I was able to get an explanation. It seems my experience might have been an outlier, as the majority of the other review seem positive. The big issue though, is that things like improper technique and chair direction should be nonexistent issues due to practice, but they aren't.

The worst hair cut I ever had! I show up there tell her what I want. She was to damn occupied closing her salon instead of listening to me. She actually started shaving my freaking head. When I said WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! She replied thats what you asked right?!? I was so damn mad I said of course NOT! And she even had the balls to argue with me. Anyways hair grows, but if you want my advice DO NOT EVER go there!

Found this barber shop about a year ago, and I've been back a handful of times since. It's always such a pleasant experience, and the price is more than fair, at $18 taxes in for a men's cut. Tip them well, they're worth every penny!

Don't waste your time. Terrible service. Never had a hair cut where I can't watch my hair being cut. She faced me away from the mirror while she cut it and then spun me around thinking she was done.... I asked her to go shorter. Then she spun me back around not facing the mirror again. Repeat this scenario 3 times. Afterwards she said to me and I quote "it looked better before". Came here for a hair cut, not your opinions. On top of all this it's extremely overpriced. Wound never recommend or return.

Maggy does whatever she wants and refuses to let you experiment with your hair. A new man cut my hair today and did what I wanted but when Maggy saw she « fixed » it and made it so much shorter and worse. They kept arguing about what to do with my hair yet never once thought to do what I asked them to.

I would go again. Let my hair grow for two years and my beard for ten months. Walked in, waited for 5-10 min. I'm happy with the results. $25 for the cut and $10 for beard trim.

I’ve been to at least 20 hair cutting places and have NEVER seen people get hairs cuts while facing AWAY from the mirror. Isn’t the purpose of the mirror, so that you can watch how it’s going and give feedback ? If not, then what is the purpose?

After many years of searching for a barbershop to call home... I walked into the shop (on Thorold Rd) more than 5 years ago with zero expectation and walked out a client for life... Farha and her team are always extremely welcoming, and get to know you by name! Maggie has been cutting my hair since day 1, and always does an amazing job. Here, you pay for quality and a barbershop experience... you're not in/out of the chair in 8 minutes or less! They are maticulous and make sure you are happy! I have 2 young boys, and after countless chop jobs at other hair cutting chains... no one else wiill cut our hair. Dope man all I can say. This guy spent Time with me. This wasn't no FIRST CHOICE haircut. Erin worked his magic on my head man...and I smelt great when I left. I felt relaxed. It was the 3rd time to this barber-shop. Maggie cut me once and was very nice and they both these (barbers) seem to blend and cut as one person. Erin cuts was same as Maggie;s in August. Although I smelt better after Erin. This Barber spent time looking at my ears and neck wiping them clean of hairs. He shaved me out past my neck it was awesome :) It wasn't rushed at all-he spent time perfecting me. Im very happy and my Mom said even that I have a beautiful haircut. Ive never had a Barber spend so much time looking at me and making sure I looked and smelt great. Thank you Welland Barber Shop !

I got a terrible experience here in January 2020. I met one guy and showed him some images of my hair shape and style in the past, and just wanted him to make my hair like that. Then, he said that: "No problems!". Finally, he destroyed my hair by using a hair clipper and cutting all of my hair on the right side which need to be there. It made my hair so weird and odd. I'm really disappointed and never come back again! Okay, the owner replied me and told that i am a fake. Actually, she could not remember who am i because i didn't get angry at that time. I clearly understood that if i hit the ceiling at that time, my hair still could not go back to the way it was. An owner can ask the man barber working at the middle chair, he surely remember who am i cause i had a haircut with him in the morning on Friday, 17th of January 2020 after he purchasing a cup of Tim Hortons for you madam! I've added some images in order to prove that i'm not a fake and my hair is worse.

This place rocks! A new guy Eric did my hair the other day and was wicked! Ive had like 3 ppl comment on my hair already. Never had that before. First time someone wiped my ears and forehead clean of hair with (hot towel) and showed me what he was using to style my new digs. So I bought a jar of Tip Top Pomade and dropped a well deserved tip to him!! Im going back with my buds next time so they can see for themselves the type of service this place gives for sweet price.

WOW!! Who is this guy !! He did my BF'S hair in 14 mins I was LIKE WHAT.... because we came in late and asked them if they are closed. This guy WAS born with scissors IN his HAND.
