Please keep in mind this review is from online order that was shipped. I will admit they have a very good collection of naked and famous denim, in fact the reason I ordered from them was because they were one of the few places that had what I wanted in stock and in my size. However, overall I have not been impressed for a couple of reasons. The first one, and most minor was shipping took quite a while. Now granted I ordered a few weeks before Christmas so with Canada posts holiday hours and their own holiday hours I fully expected them to take longer than normal, annoying but to be expected. After all, every one needs some time off. The real problem was that when I received my order and opened them I was shocked to see the security tag still attached. Sure, mistakes happen, but it takes 5 seconds to unfold the jeans to check if it has a tag. Especially when they’re expensive (if they were $40, whatever, for $200 I expect a little more attention to detail). I also feel like when you’re shipping an item across the country you would perhaps be extra diligent in ensuring the security tags are removed. The second issue was that I called multiple times, over multiple days, at different times (right when they opened, during lunch and before they closed). Not once did anyone answer the phone. Beyond frustrating. After taking the jeans to several stores, no one was able to remove the tags so out of pure frustration I took things into my own hands and was able to get it off. While these issues wouldn’t be near as big of a deal if I bought them in store and lived near by doesn’t mean it wasn’t very frustrating. I’ve decided to rate a 2/5 because these are simple things that should never have happened in the first place and then in addition to not being able to get into contact with them just adds to the frustration. Again, while selection is impressive, I most likely will never be buying from them again. I would rather just not buy a pair of jeans I want then to risk going through a hassle like this again.

I've had a haircut here twice. Barber is clearly talented, but each time it's been rushed and I'm out of the chair within 20 minutes and I've noticed neck hairs have been missed or longer hair in the fade have been missed once I'm home. Another customer came in for haircut but was a half hour early, he asked if there was a chance he could get in earlier and the barber said he would try his best. So there seemed to already be intention to get me out of the chair quickly. Almost $40 with tax and tip is a bit steep to have these issues twice. However, really cool place and great staff with nice atmosphere.

Great staff! Very accommodating and nice people. The owner I can’t say too much about. On multiple occasions I have walked into providence while the owner had been sitting on his phone. No greeting or even acknowledgement that I have come into the business. I personally will not shop here again. If I could rate this any lower, I would :)

They cancelled my appointment 4 days after booking it and gave me 24 hours notice. Wouldn't normally be that much of an issue, but I have a wedding the following day. Will book again in the future because they made an attempt to reschedule. Cool store

Trendy bar/barber boutique not unlike the thousands popping up all over North America. The female staff member was a great girl- full of enthusiasm and fab customer service. It really is too bad she is stuck working for a very miserable boss who claims to give seminars at the university in business. My daughter had an unfortunate encounter with him during an interview process about business. When a man raises his voice to a young female student in public unprovoked it leaves a bad taste. Again not a bad boutique and great female staff but wow- just not a nice guy!

First time walking into Providence. I'm a trans person. The first thing the employee said to me was "alot of women are looking for fathers Day gifts, maybe I can help you find something". So, this store is definitely not trans friendly, and I was completely uncomfortable the entire time I was there based on that tone deaf and completely oblivious comment. Not only assuming I was a woman, but also that I MUST be shopping for a man, and also that I have a living father. No doubt the company will comment on here saying they are indeed trans friendly, but that's BS when these are the kind of interactions the employees are having with customers. It will be my last time walking in there.
