Love The Curly Read Head!! Amy and the staff are always so cheery and wonderful! Service is quick and professional. The products are amazing and smell great! Oh and my hair is ALWAYS beautiful! The highlights/bayalage I get done and the cut both grow out so well, so if I don’t get back in a timely manner my hair still looks great. People ask me who does my hair all the time, proud to say The Curly Red Head!

Between photo's, hugs and kisses and an evening of endless dancing our up-do's lived to tell the tale. I can't thank these girls enough for their great work and hospitality. I made an appointment for a cut with Amy after having a friend recommend her for colouring. I was a bit apprehensive about the half hour appointment slots because I have thick curly hair that usually takes about 45-60 minutes for a good appointment, but she managed to do it in the 30 minutes. A week later my curls have settled down (which is normal for my hair) and I can hop out of the shower, add a bit of product, and be on my way out the door no problem!

Wasn't amazing. I went to get my hair dyed, I was a little skeptical so they suggested a Demi colour where it doesn't stay in as long. it was a good suggestion and I thank them for that. I selected my colour, (a very light blonde, I think a level down from platinum), expecting a nice natural blonde look, it turned out to look very yellowish golden. People asked me if I dyed my hair golden though I was going for a blonde not Goldie locks. Sorry but not the best experience. And I know I sound like such a baby but I didnt like it so much that when I got home I started crying and I NEVER cry. Also, they said the Demi colour would fade but it never did and it's been a very long time (4 months) though they said it would fade in 5 weeks. Sorry but not my favourite place to go, but nice people, good service. Just wasn't impressed with the result.

Amy always does a wonderful job with my hair. I have fairly thick, wavy hair that can get pretty frizzy, especially during our hot, humid summers. I had two outdoor performances last weekend during Canada Day. Amy used her Steam Pod straightener on my hair the day prior to my shows. Despite the crazy hot weather my hair actually behaved from morning 'til night and surprisingly looked great for both performances. I would definitely recommend this product, and of course, Amy!

Joey from the curly red head took the time to assess and make a plan to help me achieve the look I want without any damage to my hair. There is no doubt in my mind that this was the worst hair salon I have ever been to. My hairstylist spent the entire appointment washing and drying my hair, and her next client was sitting there waiting before my hair had even been cut. The manager even motioned to the stylist to hurry up which is obviously extremely unprofessional and made me feel like my time there was unworthy of respecting. The actual haircut took about two minutes and was outstandingly choppy and uneven, not at ALL what I had asked for. I was not even given the option to view the back of my haircut. When I contacted the manager I was told that it would be three weeks before they could fix it and that a more experienced hairstylist would not fix it. The ONLY time I will mention this salon is to warn others to not waste their time and money on such a horrible experience. If I could rate one star I would.

The stylist took barely enough hair off and was asked to go in and take more twice. He spent all of his time blowing out my hair when 3 times I told him I don’t blow dry my hair and would never wear it this way. He insisted he needed to see my layers better and then charge me an enormous amount. Very disappointed. Shop was cluttered and not tidy. The only positive is the staff was polite and personal. Very disappointing. Do not recommend.
