This is a great barber shop. The owner is super friendly and does a great job. I went to a much more expensive place down the street and my haircut was so awful that my wife insisted I go get it fixed. It's the best inexpensive barbershop I've found in Ottawa. I need minimum work and the only thing I ask a barber is to treat my head respectfully - however, most of the other barbers in Ottawa feel obliged to hit me continuously with their instruments. But not here! Well, and I'm satisfied with the cut as well.

I really enjoyed the hair style and hair cut in this barbershop. The price was so reasonable and the style was fantastic. The guy is so friendly. However, the parking is a bit tricky, but always you can find two hours free parking in the second, third and fourth avenue. The guy’s name was Issa; I liked his cutting styles; he is so fast and opens early for seven days a week.

My brother took an appointment two days ago, when he showed up, the owner of the barbershop was not there and a young guy did his cut. The guy claimed to have two years experience outside Canada and recently worked here. The cut was so bad that no other barbers accepted to fix it for him, until his hair grows back. He obviously has no experience at all, and the owner allowed him to train on customers! We absolutely do not recommend this barbershop! Don’t waste your money.

I have been going to this location to get my haircut for many years. I started going because I was tired of having to make an appointment to get my haircut. Too much planning. Nabil did such a great job that I was concerned when Issa took over. My concerns were short-lived as Issa does a great job. He listens to what you want and follows through without hesitation. His scissor work is excellent and he makes sure the job is completed with the small touches that make the experience very worthwhile. He is full value at a very reasonable rate. I have paid much more for a haircut but have not found one better.

I went to the Glebe's Barbershop randomly late on Saturday (today Feb 29 2020). While most barbershops were either vlosed or closing soon, this one was open. I met Sam, I showed him a photo of what I would like done to my hair. He delivered what I asked for, perfect haircut, very skillful with the scissors, the hair clipper, the comb and with the hairdryer. He was very careful and meticulous, best of all, he was patient and happy to deliver a great hair cut. I am going back for future cuts for sure.

I get both hair and beard done for a great price and he always makes himself available !! I live in Alymer which means that on a good day it takes me 30-40 mins to get there but I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else !! Trust me get your haircut here, Issa will take care of you !!

I never give 1 stars but this will be an exception. I went to get a haircut and while I was there the guy cutting my hair made an antisemetic remark and the other two barbers just laughed with him. Disgusting. On top of that they butchered my hair. I went back 15 minutes later to ask them to fix it and the guy wanted to charge me a second time...insane. He ended up doing it but he was being rude the entire time, making me feel super uncomfortable. Shameful.

I went there when Issa wasn't working. The other barber was clearly not as experienced. I asked for a beard trim and haircut. The close buzz on my head was very imprecise, many spots were missed. Little to no attention was paid to lining up the beard. All in all, quite a poor experience for the price (something in the neighbourhood of $30 before tax and tip).
