This is a basic no frills haircut place. Honestly I think they shouldn’t have the word barbershop in the name. I just swung by for a beard trim and I was surprised to see all Asian women stylists at a barbershop! The girl who did my beard trim seemed skilled at giving haircuts. My beard trim was alright. I like going to hair salons for haircuts and to barbershops for beard trims, so it’s a no repeat for me.

A good middle of the road shop. The staff is experienced and caring. I've had cuts from 4 different stylists there and all were very good. Anyone can breeze through a machine cut. That's not what I need or want. I struggled for two years trying to find a fresh comfortable shop with friendly staff who could offer a real scissor cut. My search is over. George and his staff are worthy of a visit.

Most amazing experience I've had in Oakville with my sons yet. George took so much time with my 10 year old who decided on a different look half way through his haircut. George was so accommodating and had no problem switching it up and taking his time with my son. I didn't get the other barbers name unfortunately, but he did my other two sons (7 and 8 years old). He took his time and gave my 7 year old his first "big boy" haircut and my 8 year old said this was the best "soccer haircut" he's ever had! Definitely will be back for more haircuts

I have been going to Work of Art for 15 years and also brought my children for their trims. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun, relaxed traditional style barber shop. The recent upgrades make it look more stylish and modern but it seems like Jorge and Co-Ed team of stylists still have managed to retain their focus on consistently delivering quality a hair cutting service. The added bonus is the entertainment of Jorge’s latest joke. have a laugh and every time I go for a trim or a shave. The prices are very reasonable too.

A proper barber shop with a great team - Having recently moved to Oakville I was in search of a good barber and the reviews at Work of Art spoke for themselves...having visited I can see why. I had my cut done by Nikki who did an amazing job (as confirmed by my wife!) - Very friendly team with a great clean shop and excellent service. In recent barber experiences at other places I noticed the skill of shaving with a straight razor was a dying art, but these guys show you how it should be done. Kudos to George and the entire team for making it such a great environment - all the positive reviews are no accident.

It was a fast efficient hair cut. It looks busy, but there are up to six barbers working at the same time, so the line moves fast! The barber who cut my hair is not comfortable shaving a face, so I'm waiting for another stylist to shave my face. So far it has been a fantastic experience!!

I went here for the first time this morning after having been butchered by my previous barber of 2 years for the third time. Naturally I was a little anxious, having not done any research on them before hand and not knowing what to expect. I walked in and was greeted by Ron, who took me right away. I explained my situation and what my usual cut is (0 High fade), and he got to fixing my screwed up head right away. I left 15 minutes later looking like a million bucks. Thanks Ron!
