First off, at atmosphere is fantastic. You can tell the boys take great care of their shop, everything is so clean and organized. Even during my first visit, it felt like I chatting with life long friends, can't say I've been to a place as unique and welcoming as this one. I've been getting my cuts from Sebastian, and let me tell ya, I have nothing but praise for the man. He knows his stuff, and takes great pride in his work. I usually ask for cuts that would complement my head shape, and Sebas had no problem walking me through his thought process. My cut came out exactly as described, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. I don't think I've had a barber that cared as much as Sebas, I really appreciate his honesty and dedication. I'm glad to have stumbled upon Sharp Society. I look forward to getting cuts from Sebas for many years to come!

But unlike every morning, today, I woke up to a notification to leave a review for Sharp Society Barbershop an upcoming barbershop run by a barber and image consultant named Quaison (Q). Immediately my temperament lifts and all the dissatisfaction brewing in my soul dissipates into thin air. A tear proceeds to roll down my cheek. All I’m left thinking about is the time, I came and got a cut from Sharp Society Barbershop a few weeks ago. More than the cut, and beard work that was incredibly well done, it was an experience. Got my hair cut with Seb. The time and patience he took to cut my hair was supreme. He wasn’t rushed and actually took the time to ensure that he cut my hair right. He asked me good questions that were essential in understanding how I wanted my haircut and most importantly he never assumed anything. The easiest telltale sign of the quality and effort put into the cut was when he took the time and diligently shaved around my temple with a blade, making sure that there was no shadow at all, just only a clean line. I also had some rudimentary questions on how to take care and style my hair, and he explained and provided me quality tips and advice.

Shops clean, workers are friendly. Have a long term barber, wanted to try something new. Asked for a mid skin fade and got a fairly high fade, which is honestly very common with barbers when you ask for a mid fade. The cut it's self wasn't too bad, but I think I'll stick with my current barber in the future. Prices are average for a haircut in Oakville.

Before meeting Q I didn’t have a go to barber. I would try various places and ended up with just a satisfactory cut sometimes and other times I would be disappointed. Thing was is that I never had a great cut. Then when looking for a more modern cut I ended up trying yet another place - and I am glad I did. From the moment I met Q I knew this was going to be a much more enjoyable experience. Q has a great demeanour and is a really good guy to chat with - it is not the type of experience where you are just sitting there in silence and waiting for it to be done so you can get on with your day. Q also has great vision with what can be done with your hair and then executes that vision to perfection. Every time I get my hair cut the compliments from others come. I really enjoy each visit and love the new shop. I would highly recommend Q to anyone looking to have a much more enjoyable experience and a great cut. I will point out one negative - Q is a Lakers fan....like come on what’s up with that?!?

Worth the drive to Sharp Society!! Q used to cut my hair at a barber shop a couple minutes away from my house. I now drive 25minutes through traffic to still get my hair cut by Q. When you find a barber that knows his stuff, delivers a flawless haircut each time and always gives useful tips on how to style your hair, you don't mind the drive to his cozy shop. I always enjoy the music, refreshing atmosphere and stylish haircut.

It is very hard to find people who have a passion for their craft, Quaison is one of the few who does. He took his time to listen to what I was wanted, provided me with suggestions that would be beneficial to me (not trying to upsell me), and took his time in doing my beard.
